Minecraft Ultimate Barn Tutorial [How To Build]

Well hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft video this is vehicle sausage how is everybody doing man we’re back again doing another tutorial today we’re doing the ultimate minecraft barn and it’s amazing let me flip let me show you what we got inside this build right

Now look at this let’s go so inside this build you’re gonna get not one not two not three not four not five not even six more probably six about six animal pens baby we’re gonna put inside this day we got a pig pen we got a sheep farm a horse stable cow

Farm chicken coop and a rabbit pen all in one build and this is super cool this is definitely one of my favorite builds if not one of the best farm bills I’ve ever told I love it so much this is a really cool barn lobby a bit askew for

Barns and animal pens and horse stables I was like you know what let me put it all in one and so here you go what do you guys think is this pretty cool so we’re gonna build this thing right now it’s gonna be probably a long tutorial

Cuz there’s a lot of building involved but let’s get this started right now alright here we go this is the pallet we’re gonna be using and you can use any color pallet where you want any blocks you want it doesn’t necessarily have to be this but this is the ones

That I went with cuz I take a look coolest but we’re gonna go from left to right we’re gonna be doing some dark oak log some dark oak stairs dark oak slab some strip dark oak wood some spruce slab spruce trapdoor some barrels we got

A little bit of the oak family just a regular oak and east ripped oak some oak offences feds gates some walls made out of stone break a couple buttons yeah it’s fine and then we could also get a little bit of campfire for some roof edge and of course the beautiful Lantern

And right here is the dimensions don’t get scared there’s a lot of places blocks but I’m gonna take you step by step we’re gonna work on this together right now but you know what let’s start right here just let you know what you’re looking at wherever you see any of these

Beans were putting beams down right but then wherever you see any of these strip those are closed off walls like this these little parts here of the course there’s our entrances to get so there’s a little interest to get into this barn here and little entrances for

The cows or sheep whatever you want to use these for you don’t have to use it for what I use the for but you can do whatever you want so edges is here here and there’s a closed off spot we have a door in the

Side here – get out here – just the grazing part right here if you want to have some horses just walking around this part right here is the lining of the fence and then we have a little entrance right in the center right here so this is what the part where had the

Horse stable right there if you notice you have little entrances on this side and then this is a walled off area walled off area here and then a pigpen ring edge you can get in from all three of these sides over here is our a section for our rabbits but again you

Could use these for anything you can mix up the animals whatever you want but to make it easy let’s start really quickly on this side we’ll do the main barn area and we’ll do the pop out after so let’s get the bar and start it so for the barn

We’re gonna be using a barrel as a little base and then some dark oak logs to pop out and on this little base right here we use these sub strips so let’s start really quickly right here in this corner we’re gonna start right here let’s start placing these logs up by

Four but first off let’s put a barrel so we’re gonna put a barrel here and about here and then we’re bringing up logs one two three and four here we’re going up one two and three and one two and three so we’re gonna lift that up down here

We’re gonna put some of the strip facing down so one into here again we’re gonna go with a barrel here we’re gonna go one two three we’re gonna go with a barrel one and two and then again here one two three and four and a barrel one here one

Here and then up by three up by three so we have ourselves a little start right here now let’s lift this up as well one two and three one two and three and then one up here barrel for your barrel then we’re gonna go up one two three barrel

One two and three so we have this little thing right here don’t worry about the pop I will do that after but for now it’s the main barn then let’s turn this corner we’re gonna go with strip one two three we’re gonna take this up this wood

You don’t need to put the barrel on the inside that’s only if you really want to if you want to save on materials you don’t have to you can only see from the sigh but it’s not a big deal I’m gonna put it because you know what is creative

But if it’s your own survival you don’t have to worry about that but then let’s go up one two and three one two and three right there let’s go again one two three let’s take this down again with the barrel so one on one and then three up here three up right there

Then again stripped one two three this one you’re never gonna see so we can cover that up but then these you’re gonna see so barrels there one two three three up here and three up right there now just turn this corner we’re gonna go one two and then this one you are gonna

See so barrel barrel barrel and barrel the space of three in the center and then up by three up by three then up by three here and up by three again we’re gonna go with this strip so one and two this one you’re not gonna see so one two

