Minecraft 1.9 Prerelease Tutorial: How to make Potions/ Brewing Stand

What’s going on guys Argentina here and I’m going to walk give you guys a little tutorial on the alchemy which was added to the 1.9 pre-release in Minecraft I have to say first of all that because this is a pre-release changes can still be made when 1.9 is officially released

To everyone right now this is just a pre-release everything can be changed whatever Mojang wants changes to be made will happen and I will surely update you guys with future videos when that does happen but for now I’m going to walk you through a few recipes on how to make

Potions how to create the brewing stand and the individual ingredients that are necessary for the alchemy so sit back I hope you guys enjoyed this little tutorial and leave me a comment you know if you want to see more of this hopefully later I will make a tutorial

On enchanting weaponry and items I tried to but the Chapmans didn’t actually go through so I’m gonna do some more research and get that guy that’s you guys as soon as possible enjoy and have a good one alright guys the first thing you’re going to have to do unfortunately is head to another

Which will mean using one of the blaze rods you acquired and some cobblestone there you go three cobblestone one blaze rod brewing sad wonderful now before I go ahead and start making potions looks kind of weird 4head go ahead and start making potions I’m going to explain all the individual ingredients necessary

First you need bottles to put your potions in bottles are made with glass just like how you make buckets and each bottle has to be filled with water sadly they don’t they don’t stack so every individual bog will take some own spot of your inventory now for D ingredients

Plastic rods are not an ingredient but they can be broken down into a blasting powder which is a necessity a glowstone dust which you’ll find in the nether sugar which you get off of reeds redstone leave is used as well gassed tears which fall from gas when they die good luck

Never been able to get a potion of the four tiers there are quite a bit of combinations that can be made several thousand I’ve read which is a bit daunting it’s going a lot faster than the first bit potion at sea wonderful we have it potion of speed

Look it lowered the duration time by half the more you upgrade a potion oops you can’t wait anymore the more you’ll be in a potion the more you lower the speed the amount of time they take a digesters through your system adding redstone will bring it back to tier one

Poisoning for 22 seconds this is obviously more damage ah for the amount of time it’s in it’s in the individual system but now we’re going to up this potion even more if we add fermented spider eye to it towards my fermented spider eyes I’m sure I made some here

You go if we added fermented spider eye to it of course you could um add the fermented spider eye to the potion of poison when it’s a level one potion and it would make the same potion that’s going to be made now but of course a weaker level one adding the fermented

Spider eye to the potion of poison will give you the potion of harming which like the potion of healing does instant damage this is level 2 so it does six hearts worth of damage level one which would just be adding fermented spider eye to the potion of poisoning we’ll do

Three hearts worth of damage now I can go ahead and test both these potions is she yep there you go hurt myself not impressed what if I do this you guys go we can now heal ourselves which is fantastic since with the recent update to 1.8 we haven’t been we had no actual

Way of healing ourselves now next potion is not possible since I need to get more awkward potions I’ll be right back after I make those alright so I have myself three more awkward potions let’s take these guys out so I can only do one at a time

Next would be combining a blaze powder with an awkward potion this one’s going to take a while I have to add I forgot to include with the potion of swiftness if you were to step up one more and add a fermented spider eye to the potion of swiftness it creates a potion of

Fermented spider egg I will create the potion of slowness which of course will slow you down combining it with redstone dust will increase its duration which might be a flaw since you can’t really level it up to two according to the research I made so redstone dust just makes it last

Longer which is sick which is a positive now that’s uh that’s the end of all the basic potions that come from awkward potions the next potions we’re going to be making potions for will have a base of mmm what’s the base let me look into this mundane potion which is basically
