Are so pleased to welcome tumbo to the stage here at twitchcon amsterdam taboo welcome how are your ears can you can you still hear after me all these fans this weekend it’s insane here it is it’s fabulous to have you here why did you decide to launch your own minecraft server

Sorry i can’t hear you why did you decide to launch your own minecraft server well actually it’s a funny story because i actually tried to make a minecraft before i even started streaming streaming was kind of the second thing on the list of things i

Want to try to try to do and yeah this one’s been in the works for a really long time now and my main drive was i kind of wanted to make an experience which people could interact with rather than just watch so so tobo did you work with any other

Minecraft players to develop this yeah so a while back i actually set up the alpha discord server and i invited so many friends as possible to try to get as much feedback as possible before releasing the server that’s awesome what makes tubnet different from other minecraft servers that are out there today

Well compared to traditional servers which have been stuck on minecraft java edition we have the advantage of being able to bridge the gap between bedrock and java edition so it’ll be cross-compatible and so we and along with that we have quality games and yeah i know we’re going to see some of those

Quality games today but right now crowd would you like to see some of tubnet all right then let’s take a look at what the gang i’ve got in store for you [Applause] Oh And oh [Applause] [Applause] I think the crowd were you’re mildly excited about that one right you think he looks alright all right so tubber who is tubnet for is it for hardcore minecrafters or is it good for casual players too a bit of both really because when we were designing the server because obviously there’s

You’re playing on different devices you can’t design a game for someone on phone like you can design a game on someone for pc so we’ve tried to design games that both appease to like the competitive audience through the use of like tournaments and stuff like that as

Well as the casual audience so we have a lot of persistent games so you can come back over time and just work on something on your own as well so i take it then quite a few games on offer during the launch how many are we looking at and

Are you going to be adding more on launch i think we’re aiming to have three solid game modes and then leading up in the next six months we’ve got a lot in store on our content calendar as well so what will the server look like in six

Months are there gonna be more games for the rest of the year as well yeah so we’ve planned out a calendar which comes from new map updates to new game mode releases a certain amount of time after launch as well as content updates cosmetics uh improvements to the lobbies expansion packs everything tubbo

I’ve got to ask you a difficult question now because technically it’s your team that has built craft master life so you have taken part in the play test so um how much of an edge did that give you over the rest of the competitors here

Today i think i might have a tiny edge but i haven’t seen an awful lot of it so i think overall like full disclosure i’ve seen some of it but overall i don’t think it’s gonna help me very much i wonder if he’s being honest with us or just giving us excuses

Been probably hopefully getting some practice i think we got some fans in tonight as well fantastic stuff a lot of experience on the roster look at that guy you know him you love him you know what i am fairly new to the minecraft community

But i don’t think i want to be anymore i think i desperately want to be a part of this this scene is absolutely crazy everyone has got such great energy this morning i’m particularly excited to see what graph g’s up to they are one of the biggest creators from the spanish scene

They know he’s playing a bunch of games between fortnite and minecraft but minecraft has made such superstars of these creators here so let’s see what magic they’re going to bring to the stage in a few moments and as we said these are brand new games that most of the players have never seen

Before so we are going to give you a little sneak peek into the world of the craft master tubnet and no name have modeled this server after amsterdam and it’s truly incredible today’s competitors will have to navigate a series of six mini-games set against the actual backdrop of twitchcon

Quick strategy skillful gameplay and top-level communication is what will set the winning team apart at the end of the day now cara and john you have been play testing this i don’t want you to give too much away but what are you particularly excited to see today i really enjoyed blind pvp

I can’t i can’t say too much but anything pvp is really exciting really really fun to watch and i think you guys are gonna love the spin that they put on this game it’s gonna be fantastic i’m really excited to see how these teams are gonna work together to solve these

New puzzles that are getting put in front of them right because these are challenges that they haven’t played before and i’m hoping that they’re going to have a great chance to communicate to solve and to show us what they’re made of i’m really excited general just to see

What tubnet has got in store because we’ve been waiting and anticipating that for a couple of years now i believe it was first announced cara is that when it was first announced hub net like a little while ago um i i know turbo has been preparing

This for a very very long time i had had the pleasure of chatting with him before and he is so excited to bring this to you guys he has been working on it he’s been pouring his blood sweat and tears into this and it’s going to be fantastic every single time
