Minecraft ATM9 Ep 57: Insane Bees & Thermal Secrets!

hey Minecrafters welcome back to the channel or to the channel if you’re new here and episode 57 in our all the mods 9 series it is wild to think that we are already at episode 57 but there is so much more in the pack to do so grab a drink grab a snack whatever it is that you get for while you watch videos and let’s get on with the fun all righty so we’re back at all the mods on and honestly I’m really really excited because I have been doing so many other things that I’ve really missed this pack and also I did forget to mention that um so with the issues I was having with refined storage and there seems to be a lot of confusion with this so I figured out after doing a lot of testing that the um input and output items very quickly into the system through my chunk destroyer and through my furnaces was actually causing the system to do what it was doing it wasn’t anything NBT driven in it because I had nothing NBT driven in it and if you guys are ever unsure with your refined storage or anything that uh has problems with NBT you’re going to you’re going to press f3h and then you’re going to run your mouse over the items now these are a great example these boxes of closure they have three NBT tags on them so like uh our um our pickaxe has three um arrows actually don’t have any so they shouldn’t really cause issues but like tools weapons potions things like that you can run your mouse over top of them when you press f3h and you can see like the the inventory pets have them um oh see yeah this this system is not happy there’s three MBT tags in the mob yers you know totems of undying actually don’t have any MBT tags interesting music discs don’t either so those really don’t have a problem but like scepter tools all that stuff um these Scrolls all have two NBT tags and things like that so yeah so if you guys are ever curious if you have anything in your main storage that has NBT just do f3h and you’ll be able to tell so yeah um that’s a good way to check it out and do that yeah I figured I would I would explain that cuz people were a lot of people are saying well I don’t have those issues with my refined storage okay that’s good I’m happy for you but like I figured out why mine was doing that it was because I was having things come in and out of like the system way way way way way too quickly so that’s where my problem was and honestly it pushed me to get back into Applied Energy sticks as a whole so I’m really happy about that so that’s where we are that’s where we’re staying plus rainbows so I mean anyways so uh no comments to go over today but again thank you for all of your tips and tricks and your comments and your your lovely words and everything on the last video I appreciate you guys a ton we’re almost at 15K and I couldn’t be more have you my bags which I mean is not shocking for me but I’ll do this as I Babble so what I would like to do is I would like to um start uh theral Thal series now I haven’t really played with thermal series all that much in all of the times I’ve played modded Minecraft so uh this is definitely going to be one of those things where you guys can leave some tips and tricks for me or I mean you can always can but one of those times where it’ll be mega mega mega helpful because I don’t know a lot about it um I’ve tinkered with it here and there you know I’ve kind of dipped my feet in and all that stuff but it’s definitely not something that I have played with a ton so yeah you guys uh and you know kind of do what you do best and and be my my brains so we’re going to look at the quest line for that now uh I know all the mods 10 has been announced um at least I think it has somebody came into my stream and told me that but I’ll have to double check but something about it being announced so I’m going to have to double check on the specifics of that so there’s a lot of people who are always asking me like are you doing all the mons to the sky are you doing all the mons 10 Absol fre lutely I will be doing both of those um however I have two Series going at the moment so um and I I tend to like to wait a little bit for starting packs so they can have time to you know do the tons and tons of updates that they will be doing because it it really is a pain when you’re doing a series and you have to update like every other day or whatever like update the pack and everything every other day so uh definitely going to be waiting on that just like how I I was late to the party with all the mods 9 right so it’s going to be the same for all the mods 10 not going to wait that long but definitely wait a while and for all the mods to the sky I’ve actually been playing it in my off time and they have done so many improvements between that and all the mods 7 to the sky uh it’s actually so much more enjoyable so I definitely will be doing a series on that at some point as well because they’ve done such a good job on that um so yeah that hopefully that will answer all of the questions you guys have been uh wondering and are you know what I mean CU of yeah brain doing the thing but yeah so hopefully that gives you guys the answers