Insane Minecraft PterodactOwl: OP Loot from Cows!

Uh like even if we struggle with finding cows oh my God we’ve hit the mother oh my God there’s even more so many moves die hello ladies and gentlemen pterodactyle reporting for duty today we are playing Minecraft but the cows drop op loot now this can go one of two ways

We can either get Super Lucky and find a lot of cows or it could be the complete opposite where this world just decides to not spawn any cows I’ve had it happen both ways in other worlds and I’m really hoping the former is uh the way it goes

But I suppose we’ll have to see now that being said this will be linked in the description below if you want to check it out for yourself and while you’re down there you consider liking and subbing because it does support me a great deal that was a lot of lag right

There now first things first let’s just go ahead and get ourselves some wood because we’re going to want to make you know a couple Stone swords just to start uh because otherwise killing cows is going to be really annoying I mean finding cows is actually probably going

To be the most annoying part but let’s go ahead and uh throw the crafting table down make the sticks here and we need a pickaxe hold on we need we need more wood I forgot we need a pickaxe to actually get the stone give me give me

Why’ you fall down here why whatever let’s go ahead throw that into here I can’t click it there we go and do some of that so yeah I guess uh we’re at the we’re at the uh the mercy of RNG here with uh whether or not cows actually

Spawn but yeah whenever we kill them they’re supposed to drop some pretty good stuff you know that’s why it’s called op loot um but let’s let’s go ahead let’s just get enough for a furnace and a couple pickaxes I’ll just uh get this row here uh furnace what’s actually nice about

This though is that I’m going to be forced to look for C cow which means I’ll probably end up having enough food um at the end of the day let’s make a stone pickaxe just for the sake of having it and then two Stone swords uh just for the sake of having

Those as well and then that should be enough to uh carry us for now uh should I make yeah I should probably make a stone axe just for the sake of having that one as well and then let’s just get uh three more to make up for the deficit

For the furnace there we go pick up our crafting table let’s go ahead and find some cows earlier I had spotted a sheep over here but it probably has despawned at this point I mean The Acacia biome can actually spawn a lot of cows so I

Suppose it’s at least we got a decent spawn uh that that’s basically all I can say there’s also iron over here I don’t know if we’re necessarily going to need to get it because again killing cows is going to basically give us everything we need uh but you know what just for the

Sake of iron being iron and there’s a zombie here why just for the sake of iron being iron okay there’s also a skeleton that’s great that’s great you know what I can make though is a shield I can make a shield with this one iron as soon as I’m able to

Um smelt it there’s also more iron here which is fantastic okay and now let’s go ahead and start our search for cows oh there’s a sheep uh I mean we need beds too still I don’t know if the cows will end up dropping beds I don’t know if that’s

Considered op loot uh so we might just still need to find sheep and whatnot cows cows there’s pigs this isn’t pigs drop op loot though so I don’t know why you’re giving me pigs now eventually I’ll do a pigs drop op loot but right now I actually am

Be annoying I can’t believe a frog light is considered op loot I don’t know if I’d consider that and it’s not like I’m making up that word it’s not like I’m just using op loot as a way to describe it it is called uh pigs drop op or cows drop op

Loot and I don’t know what part of an enchantment table in ochre Frog Light is op loot like the enchantment table I get it’s made out of expensive resources but at the end of the day it’s not useful anymore enchantment tables have become mostly um you know just you know obsolete

Uh because so there’s so many loot tables in structures and whatnot to get other uh or just to get enchantments in general and sorry my voice is like dead this morning I don’t know why oh is that an acacia Village maybe they have some uh fenced

In uh cows that we can kill maybe just maybe uh what was I saying okay so it was be before my voice started dying uh yeah the enchantment table was rendered absolutely just by uh the structure the new structure loot tables and the the constantly updated structures and whatnot you know added

Structures and also villagers also carry lots of good stuff um I’m wondering if I should smell all of these or should I just actually let’s go ahead and throw these in here or should I just go to the village and collect as much hay as I can

Because that that can also work but if I’m going to do that hey I have a perfect amount look at this this is insane look at this look at this this is big plays big plays for collecting the hay bales assuming they have hay bales hopefully they do

Otherwise I’m going to be really upset we’ll just take this this this we’ll we’ll stop that for now and then we will go on our merry way to the Village see if we can find some cows along the way oh oops man now I don’t even need to make a bed

In this Acasia biome that is insane and I I swear I’ve happened across all three of them because I think Acacia biomes are great for cow spawning honestly I think I always get the most cow spawns in AAA Villages uh maybe maybe that’s not accurate maybe that’s just me maybe

Armor template can you please drop the Ender pears you stop you have stopped dropping ender pearls and I don’t know how I feel about that I don’t know if we need Frost Walker it could be useful though we’ll keep the frost Walker boots cuz it could be

Useful still no ender pearls or anything Blaze related which again we need blaze rods and things to get to the end right the the Creator had listed some like some of what is able to drop and blaze rods were not on that list now again it didn’t say it was all of the

Items it was only like 30 of the items I can drop and blaze rods were not on the list which bothered me a little bit cuz obsidian also wasn’t on the list so I mean what’s the point of the op L what’s the point of dropping ender

