To all the geeks and nerds out there welcome back to another episode on the legacy smp server as you can see i am floating extremely slowly above the base now this is good because we can have a good look around and see what’s going on there’s the new build from slicer the

Citadel of power uh he is now banished of course but so yeah we’ll talk about that later i guess but over here you can see i’ve added uh one smart minor thing here is the two beacon beams uh in the center of the of the of the

City and they go all the way down there down to bedrock pretty much and that’s where we’ve got a beacon mine i’m going to set up to get to get mining so the theme for today is lots of mining to get advancement of course we need to retain our spot at the

Top we’re still currently top as i recall this that might change during the course of the episode of course but yeah so in terms of mining we’re going to do some in the overworld plus the nether so for the overall side of things if we get a stack of diamond

Blocks we will get another advancement so we’ve got quite a lot of diamonds to find so we’ll do that there’s also a whole bunch of advancements for getting netherrite of course we’re fully in the diamond category at the moment don’t have anything in the right at all but there’s something like 10

Advancements we can get through through obtaining netherright so we’ve got a lot of ancient debris to find so that’s that’s what we’re going to do as well in the nether so hopefully that’ll go down go down pretty well now to get down to the mines there’s no good way just yet

There’s a couple of holes but so what i want to do is have some nice nice easy ways up and down a drop and also a bubble elevator to take us down to our beacon mines that can be down there and as we expand the area we can add more beacons so we’ll

Get plenty of effects around the base so that’s the plan all right let’s get down to the mining area and get down and get mining Foreign Um After grinding away for many hours in an attempt to get some diamonds i have excavated a lot of this area not i mean not this over here look this is my second uh beacon i’ve just set up to expand the hotel area but look at this area i’ve been excavating it’s pretty big

And it is well lit up as well look at all of this and i’ve also found a few slime chunks along the way so i spotted some slime spawning and yeah marks that marked it down with uh with these slabs to stop them spawning so i don’t get overridden with mobs so

Obviously make sure we keep it well lit as well but you can see i’ve been very busy down here and then here’s the resources i haven’t collected all of the stone and blocks and that kind of stuff i’ve collected you know a bunch of stuff so there’s a

Bunch of cobble we’ve got hold of and we’ve got some other bits and pieces of smooth stone when i’ve used my uh my silk touch some other bits and pieces too but the real stuff is in here this is what we’ve got so far so four and a half stacks of diamonds

Not too shabby we need nine stacks so we’re halfway there so that’s why i’ve set up another beacon but some other resources that are always useful as well so i’m gonna do a bit more mining so there’s my new beacon so we’ll get going with that

In a sec and then once we’ve done a bit more of that we’re gonna go over to the nether and start mining for some ancient debris because we need netherright there is a whole bunch of advancements for that but yeah just want to give you a progress update

Yeah let’s get mining this way to the mines let’s go and check it out so we’ve got a bubble column that will take us back up from the mines and there we’ve got a drop all the way down into some water now we’ve got slow falling and you probably saw

Uh we’ve also hit we’re also getting chicken noises whenever we we damage ourselves so if you missed last episode that is due to whoa hey guy it’s supposed to be safe down here yeah so that is due to the current event the current uh the current uh

Chaotic event on the server is that we’re basically chickens we have slow falling and if we get damaged we uh yeah we sound like a chicken so but yeah i’ve uh does more mining didn’t get too many more diamonds so not that too many more we’ve got to got

More but uh for all of that area i’ve cleared out we didn’t add too many to our haul but that is not too bad because i’ve spoken to slicedlime our partner in crime and i think between us we’ve probably got enough diamonds to make a stack of diamond blocks

Which is the advancement we’re after so i’ll collate all that stuff together and meet up with him a bit later i think but now i think it’s time to go over to the nether and find a good spot where we can start blasting for some ancient debris

I just started digging this tunnel and look what i found right in my path some nether right lots of near the right some ancient debris should i say there we go i don’t think there’s any more so a quick look around only one this time but that’s okay yeah just keep going

I’ve made it pretty much to the end of the tunnel i want to dig for now before we start placing tnt and we found another ancient debris let’s see how many there are looks like yeah it looks like it’s just a wanna that’s okay no problem there i’m happy with that