that you have been seeking anyhoo uh put this over here quests let’s take a look see let’s take a little look all right we needed to go back through and do all of these I love how it’s like I’m going to 100% pack and do all the quests and they’re like okay we’re just going to throw more quests at you oh my god um and also during stream we were actually talking about the um entangle ad doodo here so this is actually pretty slow in terms of transporting items into my system so I guess I’m going to have to eventually do the quantum do hiim babber for this because I can’t find anything that’s quick enough that transfers items the way it did when I was on refined storage now somebody said something about the Ender Chest transferring and I keep trying that but for whatever reason it doesn’t go quick enough for me and it’s just as slow as the intangle doodo so it’s just like I’m going to have to really Tinker with that because nothing irks me more than how slow this is going well in terms of trans transferring stuff it’s uh it’s just so slow it is so slow it’s so slow it’s so slow like it’s just you were so complicated to set up and you’re so slow why anyways I’m going to stop whining like a little baby so let’s uh yeah let’s look at the I’m so tempted to go through this and do this quest line right now cuz we have like a lot of this there’s some stuff we don’t have like the Morgan and stuff like that which we definitely need to do but I have this liter I’m literally hold oh it’s already got a check mark okay so awakens Su premium sort wait oh it’s green oh oh so the ones I have are green I mean I have I’ve had a lot of these too but is this one green as well yes it is okay [Music] good I guess we should just put like all of the swords that we have in our inv in our thing and just like put them in our inventory like this and this and this and this that’s a dagger uh this this this this this are all those going to trigger it interesting okay anyways distractions let’s go check on our bees it’s I’ve made a goal to go and check on our bees every time ooh oh you get a lot of oops you get a lot of worms Oh oh oh you get quite a few worms like the water wait what okay uh I guess let’s put some some items in there let’s put some stuff in there to get them going that’s actually quite a bit of worms I’m actually happy with that let us see let’s just add some calamari why not we’re going to really use this right now oh we can’t wait what can we put in the oh we just put like normal like saplings I don’t remember what I put in there what about um um what about green tea leaves ah there we [Applause] go you are oh goodness gracious so the Ignus extruder that’s a really good thing for Sky Block I’ve been really tinkering around with that that’s been an absolute blast to to mess around with and also I’m trying to sit like not shrimp over you know bad posture so anyone watching this right now if they posture check okay okay um so let’s see what do I need all for this stuff okay can I make this stuff I don’t know okay well let’s start with the ignis inrud instr extruder Creo and then the vacuum met energetic infuser we’ll start with those okay does it say what these are vacuums up items okay creates an infinite water source when placed between two water source blocks okay this machine charges the items placed inside oh right another type of charger okay um and then we we know what this or actually well I don’t think I’ve gone over this is so Place one lava source block on one side of one water source block on the other and it will generate Cobblestone check the recipes to see the other kinds of stone you can create so these are really really good in uh Sky Block worlds because you can make some pretty cool stuff M especially with witch water but yeah I guess it’s just like basic basic stuff you can make like a deep slate and oh I need to turn off my my uh extra tool tips cuz that was driving me nuts but yeah so Basalt Cobblestone wham bam thank you ma’am so we will make these first we should be able to make these first anyways I should have plenty of this stuff because I mean like pretty disgusting the kind of items that we have in here um but yeah oh is is this still making uh do I really need to make a ton of singularities um maybe what else can I get rid of that I’m really not using oh we also need oh hold on you know what we haven’t checked in a while is our reactors that just made me think of that looking at the uran knite um I also need to go check my trees because I’m pretty sure those are going to be full by now uh Beyond wait oh that just scared me oh my God how full are you guys really that’s it is this not chunk loaded oh this isn’t chunk loaded oh okay well let me chunk load you I was going to say these should have been full by now but yeah we got really lucky by the way so they made a change where you can’t get all of these saplings anymore uh through the way that I got them with the Alchemist table um so you have to do it through the actual production trees like uh tree breeding and stuff like that so we got really really lucky that we got these before that change because that is a pain in