Minecraft Dungeons Gameplay Walkthrough Part 20 – Lost Settlement! Bonus Level!

Hello zebraherd welcome back to minecraft dungeons today we’re heading back into of course the creeping winter dlc we’re doing the law settlement bonus level in today’s episode of course we’ve completed the main area last episode with the loan fortress now we’re doing lost settlement a snowflake in a blizzard long ago a group

Of miners built a settlement on the shores of the great lake to harness the power entered powerful energies hidden under the surface but as time passed the settlement was forgotten and now the creeping winter has locked it away in ice who would have who would be brave enough to face the

Elements and rediscover the magic of the this lost settlement okay there’s a bit of a typo towards the end of that but either way um it looks like we have enough power to actually tackle this on not default but adventure made maybe or not that’s a weird jump like recommended power for

The lowest level of adventure is 56 but the highest for default is 33 like that’s such an awkward little jump there it is what it is we’ll go through it either way and just have some fun with it and hopefully maybe we’ll get a level up in today’s episode we are level 49

So close to the big five i would love to get it we’ll have to go and find out so here we are in this lost settlement so can we go into this over here i guess not i already hear what sounded like a villager

Oh you know it was these guys it was the yellow jersey all right let’s make sure we get these guys huh i know yeah we got our brand new ice rod that i’m still trying to figure out a little bit that was good that stun’s a bunch of them

Yeah we’re working on a couple of things i do need to complete missions of course to uh get some other things unlocked but hopefully everything goes well today i’ve already taken a little bit more damage than i prefer but that’s all right we’ll just make they make the most of everything use some

Fire arrows as well been a couple days to the last point so it might be a bit rusty but it is what it is there we go much better oh got some tnt as well i angered the polar bear though i’m sorry polar bear oh that was fine that was fine

All right wow so far there’s just sort of like a lot of enemies just sort of streaming in gotcha okay come on we can keep up with this especially since like i said the power level is so low you’d think it wouldn’t be too much of an issue let’s get that

Boom that’s so good i do like that i’ll have to sort of practice it more try to make the most of it but so far that’s fantastic but hopefully as we play we can unlock more power-ups like that that would be fun um excuse me i’d rather not deal with that

There we go okay you guys can have that one man and i’ll stun a whole bunch of them so that i can get rid of these guys so we don’t have a ton of arrows right now so we really need to utilize everything else that we have

If we can is there anything down in this corner not looking like it okay so far not too bad we’re just sort of trying to walk out the ice is slippery again apparently we got some kind of achievement for slipping on ice for a certain period of time so that’s pretty cool

New objective to activate the bridges will do but i like how we can hit him with a little bit of hot a little bit of cold with her axe and the fire arrows as well as like with the ice rod so that’s pretty cool there we go gotcha

So so far they’re having a hard time keeping up with us let’s keep it that way oh we got all the this the frozen zombies nice okay so this is one of the bridge activators i guess i guess we gotta go over there though to activate the other side that’s a little

Weird then what would be the point of the bridge i’m not sure maybe i’m misinterpreting that we’ll look around for some more buttons oh wow whoa whoa whoa he actually got me pretty well trapped there that was not there before that giant ice block that’s it

Right next to me that was weird i’m pretty sure that wasn’t there before odd can i get up here it doesn’t look like okay be careful this guy and be sure to grab some more arrows we’re starting to climb up with arrows here’s another one i’m sick of these guys

They’re not very fun to deal with and this is definitely a dead end so we’ll check it out oh we got some enchanted enemies now definitely want to take them down there we go yeah i kept on calling these guys with their skeletons before i’m sorry about that they’re strays

I got the wrong terminology and this might be a little bonus area we’ll take out who we can oh you get rid of the creepers right away don’t want to deal with those guys if i don’t have to gotcha gotcha angie where do you think you’re going

And also if you have any extra time at the end of today’s episode i would like to try the daily challenge for the first time if not we can always put that in its own episode uh oh my hey hey that’s what i was gonna do to you

I don’t know where he went though ah that was painful come on come on gotcha and we got a chest for that which has the spelunker armor i don’t really need that too much i don’t think looks like it’s worse than what i currently have but hey it’s there glad to know

So going back over this way then i’m guessing there’s sort of just like this main portion i can’t quite reach for now but we’ll get there uh yeah and i guess we’re good to go down the spine just trying to make sure i don’t miss anything important along the way

