Hey what’s going on guys log.zip here welcome back to the Minecraft Redstone video today we’ve got you oh as I was saying welcome back to the Minecraft Redstone video today we’ve got for you traps in vanilla Minecraft courtesy of Rogue clownfish who has created a faithful Port of the traps

From pixel dungeon in Minecraft now what Pixel Dungeon is if you are not familiar it is a popular iPhone Android freaking Blackberry LG Rumor the Razer from Motorola oh I don’t know some kind of phone game that is a Dungeon Crawler that you play on your phone and Rogue

Clownfish has made the traps in vanilla Minecraft there are tons of different traps that you’ll be able to add to your Minecraft world to spice things up a bit we’ve got toxic gas fire paralyzed poison an alarm system lightning grip and of course the Summoner trap now

These are all going to be things that you can add to your own world with the schematic and I will also include a download link for this specific world in the description of this video If you don’t feel like messing with schematics this and that we’ll be covering all the

Different things it does today as well some useful applications and some fun things you can do with the traps hopefully you guys enjoy this awesome awesome Redstone video and one last thing I’m thinking of making an actual dungeon for you to try and beat filled with these traps so if

Get 1500 likes I will make a dungeon filled with all these traps for you guys to play and try and beat but without further Ado we’re gonna go ahead and jump on into the Trap system now the first thing you’re gonna see on the ground are these little traps these are

Kind of trying to take after the Pixel Dungeon style this is how they look in pixel Junction what it really is if you’re wondering is simply armor stands holding up wool blocks and uh that is basically what happens once you you know press these buttons they are replaced

The wall blocks are replacingly so if we if we press grip they are replaced with gray wool blocks now all of these do different things we got to go ahead and deactivate this to deactivate a trap you simply step on top of it and it will become deactivated it’ll switch back to

Black black means it is not currently affected by anything and in order to place down traps you’ll have a chest that you’ll find with the schematic or of this world all containing Ender might spawn eggs these are called traps now once the clock over there is running which is currently running

Upon placing down one of these traps somewhere you will see and it might Dives really quickly and suddenly the Trap has been laid you can get some good traps going so I guess we can go ahead and get into what each trap does now but for that we’re

Going to need to switch over to Game Mode zero we’re going to set the difficulty to normal mode and you know we’ll keep a daytime for the time being this is going to heal me Daytime Nighttime peaceful normal create it or excuse me survival mode and creative mode in case you download this

World to test it out for yourself all right so the first thing we have here is toxic gas now this is a fun one and before we actually do that let’s go ahead and go into game mode real quick and uh grab ourselves a nice villager to take part in these little adventures

We’ve got so back here the toxic gas trap upon stepping on it will unleash a huge cloud of gas now you can escape this and you’ll stop being hit with poison but the moment you step back into it you’ll start getting poisoned instantly and it works on mobs too so if

The mob does not move he will continue to be poisoned until the Trap eventually wears off which it will do the traps do not last for that long but let’s get them again yeah come on go ahead and get pushed on now it does have an area of

Effect you’ll see I didn’t actually trigger the Trap but my friend did here I’m still getting hit from pretty far away so it’s actually a pretty good trap especially if you decide to put some of these in your dungeons hey man well the thing with poison as you can see is

Poison never actually kills you but he was left with one half heart oh man the Fist of Fury right there all right let’s go ahead and heal up and you’ll show and you I will show off the next chapter we have here which is the fire trap now

What the fire trap does is well you know you probably guess it sets you on fire it actually has a really cool effect as well you’ll see we step on it they all have really neat particle effects you kind of see it shoots off a bunch of flames and particles and fire effects

Just like that pretty cool stuff now the next trap is paralyzed now paralyze upon stepping on this you’ll get a few different status effects but most importantly you won’t be able to move I’m you hear that I’m trying actively to jump right now it is not letting me jump you’re

Given slowness weakness and jump boost so you can’t really punch anything you can’t jump around and you can’t move until the paralyzed trap is completely done so if you step on these and there’s some mobs nearby you’re in for some problems now over here is the poison

Trap Works similar to the toxic gas trap except it just simply poisons you and it deals a huge chunk of damage right off the bat this one you cannot run from you just have to deal with the poison for as long as it lasts but that’s okay we’re

All nice and healed up now now over here is the alarm trap we’re gonna skip that for the time being we’re gonna go over the lightning trap next now the lightning trap is a lovely Periwinkle blue oh here come here buddy now this isn’t jobstick so don’t worry about it that’s

