Insane Villager Trading Hall! EPIC Minecraft Build – #5

what is going on guys welcome on back to the let’s play world I’m just taking a quick little walk through the custom cave we built last episode and man I am so happy with how this thing turned out the nether portal could use a little bit of work but I think it’s actually a pretty good location and also some of you guys were saying there’s some iron up here I need to harvest I don’t see where the iron is you know I don’t like when you guys lie to me obviously I see the iron we’re going to leave it there for aesthetical reasons and once I got silk touch on a diamond pickaxe we’re going to put some diamond ore in these walls also the more detail the better besides that thank you guys so much for all the love and support you guys have been showing me on this series I hope you guys are enjoying it just as much as I am and obviously don’t forget to subscribe and smash that like button okay let’s get on with today’s episode up up up up up so in between episodes I spent a little while getting this whole storage room organized and man does it take forever I’m only having to go from the starter house over to here which is like a 70 block walk but it still took me like an hour I don’t know if it took longer to get the items over here or just to figure out how to organize them although thanks goodness mojing added the ability to edit signs because the amount of times I decided to change the location of something or edit a sign or even add something well it was a lot so thank you Mojang for that one besides that some of my tools are really really low on durability right now and I don’t have a lot of diamonds to fix it which means it’s time for a strip mining session wait I I need torches real quick and I probably also want to grab my fortune pickaxe which is in the tools chest right there I I’m still getting used to the storage room it’s it’s going to take some time and then the Torches are in the mid I’m also just going to craft some more because I can yeah I think about five Stacks is plenty enough now that I have plenty enough torches we can take the super fun Minecart ride all the way down to the bottom of the world I know it took forever to get all the iron and gold together to build this thing but it was so worth it I mean like just check out this part look how cool this is I do need to come through and widen all this out and also detail it because right now it’s it’s a little plain and we’ve arrived at the bottom so I think I’m just going to dig the first Tunnel right here all these holes are from when we first dug this out and I did that little mining session anyways let’s get to [Music] digging I cannot wait till we get to the point where I don’t even have to worry about diamonds but it is fun doing a lot of strip mining cuz it really only happens in the early game once you start exploring the end and all the abandoned cities underground you start to get diamond tools like they’re going out of style so I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts besides that I started by digging off to the left side until I realized there’s a giant lava pool in my way so after a few tunnels I made my way over to the right side luckily there was no Lava over here can you guess how many diamonds I got from digging all of that area out zero none nothing I didn’t get a single diamond and I have to go back up to the surface too because my inventory is pretty much full I did get a good amount of redstone lapis and gold and also some iron which doesn’t matter too much cuz I do want to build an iron farm today but either way no diamonds which is the one thing that I’m like really really looking for a quick little little drop off of all the Deep slate let’s put some of the Redstone away and all the other goodies and now I can just head all the way back down yay me okay so so we’re off to a good start I’ve dug three tunnels and we got we got diamonds hopefully there’s a good amount of them this is my fortune yeah that’s my fortune oh we got three four how many did we get that okay we got seven from that is there any more hiding no I I don’t think there is fill this all back in and keep on digging hopefully that’s the start of many n oh we got more diamonds we got diamonds dig these bad boys out no no that was not just one there’s no way okay there’s two oh yep always check for more nope there’s a third is there a fourth can we find a fourth did I just I did not just use my non Fortune pickaxe to harvest those I think I may have and we got iron I love Iron wait which one is the tunnel this is the tunnel after digging a few more of the 1×3 tunnels I decided to change things up and go with a different mining method the one I’m doing I don’t really have a name for and I’m sure other people do it but I’ve done it many times in the past and usually it seems to work so I thought it was worth giving it a try especially since my diamonds so far have been pretty dry I never know which mining method is the best let me know down in the comments below of what you guys like to do and maybe I’ll give it a try cuz obviously I’m not very good at it um we we might need to find a different place to do strip mining so far this has not gone well at all and I have a full inventory again I did find some Redstone which is behind me and a little bit of lapis which is in one of these if I can find it yep there there’s the lapis right there oh yeah and also I I did find some of that stuff that’s not as important though let’s Harvest this lapis along with the Redstone oh is that that’s a full inventory I’m just going to throw out some deep slate cuz I don’t need anymore I guess a little more too now how many diamonds are right here this is the fortune one okay we got one oh we got two three is there a fourth anywhere nope it’s just three but now we’re up to 17 okay that