We can just make sure we get as much as possible there we go and what about up here probably the same deal yeah i can already see the wall see this will be the last episode technically of finding new things in the creeping winter dlc i had a lot of fun with it

You know it was a really fun dlc like i said i think i like the jungle one better i forget what it’s called but uh i think i like that one better i i enjoyed both of them i think they were both worthwhile little upgrades and

I really hope this isn’t it i mean i would think so because we talked about this before it seems like there’s still more available to be added to the game that they’ve left in there like there’s like the little nether portal and everything and this whole extra story about the chunks of

The the cube or whatever it is the artifact that the um arch illuger was using that’s still sort of going on it seems so like i think that there is going to be more at least it seems like they’re planning on it is that everything i guess so is it bridge working

Indeed it is very nice so now we can move across here um and if it is that’s great because that means of course we get to play more of it just sort of get better at the game and get farther into it and everything and i think that as i’ve said before i

Would love to see new environments that haven’t been explored too much like the mesa or the nether or the end i feel like that’d be cool they have to have the nether and the enemies you know those are two areas that have to be explored in the game like this

Because they’re so cool on their own like i just imagine exploring and taking on like a ghast or something in this game would be awesome that is like an opportunity that they cannot be missed you know so let’s hope it doesn’t either way we’re gonna move over here

Not bad not bad moving let’s use our fire arrows if we can we have a lot of arrows now so i can start using them a little bit more often oh i didn’t even know i had a tnt but i do sorry polar bears okay polar bears are tough though they

Took the shot from the tnt i guess maybe those were different polar bears i’m not sure getting a lot of the snow bows which is unfortunate because i just don’t really need it too much but strength potion okay now you’re all in trouble very good and we’re still searching apparently we’re looking for

The lost settlement what do we got going on around here this doesn’t even look icy but we’re slipping around on it i guess it sort of looks like slush when it gets all dirty and gross all the the snow and ice okay so let’s definitely get you while you’re

Enchanted hopefully that counts for our one goal really kick out enchanted enemies there we go very nice definitely get some extra damage oh boy oh boy be careful gotcha gotcha whoa no thank you and there we go we got ourselves some frost armor this is unique

Oh i love unique armor um frost armor 299 health emits a chilling aura 35 damage reduction and 50 freezing resistance that’s really good for a specific area um and really there’s nothing here i’m like oh i need this you know what i mean um this legendary armor forged from ice that never melts

Makes the wearer feel as if they are one with winter and it definitely has some good upgrades here so we can just go ahead and plop that on already it is like three points lower but with two upgrade slots i think we could find something so we have tumblebee chance to summon a

B when you roll without the three b’s joining your side we also have a health synergy we’re not dividing any artifact you regain a small amount of health and then finally recycler being hit by damage inflicting projectiles will occasionally craft the small cliff rivera’s i think out of all of these

I think uh health synergy would be the best motion what we got here we get the flight gets a small chance of deflecting incoming projectiles surprise gift whenever you use a healing potion sometimes create random consumables and thorns whenever you take damage you deal damage right to the attacker

Okay so i’m gonna go with this and if i have that i feel like maybe we’ll just try the b one sure 101 chance to summon that seems weird so there’s gonna summon a b so i could just keep doing that and just summon like a little army of bees

That sounds like it could actually be really overpowered if done correctly just like make sure i roll every chance i again there’s my swift this potion because you can see on the on the right side of the uh the main hud bar on the bottom how often

Or how soon i can roll around again so the bees are just around is there supposed to be like a that’s supposed to be an artifact or something that spawns bees sounds like i’ve experienced that so far they don’t really do too much they’re just sort of floating around

But hopefully they can catch up to some of the larger groups of enemies and help me fight them there we go oh my you know what i got my own giant ice cube thank you very much at the least it might steal the attention of some of the mobs and

They’ll attack that instead looks like it I’m sure it might be more useful on something like if we’re all focusing on one big foe like a boss fight i don’t know if i’ll keep with this armor but it is very fascinating it’s our first time getting this legendary or unique armor all right let’s get some of that we get

Some arrows for it which way we’re supposed to begin looks like yeah we’re supposed to be going to the right so we’re going to go up and stat oh here’s a big group of them let’s use that oh that was good let’s send a bunch of them

