Hey what’s going on guys and gals welcome to my minecraft Lego texture pack tutorial and toured in this video I will show you it’s a beautiful view isn’t it I will show you how to download install and enjoy this awesome amazing Lego texture pack by Benjamin astir by The way today is june 17th 2014 and i have looked at this pack way back when in 2011 and i figured today would be a perfect day to revisit this texture pack and share with you all once again for two reasons number one that was an old Video and it is now outdated slightly obviously installation instructions anyway and i think it an update is probably due and secondly today is the day where my lego movie is released the one for 2014 with will ferrell it’s an awesome movie i highly recommend it and since we’re big Lego and minecraft fans Here at my house we just felt like making a kind of a celebration video so there you go thanks Tony mmm delicious and now I’m all hydrated and ready for my tour you do recycle don’t you catch good good man good man Tony alright let’s leave Tony’s tavern and Let’s go take a little hike here I want to show you guys some of the textures so this particular map that we’re looking at right now is an old town that I used in a series of mine called tale of King doulas so this town was actually built With an older version of Minecraft it doesn’t have any of the newer 1.7 or one even 1.6 blocks but this the texture pack does indeed support 1.7 at least according to the website and we’re going to go take a look at least at one other map once we get through here and I’ll Show you that some of the stained glass and some of the new wood that was added in 1.7 but this old town is mostly wood we’ve got some cobblestone here obviously some some oak wood planks this is wool here we’ve got glowstone clearly everything looks like Lego bricks we’ve Got the little nub on the bricks right not on everything of course but on many of the full-size blocks this is clearly grass again this is oh this is just regular white wool this is stone brick that up there I believe is regular brick there’s iron bars oh did you see The fire I think I have oh I do have a way to make fire let’s do it somewhere safe here in the middle of town next to the tree isn’t that awesome if you’re familiar with Legos you know that the Lego piece oh geez is it spreading the Lego fire piece does actually look like that doesn’t it and by the way it does burn if you get on it it does also provide light so it acts just like regular minecraft fire because because it looks cute and Lego II doesn’t mean it’s not gonna hurt put that out before For burn old town down torches also check out the torches they look like Lego torches don’t they that’s really cool let’s go take a look at the library Shh there’s the books looks pretty awesome there’s more fire in a fireplace now again this map was built with just the Standard old blocks mostly oak brick and cobblestone and stone brick and here we are at the town square where we have several water fountains of course these blocks are not animated however you can hear them flowing at the very least I think these are half stone slabs right Here these gentlemen are standing on how’s the water fella still splashes doesn’t it still splashes and makes bubbles very cool everybody wants to go buy cakes from Nancy’s bakery but Nancy was arrested we found out that she was a witch so sorry fellas and ladies but the Nancy’s bakery is closed until further Notice oh dear look go down that alley all right so I think you guys get the idea of how bro all the blocks look I don’t think I need to show them all to you but that should give you a pretty good idea okay how about a quick flyover we’ll go Right over the guild which is obviously mostly stone wool stone brick and wood and let’s head over here to the natural landscape where we have hills and mountains and forests and you guys can see what the Lego blocks look like in its natural habitat there’s a little Waterfall at a lovely bright blue crisp blue color isn’t it and some gravel there It’s another for us we have here here’s a birch tree with the birch leaves some sand here on the beach and yes a burning village oh there’s some netherrack here it’s that red stuff that’s netherrack and how about if we go over to a swamp So this map is not going to have any of the newer biomes but I will switch over to a map and show you at least a savanna so that you can see you know 1.7 being represented in this Lego pack here’s a nifty bird’s-eye view of punch wood city Looks really cool as a Lego village doesn’t it I think it’s awesome okay we do have a swamp over here somewhere oh there it is see the vines hanging here in the swamp I I’m not sure if lily pads are actually in this version of Minecraft when I did this series but you Can see the vines here anyway in the swamp pretty cool stuff oh it’s snow okay that’s snow on top of the top of the block there’s a couple of our hostile denizens of the world here in the Lego universe let me just show you what happens when they catch on fire This is that awesome this Lego fire get to the water quick oh gee so close okay and for the last bit of this tour I just wanted to show you guys a newer structure built with 1.7 blocks this is a beach bungalow made with a case you Would so the case you would obviously in the planks anyway has not been changed in case you would a tree trunk is definitely been modified to match a lego style and here’s the acacia tree all its glory you can see that that’s been modified very cool and lastly for This tour a lovely blue lagoon all legalized and there’s the beach bungalow from water view I forget to mention the stained glass okay well I think that’s it for now I hope you guys enjoyed the tour and now we’re going to do is go do a installation tutorial it’s really very Simple now with resource packs but I’ll walk you through the process and only take about a minute alright as promised I’ll now show you guys how to download and install the Lego texture packs so first things first you just want to load up your browser go to google and type in Lego pack like so Ellie Gopa K and hit enter or what have you and oh by the way here’s my old Lego texture pack tutorial and tor goes back to march 9th 2011 like I said very old but what we’re interested in is this top hit right here In most cases it will be the top one anyway it’s Lego pak el que la DD and you click on one end and then you’re going to get here to the main website click on download and you’ll see this download button here and also this link So just go ahead and grab it and these stuff installation instructions are right here as well in case you get stuck but I’m going to walk through the entire thing anyway and we’re going to note where this file is going to be downloaded I have a special downloads Folder you can drop it on your desktop wherever helps you decide to put it and just keep that default name Lego pack dot zip is perfectly fine if you use Chrome like I do you’ll get this lovely bar down on the bottom here which makes it really simple to get to that location Simply by dropping that arrow down and saying and clicking on show in folder and there it be so now you want to do this you want to get to that folder and you want to copy that right-click and copy or select it in ctrl C which I was going to do but you Wouldn’t be able to see that now would you so alright and now the next step now that is copied into memory go ahead and run minecraft and I’ll show you how to get to the resource pack folder really simple we’re going to run 1.7.9 that’s going to boot on up and Then you’re going to go to your options folder options button resource packs and you’ll see this right here you’ve got the default selected already and no others available at least for now but if we click on the open resource pack folder like so right click in here On the right hand side and click on paste Lego pack huzzah and then if we close that and go back to it it should show Lego pack dot zip there it is Benjamin astir awesome we’re going to click that little arrow to throw it over in the right-hand side Click on done and bam easy as pie and now we can jump into one of our games and take a look and voila we are back in the tail of kingdoms map at the burning village which I don’t think the king ever got around to saving maybe in part Two so keep your eyes open for that and if you’re interested in tale of kingdoms go ahead and watch I’ll put a link to that down below as well very cool mod I loved it my favorite mod um in Minecraft in fact tale of kingdoms along with mo Creatures my two favorite mods I should say that was a fun fun series anyway so there you go folks I hope you all enjoyed and I guess we’ll see you in the next episode if you did enjoy a lake on the video as always appreciate it so go Ahead and leave a comment and like if you will and I guess we’ll see you all next time alright take care bye bye oh I guess if you want to go let me show you how to go back to your old resource pack if you want to just go back to the Default just take this one out and hit done that’s it and you can do that right in game mats there’s the difference right there pretty interesting huh all right and with that it is now time to say goodbye goodbye You Video Information
