Welcome back this is off by one and you’re watching part one of my one Factory any potion tutorial okay so to show off some of the modularity that I mentioned earlier I’m going to deviate slightly from the design over there and I’m going to use two creative Motors The water wheels that you see there work perfectly fine if you’re only using two basins however if you expand to more basins you will need a more powerful rotational power source name if you want to run at the high RPMs which for compatibility with the timings I’m going to show here you’ll need So to get started we will use a four Basin design instead of our standard two over there and the only difference with this is that you have to expand the pipes compared to the one basement design or the 15 Basin design it functionally no difference in how you lay it out Um just add a couple more pipes add more basins add more Blaze burners add more mixers everything else exactly the same okay with that out of the way let’s actually get onto placing this so to start off you’re going to place two mechanical pumps like so you then want to place a Cog here another Cog here you then want to grab a clutch so that you can turn these pumps on and off on there like that and one there like that so one of these pumps will be your water intake and one of these pumps will be your portion intake You then want to place a shaft there like so another shaft here and finally one here you then need a belt and I oh it is there running like that and then a going to a block followed by your rotational speed controller followed by a large wheel Now I’m going to as I mentioned run this off of a creative motor and because I’m using more than the one I demoed over there however if you wanted to just use the two as I demoed earlier you could just place a water wheel and exactly here Instead or rather three of them and power them from the same pool that’s used um as the water intake however I’m not going to do that in this case um as this would be overstressed so we’ll just fill that up like so and I’m going to cap these off so that We don’t accidentally pump excess water in and let’s just check that those are both facing the right way so yes this one is it will be pumping water like that this one’s not because as you can see it’s trying to suck water in but we’re going To need this line to pull potions out let’s just grab the creative tank I mentioned earlier again in your case you’ll probably have another pipe running off to your storage system just so this doesn’t overflow with potions I’m going to put a creative tank there we then want to run this at 192 RPM um basically the higher the better if you can do 256 go for it but 192 is is plenty and finally for this stage you want to fill each of these containers up like so okay so the next part that we need to build is the control circuit for this And the control circuit is actually pretty simple you need a lock there like so with a torch on it to keep this gear shift turned off by default and you need to put another block above it here like so so that both of these are turned off by Default then you simply need to grab two Redstone links and place them like that now I recommend that you follow the channels that I use here but you are of course welcome to use your own I’ll be using bottles as the frequency one slot for all of the Um links in this in this creation um as it indicates that this is part of the portion Factory so for this one up here I’ve got a portion portal and this is controlling the portion extraction so we’re going to use the empty bucket and one below is controlling the portion pumping Or the water pumping rather and so we’re going to use the fuel water bucket so one is to empty one is to fill I just want to double check that I have got this controller around the right way to do that I’m just going to quickly break this torch double check that No that is the wrong way so fix this just simply slap it with a wrench and that will flip it and so that it’s facing the other way around and then we can check that it’s spinning the right way by turning it on and seeing which way the arrow faces That is fine like that now so that’s it for the first stage I’ll see you again in just a moment for the input circuit okay that’s it for this part before we finish up I just want to point out the links in the description you’ll find part 0 the demo along with parts One two and three of the tutorial there along with links to the schematic so you can try it out for yourself if this video has been in any way useful please give it a like or drop a comment as you can see this is still a very Small Channel and every little bit helps I won’t pass you to subscribe here but do consider checking out my other videos I try to upload at least every fortnight thanks for watching and I hope to see you again in the next one Video Information

I had a look at several potion factory designs but didn’t like that they targeted specific potions – so they weren’t really gaining much over just walking up to the basin and throwing in the ingredients manually.
After a lot of testing, trial and error, designing and refining I hereby present: One factory, any potion!
