Hey what’s up youtube in this video i’m showing you how to make a sonic themed house the idea here is this is sonic jumping on a jump pad whilst running and also grasping a gold ring at the same time this was inspired by quite a few of You that suggested after making my mario themed house that i try a sonic themed one as well by the way just in case you want to make that mario themed house and any other various weird types of builds and houses that i’ve made in the past check out the Card system i’ll be leaving loads of videos and playlists in there that you guys may want to check out also i am probably going to be designing an interior for sonic so look out for that both in the description below as well as the card system a few days after this Video has been posted the interior just to repeat it will be in the description below and in the card system a few days after this tutorial has been posted but that’s more than enough talking if you want to make sonic here’s what you’re going to need you actually need loads of Materials so grab yourself some white stained clay and some cyan stained clay you’ll also need some dark blue wool grab red wool pink light gray white we’ll also need a little bit of black what else will we need ladies and gentlemen we’ll also need we’ll need Some gold as well and we’ll also need a we don’t need iron ore do believe i said gold and we’ll just have to grab the other stuff as we need it because there’s nothing we can do about it so once you have each one of those materials right there and once you’ve Figured out where you want to make it i’ll be making it right here you’re going to want to kick off sonic with a row of six red wool on the floor so that’ll be one two three four five six now from this sixth red wall block if You’re looking at the ground like this because it’s easiest to do it this way do two upright diagonals from the sixth block with your red that’s one two then go up by five that’s one two three four five then do two up left diagonals one two Then go left by five one two three four five do two bottom left diagonals one two go down by five one two three four five connect back with a bottom right diagonal and you should have a circular shape drawn on the ground once you have your circular shape you then want to add An additional layer of red wool directly on top of it so not only do you want to have that first initial row of red wool stacked directly on top of your circle you want to have an additional layer of red thrown on top then take out your yellow wool and one Row higher and one row inwards in relation to your lovely red circle you want to have a row of yellow so do a row of yellow one row higher one row inwards in relation to your little red circle you want to have something which should look like this Once you’ve done that you now want to take out your light gray wool and one row inwards and one row higher than your yellow circular shape you want to have what is a light gray square shape above your yellow on top of your layer of light gray stack A layer of cyan stained clay this is the springy part of the little jump pad that sonic’s jumping on add an additional layer of light grey wool once you’ve added that layer of light gray wool take out your old pal the red wool again and add an additional layer Of red wool going all the way around the top of your light gray as a matter of fact you don’t want it going all the way around the top can you remember how we did it with the yellow wall how we kind of like cut off the corners so we have This sort of shape well that’s what you want to do with your red you want to emulate what you had with your yellow shape so you want to have this what you then want to do is after you have your kind of like broken circle of Red you want to one row higher and one row outwards you want to have a layer of red going all the way around at the top of your jump pad so this is essentially the exact same shape that we had right down at the bottom so let’s just have this Perfect what you can then do is add an additional layer of red wool above and outwards in relation to the layer of red that you’ve just added so extending it out once again and this is the last time that we have to extend it out extending It out once again one row higher one row outwards add an additional layer of red so we now have a nice big giant surface for sonic to jump on let’s just connect it at the corners here we just have a couple of diagonals there we go and what you then want to do Is just add an additional layer of red on top of that first initial layer of red so on top of your largest red circle add an additional layer of red wool let’s go all the way around boom boom like this now once you’ve got that taken care of You then want to take out your yellow wall and one row higher and one row inwards in relation to your red do you know what you’re going to do you’re going to add a layer of yellow so we’re going to have a smaller ring of yellow Inside the top of the jump pad we’ve almost completed the jump pad i promise this is my least favorite part of this to do i want to make sonic but unfortunately the jump pad is part of this and i do think that it really really does make this build a lot better That’s the layer of yellow then one row higher and one row inwards in relation to your layer of yellow and an additional layer of red this is going to be the top of the jump pad inside of this we’re going to