It seems the bees were doing something here there’s obviously a lot of action happening it can be hard to tell but it seems like so far so good there’s a lot of enemies around here actually let’s make the most of this and we’re chilling people around us that’s sort of

The big thing is that it does have a chilling aura and there’s a level up we are level 50 which is great i probably shouldn’t check right now oh my oh my bad combo here though with the ice guys and the guys who make the totems

So i’m trying to get rid of them however i can being a bit of a challenge now there we go come on keep out keep on it all right then let’s heal could have been worse could have been worse and i actually don’t really need to put any points into anything

Yeah we’re level 50 now we have only one extra point and it was all a dead end oh well it is what it is how are we doing with secrets we got three out of the six chests zero out of the one secrets nothing hidden over here that i see oh

Let’s create more bees because they don’t need to be timed at all as you can see oh but i can have a maximum of three b’s is that it oh no they do get timed it just it doesn’t really show you the timer okay let’s enjoy our three b’s as much as possible

There’s lots of enemies around here wow that hurt definitely grab that health potion if i can without getting too hurt okay i’m making some major mistakes here the screen is super zoomed down i guess just because of how many enemies there are i don’t know which way is the best way to go

We’re going this way is that a good idea i’m sure we’re going to find out soon that hurt yeah i’ll probably go down this way and then backtrack the other way it’s looking like it because we’re apparently crossing the ice wall as our next goal in the lost settlement

Gotcha well i definitely want to try to get as close to 100 as possible when taking out enemies that’s always what i’m trying to get done i don’t think i’ve ever gotten 100 of all enemies taken out i don’t know how i think it’s just something with the red generation of the

Game it’s not always possible to just see them all or something either way that wasn’t bad we got everything taken out which is what i’m looking for okay now we got more enemies hey guys you’re going down yeah i feel like we’ve gotten pretty good at the game at this point we’re

Able to keep up with it especially when we’re at like this level of difficulty we can just handle this because it’s so far above what it required and that’s where the daily challenges i’m sure will be fun and hopefully we’ll run into new stuff like new artifacts and stuff

That would be fun gotcha gotcha so once again this stuff sort of splits apart but then comes back together yep so i just got to sort of look out for everything oh here’s some extra supplies even though our 304 now 396 arrows that’s a lot of arrows

So i don’t know what’s to the left i looked at that had its own path and this doesn’t really have anything no enemies at all so what do we got back over here i don’t know this is like weirdly off to the side there’s just a chest chilling out sweet

Hey i’ll take it whoa we’ll get ourselves a cutlass don’t really need it but good to have something to exchange for emeralds so what is this all about this is just like its own area it’s just all chilling out over here i mean maybe

I need to do all this to cross the ice wall anyways i just wasn’t paying attention to the context of it who knows oh here we go that was great i still have to destroy this thing but that definitely helped do some damage to it she even unlocked chill out oh so i

Hadn’t actually quite gotten that one done all right i guess it was showing me that was making progress with it but yeah there was that achievement very fun very cool but that’s just for sliding on ice a bunch but yeah i’m just sort of going through this and pressing a bunch of buttons

I don’t know what those buttons are going to end up doing but that was a really nice ice block there i really do like that ice wand like it’s really good okay what is that i don’t know but it didn’t seem like it was a good idea to just touch it like that

Okay enemies are starting to pop up a bit right now it’s just mostly a bunch of creepers that was weird i don’t know why but it was like my character was not attacking gotcha oh here comes some more i was hoping that’d be the last of it

My hope was misplaced no the potions they fell right off there’s so many enemies where did i go oh i fell how embarrassing okay back over here we got plenty of guys to take down let’s get to it very nice i’m thinking i might want to upgrade this bow soon

There we go come on come on nice all right got the cooked salmon got the cutlass and plenty of emeralds but i’m worried that this bow is falling off with damage at 41. which isn’t too bad for sure but look at these guys they were very blue for some

Reason i guess because they’re frozen and i’m also have like the freezing aura around them it just makes them extra frozen by the way that seems to be everything so is that just a lot of enemies to take out did that activate something about the ice wall

Maybe i guess we have to go back and find out yeah this ice armor looks so cool fits the area quite nicely too hmm and there’s not too much up here a lot of empty space around this area for whatever reason i wonder if we’re about to face like a

Boss or something explore the forest i’d love to i like exploring what about over here nothing all right let’s get back to the other side i got stuck on a one little post there will there be anything of interest there’s a pot yay that’s it so let’s keep moving forward