Just a plain old chick we’re gonna push him right into that hey buddy oh I guess I guess he was already here now what the lightning trap does is upon doing stepping on the lightning trap you’ll see a bunch of little electric particles fill the air and you’ll get dealt

Fat jolt to damage you step on two of those in a row you’re in for some issues my friend watch we’ll do it right now heal up check it out just like that you’re dead shoot forgot my showcase there is so far away uh all right now A couple more traps to show

Off here we’ve got ourselves the grip trap now the grip trap is a nice gray trap and upon stepping on this guy you’re hit with slowness and wither too but I am an idiot because I am in game mode one right now so we’re gonna set that back up real quick we’re gonna

Switch back over to Game Mode zero yes and you’re gonna see exactly what it’s supposed to do which is whether you hardcore you got some nasty Wither on you and you can hardly see your hearts so you don’t know how much damage you’re down it also gives you a nasty slowness

2 effect now over here we’ve got ourselves a Summoner trap now this one is rather fun but for this one we’re gonna go ahead and switch it over to night time but not before I do slash spawn point so I don’t have to keep having to teleport over here each time

The Summoner trap upon stepping on this will do as you might have figured summon it will summon two zombies ready to take you out instantly stay back fiends I gotta watch it you ready for this they can they can uh oh let’s just load it up right now oh

Baby oh man they’re hitting me real good heal quick all right let’s um what else we’ll do lightning and a grip on them all right all right boys come on at me I can’t wait for this yeah well they’re stuck looks like they’re not being do they I think they just missed the

Poison oh I got stuck in the paralyze oh no oh baby come on stay back stay back I gotta let him hit the lightning come on hit the Lightning Man Ride the Lightning Ride the Lightning get it yeah get caught on fire so what you know heal

That up it is now daytime it is now peaceful mode you guys ain’t got nothing on me so the Summoner trap is what summons in two zombies to fight you now the last trap here is the alarm trap we’re gonna go ahead and set this trap off right now

And it’s gonna make an interesting noise yes that is the noise that happens when the Trap has been set off rather when the alarm has been set off now if you’re wondering specifically what that kind of means well I’ll show you right now once again we’ll go into normal mode

Going to night time here and I’ve got this button over here oh no I’m sorry friend you got to stay back we put it back to Peaceful we don’t want too many mobs spawning so what this does is mobs can only see you from so far away like

These guys can kind of see me from this distance which is not good so I’m going to go ahead and change that command to be creeper so that they don’t see me I’ll be right back that works better this way anyway so we’re now gonna have a bunch of creepers oops let’s switch

Modes get it together Tyler press the button we’re spawning a bunch of creepers right over there you’ll notice they are too far for their player detection system to be able to pick me up and see that I’m over here but now what the alarm trap is going to do once

We activate it here is it’s going to I think it’s double their view distance so right now they can’t see me but we set off this alarm look what happens suddenly they are all aware that I’m here now tell me that isn’t one of the creepiest

Things you’ve ever seen all the month up start coming at you instantly but don’t worry they ain’t gonna blow up Jack they’re all gone now so using these in conjunction with each other you can make for some really interesting traps and I’m going to show

Off a couple of those right now now this first one should be fun right over here we have ourselves a lot of Summoner traps now the fun thing about Summoner traps as you might know is that they work with Mobs as we saw just a little bit ago so what we’re

Gonna be able to see here in just a second is we’re going to spawn in a nice zombie friend we’re just gonna spawn in one and you’re gonna see instantly what happens you ready for this yeah oh my gosh talk about a combo breaker do you see they all activated

Each other because the two that spawn in activate the two next to him which activate the two next to them decorate the two next to them etc etc so you could have a lot of fun doing that one I’ll tell you what now in this situation obviously it’s a stretch but

I’ve I’ve trapped myself this example is more for anyone that might be interested in making maps with the pixel traps vanilla Minecraft thing whatever we’re doing right now I’m sorry it’s just really cool okay so over here we’re stuck there’s no way for us to get out

Just Out Of Reach though are some iron bars with pressure plates at the end that I don’t know might help us Escape however in addition to being just Out Of Reach the creepers that are spawned in over here that would normally come at us are just out of our follow range

So they don’t know they’re not gonna know hey come step on this pressure plate until I do this and suddenly look at this pressure plate is now activated time to escape boys and women that’s what I’m talking about you can do so much with these traps I have not even scratched

The surface of some of the awesome combos I mean look we got Summoner grip lightning alarm poison paralyzed fire toxic gas you could make a Summoner trap trigger a paralyze and a poison toxic gas to get you stuck and poison you well they have at you with the swords that