stack a layer of dark blue wool and that is where sonic Is actually going to stand so we want to have that then completely fill the top of this in with dark blue wool this will take a second or two it’s a relatively large space and it is actually going to be quite a large room once we turn it into a house perfect okay This is the jump pad complete what we’re now going to do is play sonic’s foot you have a decision to make where’s the front of your statue going to be where’s the back of the statue going to be at the moment this thing is symmetrical you Can place it on any one of the four sides but this is going to be the front of my jump pad and for reference the front of the jump pad looks a little bit different from the rest of the other sides because we add two additional yellow walls on Top of the front part of the jump pad and we knock out the four red blocks below it just to signify that there’s an entrance there so that’s the front of the jump pad also make those same changes to the front of yours so you can actually enter it Once you’ve figured all of that out you want to come to the very top of your jump pad and on top of the four center blocks or the ring of four around the top you know what this is the easiest way to describe it you see how you have This out row of blue going all the way around to form a square come to the second inner layer of blue and do a row of four by four white on top of the inner square of blue at the top of the jump pad can you see what i’m talking About difficult to describe but i’m sure that you can see what i mean what you then want to do is this on top of the two center blocks on the left and the two center blocks on the right stack two layers of two yellow that’s one two one two then Do two rows of two red on the front and back parts of your white square like this then do a let of white going all the way around on top of this this is going to form sonic’s foot he’s wearing his shoe on top of this we want to stack eight Layers of dark blue wool that would be one two three four five six seven eight and we essentially want to do this all the way around the top of his leg so it’ll take a second or two we’ve got to go all the way around and this is going To be sonic’s leg um the idea with this leg is that is extended out in front of him jumping onto the jump pad and the goal of jumping on the jump pad is to grab the ring that’s that’s kind of like that’s kind of like what we’re what We’ve got going on here so we just want to have something which should look like this and you can also fill the top of the leg in because it will be visible from the outside of the statue coming behind what we’ve just made we want to Take the top two corners of the leg here at the back extend them coming out each by four that’s one two three four and one two three four connect them together and take each one of those fourth blocks and extend them down each by three that’s one two and three and That’ll be one two and three connect each one of those third blocks together and then connect them to the front of the statue and this is going to form half of sonic’s hip we then want to take the inside four corners of the leg here or the hip area And we want to extend them coming across to the right each by four that’s one two three four and this will also be one two three four one two three four one two three four so you can see we’re kind of just making sonic’s hip here like this What we then want to do is sonic’s back leg now sonic’s back leg comes out of the like the back left hand side four corner blocks of the hip so you guys will be able to find these and you want to do rows of four dark blue wall coming out the corners That’s one two three four and one two three four one two three four and this will be one two whoops hang on one two three four so we can then just fill all of this in perfect so we now have a square shape coming out the back Of sonic’s head we then want to add a layer of white wall going all the way around the back of that leg that is sticking out the back of the statue we then want to take the two middle rows on the left and right hand side of this white square and Extend them coming out the back of the statue each by two of the yellow that’s one two one two then do two layers of red underneath and above those two layers of yellow coming out of the white parts of his shoe then add a layer of white wool going all The way around the back of the shoe so it’s the same thing that we had down below there on the jump pad except in the air this time fill in the bottom half the shoe with white wool and also fill the sides of the leg the visible parts In with dark blue walls so just the outer parts you don’t need to fill in the inner parts here for instance but just the parts that you’ll actually be able to see from the outside of the statue we just don’t want any holes and the more holes That we leave on the inside the easier we’ll make it on ourselves when we actually try and turn this into a house because a lot of these like a lot of like sonic’s extremities like the legs limbs and stuff they’re going to be turned into rooms so if we leave these Parts empty then it’s it just helps us it it does so this is what you want to do once you’ve got both of his legs taken care of and they’re one of the more awkward parts of this so can you see on the hip part here The top right hand front corner of the statue well from this we want to place