Hello everybody roguefox here and welcome back to another minecraft bedrock edition redstone tutorial today i’ll show you how to make a hidden 2×2 piston door also known as the jeb door for your survival world or realm this hidden 2×2 piston door or jeb door is very similar to the one that i made Just over a year ago when bedrock edition was in version 1.6 the only difference in this design is the redstone is a little bit more cleaned up and i also noticed in the comments section of the original 2×2 hidden piston door video that a lot of you were having trouble With the redstone activating the bottom pistons so i went ahead and made a small tweak to this design that should eliminate that problem altogether with all that out of the way let’s go ahead and take a look how this works we have our wall and then if we flip our lever That opens up our two by two piston door and then if we flip over once again that will close it right back up now you may be thinking this is not a hidden input this is very exposed this is supposed to be a hidden 2×2 piston door don’t worry At the end of the video i will show you how to wire this up to a hidden input so you don’t have to have a lever out in the open like i have here to make this hidden two by two piston door or jeb door you are gonna need an Eight by six area now let’s go ahead and take a look at our supplies there we go there are all the redstone supplies we’ll need for this build so what we have here are 12 sticky pistons 5 repeaters 21 redstone dust a lever for the demonstration again we are going to Have a hidden input at the end of the video your building blocks and then three glass blocks with that being said if you want to pause the video go ahead and do that grab your supplies and then we’ll jump right into the build to get things started what we’re going to do is Come over to our corner block and let’s go three blocks in and one block over and then place one two three temporary blocks right there grab your sticky pistons place a sticky piston facing in one right behind it two more on top and on the back sticky pistons place two More sticky pistons facing forward like this and then go ahead and place your door blocks right on the face of those sticky pistons now we’re gonna do the same to the other side so we can remove these start with this corner three blocks in one block over one two three Sticky piston facing forward one behind it two on top again two facing forward on the back two and then door blocks on the face of those sticky pistons facing forward so we should have is a setup like this with a two block gap and let’s go ahead and move on From here what we’re gonna do is wire up these four sticky pistons on the back side so go ahead and grab your blocks and against these bottom two sticky pistons place two blocks like this it’s redstone dust and place redstone dust on top of those blocks notice that the redstone will run into These pistons and those will be powered and then the redstone being on top of these blocks will power the pistons down below next place a temporary block right here two blocks out like this we can remove this one go ahead and grab your repeater run your Repeater into this block and set this to three ticks and redstone dust right there so there we go that should be your setup so far now let’s go ahead and do the same to the other side again two blocks right here redstone dust on those blocks every block here two blocks out remove This one repeater running into this block set to three ticks and then redstone dust right here and there we go that is all set up now what we’re going to do is wire up these bottom two pistons right here to wire up these pistons down below what We need to do is place in a couple of our floor blocks so let’s go ahead and come down below place a temperature block here two floor blocks going across we can remove that now go ahead and place a temporary block under this piston a block here remove that one And then we’re gonna make an l shape by coming a block out and then two blocks in this direction so it’s connected with this one and lined up and then we’ll do the same to the other side temporary block block down block over two blocks back connecting to this one here And then what we’re going to do is place blocks going across like this so that should be the block layout so far now go ahead and grab your repeaters run your repeater into that floor block leave that set to one tick do the same to the other side repeater one tick And then line these blocks up with redstone dust this and like that and you will notice that these lines are going to connect so there we go that is everything wired up so far before we move on i quickly want to show you how the redstone behind This build works so let’s go ahead and place a lever down right here it doesn’t really matter so what’s going to happen once i flip the lever this is going to power the redstone line and this is going to activate these repeaters first because they are set to one tick of delay They’re going to power these floor blocks and then two ticks later these repeaters are going to activate up here which is going to extend all four of these pistons and that is going to push our two pistons here with our door blocks across the already powered Block to keep it simple you can think of it as first on first off for these repeaters and then second on second off so if we flip the lever if you want to keep your eyes on the repeater it happens pretty quickly we flip it let’s repeat your powers first and