was good we got seven from three and I think I’m going to call it quits down here cuz my inventory like I said is full again and we got projects to work on today and Mining is definitely not one of those hey at least I get to take this mine cart back to the top and by the way it like barely makes it up to each one of these powered rails look at this it’s so slow thank goodness it worked though cuz I am like all out of gold using the diamonds we just collected I can make my way over to the starter house and go into the Anvil to repair my diamond axe completely along with my diamond shovel oh that hurt I’m already down to 13 diamonds I lost seven just from doing these fixes and I realized after the fact I could have just you know crafted another diamond shovel and combined them together so I wasted two diamonds well it’s in the past now so I’m just going to forget about it I I will never ever forget about that okay so it’s been a little while since I’ve been on Minecraft if you can’t tell from my voice I I got a little sick but I’m finally feeling good enough to get back to the Grind what were we doing again okay taking a look at what I just edited we went mining to fix all the tools and I also want to build an iron farm which I did remember that part now when it comes to building an iron farm we’re first going to need to find some villagers which are in a village luckily I do know know where a village is and it happens to not be too far away just a couple hundred blocks Yonder but first I’m going to sleep so I don’t die by any mobs this might be one of the most fun things in the game to do boats on ice is so cool okay now I’m just hitting drifts need to go this way up aim oh this is so difficult but I’m I’m I’m working it I’m working it I’m pretty sure this is the fastest way of traveling is that an igloo I think that is an igloo nope nope nope not in the water not in the water oh I went in the water and I’m pretty sure this is not an igloo I don’t know why I thought it was I think it’s just a a chunk of ice okay back there way cuz I think I made a wrong turn yeah we need to go that way holy cow this is so difficult yep there’s the village there’s the village I’m I’m moving way too fast let’s let’s get rid of the boat and make our way over to this thing to check if there actually is any villagers okay no villager in there what about in here where’s the front door nope none in there maybe they’re up on top of the hill is there one in here no there is a chest up that oh yay I’m so excited for Flint come on there’s got to be some villagers in this Village are they up at the top let’s ring the bell see if anyone comes oh oh there they are oh they always get stuck in these things that’s so funny okay so we for sure have four villagers cuz there’s two baby ones and two adult ones is there any more I do not think so but there’s a horse what a buddy I really don’t want to build the iron farm this far away and I also need to build a villager breeder that I also don’t want to be this far away from base luckily I should be able to get these guys in the boat come on you can walk out of there you can walk out of there just right into the boat right into the boat oh okay come on just right into the boat oh you want to go that way okay okay we’re going to we’re going to be difficult I get it now what if I went like oh NOP I still can’t get in I broke this no where you go okay I got one of them push you into it come on right right there okay I’m going to have to get rid of this then since you’re so amused by it that is not what I wanted them to do okay now I got to break the boat and when you guys go into this let me get you out of here before the other one gets in yeah we’re going to leave you right there don’t don’t go anywhere and now I’m just going to try and pick up your friend come on come on you can get oh perfect okay we got NOP no no we got the other one now I’m going to leave you here I’ll be back in a few minutes don’t don’t you go anywhere luckily this should be a pretty quick Journey because it’s an ice River pretty pretty much the whole way and thank goodness you do not take damage in boats I can’t see where am I right this way and I need to make sure not to fall into any holes that oh no give my boat give me my boat where’s this guy going to walk to and he walks the opposite way of the boat come on just okay we got him back in it we got him back in it I’m going to try to be more careful this time now I’m just going to leave this guy here for the time being which we’re right behind the little farming Island and I’m going to go back and get the other villager cuz I need two to make a villager breeder which makes sense okay you were good you were not so good you guys just love to make my life difficult okay where we going where are we going no not back up on the roof okay perfect that that actually worked that worked quick pit stop I’m just going to steal this real quick and avoid the pathway cuz that’s how I get stuck and we can drop off villager 2 with villager 1 no I’m not holding you hostage stop saying that no I said I wasn’t this is a non- arguable agreement stop saying you’re hostages okay I’ll be back now that we have the two villagers we can get started on building this villager breeder I just need to go get some resources real quick and then we’ll be good to go okay I’m going to hate myself for this this but I think I’m going to build the Villager breeder up in our cave I was going to build it all the way down there where they are currently located but instead I’m going to build it right here yes I I did already start it part of the reason is I do want to start filling in this thing completely and the more things I build outside of the cave means less things I can build inside of the cave because there isn’t really a point to have two villager breeders within 100 blocks of