It’s getting more and more ominous as we move through like what happened in this place like it just has not turned out very well for them this is a huge tree hmm would it like it is there’s also just no enemies at all which i think adds to

The eeriness like usually there’s at least bad guys occupying this space but when there’s nothing nobody that’s when it feels a little bit odd here are those enemies i was missing you guys let’s get a little lonely not gonna go up that way just yet because there still is more to do around

Here there might be another secret i would love to find it if there is apparently i have not found the one secret that there actually is despite my best efforts okay and then back over this one whoa not too much else going on oh there’s an emerald i don’t know where

That came from that was just chilling out there oh objective enter the lost settlement sounds like fun oh boy i like these tents they’re very cool looking i wish you could make stuff like that in the actual game sometimes like how has that nice gold trim to it and

Stuff there’s just some little elements like that you just can’t really do in minecraft sometimes i mean hopefully one day that would be awesome but i guess what to wait and see i just hope for the best i like how that even in everything is just slippery

Maybe that has to do with my armor nope it doesn’t that’s weird isn’t it just like everything in this area is slippery even the not icy things weird what is this i don’t know oh i guess it’s like one of those things like pummels big doors down

It’s like you could siege castles and stuff interesting speaking of which here’s the big castle what are we gonna do about all that so i might just wait for all the enemies to pop up break the siege oh see we’re gonna fight the horde right now

It’s so slippery oh my goodness i think it gets more slippery the more we go on maybe that’s the curse of the creeping winter everything kept slippery here that’d be a weird curse all right so far we’re getting rid of everybody pretty well i’ll do that and get double strength

Potion i don’t know if that stacks or not it probably doesn’t i should have sort of patted it out a little bit but it is what it is gotcha and there we go retake the settlement don’t mind if i do there’s a lot of enchanted enemies around here

At least a lot more than normal there we go oh we got ourselves some more snow armor which is different than our unique ice armor or whatever it is you know in this building if that’s something they’ve been doing a lot more is you can go into the little buildings

Like typically you can’t do that but now you can and that’s a fun touch but it means i also could be a little bit more diligent oh you know what i should be going the other way if we take the settlement what was once lost is what this one is called

See this was a one point like a lot of the other villages we have explored through uh one point of thriving village doing well but now it has fallen to bad circumstance how are we doing with emeralds 4 000 that’s actually not too bad at all

We’ll be able to spend some of that at the end of today’s episode that’ll be nice see that zombie oh some more enchanted enemies this one got some enchanted strays i’m gonna set that up oh now that’s a chest all right very nice and is that the secret that is

The secret what did we get we got we picked up wolf armor that’s okay i mean obviously we’ve uh we’ve gotten with farmer before so nothing too crazy there a lot of stuff will be recycling but now i just gotta run all the way back

I wish it was a bit of a shortcut there that’d be nice okay keep it going i use this potion now oh we’ll get with this potion nice see i do like that upgrade of getting potions when we use a potion it just makes everything extra beneficial there we go

So we’re back to taking on some enemies over here i’ll set that up get our strength potion trying to multitask a bit run around just get everybody what is down there anything ah oh uh where am i i’m down here that is so weird okay that knocked a couple of them around

Very good and there’s a chest waiting for us i’ll gladly take that oh speaking of chest one thing we got an illusion or attacking us i don’t know where he is oh he’s right here hey buddy but i do see that pig with the chest up there okay get him quick

We got him a little bit but they’re still i don’t know which one was the real one well let’s see if the ice block helps out at all it’d be nice if we could stun them i think this is a real one oh no that’s not my chance though is there two

Illusioners no too many okay luckily we’re still firmly above 400 arrows so it should be okay here okay well that’s not really where i meant to put that almost on my there we go and did we get him no his health bar still there oh there we go very nice that took a

Good chunk of work but what are you doing he was freaking out what happened to the chest what he dropped an item but he didn’t really drop a chest that was weird maybe like immediately picked it up without even realizing it well there’s another one right here and

This is gonna be seven out of seven as far as i can tell yeah all right well we did a good job hopefully we’ll find more still because sometimes that does happen and there was still enemies up there i don’t know if i can quite reach them

I was able to reach them enough okay we did a great job we’re gonna head out of here and see what’s next because it seems like to me we retook the settlement unless there’s just more settlement to take oh there might be there’s something coming up oh is this gonna be a boss

