Making a Flying Ship in Minecraft Steampunk

a while we’ll be back it is our home after all not for a [Music] while he it’s some very small improvements to the base quickly over I added a wall here upstairs and made it a little more comfortable everything has a wall between some extra detailing the pond the furnace this is our emergency supply of fuel I’ve currently empti DS to for stop the engine but apparently uh the engine room is so hot that it has a base level boil going so it will always run which is nice but not expected and this is our enchantment room I went ahead and decorated it just with a couple things just the wandering Mage Armor that I’ve had for a while laying around and we have some trophies then I have these trophies up here and Sal loot trophy then that’s pretty much the entire base and what’s now we can go ahead and just head out we’re good oh I’m doing good jpz how you doing there she blows that prous ship we need to give it a name [Music] though there’s a pirate ship over there I don’t remember that being over [Music] there let’s go ahead and [Music] board all right so I’ve done a little bit of work uh actually aboard the ship of course I had to get an Airborne so there’s balloons literally under every stool and everything and a lot of balloons and we I took out some extra weight uh I changed us from steam power to Electric we are running entirely off of flywheels and electric motors which are completely solar powered doing good I’m at work right now has been like two entire days playing track and zma 2 [Music] lovely this storage crate that’s right here I guess I can hurry and run back over to it this is our main bulk storage unit we open this up this is just all of our bulk items I’ll probably end up shuffling them out as we go but I just grabbed a little bit of everything then we have a tool repair work bench from Tetra and a standard crafting bench and then this right here is a keg and what this does is we are pickling rotten flesh and drawing it out and stuff into just jerky yes it’s not pickling pickling is when you like water it we’re drying it out I don’t know why you do that in a g but that’s our main source of food right now of fact I could probably grab this I think does that just give us XP whatever if we head upstairs when I actually turn on the main clutch this elevator does work and the buttons and everything work but I have it turned off right now because I haven’t finished the fine tuning right now it over stresses the system this right here is our back tank churcher for when we go underwater for long periods of time we can go ahead and refill that there and we have our normal items here I just flip that with the clutch and this is our secondary storage for just items that we’ll probably never bother with again this chest right here is where all of our extra balloons ended up just in case we end up getting too heavy then this is going to be our new enchantment room but I have not worked on it a significant amount then if we come over here we can enter the main area this is the giant flat we’re about halfway up the the actual blimp and then we can either go down here into this lower floor and this little workspace area or you can go all the way down uh those light spots that are coming through are where our solar panels are I have a whole bunch of golden wire attached to them we have like something nine solar panels and then they link together and then head down so we have a good source of reliable power unfortunately without like a multimeter I don’t think I can read the exact number which annoys me because when I hover over it with the goggles and stuff it just it doesn’t like it because for some reason it doesn’t like partial entities or whatever let’s go ahead and head down I guess to the control room so these do you build those by hand or he’s in creative mode in between I use something called a schematic Cannon and what that does is I gather up every single block and resource needed to build this and then the schematic Cannon places it all let me grab my spy glass that’s it right there that Cannon built this ship that as an architect for real I wish I’m a terrible [Laughter] Builder as you can see everything is uh currently powered down I’m a little nervous to start it up we almost immediately stress out the system especially when I turn on the crafting room but everything else is fine uh let’s go actually set our spawn because I don’t intend to be leaving this for a while we can head up to the Captain’s Room all beds are invisible just the way we like it [Music] and then there are doors that are invisible too but we’ll just leave that open invisible and then we got to go back downstairs the main hatches on the side of the ship where it’s like these right here these main doors flip out they don’t work and it’s because they were not glued properly and I don’t know where the Machinery is so I’m going to have to P the floor out and so that I can get this working cuz when you press that button it’s supposed to lower this whole thing down and then over here we have an emergency exit if I come down here there’s this where you stand here and then this whole thing can be lowered down with a remote how are we doing on fuel we are low that’s okay um the texi go and top that off real quick we have some cholate home just to make sure we can stay out for as long as possible we’ve got our spawn set and everything I’m sure you’ve noticed that that’s that’s pretty darn far away but it’s still within render distance and our computer is not completely dying um I I have a new mod that lets us see a casual 100 128 render distance so uh once we start doing some adventuring we’ll be able to see home from basically anywhere is home sticks above the tree line I have some charcoal here but I think we’re going to need some more oh okay I don’t have very much charcoal here well I have a charcoal cooker over here that also Cooks our crd oil which is what our whole building runs off of do you need a refill h no I guess just grab all [Music] that and we’re