a dark blue wall on top of this go left by two of the dark blue left by two with white same clay and then continue left by free with your blue that’s one two three Then on top of this we want to stack nine of these rows starting from the left hand side here we want to do a dark blue then a six white stained clay that’s one two three four five six one dark blue we want to have nine of these Rows so that’s the first second third fourth fifth sixth seventh eighth ninth and we want to have the same on this so we just want to have white stained clay all in the center here and in total we want to have nine of these rows and this is just sonic’s Stomach and this is just the visible part in his chest so once you’ve got nine of those rows you then for the next row going from left to right want to do two dark blue four white stained clay two dark blue for the next row an entire row of dark blue wool For the next row an entire row of white stained clay we want to take that row of white stain clay and extend it out in front of the statue by two rows that will be one row and this will be two rows we then want to do two rows of white Stain clay stacked directly on top of this outer row so this will be one more white sink line and this will be two rows of white same clay we then since we’re here want to take the two center white stained clay blocks here and we want to extend them out by One with the black ball that’s sonic’s nose isn’t it cube then for the next two rows stacked on top of this white stained glass we want to go from left to right do two white wool one black two dark blue one black two white one For the next row we want to have the same i did did i say that i’m pretty sure i did for the next row you just want to copy the previous row we want to have two repetitions of that row to give you sonic size oh lovely then for the Next row going from left to right it’s pretty much the same except you want to do two white wool one side insane clay two dark blue once iron stained clay two white wool for the next row do two white one four dark blue two white wall For the next two rows and the final two rows do two rows of dark blue wall that’ll be one round and this will be the second row that’s two rows of dark blue wall perfect what we now want to do is we want to come all the way to the first row of Sonic’s head which is this row of white stained clay that we have right here and we want to take this row of white same clay and we want to extend it back by five rows with the dark blue so this will be one round two three four five What you can then do in the corners of the front of the head the sides of the head you want to place a white stained clay either side just behind the head like in the corners and then you can take the back two corners of sonic’s Head raise them up with your dark blue wall to their equal height of the front of the head and then connect them to the front of the head and also connect them together as well so you just want to form sonic’s head it should look like this Then fill in the sides back and tops of the head in with dark blue wool we also have to give sonic ears i should probably mention that and i almost forgot them to be honest with you guys sonic has ears on the top of his head Doesn’t he they’re very easy to make uh we’ll add them in a second we don’t even need any additional materials as a matter of fact i’ve just realized we don’t only need the only material that we need to finish this off from here and it’s not 100 necessary but i do think it Looks nice uh we’ll need some yellow stained clay that’s it literally the only material this thing doesn’t take that many blocks to make whatsoever really when you think about it and all you have to do now are the arms after we’ve finished the head anyways so Let’s just fill the rest of the head in there and we also have to fill the top of the head in with dark blue wool don’t we so let’s just fill the top of the heading with dark blue wall it will take a second or so and that is perfect Now for the ears once you’ve filled in the head you want to be at the top front of sonic’s head and you want to be in line with the second row on the left hand side well on top of this block right here we want to go by one with the Dark blue do an upright diagonal dark blue bottom right diagonal fill the center of it in with white stain clay come to the opposite side do the same thing dark blue wall up left diagonal bottom left diagonal side white stain clay in the center to give you sonic’s Ears oh aren’t they lovely now once you’ve got that taken care of we now want to come all the way back down to the back of sonic’s hip area we want to take the back two corners of the hips raise them up until they hit the bottom Of the head they should hit here leaving two rows hanging off of the back and we can then once you’ve raised up these hip areas we can then just fill the centers of these in with dark blue and we also have to fill the actual back part in as Well sonic has no detail on his back whatsoever unless you want to add some spikes i tried to add spikes on both the head and his back but honestly it ended up looking a little bit weird i i didn’t look at like how it looked and it made Him look kind of like a dinosaur it made him look like a really weird blue dinosaur which is why we don’t have any spikes or anything added plus i think that this statue looks fantastic all by itself it doesn’t need any any