Hey there lego minecraft fans i just wanted to do a quick video to show off this uh display stand i built for showing off all my lego minecraft mobs uh i built this about a month ago to get ready for brick world chicago where i had this on display And let me walk you through it so this is something i built pretty quickly i just wanted a way to display all the different scales of mobs that i’ve done for minecraft if you’re new to this channel uh you can see how to build everything that’s on display here um On the different videos i’ve done on how to build lego minecraft creations there’s links in the descriptions to everything i’m showing here so uh as you all know i’ve done minecraft mobs in four different scales so i made four different tiers here started with a green base plate and then Just built up with a bunch of bricks the reason i chose green is because i’ve got a lot of these like big base plate size sort of uh bricks in green um only bad thing about green is that the creeper kind of blends in so i might rebuild this in Dark gray because i’m gonna need to expand this since it’s already full and i’ve got more minecraft mobs to build in the future so i didn’t put these in any particular order i started with steve and the creeper over here and then just sort of went down Uh so we got steve the creeper the villager the pig the zombie my enderman the skeleton and the wither skeleton the zombie pig man the wither boss and down here at the end my most recent one the spider i’ve got more mobs i’m going to be Building in the future so i’m going to need to expand this but for right now it’s a nice way to show off all the different mobs i’ve built at all the different scales so on the stand i built there wasn’t really a place for my nether portals or my grass blocks So for the main thumbnail for this video i just sort of lined them up i put the nether block sort of floating in the air there using some transparent bricks and some plates for stability at the bottom and just put the grass block sitting in front the other things that i couldn’t fit Onto the display are my gast and ender dragon because they are huge so for my guests i have them all floating above a red base plate i thought that was a nice little thing that references the nether where they live again i’m using more of those transparent pieces to hold them up Sometimes when i’m feeling up to it i will put some fireballs floating in front of them also using transparent pieces so it actually looks like they’re doing their job and shooting fireballs at steve now what’s what’s a gas noise that’s kind of a fireball gas noise right And then for my ender dragon i have them just on a big giant gray base plate um slightly suspended in the air using some of those transparent pieces when i had this on display at brickworld i had the dragons higher in the air but for displaying at home that becomes a little Precarious when i’m trying to move it around so i kept them lower to the ground just last night i was trying to move this into position to take a photo of it and i dropped the whole thing on the ground so that’s when i moved them less precariously So the transparent piece i’m using to elevate all my things there the nether portals and the gas and the ender dragons it’s just this 1 by 2 by 2 uh transparent clear panel or window piece uh i got a whole pick a brick cup full of them one time At picka brick that’s what pickabook is great for getting one piece and getting you know a few hundred of them in one go so uh it’s a great piece you could also use regular transparent bricks if you want to do something like that uh yay for transparent pieces So uh as far as the construction of this base if you’re interested it’s really just a a few lego base plates in green um so this is a 16 by 32 base plate and then i’ve just stacked regular bricks on top but in the back i’m using a lot of duplo Bricks to actually fill in the spaces in the back so that’s one thing if you didn’t know that uh duplo bricks can actually connect to the bottom of regular lego bricks and vice versa if they’re the right size uh let me pull that open there so you can see Duplo um and you know there’s a lot of hollowness in the end but that’s where i just used these really big green uh base bricks i guess you’d call them since they’re not base plates to go across the top and uh yeah just regular bricks down the front So yeah that’s all i did to build this little display stand here so this is the shelf where i keep my minecraft display uh it doesn’t normally have this big light on it but i wanted to try and light it up a little bit since it’s in a Corner so i’ve got all my mobs here in the front grass block on the side delorean nether portal and then i’ve got my four little micro mob official sets in the back there so i’m gonna probably have to move to a bigger shelf soon but uh Right now it’s a nice little way to display all my minecraft stuff uh so then i’ve got my gas display on my metal shelf over here surrounded by cloud cuckoo land and she lob random assortment of things up here and uh on top i’ve got the ender dragon Because that was the only place i really had space for right now i might rearrange my minecraft stuff to put it all in one place in the future but for right now i’ve got these few little spots around the room to display off all my minecraft mobs hey and there’s the ghostbusters capturing Slimer so i hope you enjoyed this video so i hope you enjoyed this video talking about my minecraft mobs on display if you haven’t already make sure to watch the how to build videos on how to build each of the different minecraft creations that i’ve made Let me know in the comments what you want to see in the future right now i think the iron golem is winning the race for the next minecraft creation i’m going to build so look for that in the next month or so and keep on watching the nightly news at 9. Oh i’m not so good at the minecraft noises Video Information