in the butt we figured it out during the stream when I was in my recording world or not my not my recording world my stream world and uh yeah so we got really really lucky and we have all of them in this world no I just don’t have them in that world but that’s fine uh oh gosh yeah we’re still good we’re still good we got lots tons of power too okay yeah we’re we’re we’re golden all right more than enough power forever oh my goodness the hiccups o these are still pumping away too huh interesting okay what was I doing oh yeah so let’s see what I can put in there for some singularities cuz we just there’s some of the stuff that we’re just really not going to need to use very much of um I mean I guess I could do some raw tin if I really need raw tin for a lot of stuff raw silver raw zinc I mean it’s going to go through them pretty quickly but that’s fine oh is that even something I have set in my chunk Destroyer I think I might not have that set in my chunk Destroyer because I had so much of it I mean I might want to double check that um I do okay good I still have it going in the chunk oh my God look at how slow this is emptying like the copper can’t even go in because it’s just getting removed so slowly oh my goodness gracious are you done and there’s a couple little chunk blippy over here oh my God there’s a lot of Chunk blippy over here oh it’s still not even done it’s almost done though oh my gosh look at all of the little chunk errs man that’s why does it do that I don’t get why that happens I haven’t seen it this bad before that’s so bizarre I don’t think I’ve ever seen it have that many yeah like that’s a what there’s so many why why is it doing that that doesn’t make any sense to me I mean we got lots of Al the modium now but oh and also another thing um so some people were confused you can get vibranium in not just the nether but also in the other so if you guys are able to make like your potions and your charms and stuff like that just get that going and then go over to the other and go you know down into the where all the you know ancient stone is and stuff like that you’ll find tons of it tons and tons and tons of it so it isn’t just in the nether uh definitely good to to go to go there so yeah like it’s bizarre there’s just a whole pocket of them anyways whatever it’s almost done so we could let it empty out after that let’s see how quickly it’s going to go through the items from here H not too quickly already got a singularity though is this area still chunk loaded okay it is all right let’s do the other stuff so let’s make the ignas ous extruder oh yeah we got balls of it’s going to be stuck if I a no no uh no oop I did not mean to do that here we go let’s go back down the list here make some fire charges and then we’ll do the uh electrum ingots and then we need to make make these there we go that’s four of those done there is a thermal series book I wonder if the thermal series book will give us more information on them let’s see uh thermal series should be in here somewhere wait I thought I got the thermal series book did I not get the thermal series book I did get the thermal series book why is it noed my huh did I completely miss it um excuse me did I isip past it no I I swear we’ve gotten that thermal series book I’m not going crazy right was it removed from the game or something I swear I swear we’ve gotten that book I know I I right like I am blind right because I remember there being a book because I always said how cute it was cuz it says it like greets you when you open it you guys know what I’m talking about right I’m our Crusher I totally know I have a Crusher what I’ve literally made these already where what what what is happening what is happening what is happening I might already have the upgrades in it does it of these goodies so I guess I have tinkered around with thermal series never mind cuz I guess more so in sky in the Sky Block worlds that I’m playing but I haven’t really thought about it very much in uh in this world I love how was like I haven’t really played around with it much that I’m like oh but I use the ignas extruder yeah that’s my brain for you uh parp can enchan these with capacity to increase the storage wait you can enchant them wait that’s really cool what are these cured rubber oh God now we’re really getting into it how do how does one make cured rubber ah from industrial for going tiny dry rubber okay hold on so we should have this going still right what why is my jet pack not making noise dry rubber but wait oh crap I did not mean to do that oh God don’t don’t hit that okay so by the way I’m going to remove the stripped wood cuz it gives less apparently according to you guys there we go um tiny dry rubber oh block of cured rubber okay perfect okay good okay there we dust and also has a 25% chance to create an extra dust ah so it has a chance to double interesting the induction furnace combines materials into new Alloys this is also useful when smelting ancient debris into netherite scraps so is there a reason why it’s better to use this for ancient debris other than a furnace does it like double it or whatever potentially I mean cuz