Fight or something activate the relic there’s gonna be a lot of enemies i’m sure wow this is cool looking new event arena battle banish the invaders all right if you say so defend the round like does a relic have like health or something i would be worried about this is very

Cool this is a lot different a lot more in depth than i feel like the panda one was from the jungle awakens so i guess like you know this does definitely give the creeping winter some bonus points maybe they are a little bit more even than i thought in terms of everything

There we go i mean definitely if you also consider activate stage two uh oh wow this is interesting but if you consider uh awesome the update that adds all the new shop merchants and stuff this is definitely the best of the update the game has had so far

But i was also just trying to like specifically look into the dlc the thing that you pay for not the free update and like see what the benefits are of that but i definitely think it’s worth it no matter what i don’t i even if it isn’t as good as jungle awakens

It’s still very good anyways we’re sort of getting frozen here i gotta be careful oh he got zen flying that’s what i’m talking about okay so that was good it’s saying now to activate stage three i mean sure why not gotta do that over here whoa whoa we got a big illusion now

Get rid of all the normal enemies first and try to find out which one is the real one maybe one of these two okay it’s definitely this guy uh i got a couple of shots on them but or maybe not though there’s more oh oh we got him good there we go that

Critical hit on him okay drink that i think i also got maybe another potion there that was a little weird that must have been the real one because i was hitting him with the fire damage and everything because he’s also spawning in the settlement is safe i’m not

Done what is it doing that’s so weird i still have the illusion to take out here there’s clearly enemies like right in front of me that’s odd oh is that the real one right here i guess sound oh i’m actually a little enough i gotta be careful Okay come on there we go now we got him so now the settlement is actually safe could i have just ran off and ended the level real quick while we were fighting him that’s sort of funny but there we go victory and achieving a lot lost in the snow which i can only

Imagine as an achievement for collecting or completing of the creeping woods level so that was a lot of fun um zero players downed it doesn’t tell us how many enemies we got but we did over 200 000 damage and we got a chest which i don’t think is gonna have anything new

For us it’s gonna be shock powder but hey lots of fun we can take one quick look at all the merchants and see what’s going on we got ourselves a um robe i don’t think i need that we also have a dual dual crossbows dual crossbows is the perfect choice

For warrior with quick reflexes in the fast-paced battle i don’t think we’ve ever seen these let’s buy this there we go um on top of that what do we get i really got the blacksmith we still need to do one more mission for this and yeah i need to defeat the

Archeologist on a higher difficulty for that one uh what did i just do i don’t know okay um over this we got the luxury merchant what is he selling he has these soul crossbow we’ve seen these before i don’t know if this one’s better that’s sort of the weird thing it doesn’t tell

You here for no reason that one’s 47. so it is higher i just don’t know if it’s i should probably get it because it could work well with the site that we have that could be a build and that’s where it’s just like it’s worth holding on the stuff now because

We can upgrade that no no i don’t restock i want to buy this there we go 710 spending a pretty penny at the moment but we’re also going to recycle some stuff the mystery merchant has some stuff as well i don’t think that’s worth it at the moment

There we go there’s all the extra stuff that is so much fun i’m having a lot of fun with this game and all that kind of cool stuff let’s check that out then we’ve got this dual crossbow what’s up with this wow yeah this is new

For us so we certainly want to try this i’m gonna keep at that but yeah it’s cool that we got the level 50 as well i’m gonna keep that gonna keep this um in terms of like other weapons now let’s salvage this one and that one we

Still have this i definitely need to sort of like look into that of it wait did i just no okay um but these snow bows i really don’t need much of and all this stuff as well i will when did i do this i’m so clumsy

No wait there i’m so very clumsy i’m glad i didn’t like just accidentally recycle that armor i don’t know when i did that i think that i’m just gonna go ahead and uh toss this one well that gave us you know all of our points back so that’s nice

But i guess i want to keep this wasn’t it the phantom armor and this shock powder it’s definitely better than this one so we’ll salvage that one for 48 emeralds so we’re back up to almost 4 000 which is always good okay corrupted seeds uh okay nothing i have to worry about in

Cosmetics of course with the arctic fox so there we go there’s technically every level collected or completed in the creeping winter maybe soon we’ll do an episode focused on um some of the daily trials if you guys want to see that be sure to let me know