pretty much good right now we are wearing the full netherite armor plus a bunch of different enchantments and I ask for nice to see you today great thief of usual we we have Diamond gloves uh enchantment and what’s it called uh cheios and whatnot gems and hearts of colum and amulets and stuff so we we’re extra prepared we have a ton of damage resistance and we have these which are ignitium which is like a tier Above netherite This actually has the exact same actually more D resist inability than her chest plate despite it just being legs so I love it teeth no [Music] seeing Oh God we’re taking [Music] damage okay we’re [Music] good is it all ready guess we’ll sleep again [Music] there we go he we have some charcoal in here too oh we have a lot of charcoal in here x that’s where I took most of it let’s go ahead and dump this into our other engine we do two stacks in you and a little more just for fun okay so as you can see our temperature is currently going down and we have no efficient way of doing temperature so I’m going to go in sleep so that we do not freeze to death uh our armor is lined for the nether not for cold weather so we get cold all right that was one one more thing oh yes uh we need to go ahead and get the secondary engines running so we just come over here to the main clutch everything looks good we flip that there we go that’s the main clutch going I don’t know why that went upstairs [Music] or by scaffolding go oh gosh I pushed a hole in the ceiling too all right well that’s lovely accident happened that if we come over here we can read our speedometer and our stress ometer currently they’re both about the same eventually I’ll have the stress ometer set so that we can have it a lot lower so that we can power more things at once right now it’s a little angry at us but what this does if we come over here you can see our propellers are now active in spinning I made darn sure that these things worked as they are beautiful all right I think we’re ready to head off you know we’ll do there [Music] boink and then we’re ready oh gosh our propellers don’t properly naturally slow with no way to improve this speed and those chunks will fix in cells as we go currently since this mod has just barely been switched on it’s still trying to figure out where things are are but our current heading is to that S I called it the sussy thing but what it is is it is a sunken [Laughter] stud another word that cired with s and that sunken city is home to a ritual where we can summon the Leviathan and unfortunately we do not have the materials to some ithan you need a heart of the sea we do not have one of those this is weird that it’s not it’s not rendering that rendering the [Music] chunks it wants to yeah see if I do that it renders them in it’s just because I’m over that’s weird that’s weird Leviathan yes a sea Leviathan they are big mean and they are tough they’re an endgame boss and I’m not even sure how to damage it I tried to beat it up in creative mode and failed I could not kill it I like heard it and then it went immune and then I didn’t know what to do I we you to go into first person for this make sure that we’re rendering [Music] properly th we’re rendering new chunks we’re going to hit just a little bit of lag yeah there we go subu maxed that’s okay I did a little bit of reconnaissance so it’s not all entirely new chunks but since we’re so high up it is generating quite a bit more than it would normally make sure that we’re glows there’s the edge of the chance if any part of us hits over those junk Ledges then we stall for a [Music] second I made sure that most of the sunken city was already rendered it’s going to try and render a bunch more but it won’t it shouldn’t be a big deal I rendered in most of it and you’ll probably start turning just a tiny bit make sure we end up at the right place at the right [Music] time and to get this sign to say something [Music] must be nice to see the ship flying from the ground yeah as darn villagers it must be an awe we’re going to need a turn a little to the [Music] left that end is the location of the village I need to put a lock out on those Hoppers too now I we don’t waste as much fule I’ve already burned through so much just from having it idling and I do not see the sunken city yet but I know that we’re close so we’re passing the village right here the sunken video was just off the [Music] shores a sir person ah lovely you can kind of see the village bunch of smoke starting to render in things hit on the mini map hey there they are maybe we’ll do some trades I brought along plenty of emrad two or three stacks at [Music] least weing it just just go a little bit past them and go ahead and start turning to the left any second ah y there it is on the mini map now the ship doesn’t like to be in the water for some reason something or another it would much rather float about 13 blocks in the air above the water instead so that is going to be a thing we are going to need to figure something out but until then let’s go ahead start looking for a place to I am a mage After All Eyes imbued our sword with a unique spell called Divine smite now of course it does superior damage against un dead but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt these guys yeah he’s dead it does 30 damage to uh Undead and like 25 to normal [Music] creatures and it’s an AOE attack it costs something 40 Mana which you know it works we got to be careful these these uh angler guys they bring lion fish with them which are a problem and as terribly annoying anything cool down here it’s [Music] pretty doesn’t look like there’s much to it though this room might have been a abysal burn debuffs remain me seconds so we’ve never encountered the imissal crab but it looks like we would need to find it and then bless it here and then those drops when blessed would grant us busts to defeat harder bosses oh um hi heck love your name pal um you have literally nothing for me and I have literally nothing for you so I think we’re just going to pretend like this interaction