additional detail added to the actual like skin statue part so This is what we want to have so far sonic’s looking a little bit weird with just his legs he’s missing his arms but don’t worry we’re going to give him some in just a second so once you’ve got that taken care of this is what you want to Do next let’s do the easier of the two arms come to the right hand side of the statue and come all the way up to the top right hand side of the torso just underneath the head with our white stained clay we want to take the top two Corners here and raise them outside the statue by four with the white sink let’s one two three four one two three four connect the fourth blocks together and take each one of those fourth blocks extend them down by three that’s one two and three and that’s one two and three Then connect them together connect them back to the statue you know what i’m not entirely sure why i did that because we actually have to extend these blocks down by a bit more so once you’ve done that we we’ve got this while we might as well Continue on um you then want to take each one of the four corners and you want to extend them down by a further four each that’s one two three four and one two three four i’m actually thinking of the other arm and then connect everything together you just want to Form like an arm shape i’m i’m thinking ahead to the next arm um in which we’ll do a shape very similar to that so we want to have something which should look like that kind of lacks like a letter to a letter too oh my god a number two and A number eight or mixed in one so that’s the shape that we want to have what we then want to do is we in the front of the bottom of the arm we want to add a row of four white stained clay raise up the corners of that white styling white Snake hp3 that’s one two three and one two three connect them together at the top we then want to add a layer of light gray wool in front of the square of white stained clay then we want to add two layers of white wool that will be One layer of white and this will be two layers of white so we want to have this fill the outer part of this in with white wool then fill the rest of the arm in with white stained clay there we go we got There in the end we made it in a bit of a weird way i’ll admit i’ll be the first to admit that that was weird i’m not sure why i made it that way but we got there in the end we recovered it didn’t We it’s uh we all that matters is we got there in the end so um let’s just fill this in with the various materials that we have to fill it in with so this big white same clay there we go wesley clay what’s saint claire yes and once you’ve Got that all taken care of let’s just have a look at it see how it is oh wonderful doesn’t it make the statue look a little bit better already um we now have to do the other arm so come all the way over to the opposite side here And starting from the top two corners on this side of the statue extend them out each by four with white stained class one two three four and one two three four connect each one of those fourth blocks together take each one of those fourth blocks extend them down each by Three that’s one two and three and this will be one two and three connect those together then connect those back to the statue this is what we did on the other side but we meant to do on this side there we go what we then Want to do is we want to take the four front corners of this white stained clay ship and we want to extend those coming towards us each by five that’s one two three four five and do note that i said five that’s one two three four five and one two three four five And one two three four five we then want to connect each one of those fifth blocks together and we should have a shape which should look like this then in front of this we want to have a layer of white of a light gray wall so Add a layer of light gray will in front of that shape then add two layers of white this will be one layer of white that we’re adding and then another layer of white so this will be the second layer of white there we go then fill in the end of the hand with Whites with white wall and then fill the rest of the arm in with white stained clay this will take a second or two but after this we can move on to the final touch of sonic because guess what guess what after after this you know the only thing that we have to add Guess a ring that’s all we have to add we’re going to give sonic a ring in his hand we’re going to put a ring on it we want to marry sonic it’s not that kind of ring honestly it’s not an engagement ring it’s not a wedding ring it’s a ring Of power gather enough of these and i don’t know what will happen you gain lives or they use them as chaos energy or something i’ve got no clue i can’t remember but the important thing is that there we go we have his arm extending up then you know what you can Get rid of all those materials you don’t need them and all you’ll need to finish this off block of gold and grab yourself some yellow stained clay um coming to the front of the hand on top of the top two middle blocks at the top of the hand We want to do uh gold like that we then want to looking this way like towards sonic we want to from each gold we want to do two upright diagonals that’s one and two we then want to go right by two two bottom right diagonals one Two go down by two two bottom left diagonals one two left by two doing up left diagonal