each other anyways you guys have seen me build plenty of these before so let’s throw it into a time lapse first things first I obviously did not Design This Farm because when it comes to Redstone and this kind of stuff I’m not very good at it so I just went over to YouTube and found one by real Jaden that seems easy enough for me to build and also isn’t going to take too long honestly a lot of these villager breeders are all pretty similar you have one section for the villagers to harvest crops and then a section for the baby villagers to fall down and then a collection area where you send mine carts through to pick up the big villagers besides that I just built this mostly going back into the Hillside and then I’m going to have a tunnel come around the side of it where the villagers are going to come through and I can grab them for right there later we’re going to add a part where we can have a zombie actually zombify the villagers and then when we use them for trades they’re going to be really really cheap to trade with and just like that the easy part’s complete now you’re probably wondering why why am I calling this the easy part well we’re still missing one very crucial component to this villager breeder and well that that that’s the villagers which are all the way down this mountain keyword Mount now I could use the method where I just take a tool station and try to slowly make their way up here by placing one down and then breaking it and then placing one down or instead I can just get a bunch of Minecart rails and make a railway coming all the way up here which I’m going to going to do the second one luckily I do have a little bit of gold that I’m smelting up right now so I can make some powered rails and I also have plenty enough rails to make this whole Railway I’m just going to need loads of dirt if I can remember where I put that I’m like completely out of dirt I don’t even know how that happens oh nope I want that real okay while the gold smelts up I’m going to collect up a little bit of dirt or hopefully I have some in the chest all the way down there luckily there was some grash in those chest so that should be enough I just want to check on the villagers Yep they’re still doing good and I also actually want to get them just a tad closer to the mountain itself right here should be good enough I’m going to grab the second [Music] one and then using the grass I just grabbed from the chest I’m going to start making a staircase going all the way up the [Music] mountain now with all of the dirt placed in I can start placing in the rails but first I want to check something are mine cart furnaces still a thing oh I think they okay that’s going to make my life actually a lot easier because if I grab a few pieces of iron actually do I have any nope I have no mine carts if I grab a few pieces of iron I can make three mine carts in total and then I can make a furnace and make one of these bad boys and then if I grab some coal from that furnace I should be able to use this as the propulsion method to get the villagers all the way up here which is going to save me a bunch of [Music] gold that was literally the perfect amount of rails I have one left over all right besides that let’s go test this whole furnace mine cart thing cuz I have a feeling it’s going to be easier said than done okay I really don’t want to look in that Ender’s eyes especially while I’m up on the sky Bridge okay I’m now just going to break this boat and please go in the mine cart please please no no no don’t go the other way just go that way yep okay we got him we got him I just got to push him right back onto this rail a little bit just right there and then I can place that down and then if I feel it okay it’s working oh yeah this seems to be working much better than I anticipated I just should have crafted two of those furnace mine carts so I didn’t have to run all the way back up here boom this guy is in position and now I can just run this all the way back down and do it one more time okay I have no idea how that just happened but I think there is a mine cart within the boat villagers are literally the worst mob in the game to deal with going to push you right up onto that and then I’m just going to push you into the mine cart get in if I push it this way it’s going to pick him up nope no okay we’re good we’re good we’re good give you just a little push back on grab some coal and let it go and just just like that we have both villagers in place and I should be able just to break that mine cart and then break that mine cart and slowly back my way out of here and also place the potatoes back in as I do that place the glass in get rid of that trap door and place the glass there and we got both villagers in that actually was not that hard to do come here come here come here come here give me an ender pearl please I got looting you should besides that I should be able to speed up this process actually a little bit if I throw a bunch of potatoes in here about 2 and 1 half stacks should be plenty enough enough come on show me the hearts perfect I don’t see a baby villager oh my goodness that took forever oh the baby villager just fell down there but I had to do a bunch of fixing and changing because every time these guys would show Hearts one of them would then end up showing the angry stuff although after adding a little bit more space in here it seems they’re wanting to breed now oh yeah and I also threw them like five stacks of potatoes which luckily that worked because I would have been really bummed if it didn’t all right besides that this isn’t looking so good right now and I can’t really start on the iron farm because I need to wait for these guys so in the meantime I’m going to start cleaning up this area I also think I’m going to turn this tunnel into something a little bit like that because I can and