Insane Redstone Roulette Tutorial! (60fps)

Hey guys mr. crayfish and welcome back to another redstone tutorial in this tutorial today I’m going to be teaching you guys how to build this Russian roulette minigame now if you don’t know what Russian roulette is it is a game of chance and if you are unlucky you will

Die now I’ve got the same concept as a little mini game here in Minecraft so if we go ahead in the chamber here we are now locked in and we have a 50% chance that we will get out and the other 50% chance is we will die so let’s go ahead

And press this button here and see if we are lucky well oh no we died we are dying Oh No so let’s try it again test our chances oh no we’re unlucky again alright one more time come on yeah there we go see as you can see that time we were

Actually let out the machine let’s test it one more time yeah whoa we’re on a roll now we’re on a roll the way do I do it one more time four three four good luck no why did I do that so this would be a pretty fun game to play with your

Friends on a server but anyway let’s get straight into learning how to build this so what you’re going to need is 30 redstone dust eight redstone torches 18 redstone repeaters three redstone comparators three sticky pistons two dispensers one dropper seven hoppers two slime blocks one stone pressure plate

One stone button six note blocks six planks of a tree so it doesn’t really matter we just need them to set the tune of the note block two chests one lava bucket seven furnaces for glass and sixty-four bucks of your choice now I’ve just got some extras just

Because I’m going to be doing some decorating at the end so the first thing that we need to do is dig a three wide by 5 1 by 4 deep hole so I go Spade here so we want to dig a 3 wide hole and then

Make it a 5 long so it’s already 1 2 3 4 5 and dig this way and then dig back like that then you want to dig that down four more times up three more times I mean so this is one two and three then

You want to come to the front of your hole here and at the middle one we’re going to leave two spaces then I’m going to place a sticky piston facing upwards place your two slime blocks and then get your block of choice and we’re going to

Place that on top like that get out your furnaces and we’re going to place one here one here and one here now hold shift when you’re placing them just so you don’t open up the UI and then we’re also you’re going to have one here one

Here and one there now come down into your hole and to the left of the piston we’re going to place one block a furnace and then in front of that furnace I’m going to place a block now again Crouch place the block down then in this corner

Place a block down in this down there we’re going to put a redstone repeater going into that block a piece of redstone dust on top of there a block on top of the redstone and if we come behind here what we’re going to do is are going to place two redstone

Repeaters so one there and one there so it should be feet they should be both facing towards this block over here then we’re going to get a sticky piston and what we want to do is place it on splick here so when it extends is actually going to grab this block over

Here we’re going to put a block under it and then one towards me but down one layer put a piece of redstone dust on there and then three this way now come back up to the top and what we want to do is get our pressure plate I want to

Place this on top of this furnace here so Crouch right click and I’ll place it on top and then to the left and right of this furnace down one layer we’re going to place a block there a block there get your redstone I’m going to place two

Pieces on those blocks and then what we’re going to do is place a block there block here and then we don’t need to put anything there now get your glass out because there’s going to be like your little side view for people to possibly watch in place two blocks there we’re

Also going to put two blocks in front like that and if we actually come in here now if we actually press that pressure plate you’ll notice that the this block here at the front will go up and if we hop off the pressure plate it will go down

So we’re going to put two blocks there and then here what we’re going to do is we are actually going to put one block there and get your button out and place that on top of that block now we need to dig a seven wide by six long buy it for

Deep hole so you want to come to the vacuum machine here and we dig out this first block and then what we’re going to do is dig one two three to the right and then one two three to the left now this way what we need to do is dig five more

Blocks so one two three four five and then you want to dig to the right here until we get in line with that over there and then dig straight ahead dig the center out and then we need to dig this down three more times plus the first layer second and then the

Third then you want to get your block of choice and at this end of this redstone here what we’re going to do is we’re going to place two blocks like that to the left and then three this way and then one up place redstone on top of all

Those blocks except for the last one here where we see these three blocks here place one in the middle and a piece of redstone dust there we’re also going to need to place one more block here and a redstone repeater going into that redstone now from this point over here

We’re going to go over four blocks so one two three and four and on the fourth one place a block down redstone on top of that and then we’re going to place a block in front of it block to the right and then also a block behind it we’re

Going to place a redstone torch on this face of the block there and then we’re also going to place one block here one block there and one block there redstone repeater and cover these top blocks here with redstone dust and we’re actually going to place a block on top of this