Now in terms of finding this ancient debris we are going to make some explosions we’re going to use tnt we’re not going to use beds i know beds are an option of course but it creates too much fire and mess and it’s a bit too dangerous for me so

Yeah we’re going to go with tnt so i’ve got it ready now i’ve got to just place it along this line and yeah start the explosions well that is a very welcome sight just as i entered the explosion area we’ve got a couple of engine debris right there

So i need to get my fire resistance potions out and yeah get mining the goods Um I’m back from the nether and i’m checking out some advancements we’ve got this one here to tame all the different types of cats where we’re going to get all those cats from well turns out i’ve got a cat farm i didn’t even know it it’s in my base so because we’ve got a

Whole bunch of villages there and some beds then cats will spawn and there’s one right here look at this so i’m just going to stand still hopefully this dude will come over to me i think i’ve already got this one but yeah you’ve got them tamed let’s check it out

Make any difference no it’s still got four to go all right so um these cats you know they can kind of live from here i guess kind of get taken care of you know anyway let’s check out our haul from the from our mining escapade so here we go

We’ve got a stack and a bit of ancient debris that is great stuff and also 40 uh diamond blocks so not quite enough for the advancement but i think if we can team up with lime we can do the dummy one differently and i think giving him a stack of engine

Debris will give him another advancement so that is good stuff now what’s next on the horizon well we’ve made a change to the data pack um for the advancements we’ve fixed a few things and also added this one back in a gluttonous diet we need a stack of all the foods

So i’ve been slowly working through all of these as you can see here now one of the things that’s missing here is a stack of poisonous potatoes so how are we going to deal with that well like we do with most things around here with technology

And a poisonous potato farm so how is this poisonous potato farm going to work well it’s pretty much a potato farm but with some added rails underneath that’s because when the when the farmers they’re going to be up here uh harvest the crops they obviously pick up the

Potatoes but they leave the poisoned potatoes on the floor so what we’re going to have here is just a hopper minecart running underneath all of the floor here and just going to have a couple of poison potatoes in here fill up the other slots with some other items

So the hopper minecart can only pick up the poisonous potatoes and we’ll leave the other potatoes for the farmers and we won’t have any kind of pickup systems any kind of hoppers or anything like that underneath this this will just run backwards and forwards and i can then come over here

Flip this lever and check the content so once we’ve got a stack then we’ve got enough for the advancement and that’s all we need we don’t need to have like stacks and stacks of these things so yeah just basically build up a uh a class a classic or a standard

Uh potato farm on top i’ve got a tutorial for this on my channel already i’ve made a couple of tweaks to it to make it a bit better but uh yeah on the whole pretty much the same as what i’ve got on my on my channel already so yeah let

Me just get this built up and i’ll show you how it works and here is most of the farm pretty much done so we need to plant some potatoes get a farmer in here and he’s going to do the harvesting and do all the work now over on this side

We’re going to have another villager over here who’s going to be hungry he won’t have any any food in his inventory and so this dude will see him and want to share some food with him try and throw some food to him but under but underneath here there’s a hopper and

Also a fence in between them so the the potatoes when they’re thrown will hit the fence and they’ll fall down into the hopper so the minor tweaks that i’ve made to my uh tutorial i’ve got my channel is i’ve put some trapdoors on this side to make sure this villager is uh far

Enough over because if he’s too far this side of the block then sometimes this dude won’t see him and won’t throw items towards him they’re too far away i’d also added some ice over here again to try and get these two closer together so when this dude comes over here

When he stops he’ll slide a little bit more as well so the heel that will make him a bit closer together as well then underneath just got this smart dropper system here so when an item goes into into the hopper it gets spat out here we can have a water stream that

Takes it over that way to some central storage so that is going to be pretty cool so just got to get the potatoes in get the farmers in place and then this will be ready to rock and roll it’s the logical geeker chicken everybody oh man this this this uh this current event

Is oh man the chicken noise is the slope of something it is it is something oh yeah i thought we could stop these events but yeah they’re still continuing i guess we just have to live with it but anyway how are you feeling now now that you’re back now that we’ve