Three and four and then barrels here and there and take ya don’t just shift-click one two and three one two and three so let’s turn this corner we’re gonna continue with the barn so another three here we’re gonna go with this one yep double barrel double barrel with spaces

Of three in the middle one two three one and one and this is door so we’re gonna do a little sideways one right there at the bottom and then we’re gonna just take these up again so one two three three here three here three there and

We’re doing pretty good so there we go that’s the start of this little area right here alright now the next simple thing I want to do is let’s grab some Oh dark oak planks and we’re just gonna go up one two one two one here and then

Cross the beam back now let’s do it all on this so up by three and then a cross beam in the back we’re gonna do this everything you see all the way around right now alright perfect everything is all the way up just like this so the stripped

Two of the dark oak planks and a cross beam now here the only difference is we’re not gonna put anything here yet we’re gonna take this out one more on each side just like that and then cross beam up here just like so let’s work on

The roof right here let’s grab a stair and we’re gonna put a dark oak and we’re gonna pop it out by one and two on this corner then we’re gonna go with an upside-down stair one stair this way another upset on stair one stair this way upside down stair here and then

We’re going with slabs all the way up so slab slab here double slab slab here double slap slap here and a slab on top that should be centered right there perfect so let’s do it again on this side to match it so we’re gonna go with stairs they’re upside down stair

Regular stair upside down stair another stair here upside down and then slabs all the way up so slab double and double and we were meeting up right there on this side now really quick let’s repeat this one on the other side there we go perfect now let’s jump on this side and

Make this easy we just gotta grab stairs so we’re gonna go all the way down right here connecting that side to that side then on this one and we’re gonna go half way we’re gonna go from here and here and then stop right there because we’re gonna do that little pop-out extension

Later on but we’re still gonna use those stairs where they’re at right now so leave that there for now all right now let’s grab some of our spruce we’re gonna do a little lining right here of spruce so stairs there then we’re gonna go with slab slab slab and then come

Back here with the dark oak right there come back the other way just like so and we give me that little lining that looks pretty cool just like that and then we’re repeating it on the other side so that looks pretty cool alright now next

Up let’s do one quick thing here I want to lift this one up one more so let’s stitch this up let’s take this little piece out just so we can pretty much mirror what we did on this eye with a height on that so there we go

Now next up let’s go to this log that we see right here on this side and we’re gonna go up by one two and three with our dark oak log one two three one two three one two and three then we’re gonna grab our strip and we’re gonna put a

Little rope right here like so then we’re gonna grab some barrels and we’re gonna put a little row of barrels right here facing downwards just like that then let’s go ahead and repeat this one on the other side all right there you go now next thing I want you guys to do is

Put some walls of our stone right here leaving that one open because we’re gonna do a pop-up right there now let’s do it over here on this side really quick so right here wall wall whoa never gonna do a little pop-out that goes out like this and then we’re also gonna do

Another little pop-out that goes out like this right there on that side this one’s gonna go out an extra one and two so we’re gonna do that little extension out there we’ll save that for later though then next up let’s work on the next part of the roof now this part of

The roof it started right here with the dark oak and we’re gonna pop it out by one then we’re gonna go up with stairs so this is already one stair to three stairs and then we’re gonna go with it upside down and then we’re gonna pretty much remember what we

Did over there so then or down here then we’ve got a slab on top double slap double slap and a double slap there let’s do it again on this side so dark oak stair here and here then we’re gonna an upside down stair facing forward upside down stair forward up set out and

Then slabs going up so slab double slab and a double slab just like that and let’s repeat this one on the other side all right there you go I’ll repeat it on the other side looking pretty cool now next up let’s start running this line of

Our stair all the way down meeting from one end to the other of our dark coat just like that then we’re gonna repeat this one on the other side so really super simple we’re gonna keep it all the way down and don’t worry about this empty space here we’re gonna use that

Later on to put chests on the inside so all the way down like so then what I want to do is let’s fill this whole thing in our spruce and then we’ll pop in those windows in a second all right there you go super simple roof all you

Have to do is connect one side to the next with spruce and it’s super awesome if you wanted to keep it just like that without any windows you can go ahead and do it if you wanted to break it up even more make it a little more rustic go

Ahead and do that too but if you want to put windows super simple this is where you put it so let’s count the blocks so 1 2 3 4 from here this is the 4th then you’re just gonna go up 1 and 2 you’re gonna knock that piece out that is your

