After the first soul the player can use the Lightning rod, however each additional soul will result in a more powerful strike. He gameplay features a power level in which each soul will do approximately ¼ of a skeleton’s HP, though results will vary significantly as the player’s item power and game difficulty change. Soul consumption reaches a limit , using approximately 1/6 of the total capacity if available. Soul absorption does not have a limit, Acting like HP, where more souls after filling the bar are absorbed but have no effect. When the player uses the artifact an AoE indicator will appear. Reactivating the artifact before the lightning strikes will cancel the use at no cost. Activating the artifact while mousing over terrain will have the AoE follow the mouse.
