Over the last six months I have been keeping you all updated on the Shader support for Minecraft Bedrock Edition well today we are back with even more leaked files that once again indicate shaders for this version of Minecraft now I’m not saying shaders will be released in a month or even six months It looks like this is a long-term project for Mojang to finally get Shader support working for Minecraft Bedrock after failing on two previous occasions with that being said this information is coming from active data miners in the community but always keep an open mind with this information right let me share With you what was recently discovered this information is once again coming from the data Miner smokestacks who in the latest beta and preview discovered some interesting files he said in the latest hashtag Minecraft preview new things are just discovered an option to control fog quality has been added Shaders seem to be getting more customizable this was the first image he did share with us now at the top we have volume trick fog quality below that we have low fog quality then we have medium fog quality High fog quality and Ultra fog quality now if you cast your memory Back to some of my previous videos you’ve probably seen this picture something else shared from Smoky Stacks was in fact the shadow quality options which again were low medium high and Ultra so it looks like all these Shader options are starting to align like I said previously the good news here is That Mojang and Minecraft they’re not just catering the Shader support just for one specific platform like in the past when they introduced RTX Ray tracing it was just for Windows platforms an RTX capable graphics cards yeah they try to do it on series X and it kind of failed but judging by these Settings with low medium high and Ultra it looks like it’s going to span across iOS Android Windows Xbox switch and Playstation obviously the high-end PCS and the high-end consoles are going to be supporting high and Ultra but it looks like whatever platform you do play On you will have some form of option and that’s the really good news about this as Moody said what does this actually mean dark gamer responded by saying they added more options to video settings now the best way to describe this is render distance if you have a high-end graphics Card like I do I can run Minecraft Bedrock Edition on 80 chunks as high as 80 chunks if you’re playing on iOS Android or switch you’ll notice start your chunks aren’t that high and the reason why we have low medium high and Ultra is because some devices will not Be capable of running high or Ultra this is quite common in any form of video game whenever you play a video game especially on PC or Xbox you have the option to change the quality settings and that is essentially what Minecraft are doing the next bit of information I Have for you is it looks like Minecraft Bedrock Edition is getting some updated UI changes Smoky Stacks also treated this by saying a no internet image has been added it seems Realms will be supported for preview slash beta as well a new glyph was added not sure if it was Mentioned in the change log or not the new uis seem to be coming closer I love this picture of this Enderman just holding a grass block and I love the way Minecraft have interpreted this to Minecraft Bedrock Edition I’m just gonna say the UI or Minecraft Bedrock Edition Is 10 times better than Minecraft Java Edition here is the information that he shared related to Realms if you do have a realm and you actively play beta and preview you know that you cannot join your realm on those versions that is going to be changing and to me this is a Really really good change because people who do have Realms who want to actively play them can play them in the latest versions and submit feedback related to Realms because strangely enough Realms do work a little bit different compared to single player and multiplayer now at the bottom it does say this will remove The world in your active slot and replace it with a new world to prevent data loss download your world first so my recommendation would be to back up your worlds before you even attempt to play the beta um sorry the realm in the latest beta and previews but yeah good Change it makes sense according to this picture some form of new UI menus will be added to Minecraft Bedrock Edition honestly I had no idea Minecraft Bedrock was getting even more new wise but like I said they’ve done a pretty good job so far so I’m excited to see how it turns Out we don’t have too much information to go off but every time I do make a beta in preview video I get tons of questions about shaders it looks like it is still in development it’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve had any updated files in the betas in previews But they are still working on it and that’s the good news Video Information
