NEW 1.18 Terrain Generation Potentially Teased | Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Update

As you’ve all probably saw by now in the next upcoming minecraft update also known as the caves and cliffs update part 2 we are going to be receiving some incredible new updated mountain generation that is why in this video i’m going to be talking about how the new wonder 18 terrain generation

Daily minecraft content but there wasn’t any more time let’s get right into the video so as i said at the start of the video the caves and cliffs update part 2 is a continuation from the caves and cliffs update part 1 as you might expect it is also known as minecraft 1.18

And i just want to let you all know this so that you do not get confused throughout this video but along the new mountain generation is bringing a bunch of other incredible things and changes including new cave biomes new cave generation the warden the deep dark skull centers bundles it’s absolutely incredible

What we are going to be receiving in this upcoming update but the focus of today’s video is the mountain generation or the terrain generation however you want to say it or describe it as and over on twitter by a mao jung developer also known as felix actually made a very

Interesting tweet but just before i get into it i want to say i will be speculating a lot throughout this video and none of this is confirmed and i’m not saying that this tweet does definitely 100 confirm um the new terrain generation or anything like that i just want to show

It all to you and get it out there so i can kind of talk about it and ask you what you think about it but from what i’ve saw so far a lot of people seem to agree with me that this could be some kind of a subtle

And by subtle i mean very subtle hint at the new terrain generation so this tweet made by felix actually said thoughts and then shown a few emojis and the screenshot was just of a tree just sitting there a very normal minecraft tree nothing special about it at all so obviously with the tweet

Being so vague just a very simple um one word sentence with a very simple screenshot i instantly started looking deeper into the image because if you think about it why would someone just tweet out a few random emojis and a one-word sentence with a random screenshot of a

Tree it does not make much sense if you think about it like this and this is when off in the background in the distance i actually noticed some very interesting generation over there and just to reinforce my theory i went down into the comments where a lot of other people were actually also

Noticing this for example this one tweet actually said very interesting terrain generation over there mountains on java question mark and a lot of other people seem to have had the um same reaction to this because as i said earlier it’s a very vague tweet and this um very cool unique generation

In the background does lead a lot of us to believe that this is kind of a very subtle hint at the new terrain generation but as i said this is not confirmed this does not confirm anything it’s very vague and i just want you all to know that of course this does not

Confirm anything but let’s just say this is a very subtle hint by felix and let’s just say that this is a hint at the new terrain generation on java edition what does this mean so if this tweet was actually true as i said this would obviously mean that the new

Mountain generation is on java and this would not be too much of a surprise because where they last shown us all of this was kind of a few months ago or a few weeks ago depends on when you’re watching this but they did actually show us a lot of

Progress they made with the new mountain generation and cave generation on bedrock edition i believe it’s actually all complete on bedrock edition like all the mountain generation the cave generation i think that was actually a lot more complete than java however where the less left off with java

Edition before the release of 1.17 is they added the caves and they added all of the well i say all of but most of the new biome blocks and items but they did not actually add the new updated biomes into the game so what they were currently doing just

Before they split the update and they released it in two different parts is they were focusing on catching up to bedrock edition which was actually quite far ahead as of when they made the delay so as i said this means that mao jang were actually trying to kind of catch up

To bedrock edition they were kind of trying to port all of the features over just trying to add the of course the biomes and the mountains just so that it would all work fine and so that all the features could be transferred across so it would make a lot of sense that by

Now which is quite a few weeks after um they were added to bedrock edition well months as of when i’m recording this it wouldn’t make sense that they’re finally in java edition it’s not not like no crazy theory like oh there’s like some kind of magical red dragon in

In minecraft now it’s nothing like that it doesn’t make quite a lot of sense and it’s quite reasonable that the new mountain generation would be in the game now or at least by now but the reason people are freaking out about this so much is because it’s kind of unconfirmed

They’ve not talked about it yet they’ve not shown us anything about it and the fact that this could have actually been teased to us by a little cliff edge in the background is quite cool and quite unique so let me know what you think down below in the comments everyone do you think

This tweet by felix was just literally some random tweet about a tree or do you agree with the majority of people which believe that this was some kind of a hint at mountain generation been on java edition if i had to give my personal opinion but as i said none of

This is confirmed and this is speculation i would say that this is at least some kind of a hint like whether it was intended or not this does kind of show that this is all working and that the mountain generation is in some way shape or form

On java edition who knows maybe this could be a current mountain which is already in the game and a mountain which has been in the game forever now or it could just be some kind of a snapshot world for 1.18 maybe even just some kind of a