Banished slicer how are you doing well you know i’m feeling a little too much like a chicken but other than that i’m i’m getting used to being in control you know i’ve just been watching basically yeah i saw this enormous build oh the citadel of power yeah check this

Out yeah come over here so out here you get quite a good view of it i mean it’s pretty ominous but it’s a yeah pretty nice i think what do you reckon yeah i mean you intend to keep it then um i think so yeah i actually i actually

Quite like it i mean it’s a bit of a contrast to the other builds but i think that’s quite nice in a way um yeah pretty cool well it is it is ominous indeed so if you want to keep it around i’m you know it wasn’t me but i’m kind of feeling a

Bit guilty about this why don’t i take that over and just go through and make sure that you know it’s safe in there and that it’s not going to cause any problems for you yeah that sounds good but listen i was thinking you don’t actually have an

Actual bass do you so why don’t you no i don’t why don’t you actually want it just move in why don’t you come in i guess you could do that so if you do that come in make sure this is all safe like you said move in move your stuff in

And then if you fancy building in quantum reach city then feel free you know it’s all good you can kind of add that to the skyline and yeah see where it goes that sounds really nice yeah awesome awesome sweet video yeah you know what what else is kind of annoying what’s that

You know i saw slicer build this and then he was very very very busy with it so now i’m all behind on the advancement space that is true i’ve noticed you are lagging behind but i think we can fix it i’ve got i’ve got something for you actually so yeah on that front

Follow me okay lyme i have something for you for these advancements i’ve been busy down in the mines and i’ve got 40 blocks of diamonds so yeah check these out what do you reckon that’s pretty nice and also pretty funny because i also have 40 blocks of diamond oh let me pick these

Up oh look at that let me let me put this back on the floor for you good sir let’s put those down there we go you should get something as well i guess nice so that’s that’s a lot of diamonds well so you know there’s another one that’s pretty difficult that i’ve been

Kind of working on it’s uh one for getting a stack of ancient debris and i have 48 of those already eight well i will raise your 48 because i have a stack already so a stack of ancient debris so check those out oh wow okay well well i’ll just take it yes

Awesome stuff with some stuff here have your have your overpowered stack back thank you so much for that yes that’s good it’s a bunch of advancements yeah awesome nice so also if you poke your head out here i’m working on a new one so this is for uh this is basically a

Poisonous potato farm i mean this potato farm that also collects the poisonous potatoes but that’s the next one because we need that for a gluttonous diet we need a stack of poisonous potatoes yeah i’ve seen that one it’s added back in that’s that’s pretty cool um i actually have a start on that

Already i have i think about a quarter of a stack of poisonous potatoes oh nice um the thing with that is it’s over at another project that i’m working on which i’m calling rabbit island because uh yeah you need a bunch of rabbit food for that one too right

Yeah that’s right that’s right i think i need the raw and also the cooked rabbit food to complete that yeah i need the same and uh i also still have one more rabbit to breed so i’m working on sort of a passive mob farming setup way over

Way over i found a good island for it so that’s what i’m working on and that’s where i left the poisonous potatoes so fantastic yeah all right that’s pretty cool all right so well i guess uh we’ll catch it back up when uh we have these projects a little bit further

Along and maybe we can get even more advancements yeah that’d be great i think it’s about time we uh we need to get back on the top of the table because we’re lagging behind a little bit but yeah it’s gonna be great yeah we really do

All right well i’ll talk to you later then okay just dude see you later i’ve used the villagers in our base to breed up a couple of babies so these are gonna be working in the farm so what i’ve done here is i’ve got a little walkway here boated them over

And up here i’ve added a couple of beds just temporarily just in here so they should hopefully pathfind to those and go up so uh that should make a bit easier to deal with these uh these babies so it’ll probably give them a little nudge and hopefully they’ll start walking up the stairs

There he goes and so the other one is going as well yep they should start going up and they’re probably bouncing on the beds yeah awesome very good let’s block this off so i can’t escape that’s it very good indeed and here is the farm all done we’ve got our farmer