Window section but to make it look cool we’re gonna go ahead and replace some of these in dark oak so let’s do like this so this is the the way I think is probably the best go like this and then have that twisted this way get rid of

That and have it twisted that way super super simple then grab a slab of dark oak and we put in it right there so let’s do it again so we’re gonna get rid of this in this let’s go down with dark oak right here 1

2 3 and get rid of that one and to get rid of this one in there we go so one more let’s do it again so 1 2 3 get rid of that one and to get rid of that and then we’re putting our dark oak

Right here on the side and then all you got to do is cover the inside really quickly and then we could just go ahead and just lay a little layer I would go ahead and just put some dark oak like that dark oak here don’t look like that

Or we can even do it in spruce whatever you guys want you can just play around with this style if you wanted to go all the way down with so it’s any color combination I think it did go with spruce so really quickly let’s go ahead

And repeat this thing on the other side all right all done mirrored from one side to the next now a really cool spot is this little middle cap here that’s open completely and also on this side so to make it look cool I want to give it

That little cool Tudor look so this what we’re gonna do we’re gonna go on this side and we’re gonna mix in the strip dark oak like right here one two and three and then we’re gonna be all four and then we’re gonna go ahead and put

Strip o all the way up until the can’t go no more like that but it repeat it over here on this side say don’t worry about those little gaps I’m gonna show you what to do so that doesn’t show up so we’re gonna keep going all the way

Like this interchanging every other one is a different one so we’re gonna go all the way up and you know what you can mix and match it doesn’t have to be this specific style of Tudor blockage you could do really any color combo but this is pretty cool I said has pretty good

Contrast and then this one can actually go all the way here so if you notice some of these have little gaps like right there and little gaps right there so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna come in here with a spruce slab and I’m gonna

Do this let’s put a spruce slab here here here skip that one put one here here and there then on this one I’m gonna bring a dark oak and bring that down so that looks pretty cool and it gives you that cool little lining on the

Top so you know what let’s repeat this thing on the other side all right now that we’re here let me do a little bit more detail so I’m gonna go ahead and put a log right here I’m gonna pop it out one two and I think that’s good then

Let’s knock these two down one each put some stairs facing downwards then put some upside down stairs here upset on stair here here and here then the scraps of slabs I’m gonna do a little roll like this and one on top and we have ourselves a nice little entrance here

We’re gonna grab a stair gonna put it upside down the dark oak upside down dark oak here trapdoors going all the way down and this gives us a cool little door you can fake it might be opening and closing and I broke that it’s fine

I’ll fix it there we go and then this cuts all the way down like so so that’s our little entrance right there now when we come in here I’m gonna show you what to do so right here let’s put a space of three let’s get a log and go up

One two three and four cross beam right here cross beam here another space of three one two three and four cross beam here and here and a little cross beam going that way there do it again over here one two three and four cross beam here in here I just

Repeat it so one two three and four cross beam here and cross beam right there go do one more cross beam this way and then they sound pretty good then let’s go ahead and get some slabs I’m gonna get some screw slabs and we’re gonna go right here and just cover this

Whole top as a fourth whispers and we can also if you wanted to mix it in make it a little bit more rustic little bit more broken down we can add a little bit of trapdoor in certain spots so maybe something like that maybe a little patch right there

A little patch here some little patches like that then we’re also gonna put a little ladder there’s gonna be an official trapdoor because we’re gonna put a ladder right here and this is gonna be our way up to the top right here on this side then we’re gonna grab

Some fences I went with oak and you can mix it with really anything but I’m just gonna MIT to seal this up so right here on the corners right here on the corners and then double this one and it would put gates on that so this way you can

Get your animals in and out you can put cows or sheep on anyone to the side so I put them all sheep all cows whatever you guys want then next up let’s do another little bit of detail I’m gonna grab a beam again and we’re gonna keep going

But we’re gonna beam this right here and right here now I want to take this all the way down from this side to that side from this side to that side then we’re also gonna get some stairs from right here and drop these stairs on that drop

These stairs on that side as well then these beams are gonna keep going all the way up all the way up and then all the way up to the top just like this then I’m gonna grab some barrels and replace these with barrels it’s gonna look pretty cool and then we’re gonna also