Redstone here so it doesn’t connect up a redstone comparator is going to go into this block here and then behind that redstone comparator we actually need to place a hopper and a dropper so the dropper you want to place on this block here technically facing to the left and

Then you want to put your hopper going into the front face of the dropper so make sure you’re crouching right click now come to this repeater over here and we’re going to place a block in front of it so Crouch right click and then we’re going to place one two three blocks

There redstone torch redstone dust and then a redstone repeater going this way and then we want to make that go into a block and at the end here on this side place a redstone torch a block on top of that and then redstone dust on top we’re going to do

That to the other side as well so torch there block on top and then a piece of redstone dust on top of that and you’ll see that we’ve kind of got these two blocks exactly the same on each side here and this is actually going to be

Powering the note blocks now come down into the guts here and what we need to do is place one block here and then get a redstone repeater and place it so it’s facing into the hopper now on top of the dropper here we’re going to place one

Block and then we’re going to get a redstone repeater face it going towards the back place a block in front of it then we’re going to place two blocks like that and then you can destroy the middle one and I’m going to place a redstone comparator going into that

Block as well now actually going to place a block to the left of that so you place a block here and then again you don’t need to have this block here and what we’re going to do is place a redstone comparator facing that way on block there and then two blocks down

Like that and then place three redstone dust like so now I need to give this comparator some sort of input so we’re going to place one block here and then we’re going to place one to the right of that and then we need to place two

Hoppers on them so place one down and then place one so it’s facing into that one and then we need to get this one back actually so let’s get that hopper back and then you want to place that so it’s facing into this one and basically this will create like an infinite loop

But we’re actually not going to make it do that what we want to do is place one more block here redstone there we’re going to get a redstone torch place it there and then block on top of that and then as you can see it’s powered and

This will actually stop an infinite loop now just place an item in there that stacks up to 64 if you don’t do an item that stacks up to 64 it could it will actually ruin the machine so make sure it isn’t a block like a dirt or 61 stick

Or something like that now on top of this block here we’re going to place a redstone torch block there block here and then get our last sticky piston and we’re going to place it facing upwards block on top of that then we place two blocks to the right here and then two

Blocks coming towards the front and then same on this side two blocks there place one block here redstone repeater coming out of this block here two redstone repeaters there an extra one there and set this tick delay of this one over here to three ticks so initially that’s one two three

Now when you place three blocks here so I’m just going to place one above the button and just get some of this cobblestone put two there and then place your last three redstone dust on top of those blocks when you get a redstone repeater and place one going into that

Block there and then we want to place a dispenser so if we just come down here it’s going to be a really tricky angle to get this but you should be able to do it if we actually okay it doesn’t look like we might be how to do it if we

Actually just know this is going to be really hard to get all right so what you need to do is place one redstone torch there and then get your dispenser I’m going to place it right there so it’s facing towards us and then we also want

To place one here facing down now we are kind of stuck let’s actually see if we can avoid that oh there we go so place one dispenser there facing down and then the other one over there then place a block on top of this redstone torch in this hole here

And then one redstone torch on this front face and that will be powering this dispenser here now my mistake what you’re actually going to do is break these two redstone repeaters here break these two blocks below or break the blocks below them I’m going to place two hoppers so that

Hopper going into there this hopper going into that hopper and then do that on the other side as well and then get out two chests and I’m going to place one on this left one and then one on this right one and this is basically allows you to refill this dispenser a

Lot easier and then get our redstone repeaters going to place one there and one there now we need to do the note block so come down to the side here now this one here is the one that gets played when we lose so what we need to

Do is place or get out okay our planks out and our note blocks and what we’re going to do is place one tank there one there and then one at the end going a place blocks in between them note block on top of the planks and then two redstone repeaters in between facing

Towards the front now do this on the other side as well so one two and three blocks in between note blocks on top of them and then the redstone repeaters in between facing to the front now this is the losing one so we want this to be

Kind of a do to Doon so what you want to do is we’re going to right-click this one here up to 8 so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 and that will be like dude didn’t whereas the winning one we want it to be

A did it in so what we’re going to do is go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 and 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 I think that’s right I haven’t got my headphones on now the last thing that we’re going to do is properly love a bucket into the top dispenser here then we can get our blocks and just simply cover around that

Just so it looks a little bit more like a chamber now come around the back here and what we’ve got to do is actually configure the machine and this is where you can decide what the charm answers that you will actually die open up the dropper and what we want to do is

Place in one non stackable items such as a diamond pickaxe and then what we can do is set the chances of actually being burnt so right now we will always get burnt if we put in an item and it has to be an item that can stack up to 64 such