it looks really cool I’ve spent a little while collecting up some resources to detail the structure but night time is beginning to fall and I want to try doing something as I said earlier I want to get myself a zombie so we can zombify the villagers and then get really good trades so I got myself a helmet in a boat and hopefully a zombie spawns pretty close by I don’t necessarily have a place for him to go just yet but I rather get this part over with hope we got creepers right there oh thank goodness I have knockback look how nice it is to have knockback when you’re fighting creepers okay perfect we got a zombie right there now we do want this guy to pick up the helmet cuz then it will act a little bit like a name tag all right that guy is definitely not going to take the helmet so I might as well just kill him okay there’s another right there come on buddy pick the helmet up this guy is also not going to pick it up this really shouldn’t be that hard but it kind of is that’s a skeleton this is where knockback isn’t so good but luckily I can take those guys out in one hit oh I hear a baby zombie oh no these guys are the devil okay I got them pretty easily okay finally I got two zombies with me oh I got three hopefully one of these guys will pick that up someone’s got to come on how did not a single guy pick that up right there come on someone and that is exactly why I wanted to try doing that even though I didn’t quite need the zombie yet because I went through about eight zombies and not a single one picked up the helmet I ended up realizing that it might just be easier to trade my way up with the librarian villager all the way to their Max because I’m pretty sure they sell name tags when you do Max them completely out that does mean I’m going to need a lot of sugarcane for paper so I gathered all of mine and made the entire Coast into a giant sugarcan farm while all the sugarcane grows in I think I’m actually going to head up to the Villager breeder and AFK for a little bit and hopefully we can get about 10 to 15 villagers I wish I had a mine cart with me it would make it so much easier to get all the way up this one day and lots of research later I think I have an idea also we have like lots and lots of villagers like more than I’m going to need for quite a while okay besides the villagers you guys are probably wondering what this idea is well if I can get a zombie into a boat the zombie shouldn’t despawn also the zombie should be able to attack villagers which means they’re going to be zombified which in turn me wait that that what are you doing in here you’re not supposed to be in here dude it is so nice having Smite four okay what was I saying okay I can turn the zombie villager back into a villager and get really cheap trades which means I can get lots of name tags for all the zombies I’m going to need for this iron farm although before I can actually go hunting for a zombie I’m going to need to wait for it to be come night time wait time out there happens to be a zombie right there so if I can be smart about this and Tower my way up oh that’s not good oh ouch ouch ouch it’s a terrible idea got to take this guy out okay so here’s what I need to do collect up a few more blocks and I can build a little bridge for this guy come here and right into the boat okay we’re doing good ow oh oh oh God I’m going to die okay so now this guy shouldn’t despawn I just got to make sure not to put him under any sunlight you know what are the chances he actually does pick up the helmet you know you want to come on it’s right there okay I really don’t think he’s going to I’m just not getting lucky today with all this okay I’m just going to leave him there for now and I actually did he just turn the boat when could zombies do that okay I’m going to get to work on cleaning this area up a little bit so we have a spot to actually put that guy when it comes to designing this trading Hall I want it to have a very similar look to the mine building I want to have the main structure off to the right side and then a tunnel entrance leading into a longer tunnel where all of the technical stuff is going to happen so first off I started with the archway for this tunnel which is going to be a little bit taller and wider than the one on the mine because I don’t want them to look too similar besides that I also cleared out a bunch more room because I think this whole trading Hall thing is going to take up quite a bit of space when it came to the block palette I mainly just stuck with Spruce and I’m also going to use some coarse dirt and rooted dirt for the floor so yeah it’s going to be quite a brown building although I think there is going to be spots in the future where I can add in little pops of color and this is where I’m I’m at I’ve started setting up some of the minecart rails because there is going to be a process to zombifying these villagers right here where this powered rail is this is where I’m going to give the Villager their trades so the crafting table or composter or whatever it might be will go right there once I find a trade I like and I trade with them to lock that in I’ll hit a button which is going to go right there and it will send them over to the Villager and then each one of these tunnels that aren’t dug out yet is going to be little holding cells for the villagers I got to make sure those guys are safe trust me I I know from experience so continuing on with this project I need to design this little area where the zombie going to go first off by digging out a couple blocks that should be perfect and then I actually want to grab a little bit of tough and Cobblestone and I think I’m going to texture this whole little room out with that oh hello there buddy I forgot about you just got to grab some tough real quick which is in this chest and I’m also going to put some of the Moss away