Top 22 New Minecraft 1.16.5 Mods for Forge & Fabric! [Mobs, Dimensions, Armor]

Hey guys welcome back to my weekly series where we take a look at most of the mods that were released over the past week all of these mods were tested on minecraft 1.16.5 and i’ll be covering mods for both forge and fabric panorama allows you to take panoramic photos in minecraft

Inside a new dimension there’s way too much content to cover but there’s plenty of new mobs which include new variations of zombies spiders and creepers there’s also some completely new and unique additions such as elders fireflies and scorpions with the new magic rings they can be activated to give effects like invisibility teleportation

And regeneration the dimension in general looks great with new music biomes sounds and atmospheric effects there’s tons to discover on both the surface and in the caves below you’ll also find around 15 new sets of armor and lots of new tools which are a lot more powerful than vanilla equipment

Skunks are new mobs which can spawn with four different textures that have both adult and child variants when killed they have a chance to drop leather stink glands stink potions and stink arrows if you get too close then they can spray you applying the stinky effect any entity that has this

Effect will repel most attackers apart from skeletons nico’s enchanted books will overhaul the textures of every enchanted book in minecraft instead of them all looking the same each book has its own unique texture which should help you easily differentiate them when looking through your collection it also has support for mods like charm

Vein mining and dash save my stronghold is a quality of life mod preventing any strongholds in your world from being damaged by caves ravines or structures now they’ll be completely preserved and intact enchanted golden apples used to have a recipe of their own before being considered too overpowered and removed from the game

To fix some of the bugs currently present block compression allows you to compress blocks into smaller forms allowing you to save inventory space currently this mod includes compressed variances of blocks that typically fill up your inventory quickly such as dirt cobblestone sand and netherrack by placing nine objects in a crafting

Table you’ll receive a compressed variant block allowing a full stack size to be increased from 64 items to 576. if you want to uncompress your items just place them inside a crafting table fps display allows you to easily show your current frames per second in minecraft

With this mod installed you can see how well your game is running by checking the value in the top left corner of the game screen you can see your fps without mods by looking at the debug menu but it’s a bit of a mess to constantly look through there

The op items tab is a new tab which can be found in your creative inventory it contains blocks and items which can usually only be obtained with commands which should save you a bit of time when working on large maps inside you can find the likes of barrier blocks spawners and command blocks

Chroma concrete is a new block which can be crafted by placing four regular white concrete in a crafting table you can then place this new type of concrete alongside dies of your choice to create colored concrete blocks although what i like most about this mod is that you can add multiple types of