Fence up some stuff plus defense up these right here on the corners defense these here on these corners and then I’m just gonna put gates on this one and this one because now I’m gonna do something pretty cool let’s grab a campfire and I’m gonna put some

Campfires here let’s also get some water splash a little splash of water right there and then let’s go sideways right here so this is gonna be the way to cross over from one side to the other right there and then just throw there we go let’s put another one facing

This one I like it facing this way because it has the lines of that wood sideways right there and then we’re gonna get some of these trapdoors face it up so trapdoors like this and face these up and don’t forget to take out your campfire cause if not

It’ll look silly so then we’re gonna go this way lift those up and we’re gonna go also this way and without falling and lift these up right about here so these are gonna be your ways to cross over from one side to the next making it look cool though we could just

Put a slab if you want but I kind of like the way this looks I don’t know I just looked really cool a little interesting and different so we have this looking pretty cool right then this has some more detail you see how we put these slabs here in the corners I want

To put some more on this side like this here and also one there and this gives you a little bit more detail on the top sides here so every other one goes around like so and then slab and slab do it one more time so one here and one

Going this way and that on the top and that gives you that detail on the top I love that then let’s add some more fences it’s not gonna give just for contrast sake some of the spruce fences and some lanterns and we’re gonna drop these right on this side right here and

Here here and there and then drop some lanterns on these and then we’re also gonna drop some lanterns on the top right here just to give it even more light and you know what you can never use not so much like Oh what you could put some more light right there so let’s

Put some more light here and there and also some more light here and there and then for more details you can grab some chests and we can drop some chests up here and it could totally open because we have slabs on the top so chess either

Singles or you can put doubles on one side or the other so you can put chess all the way around over here and it’s gives you all your animal storage that you might need I think I think so I don’t know if you’re gonna need more

Than this right now one last detail for the barn down here we’re gonna put slabs every other one just like so giving you that little bit of extra detail right here and then we’re gonna put trapdoors into those spaces we skipped going all the way around we’re also gonna do one

Here so trapdoor and lab let’s do it again on this side so slab and trapdoor and then we’re gonna go again this way so slabs going down just like so and then trapdoors going down like this so if you guys just really wanted to build the barn and

Nothing else you don’t want the extensions this is pretty much it this is pretty cool you can do this and this only if you’re not looking to go all out with every little bit of detail but if you want to add that little extra bits we’re gonna do that right now but let’s

Go ahead and add this last little bit here so slabs going down and then trapdoors right here so pretty much done with a barn if you want let’s finish it off in style with this little twist up job here we’re gonna put a hanging light right

Here let me grab my lantern real fast give me that later and we’re gonna drop a lantern and now officially the barn is done but let’s do more stuff now if you really wanted to finish the barn and nothing else I would just repeat the front section of that little arch we

Have here and not have this closed off as we did but that you guys got that now Oh last little bit of detail I almost forgot right up here we want slabs every other one leaving it just like that to give you that a little more pop right on

The top side we also did a little bit more here maybe by adding one more on that side and then also one more on this side now it’s officially done the barn is finished but let’s go on the next section let’s pop this out now for the

Pop-out is super simple it’s going with our dark oak log and we’re gonna go up again up by one two three and four space of three one two three and four space of three one two three and four and then we’re just gonna cross the beam this

That and that come over here one two three and four cross beam one two three and well-pleased three two one two three and four and cross beam super simple then gonna come over here let’s go on this inside one two three and four one two three and four remember spaces of

Three in the gaps and cross beam here frost beam here cross beam there there and last but not least cross beam right there then for this one we’re also gonna lift it up but this was only by three and only by three on those four now leave those there then we’re gonna grab

Our strip now let’s put strip right here one two three one two and three I’m gonna come on the inside put three here three on this one three on this one and also repeat it on this inside part right there then we’re gonna cover this up

Right here in a mix poke and a little bit of this stripped oh so we’re just gonna do oak for now and I’ll come back in here and I’ll texture that in a moment let’s just do it right now so a little bit of strip just like that and

Give a little bit of texture you don’t have to but I just love the way this looks makes it looks look a little more rustic a little bit more worn down and I love it so we’re gonna do that just like so there we go and then another little cross beam on