Boy in there harvesting the potatoes as he needs to and yeah he’s gonna walk over to this dude at some point and share his potatoes so that is all good all set up ready to go got the water stream in place as well but of course we can’t leave it like

This we have to surround it in a building so it’s all nice and in keeping with the rest of the city and that is the next job And here it is here is our poisonous potato farm with the you know the byproduct of actual potatoes so yeah looking all right in keeping with the rest of the city i think and yeah what i tried to do here is i tried to uh make sure that the the villagers

Are actually on show as well so we can come over here and we can actually see them hard at work obviously depending on the time of day but yeah he doesn’t look like he’s doing anything at the moment but he was earlier he looked at his workstation yeah he’s

Probably gonna do some stuff and he’ll come over to his friend over here drop the chop the potatoes in that’s all good now of course we can see that the potato is going through here enough of this this bubble column right here and then over this way

We’ve got a little bit of storage so you can see the see the car see the potatoes go over here and then they’ll end up just down here it’s not been running very long but uh yeah we’re getting some potatoes and then the actual um

My car itself is not so easy to get to but we can just sneak in here and if i turn this off it will stop once it comes back and here we go we’ve got eight so that’s all right so we started with two we’ve got eight already

Yeah that didn’t take too long to do so i’ll leave that running and yeah i can afk here or while i’m building stuff in the city that will accumulate over some time next thing is some netherright as you’ve just seen a little clip of me creating a netherright block so we’ve got an

Advancement for that next thing to do is to create a whole bunch of tools and armor and then unfortunately we have to break them oh dear and so i’ve prepared some gear we’ve got some clean diamond gear over here all ready to go with some some another ingots for each one i’ve

Also got some efficiency books that’s for some of these tools to make it easier for them to break so we can do that i’ve got some i’ve got some neither right left over i think i do want to get some more but this is enough to do most of our

Tools there’s a couple of things we still need otherwise i think so i might go back to the nether and get some more nether at some point but i guess yeah let’s get these crafted up into netherright so we’ll get an advancement for that and then we can start breaking them and

I think we’ve got also attacks and mobs as well so a few easy ones to come yeah once we’ve got these things converted remember these two guys it’s time to clean up the mess around the coastline because we’ve got an advancement for hitting mobs with all the shovels

And all of the axes and the last ones to do are the the they’re the right one so let’s hit this guy yes and let’s get this guy as well yoink yes two more advancements all right so i’m back in the nether and i’ve decided

To try and get a bit more ancient debris because i think i want to do uh get all of my tools done and dusted but um oh excuse is this where you’ve been the whole time i haven’t seen you on set for ages what’s what what’s happening dude it’s gone

What’s wrong with your face i i’ve been here i feel like i’ve been here forever but i don’t know what logic where am i well we’re we’re in the nether i guess i guess you’ve been lost this whole time but it’s great to have you back listen high five [Laughter]

What was that what is happening right now well it’s the there’s been some changes some stuff’s happened so why don’t we get out of here and i can explain everything to you get me out of here dude how long have i been gone look how much you do what is that

Yeah well there’s a bit of a story to that a lot of stuff happened on the server recently so me and lime try to stop the celtic events they continued for quite some time um and it didn’t really go well so what happened was we built a contraption

Um sliced lime disappeared from the server and instead we got this other dude called slicer who built this citadel of power he tried to take over the server but we managed to banish him we had a big fight with him got rid of him um lime is now back which is great but

The celtic events are also continuing which is not too good let me let me show you what i mean but i don’t have wings on dude don’t worry about it all right you’re safe what is happening what is going on we’re all chickens we’re all chickens so yeah we’ve got

Opponents permanent slow falling and we sound like chickens whenever we take damage so yeah it’s uh so i can still but i can start okay i can [Laughter] oh logic i got to tell you my friend thank you so much for digging me out i

Still have all this work i want to do and i just been stuck in there but i’ll tell ya first of all that took like a week for me to land i’m behind you sit around it was there you are i am going to suit up i’m going to get

Back to work i can’t thank you enough i might even shave this ridiculous beard i got going on now you should leave it leave it it looks good it looks good you look kind of rugged i know that’s right i’ve been lost i’ve been lost and i’ve had this this beard

