Hello everyone sally here welcome back to another minecraft tutorial in this one i’ll be showing you how to build a rather simple cheap and honestly kind of efficient netherworld farm for your world this netherworm farm is probably unlike anything that you’ve ever seen before because it actually has you Manually harvesting the nether wart by hand and now don’t click off this video quite yet there’s actually a very good reason why you would want to harvest your nether water by hand and that is that if you do it correctly you can actually get about 30 to 50 percent more Netherwart per harvest so honestly quite the increase in crops and the method that we’re going to be using to actually harvest all of our netherwart is is simply by using a fortune 3 tool like this pickaxe right here now if you are not aware harvesting crops in minecraft With a fortune 3 tool will actually drop more crops per harvest so this doesn’t just affect netherware this is also for carrots and potatoes wheat beat roots and things like that so just a little bit of a pro tip for you so in this one Section right here we have a four by 48 block long section of a warts and that is 192 plants if you were to harvest that by hand or using pistons or water streams or any form of automated harvesting system you would get yourself approximately a 600 netherwart which is Just over nine stacks as you can see here however if you were to go ahead and harvest this same 192 plants using a fortune 3 tool then you will actually get yourself around about 900 netherward as you can see that is quite the significant increase several stacks over What you would get by harvesting it with pretty much any other method that there is so if you want a simple and easy to build farm that is really cheap early game then definitely go ahead and build this one it’s also kind of aesthetically pretty pleasing as well it’s not too Hard to decorate this whatsoever so real quick i do want to mention that this farm actually does work on all platforms so right now we are on java edition but i know that this also works on legacy console edition and it also does work on a bedrock edition but Bedrock has a slightly longer reach so all you need to do to modify this farm before bedrock is simply make all of these rows a five wide instead of four and that is pretty much all that there is to it so let’s go ahead and do a little demonstration shall we so we’re Just going to break four of these with our fist and as you can see we got ourselves 11 in netherwart just throw those in the void we’re now going to harvest the four of these with a fortune 3 tool so one two three and four and see We got 16 not too bad and then we’ll just harvest a couple of these with this pickaxe which is really driving home the point that fortune has an incredible effect on netherwart so that’s the mechanics and the reasoning behind why you would actually build this farm and Now how do you actually use it well besides needing to get yourself one fortune three tool of any type uh basically what you do is you just kind of sit in this minecart here press this button and then look towards this wall and just hold down your left click Button or your mining button and you will harvest all of these guys in no time at all it does take two passes to actually get every single one of them but that is not a problem whatsoever and yeah as you can see they’re all just now Kind of sitting there you can then go ahead and press this button right here which will fire all of your minecart hoppers and they’ll go all the way down to the end to collect all of your minecarts or all of your netherward rather and then they will go down to This end right here and where you can then access them or fill them up or take items out pretty easily so we can reach in there and as you can see all of these have quite a bit of netherware in them now i just have some temporary storage right Down here but that is not really important you can have your storage wherever you want two little notes about that harvest is as you can see our pickaxe has not lost any durability whatsoever so you can use the same tool with this farm forever and it will never Take a single point of damage which is really nice and as you can see we’ve also we got all of this additional netherward that we picked up now this is kind of a design feature uh that way we actually have something to replant our farm with so as you know each one of These rows is 48 blocks long we have four of them so we got 48 for that one 48 for that one 48 for that one and 48 for that one any additional ones that we do not need we can just go ahead and throw down here and that is kind of why We have the trapdoors and then all the additional wart that you picked up will kind of just go off to your storage system so this farm right here is technically three farms a tiled together and you can really make this farm pretty much whatever size you like there’s only two Dimensions that you are limited by one is that you need to have this be four wide if you do not have this b4 wide then it will pretty much be broken so when you’re in a minecart you cannot reach that back block right there but you can harvest all four of these wart So if you had this be three wide then you would be able to break your wall which is not a good thing if you had a five wide you wouldn’t be able to harvest all the wart so four wide is like the magic number here for your Actual reach distance and you can have this thing be a maximum of 64 blocks long before your hopper mine carts actually start to get filled up with nether warts and you actually start to lose stuff which of course is not a good thing alright so let’s hop into the tutorial Shall we so what i have here in front of us is kind of just a little mock-up of what the basic infrastructure of your farm is going to be this right here is going to be your floor layer and this right here is where your soul sand Actual rows are going