That side to see all that perfect now one more on this end so we’re just gonna go one two three one two and three and then we’re just gonna pepper this in a little bit like so perfect now if you have the materials go ahead and do it

But also all these are the bottom bits right here I’m gonna put barrels but again this is just for aesthetic purposes if you don’t have the material for it don’t do it don’t do it you don’t have to that’s it it looks a little better but it’s not gonna make or break

The bill if you do that if you don’t put it over here so we’re gonna do it just because it looks pretty cool just like that alright now they start working on the roof so we’re gonna grab our stairs I’m gonna take this they’re all the way down to about right here at

This line right there we’re gonna twist it right there just like so I’m gonna put a little upside down stair just like that then let’s come on this side I’m gonna put a stair popped out right here like so and we’re gonna put a little upset down stair on that then we’re just

Gonna go ahead and go slabs all the way up so sad here double slab double slab double Sam this way and a slab on top just like that then we’re gonna come this direction get rid of that block and then we’re gonna do another little bit of a roof so

We’re gonna do it like this let’s put an upside down stair here suppose we’ll put a little upside down stair right on that right out that beam and we do the same thing so slab slab double double and double on top just like so and then we’re gonna come this way and

Take your stair make sure let’s twist that one and take your stair overhanging it by one right on that edge just like that then let’s work on this stair here so actually let’s lift this one up one more time just like so and then we’re gonna put it upside down

Here and an upside-down stare right there and we will do the same roof right there so slab slab double double any double in the center and then we’re gonna come this way and just let’s twist that and go all the way down just like so and this should connect to that part

And curve right there that is super cool now next up there’s some more things let’s actually do some connections with this roof so really simple let’s grab some of the screw slab and we’re gonna go down right here and take the Spruce slab all the way down meeting at that

Corner bit right there then we’re gonna go on this side and then twist your roof left all the way down until you reach this corner bit right there then we’re gonna grab our dark oak and take the dark oak all the way down and we’re

Gonna go all the way down this way and this should connect to about here we’re gonna have to get rid of that block but that’s fine let’s connect that and then lower this down and take it all the way down so that well this is gonna be a

Little different but that’s okay then we’re gonna come in here grab our screws again put one here put one two three here and then connect your dark oak right there then let’s go back this way we’re gonna connect that to that we’re gonna connect this one all the way down

To about there then we’re gonna connect this dark oak and that should connect perfectly to the top of that then let’s grab again our screws and we’re gonna go all the way down like this and then this should connect all the way down to the back we’re right about here and then

This should go all the way down like so and then this should connect all the way down to about right there okay actually let’s do a quick modification let’s get rid of these stairs really quickly right there and just going to leave it just up

To this because what I’m gonna do now is let’s grab some slabs instead I’m gonna do slabs all the way down till they’re okay then let’s grab some stairs I’m gonna wrap these stairs all the way around this way and then wrap these stairs all the way around this way

Connecting right around like that and then we’re gonna place these campfires all the way down right here facing this direction so it’s gonna go all the way down like so and then all the way down like so and this turn this on and there you go that looks

So awesome then next up let’s grab our slabs and I’m gonna go like this we’re gonna put a slab here here here and there then we’re gonna grab our trapdoors and put those on the bottom then we’re gonna repeat that also on this side so let’s grab our slabs and

We’re gonna go slab all the way down like so then trapdoors here let’s do it again on this side so a slab right on that corner and then slabs going all the way down like so and then trapdoors on that side perfect then I want to

Thicken this part out so to thicken this out this is what I’m thinking about doing so let’s put a slab here stab here and a slab there and we have a little bit of a thicker look to it so I’m gonna do it over here as well so here here and there

There we go and it’s do it one more time but I go here here and there also let’s cross beam right on that edge as well just to mirror everything that’s going on now next up let’s grab our slabs I’m gonna put a slab here and skip every

Other one till we get to the end right there I’m gonna put one on this side and then skip every other one till we get to there perfect then next up let’s grab our logs I’m gonna give it a space of 1 put a log and then in between that we’re

Gonna grab our regular oak fence and also the square or fence gate and I start working this out so we’re gonna put an oak on top then we’re gonna also put a slab or right on top of that I’m gonna go with an oak here and up here

With a space in between of two two gates and then put one more of these lovelies we’re gonna drop that on top and then go around so every other one right here is going to be along Loran all the way down to here then we’re gonna go ahead and