Pearls if the other things can’t drop again this is speculation we have to kill more cows to get a better uh sample size but so far they’ve already been dropping sort of the same things which isn’t that exciting but I guess we can see what happens from

I wonder how this would be um I was just thinking about this if you combined it with a data pack that spawns More Cows I don’t know if that’s a thing uh but that could be Nifty if there’s a it would have to be compatible though the two would have to be

Uh compatible versions um but it might be cool if this could be combined with something that replaces sheep and pig spawns with like cow spawns as well so then it’s not like you know cuz then you still have to find the animals but now they’re just all cows

It now the the thing about the data pack is that I think it’s falsely advertised and I I hate when things are falsely advertised especially when I put the effort into making a video on it and then it’s nothing like what I’d expect it to be uh based on how it is

Advertised um and then I can’t even say anything to the Creator because they’ve disabled comments so that’s great I love that for myself but I’d say that uh some of the lot is op but a lot of it is useless I’d say more of it is useless than it is useful

Especially since they’re not dropping blaze rods eyes Avengers or even obsidian to make it easier to easier to get into The Nether uh that that’s really what gets me is that either way you have not made the game really that much easier because you still forced me

To go out of my way to get into The Nether now I’m not necessarily looking for like I don’t always want Minecraft to be easy but when I play a data pack like this I kind of just want to be able to like speedrun get everything I need to and

Then get to the end and that that that is like a an enjoyable experience for me because that’s part of the data Pack’s uh sort of design right but when something is falsely advertised and I expect that to happen but then it’s just not then you know I I think I

Have the right to be disappointed a and I think that I don’t know things should just stop you uh should stop being falsely advertised um and then there’s just no cap again this actually might be a lot better if there’s a data pack that increases the spawn rate of cows that

Would be really cool I didn’t think about that until I started recording the video but if y’all if yall try that or find a data pack that does that um you know let me know how it goes because that would be that that could that could

Be really cool and again I just haven’t seen any cows while I’ve been running around doing this little Spiel of mine um I do want to find a couple more just to see what else we can get to spawn from them before I you know know end the video a little prematurely again

Still going to go up I still think it’s a fun video but I think it’s important to understand how difficult it can be sometimes you know I didn’t realize this when I first started recording Minecraft but it gets really annoying really fast when people are dishonest about their

Data packs or don’t provide information on like don’t provide a proper description of their pack on the the website um or when the version isn’t specified and I have to you know open Minecraft three four times just to figure out what version it’s compatible for uh there’s just like small things

That build up that make the process kind of a nuisance it’s fun you know at the end of the day the game is fun to play but sometimes it is a nuisance to find these things and you know make sure they they work they the way they need to and you know I

I just I hate having to jump through hoops when it shouldn’t have to be that way when you make a data pack you should make it as easy as possible for the player who’s using your data pack because if you don’t you risk losing a player of your data pack that’s sort of

That’s sort of the the reason you want to make it you know convenient right um so these concepts are fantastic but if they’re not executed just right and then if comments are disabled and I can’t leave suggestions on how to improve it then what’s the point of releasing the data pack I

Really don’t understand uh because it’s supposed to be for the Minecraft community and if we can’t interact with it what’s the point but I guess that’s just a you know a little rant of mine and uh just a little idea or a glimpse into how like you know what the how how almost

Uh just frustrating the behind the scenes process is with all of this uh like sometimes I will be at my computer for an hour or two hours just s searching for something to record because data packs you know or like I I’ll keep trying to put data

Packs in they don’t work and they’re incompatible and something’s not working um or just I don’t know like tons of other things it’s just like there’s a whole lot to behind the scenes but yeah I don’t know I guess I apologize for the rant if you don’t

Really care for it but I think it’s I think it’s important for a viewer to understand that there is a little difficulty to all of this and it can be frustrating it’s not always the most fun when it comes like the game again the the game itself is fun when I’m playing

It’s fun and recording is genuinely fun but all of that that behind the scenes stuff can can sometimes just kick me in the ass honestly and I have not seen a single other cow this entire time is this a new Village is this a new ACAA Village I

Don’t think I’ve been to this one I really just want to kill a couple more cows before I give up but if you’re really not going to give me more cows then I’m going to kill this cat I’m just kidding i’ would never do that I would

Absolutely never do that but cows please oh I have been to this Village this is where the lava was and the cow the Sheep has died over there um all right well I still again I still want to find more cows give it a couple more shots but like again if

You’re not if you’re just not going to give me the cows game then I don’t see the point of searching around but I’m going to keep looking going to keep looking around for just a little bit longer see if we can find a few more cows maybe in this newer biome the

Plains biome over here anymore like did did cows just cows were just like no we’re not going to spawn ever again for you because you’ve been on this data pack and honestly we like this data pack even though it makes you kill us we like this

Data pack so we’re just not going to spawn anymore that’s exactly what the cows are thinking and honestly that’s fair enough I get it I get it honestly not going to lie I absolutely understand but you see cows if you want this just to be over with

You should spawn to make my life a little bit easier right I a crafting tables up there do I’m not to pick that up woo hi crafting table hello I guess I forgot to pick up my crafting table my bad oh well all right I’m going to give this one