to be going in place your actual walking row is going to be going right here down the center and then down here you’re basically just going to be having a whole bunch of rails and a few hoppers going into whatever storage system you’d like Probably a little item elevator maybe into a double chest where it’s more accessible i don’t really know i’m leaving storage up to you guys so once you have this little mock-up in place you need to decide how long you want your farm to be i would suggest 48 Blocks long that has worked very well for me and survival in the past however you can go all the way up to 64 blocks long you can have it be as short as just a single block which is extremely wasteful but you could do it if you want To it is minecraft after all but once you’ve decided how long you want your farm to be it is time to lay in your rails so basically on your hoppers right here you just want a piece of powered rail and then a normal rail one more powered rail right there and then eight Normal rails so one two three four five six seven eight and then a powered so i’m doing eight normal to one power you can of course make this all powered rail if you want you can add more power rail uh wherever you want basically but i Find that this is a pretty good number and to power this you can of course do redstone blocks in the floor super easy to build but slightly expensive or you can just do levers on the underside of the block pretty annoying to build in survival but it is of course much much cheaper An important note for the end of your rail lines is make sure that your rail lines go one block past where the end of your soul sand is so this is my 48th block of soul sand and my rails go on to 49th and that is because when minecarts Bounce they don’t really go all the way onto that block as you saw there so they actually stop directly underneath this thing it’s really weird how they function but it is what it is so just extend your rail lines by one so once you have all of your rail lines In you need to go ahead and then just fill in all of your soul sand and that is pretty much just as easy as it sounds to place in soul sand directly above your rails and that’s pretty much just all there is to that so now go back to The end of your farm and we need to install our trapdoors so place in some blocks just like so and then make these any kind of wooden trapdoors you like and then just go ahead and remove those blocks and once again and place down four pieces of redstone dust right there And a button right there and that will activate those powered rails sending all of your hopper minecarts on their way you can then go ahead and put in your hopper minecarts if you want and right here you can put any block that you like and just put like a solid block or full Block but i honestly like the look of stairs so that’s what i’m putting right there and above your redstone dust right here you can just go ahead and put carpet or you could put another type of trapdoor above there if you wanted to but carpet looks the finest and you can Also just cover up these with carpet if you feel like it but again you do kind of want to have access to these areas that way you can access the hopper mine carts and you can also you know throw in additional netherwort that you pick up From the farm so a little bit something like this is going to be the final look of your farm so this part is technically optional however it is really really nice to have yourself a semi afk rail line you just kind of hop in the mine cart you sit there you mine down The netherwork you get back to the end over here you don’t really need to do much you just press the button to collect the drops it is super convenient to have this rail line in place but if you don’t have the materials to build up a rail line then that is totally fine You can just walk down this edge and harvest all the netherwart that way and same thing goes for this rail line down here you wanted to go one block past where your soul sand ends and also you can just fill in this additional block right here doesn’t really matter Uh so from here you just want to go ahead and make sure that there is a too high wall going all the way around your netherwork farm uh that way no nether will land on these edges and you can collect everything that you actually harvest And now that our farm is built up we can go ahead and try it hop in the minecart press the button and start mining all of the fantastic netherwork this is honestly kind of fun and probably one of my favorite farms to use in minecraft just because it’s so red and nice By the way when it comes to tiling this farm it is extremely easy you just kind of build up the same thing that we did over there but with a one block gap in between the two sections and that is simply for your rail line slash walking Area and yeah there is really not much to this whatsoever for the hopper lines you kind of just connect them together and other than that you can kind of just rewatch the tutorial if you need to it is certainly not the most advanced netherworth farm nor is it the most Sophisticated netherworth farm but i do hope that it supplies you with a ton of netherware in your world it certainly has supplied me with war another word than i could ever need in the worlds that i have built it in so hopefully it does the same for you guys if you have Any questions or comments or concerns then please do let me know in the comment section down below and i will be trying to help you out as best as i can other than that if you In this Minecraft Tutorial i show you a very simple high efficiency nether wart farm! While unusual, it will provide about 30% more drops than any other nether wart farm! i’ve been using this exact design for a couple of years now, and i have to say, its pretty nice:) If you enjoyed this video, then consider leaving a like! Would be greatly appreciated! I’ll see you in the comments, and in the next video!