Put fences in between just like so and remember to put slabs on top so nothing escapes ever so that goes all the way around to there all right now it’s time to put this little pop-out extension for the chicken coop now for this one is do

This we’re gonna put some barrels at the bottom again so one here and one here space 2/3 in the middle then we’re going with our log one two and three one two and three cross beam here cross beam there little cross beam on that side and

Then here we’re gonna go with our old patented three strip dark oak on the bottom three strip dark oak here at the bottom and then just a bunch of oak then we can go ahead and also just a little bit of detail by bringing in some of the stripped in certain spots

Just like that then let’s grab some stairs of dark oak and I’m gonna run a line all the way down like so overhang that bit but I’ll run a line like so overhang that bit upset downstairs regular stair regular stair upside down stairs on both and just slabs in the

Middle like this then we’re just gonna connect from this side to that side in spruce so let’s do that real fast all right there you go that looks pretty awesome but you know what it’s thicken this point out too so let’s get rid of these stairs it’s double let’s put one

Here and one there and one there so a little thickness here just so you can see what’s happening over there a mirror that then in the middle here it’s gonna put these strips right in the center just like so make it look a little cooler then on the inside this is really

Really simple I’m just gonna go ahead and cover this part up just like that we’re gonna do the same thing we did last time some similar to this we’re also gonna do another little bit on this side as well I’m gonna grab a log and we’re just gonna go ahead and go from

One side to the other we have ourselves a nice little bit of detail and then you could just hang some lights on that now last but not least is put some of these fences and our gate let me just grab right here zest and we put our little

Gate on this side also just in case we forgot to put it over here but we’re just gonna put fences on the corners and gates in the front also gonna repeat that on this side so we’re gonna go with fences in the sides and gates in the

Center just like so all right and now one of the last days we’re gonna add is the little rabbit pen I’m gonna put it right back here I’m gonna go with a log let’s call the log one two and three one two three one two three and remember

This just gaps a three in between you can have all this open for a bunch of rabbits or you can have them separate if you wanted just to maybe have two separate pens it’s up to you for it all one get rid of that part leave this open

If you want to separate pens just do something like that we’re gonna put fences on these sides in case you do want that separation but definitely over here on that we’re gonna grab also some slabs you’re gonna put these on tops of those then we’re gonna run a line of

Slabs right here on this end and then just up to there then we’re going to come back this direction and then we’re gonna come back this direction we’re also gonna grab our trapdoors and put this on the outer edge right here just like so then let’s put

One more beam of one more strip of slab right up the middle and then we’re gonna come on and sit on the inside and just put our campfires in like so on these little pods now just a tiny little variation we’re gonna put our stairs right up against this one do

It looks like it gives it a little more support for some reason I like that and then buttons on the tippy top right there also don’t forget and put gates here so fence that off and gates on the bottom just like so all right now once you’re

Finished with the build if you want to make this a little bit more alive a little boy lived in a little bit more worn and torn down the flooring the path the terraforming the added details do stuff like this add a little bit of coarse dirt a little bit of path block

Some grass blocks in here some dead bushes definitely some hay stacked up in the corner like this some empty campfires right there of course add your horses and stuff like that you can have leaves hung up saddles hung up we have some anvils here so in case you got to

Fix the horseshoes and stuff like that path is everything though a little bit of added detail by adding some overgrown some bushes a little bit more hay bales on the side the Pigpen to make it look a little more pig penny let me show you the tent work I don’t

Know we could add some soul sand some powdered concrete some pods oh and make it look beat up and worn down I want to put any grass in the Pigpen have a little section here like a little trough for this I used the composter fill it up a little bit having different levels

Also a little watering trough on this side just water logs stairs looks pretty good now on this side adding flower boxes might do the trick any hanging lights or look even better now when you come inside beat up the grounds go make a big path alright have

Your animals in any direction you can have cows or sheep or sheep and cows have all cows everywhere have all sheep do whatever you want have fun with it now little bits of detail would be just adding the hanging lights that we did and then he would put us a couple

Smokers here on each side in case you do want to put a little bit of cooking up here it’s really up to you guys you won’t even want to put a bed up here you could just get rid of one of these little sections put beds anywhere on top here