your squeezer also potentially doubles it right which is why I have it automatically going into the squeezer here let’s see how much netherite we’ve got going on here oh yeah we got tons lots and lots going okay so that there oh oh oh oh oh oh there I guess we can make the integral components this is a tier 2 upgrade for thermal series items and machines note while you can put several base ingredients or several base upgrades into a machine only the highest tier takes effect I’m a dumb dumb I have played with thermal series more than I thought cuz I did it in the FTB Sky series I guess I just didn’t get too deep into it maybe that’s what I’m thinking because I do remember doing all of these these ones here H okay it just goes to show when you do so many series your brain just completely just goes out the nuggets probably need a bunch of these pulverizer done induction smelter done and then we’ll do magma Crucible done phytogenic insulator done cus separator there we go that’s the words done oh wait didn’t I just make the phytogenic insulator yeah I forgot to take it off the thing blast chiller done G need to make some more of these multi Servo press done alchemical lure done Sawmill done just I’ll have to read up on that in the thing fluid encapsulator done pyrolyzer oh ran out of constant and stuff just just in the nick of time okay so let’s read what these are use in here a pyzer works like a Coke oven but simplified insert fuel like coal and it’ll produce coal Coke and byproduct ah fluid encapsulator combines liquids with items fractionating still can convert liquids into items or other useful liquids sequential fabricator and autoc crafter Sawmill uh can create and the alchemical Ander can create liquid uh potions that can be bottled into potions a multi Sero press creates presses using cast think plates gears Etc magma Crucible can convert certain blocks into liquids this is useful for generating lava from Cobblestone Netherrack Etc uh phytogenic insulator this machine works like a botney pot garden Clos Etc when given water into seed it will grow the seed inside of the machine and auto output the products into the machine interesting and does that like can you speed that up I’m assuming you can cuz it’s thermal series that’s actually pretty cool centrifugal c words centrifugal Fugal Fugal separator separates items into their crafting components this machine is mostly for extracting dyes from flowers or Blends back into their components um blast chiller converts items from a liquid to his solid some requiring casts there is also a b spawn egg recipe it can create oh oh okay bees all right so looking at this with like the the dynamos and stuff I have real I was coming back to me now that I have played with thermal series more than I thought I have because I do remember the dynamos as well especially for early game Power and stuff like that um but I guess I just I’m thinking of like the more advanced stuff but then maybe not like I don’t I know I haven’t tinkered with any of these machines at least not with many of them maybe the magma Crucible but yeah yeah so my brain got a little bit confused maybe thinking of something else like a different mod that’s kind of like this I don’t know that or maybe I’m just forgetting a bunch of things and then like as I’m seeing it it’s coming back to me because I do remember using it was it Sterling yeah this one here just like for early game stuff then again you guys for those of you that have seen my FTB Sky series I’m sure I’ve done a little bit more and I’m just not remembering who knows with my brain who knows okay so multicycle injectors increases fuel efficiency of dynamos now that’s not something I’m familiar with I didn’t realize that was something you could do oh they’re cute though those are really pretty ooh okay am I going to be able to make these ooh Maybe not maybe not can make this one oh will that trigger the the the the thing yeah it will okay good I’m not going to make all of them auxiliary reaction chamber increases generation rate at the cost of efficiency okay let’s make this one so Silver gear for this one okay and then signalum plates for this one using gems what kind of gems though oh like crising crystals lapis diamond ruby amethyst Emerald Sapphire nether quartz oh cool uh generates power using Enchanted items oh that’s actually good if you want to like recycle some of your items uh Gorman generates power using food question mark um compression note this accepts tree oil Creo oil and refined Fuel and this is by burning items like coal and stuff and this is obviously given magnetic AKA lava and lava items very cool okay so now we need to make the coils oops doopsy so expanded RF coil um I guess we’ll just do like the base ones stabilized RF uh and then this one high flux and then flux efficiency I think it was the sole one that was the B oh no this one is the base one and then this one and then this [Music] one and then we’ll do these [Music] ones read all about them in a second oops oh my God I knew I would screw that up at some point and then this one okay so let’s read these so the flux linkage amplifier increases