Has gotten out of control but i can’t thank you enough thanks for digging me out i’m gonna get back to work erase man catch you later after rescuing skids from the nether it’s time to get back to the advancements and we actually fixed some issues with our data pack which meant

That we got some advancements for completing the building tab the biomes tab the statistics tab and also the end tab so four more advancements now obviously that that gives it to us there will be some for uh team pp as well i guess and then after that i went exploring and

Found a wandering trader and that was another advancement that we got fixed getting spat on by wandering trader llama not very nice but gave us an advancement and then back at our makeshift cat farm here is i think the last cat we need so let’s give this guy some fish and hopefully

We should yes we got it a complete catalogue another advancement in the belly and now it’s time for the painful bit we need to break all our nether right gear so let me show you what we’ve got up to you can see i’ve got a hoe in my

Inventory there’s a bit used up but let me show you what i’ve been up to so on the nether tab over here the last one if you look through all of this it’s all complete apart from this last one here which is to use up a netherright hoe

So that will give us this one plus another one for completing the tab so two advancements for that and then on this tab over here the mining tab all of this is complete except for these three right here and basically this one here is to break all

The shovels so only near the right to go this one is to break all of your armor only the nether right stuff to go and this one is to break all the weapons and tools again just another right stuff left so and that would of course complete that tab as well so

A bunch of advancements to come now how am i breaking this uh all this stuff well there’s different ways of doing all the different things but for the hoe i’ve built this little machine so this is basically a piston feed tape with uh with dirt that goes all the way

Around so if i turn it on you can see it goes all the way around and i can just hold right click here as it goes past it will hoe the ground and then when it goes under the block next to it it will then turn back into

Back into dirt and then yeah just gotta wait here for that hoe to get completely used up and there it is the two more advancements as as expected very good indeed but as you saw there’s some crimson nilliam got placed i think that was a trophy so we got this uh

This uh trophy here the farmer’s badge and i think this was another one just popped in i placed it because i was holding down right click oh well i’ll still put it in the trophy cabinet but yeah on to breaking more netherright check out my new suit looks really swish

Doesn’t it look at this looks great unfortunately we can’t keep it he’s got to go how are we going to destroy it well we’re going to use our friend the cactus he’s going to hug a cactus and sound like a chicken non-stop There we are we did it we broke all our armor and uh yeah just about survived good job we got that beacon going with the regen that definitely helped out a lot next up it’s time to break all the tools and the weapons starting with the sword so i’m over the enderman farm

And i’ve been uh you know clicking away at these guys this is taking a very long time these netherright swords last forever so i’m gonna be clicking away for a bit like a bit while longer yet until this one breaks and now it’s time to work on the axe

Just by placing these blocks and breaking them again this will take a bit of time but hopefully we’ll get there soon and now it’s a similar story for the pick we got two blocks in the offhand holding down left and right click at the same time and just wait in until this

Pick is gone last but not least is the shovel i think once this is broken we should get three advancements one for breaking the shovels one for breaking all the tools and weapons and then one for completing the mining tab so fingers crossed is it works any minute now for these next three

Advancements there we go yes we did it three more on the board very good indeed Ah here they are very nice oh hey hey hello hi uh don’t worry i’ve got i’ve got something for you here oh take that like that it’s like these yes why thank you no problem no problem say um do you always just come rummage through stuff um not anyone’s stuff but yours

No that’s a rhino see you later after all that we got a lot of advancements in this episode and that has put us back on top we start the episode on top but as what always happens every single week as we finish the episode on top or as best i can

And then during the week pop-tart and pearl they do their streams all through the week and then take over first place again so managed to get a little bit of a lead here 11 points in front of second place so trying to try to get a bit of a bit of a

Buffer there but i know that uh team pp will probably come back and beat top but it’s by this time next week so make sure you check out uh poptart and uh pearl streams during the week i’ll put links in the description to their channel

They get up to a lot of stuff and yeah they are fools to be reckoned with without any doubt you didn’t think we’d finish the episode without getting another idea did you of course not we’ve converted all of our diamond stuff into netherright using those remaining