then Because we don’t have the top wired up just yet you can see this is extended and then when we take the power away again first on first off keep your eyes on the repeater these will turn off first these will turn off next there we go so what happens with that is Once these lose power these pistons retract first and then two ticks later these pistons are going to retract these pistons and the door blocks and that is pretty much how this works so there we go and that is a quick explanation of the redstone to wire up the top all we’re Going to do is grab our glass blocks and you can pick the left or the right side it doesn’t matter but on the back block right here go ahead and place a glass block like this a glass block against the top piston one more on top of that piston And then blocks coming across to right there now go ahead and grab your redstone dust and then what we’re going to do is place redstone dust on top of the glass and run it up like this run that into a repeater leave that set to one tick and on these last two blocks Place down redstone dust so what this part is going to do is act like this setup down here so again the redstone line is going to come up and because we are using a glass block you will notice that the redstone line is coming up to right here but also going up so In a sense it works like a slab except the glass block is definitely better than using a slab this wrestling line is going to come up power this again set to one tick just like down below power this redstone dust and that is going to power these two pistons when they extend to The gap right here there is the door and there is the opening and from this point the redstone is all done so now we can go ahead and build up our wall around it like this this is going to be the frame empty block here and then this is going To be at the floor there we go and let’s go ahead and flip our lever and then all we need to do is fill in the gaps so place in the rest of your floor cover up the ceiling however you like to do it and there we go there is the 2×2 hidden Piston door or jeb door all completed now it’s time for me to show you how to wire this up to a hidden input because this is a hidden piston door after all so let’s say we want our input to be on the side of the door So what we’re going to do is place a button down right here and what you’ll need we’re gonna make a deep flip-flop are a couple of droppers a hopper a comparator a junk item some redstone dust and then a repeater now let’s go ahead and grab our droppers And right under this wall block place a dropper facing up and then we want to run this redstone line into this area right here so go ahead and grab your second dropper crouch place your dropper on top of this one facing forward or in grab your hopper crouch place your Hopper running into the bottom dropper grab your comparator and then run your comparator out from this top dropper on top of the hopper so it should look like this so far now in the bottom dropper go ahead and place in your junk item we want to run this comparator into a Block like this block right here and then a block right there so that should be the setup so far so compared to running to the block and on top of this block go ahead and place a repeater and that’s going to power this block which is then going to power All of the redstone for the door and for the final touch go ahead and grab a redstone dust and on top of this dropper crouch place your redstone dust like this so that is all done from the outside if we press it there is the door the opening and closing Now we need to wire this up from the inside to get out from the hidden piston door wire this up so we can get out from the hidden piston door from the inside what we’re going to do is run a restaurant line all the way around and back to the T flip flop up front so to be safe we don’t want to cross wire anything i’m going to come two blocks out so this is gonna be one block over our building area and i’m gonna place my button right here on the floor a block down there so we do have a block Gap place rest on dust on top so if we press it the redstone will be activated and then all we do is run our blocks all the way around the outside like this and then right against the dropper there now get your redstone dust line this up with redstone dust And you will notice these will connect to break these off once again all we do is place a block right above it and notice that did disconnect the line so they will not be cross wired and then we’ll continue to wire this up with redstone dust again these are going to connect just Place a block above it disconnect them redstone dust here and then a repeater running into that top dropper and there we go that is all set up and ready to go so let’s say the hidden door is closed like this and that button is not there We come up to our hidden two by two piston door place our button down open it up and we want to keep it hidden so let’s take this with us we head on inside we’re going to press this one that’s going to close the door behind us just like this And then when we want to come back out all we do is press this once again the door opens up come out place the button down press it once again the door closes behind us and then we take our button and then go on about our business There you have everyone a hidden two by two piston door or jeb door for bedrock edition this is the end of today’s redstone tutorial i really hope you guys enjoyed this has been roguefox and i will see you later you