As dirt here we’re going to put in one of them and now we’ve got a 50% chance because droppers dispensed at random so it’s either going to drop the pickaxe here or the dirt into this hopper here so if the pickaxe was to go in would get

Burnt but if the dirt was to go in then we would actually get released and we can walk out of the machine so that is a 50 50 percent chance now we can actually reduce the chance of getting burnt if we add another item and again it has to be

Up to 64 and it has to be different to the last one so we can’t add another piece of dirt we’re going to add a unique item in so if you put iron bars in now it’s a one in three chance that we’ll that we will get burnt in the

Machine and there’s more likely that you will actually get out of the machine now again we can increase it even more so again another unique item such as fence here and it also has to stack up to 64 so if we put one of them in now it is a

One in four chance and then a one in five chance so we can just keep adding as much as we want now again you can add in another non stackable item so this would this here would technically be a fifty fifty percent chance because we’ve got two non stackable items and we got

Two stackable items up to 64 so this is a 50/50 percent chance you wouldn’t have to do that you would simply just have these two in there because it is exactly the same but you can configure this however you want I’m just going to have

The 50 50 percent chance now we need to come up the top here and actually forgot to put this back you want to make sure this is on a three tick delay if it’s not it’s actually going to break your machine and you’re not going to like the

Outcome because the lava won’t get dispensed back into the dispensary or it won’t get pulled back into the spencer and it’s going to spread everywhere in a ruin your machine so make sure that you put that repeater back onto a three tick delay last thing that we’ve got to do is

Actually fill this dispenser with arrows so what you can do is I’m just going to go into game mode see get out some arrows and then you can put them in these chests on the side and that’s why I’ve actually added them into the machine so you can easily refill that

Dispenser up so we’re going to test out the machine now I’m just going to quickly just pop these materials over here just so we don’t actually lose them because I’m going to need them in a second so let’s go into the machine all right so we’re logged in now and let’s test

Our chances so as I can figured it is it is a 50 50 percent chance they will get out so let’s press it oh no we got bad luck we’re going to die now so as you can see we’re getting shot by the arrows and we’re also burnt from the lava no it

Got us again no hat press it no again I’ve got really bad luck now alright I feel it today not oh my god I’m getting really bad luck all right come on no it’s gonna be now it’s gonna be now too many times yay there we go we were lucky enough to

Get out that time so there we go that just proves that it is working so we’re at that point in the video where I’m gonna explain how the mini game actually works so let’s start here so we walk into the chamber here and what we do is set off this pressure plate there’s

Pressure plate powers this red stain down here and if we go down inside these powers those two redstone repeaters which then powers that block powers this redstone powers that redstone repeater and then powers this piston which then pushes that block up and traps us inside the contraption and then the only way

You can get is by proceeding and pressing that button now when we press that button that activates this redstone repeater which goes into that block powers is comparator even more which then powers this redstone down below and then powers this dropper now this dropper dispenses an item into this hopper over here now

Because the dropper dispenses at random and I’ve already kind of explained this we have a fifty fifty percent chance here say if the pickaxe was to go in we would get burn if the dirt was to go in we would get released so if the dirt

Went in it would only power run redstone signal say the signal goes and comes from this comparator here because we’re comparing the item inside and we power this red stain down below here and that actually powers this block that the torch is on so the torch turns off which

Then turns off this red state redstone signal here retracts this piston and because the power can no longer continue down here and power this piston and the piston comes down and we get set we will we get released also over here and because this redstone here gets turned

Off from that torch this torch comes on and then activates the successful tune so that’s what happens when you win now if you lose and that happens when the pickaxe here goes into the hopper the pickaxe can only stuck to one and that means as a higher power level like for

When you compare it with a comparator so it means it’s going to power a lot more so it’s going to power all the Redstone AC at the top here so it’s going to power this redstone repeater which then turns off this torch turns off this redstone allows this torch under here to

Come on and that activates the unsuccessful tune also this torch here gets turned off and turns off this redstone here which then starts activating this hopper clock here and this produces a signal which then comes up to the dispenser here and fires the arrows out we also have this torch

Here which turns on and then this activates this redstone repeater and this here is a half tick pulsar so it will send out a quick pulse of redstone and then this here basically just activates this dispenser here so you’ll activate it once to dispense the lover

And then over here activate it again to pick the lava back up so hopefully understood how that works I didn’t want to explain it to you in depth just because this video is getting quite lengthy and I didn’t want to make it any longer now this video is getting