to give you this shape this is the ring um what you then want to do is you want to go around the ring with your yellow stained clay this isn’t mandatory but i think that it Makes the uh makes the ring really pop i think it makes it look quite nice so i definitely recommend doing it just to make it pop a little bit um once you’ve done that on the outside of the ring we want to do the same thing Here um the ring is nice and 3d so we have two rows of it rather than just the one we don’t want it to look like a pixel art so um we just have two rows of the ring and it looks a little bit like boom there we go there’s sonic’s ring Looking quite nice and if you wanted to if you were so inclined you could do more of these rings i mean if you wanted to like say oh let’s let’s get a different block um uh bedrock doesn’t matter um we could like from the top diagonal of this ring and leaving a Block we could like leave a gap of let’s say what can we leave how wide is the ring what’s the diameter one two three four five six seven eight nine so we could leave like a gap of nine that’s one two three four five six seven eight nine and we could Or you know what that’s that’s a few too many so we’ll have about that many and then we could add another ring just in front of it so as if sonic is actually running towards it that’s what we could add um is this necessary nah not really does it look Good i don’t know i’ve not actually tried it we’re we’re finding out right now we’re experimenting here in this tutorial but we have finished the tutorial really so um is that going to look good i think that this could look good it almost looks as though sonic is Throwing the ring oh i i took the outer almost it looks as though sonic’s throwing the ring though maybe that’s because of the added bedrock maybe that kind of looks like um kind of looks like uh a fro pattern or something um destroy those perfect um let’s get some yellow stained clay on The outer parts of the ring there we go here here here here at some here all right there we go so if you want to maybe you want to add another ring it’s the exact same dimension of that is it’s like a few rows higher than that ring I’d say about five rows higher than that ring and it’s also probably about five rows away and whether you think that adds something to it or not maybe you want to add some more maybe you don’t kind of up to you i i kind of like the added ring but um I i’m not 100 sure whether i’d keep it in for myself but that’s more than enough talking actually because thinking about it guys this is the sonic house 100 fully completed this is the actual building part of the sonic house now of course this does not include the Interior um this doesn’t include the interior at all that’s going to be in the next video which is going to be posted in a couple of days should i actually show you how this can be turned into a little bit of a house let me show You how you can carve out the interior and turn it into a couple of rooms and then we can come back to this the more observant moon you may notice that sonic’s head is actually one row backwards in relation to where it’s actually supposed to be but let’s talk About the interior for this statue so obviously the idea is that you would walk in here into the jump pad there’s quite a bit of space here for a little bit of a lobby down at the base of the jump pad although i might just turn this Little bit into stairs which will take us all the way up to this which is a bit more of a larger area or maybe we’ll have some sort of staircase or something which will take us all the way up to here you can see that sonic’s leg Functions as a very very long drawn hallway to get up into here which is kind of like the crease in sonic’s hip um we have his leg sticking out the back which is going to be either a room or a secret room i haven’t figured out and All of this area here for the chest we’ll figure out how to turn this into something cool um i don’t know whether this the area for like the torso the chest all of this stuff i don’t know if i’ll turn this into like multiple platforms which you can like have which Will each have like a station i think that that’s kind of what i’m thinking about maybe like each platform will have a little bit of a station which will have like you’ll have like a blacksmith area you’ll have like a crafting area you’ll have this you’ll have that i Think that that’s what i’m kind of thinking about and for here we also have a room hidden in the hand which is this is one that’s grasping the ring plus we also have where i would put the bedroom which is in the um top of sonic’s head i’ll have this as The bedroom this will kind of like be the master room it’ll be the biggest room really when you think about it other than the maybe the torso area will be the biggest but um this will feel the roomiest in the head because it’s going to be like one at big open space and That is how sonic will be turned into a house so hopefully you guys really really love this house as much as i do if you do please give this video a like give it a favorite give it a share anything you’d feel like doing to help me out i would Always really really appreciate guys honestly i appreciate it no end it helps me out tremendously comment down below what do you want to see next do you have another theme for a house don’t worry the interior for this is coming that’s not any question because i i think that I