because I don’t really need it and do I have any lanterns I feel like I should oh yeah I got plenty of lanterns with this area for the most part finished up I can now go grab the zombie which isn’t going to be the easiest thing in the world because I do need to break the boat grab it and then have this guy follow me over here come on you’re almost there buddy get him as close as possible so I don’t take a ton of damage in the boat with him I’ll place the boat right there come on there we go then I just need to turn the boat okay he does a lot of damage very quickly all right I got all my health Health back oh come on I just need it to turn just like that just like that just right there okay get me out of here okay so that should work I do actually want to grab a mine cart real quick to test that okay so if I just hop in this can I hit the button yep I can get it okay that is not what I wanted to happen which means I need to get this zombie a little bit further back well I I’m trying to think the best way to do this you know I think I’m actually just going to go Harvest all that sugarcane and try trading with a librarian villager up to a name tag and now with all of my sugar cane collected I just need to make myself one Lecter which is right there oh you know oh I just realized something I need a I need a potion of weakness in order to do this and I have yet to go to a blaze spawner okay change of plans because I don’t think I have enough time to do that so I’m going to try giving this guy a sword or a helmet again give me the boat give me the boat come on you know you want to hold one of them you know you want to come on just grab it grab it come on why won’t you grab anything okay I’m going to put him back in the boat and I’m going to leave him there for now and I’m going to see if I can actually get him in a mine cart if he still won’t despawn so it turns out they won’t despawn if they’re in a minecart and this might actually work so I’m just going to break the boat again and try to get this guy into here come on into the mine cart into the mine cart into the mine cart come on oh why won’t you get in the mine cart I’m just going to put it right there come on come right up here right up here why won’t he get in the mine cart okay this is proving to be very difficult I don’t know why he won’t get inside of it oh there we go okay okay that wasn’t that hard actually so I just need to grab all of these rails and set up a little pathway coming right I you know how am I going to do this let’s say right to there give them a little push push the mine cart a little bit more into the corner and now I need to go grab one more mine cart okay so now I’m just going to run this test again so if I put the mine cart there and I hit the button will the mine cart go all the way no it won’t okay what if I did it this way will the mine cart go oh yes it will okay that works that works so if I replace this with a powered rail I grab one button put it right there do that hit the button okay and then if I hit this button all right that is exactly what I want next up human trials so put this right there hit the button I go the whole way and then if I hit it I leave okay that is perfect now we just need to do something about this cuz I really don’t want the Villager to end up right back here but I do have a solution if I grab myself a little bit of iron and red stone and make one pressure plate wait I still need to craft that let’s try this again Redstone pressure plate and iron it gets a detector rail a detector Rail and then if I place it right here and then put a rail right there it should change the direction of the way it’s going okay so let’s try this hit the button wait did wait wait no that wasn’t supposed to happen okay maybe I need to come back a little bit like that okay I’m going to be completely honest that took me so long to figure out there is like a whole room down here with some stuff going on but I suck at Redstone so it took a while it’s okay okay though it’s now finally working and the way it works is the detector rail which is right here Powers this Redstone which then Powers this repeater which then dewers this torch and Powers this torch once again I suck at Redstone so if that isn’t the most efficient way nor is it very good I’m sorry either way I might as well show you guys that it works so I come down here villager gets zombified I hit this button and they get sent off this way and I’m going to have to build like four more of those Contraptions for each one of these rooms well enough talking and let’s get to finishing this thing up now when it came to detailing this portion out I wanted to keep it pretty simple because I think in the future I might change things up a little bit I’m not sure the exact range of a splash potion and I want to keep it as efficient as possible so yeah there’s a pretty good chance I might come back through and change this out next episode or the following one oh and also if you couldn’t tell already we’re not building the iron farm today I want to save that for another time because I think it would be really cool to build some Overkill iron farm that gets us thousands of iron per hour and just like that this place is looking a whole lot better not only did I finish detailing the inside but I decided to come out and do a little bit of detailing on the outside just because if I don’t do it now I’ll probably never do it anyways I think it’s looking really cool the only thing that I would change is I might add a second story right here but that is going to have to wait because I am all out of time for today’s episode next episode we’re going to be in the nether a lot because we need to go get some blaze rods so we can zombify some villies and when I say villies you know I mean villagers so thank you guys so much for watching today’s episode don’t forget to
