ChronoFury – How to install Better End Mod for Minecraft (Amazing End Biomes)

In this video i will be showing you guys how to install the better end mod for minecraft now if you guys are unfamiliar with this mod i would suggest checking out my mod showcase of the beta and mod that i did a couple of weeks ago it’s available on my channel

And link is also in the video description down below so check that out and you have a better idea of what the better and more does but to sum it up it overhauls the end dimension completely in minecraft and it adds in these cool new biomes that you’ll find to be amazing okay

And in this installation tutorial we will be focused on installing the fabric version of the beta and mod and not the forged version now you may be asking why well that’s because the fabric version is the original version of the mod that is being developed by all the various authors and hence

This fabric version of the mod will be the version that is updated the most frequently and that’s why i’m showing you how to install the fabric version of this mod and not the forged version because that will take additional time to update and we don’t know that the development

Will continue for the forged version whereas for the fabric version since it’s the original version it will definitely be updated and developed over time okay so before we get into the installation tutorial guys very quickly don’t forget to drop a like on the video so that more people can see

Is the fabric launcher and the third thing you would need is the fabric api and lastly you will need the mod menu but this is actually optional but i would highly recommend it because it showcases a list of mods that you have installed so it’s really easy to check

That you have installed all the mods correctly if you install the mod menu now i’m going to go through each one of them we’ll start with the fabric launcher now again the links to everything are in the video description down below so head to the link in the video

Description it will take you to this fabric launcher page and there are two different installers here one is universal and the other is for windows now if you are on mac you would want to install this version of the file but since i’m on windows i will install

This version but again it’s all pretty much the same you know there’s no difference whether you are on mac or windows the installation process is the same so click on this if you’re on windows this will download the dot exe file so click on this to run and you should

See this window popping up now there are two variants client and server if you’re installing it for your single-player world then you want to select client make sure you have the correct minecraft version selected now in my case it’s actually minecraft version 1.16.4 and not 1.16.5 now you may be asking why

Well that’s because the latest version of the better end mod is for minecraft version 1.16.4 so before you actually install the fabric installer check to see what is the latest version of the better end mod so the latest version is 1.16.4 so make sure you have fabric 1.16.4 selected and click install

And once it’s done you want to close the installer and the next step would be to install the fabric api now this is compulsory you have to install this otherwise the mod will not work at all so you will navigate to files again link to fabric api

Is in the video description as well so notice that the main file here says it’s 1.16.5 now you would want to select the fabric api that’s 1.16.4 which in this case is this one over here because you can see it states 1.16.4 slash 1.16.5 so just make sure that you have the

Correct version downloaded again if minecraft 1.17 comes out the installation steps are pretty much the exact same all you need to do is just install the right version of each individual file okay so this is the file that you want so you want to click on this download icon here

Give it a couple of seconds for the download to start so at the bottom left-hand corner it says do you want to keep the java and yes you want to keep the java file because it’s essential okay so now that you have fabric api downloaded onto your computer

The next step would be to download mod menu so head over to the link click files and you would want to select the right version in my case it’s this one here because it says mod menu for minecraft 1.16.4 or 1.16.5 so click download and as usual just like the fabric api

Wait a couple of seconds and it will start automatically so now you have fabric api and mod menu downloaded the last thing you need is of course the better end mod itself so you want to click on files here navigate to the latest version of the beta and mod that corresponds to the

Fabric version that you have installed now all the fabric files that we have downloaded are for minecraft 1.16.4 so this is the one that you want to select check that is for the right version of minecraft and click download and as usual keep the jar file so now

That you have all three files downloaded onto your computer the next step is to transfer these files into your mods folder now how you go about doing that is as follows you want to launch windows explorer type percent at data percent in this bar here hit enter double click on the dot

Minecraft folder and you should see that there’s a mods folder here now if you guys don’t see it it means you haven’t installed any minecraft mods previously so what you need to do in that case you just need to right click new folder and you name it you rename it to mods or

Lowercase like so and it will work as well if you already have the mods folder then you don’t need to do that step double click on this mods folder then drag in all three files into your windows explorer so the better end mode the mod menu as well as your fabric api

Don’t forget the fabric api because otherwise the mod will not work at all so now it’s time to launch the minecraft launcher to check whether everything is working properly so take note that when you’re on your minecraft launcher screen you would want to select the correct profile so you’ll notice here there are

Many profiles here right you don’t want to select forge for example or minecraft 1.16.5 you want to select the version of fabric that you have just downloaded so in my case it’s this one here so ensure that you have the correct profile selected and hit play

So at your minecraft title screen at the bottom left hand corner you should see that it says fabric so that means you have installed fabric correctly now the next step to check whether you have installed the better end mode correctly would be to click on this mods button

Here now if you guys don’t see this mods button it means that you have not installed the mod menu that’s why i highly recommend installing mod menu so that you can see what mods you have installed if you click on that you can see that we have mod menu installed

As well as the better and more so if you see the better and more showing up here it means that you have installed the mod correctly and if i were to go into my world here i have a world for the better and more this was

The world that i used for my mod showcase a couple of weeks ago so this is a world that i already had when i did my mod showcase on the better end mode so as you can see the mod is clearly working because otherwise you wouldn’t be able to see

These biomes now if you guys have the mod installed and you are having difficulty finding these new n biomes then i would suggest two things one is that you need to actually travel quite far in order to find these biomes because they are relatively rare the second thing is that you need to

Ensure that your world is new you cannot use an existing world like i did just now the only reason why i used an existing world and it worked is because i had this world generated after i installed the beta and mod when i did my mod showcase that time that’s why it’s working

But for you guys you will need to create a brand new minecraft world after you have installed the mod in order for these new biomes to generate now if you guys have any questions or you are facing any difficulties installing this mod let me know in the comment section down
