Made a mod before so I’m going to learn everything there is to mod making and make a better mod than anything you’ve ever seen and you know what I bet you I could do it in just 24 hours now before we actually start making this mod what’s it going to be well I’m

Giving myself the goal of adding at least one block one item and one mob to the game it’s currently 8:37 p.m. according to Lexus so 24 hours starts now I have no idea where to start so let’s just um so I started by downloading Intel IJ and Eclipse Tamarind by adop meum for

The coding and stuff but that’s when I realized I don’t know how how to code so I just sat there contemplating in pain until I found M Creator a software for dip that makes creating mods a whole lot easier for people who are too lazy to

Learn Java look I’m a busy guy shut up loser anyways I got the software and I have no idea how it works God damn it why is this so complicated so after watching an ungodly amount of tutorials and reading way too many damn forms I was finally getting somewhere oh okay

Mod display name what what what should I name it poer mod yeah yeah and after waiting like 7 minutes for the thing to load we were in ooh look at all this stuff so we could add basically any of these things that we want I decided to

Make a block to test it out and thus Joey was born wo I got to make a texture okay I I can do that so I opened Photoshop and made a little smiley face for a little man I added the textures to the block saved it as an element and ran

Our very first test woah wo woah woah oh I I think I got something working what’s going on so let’s let’s test out see if it did so if we search up Joey is he there oh he’s not wait flash give poer mod Joey oh oh it’s it’s him he’s here oh my

Gosh this makes me so happy okay this means that like we actually got something going now let’s uh try figuring out how to do everything else now now the next step I’d be taking would be making a mob for this mod but you may be wondering Parker you haven’t

Even made any items first of all shut the up and second I got plans for that later you see I want to incorporate the mob with the items but it wasn’t as easy as I thought anyways how exactly are we going to make this mob well that’s where these guys come in

Gecko lib and blockbench block benches for modeling are actual mob and animations while gecko is a mod for the mod Creator to create a mob for my mod so basically Geib is supposed to make the block bench animation and model compatible with M Creator and make the

Actual mob creating process a whole lot easier that’s if it could work I couldn’t tell you why but this thing wouldn’t get on M Creator the plugin kept being a little goober piece of where I just kept using incompatible versions of either M Creator or gecko

Live so it seems I’ve run into a problem I got the gecko lip plugin right here it says yes it is loaded but when I go here to try to activate it um it’s not there it’s it’s supposed to be here for me to check I don’t know why it’s not there

Without them once you export it what can you hear that can you hear how much pain this is putting me through I mean sure it might have told me in the instructions but I wasn’t reading those but I did finally figure it out so if we’re in the right version we should see

Yes oh my God finally all right gecko we activate that and now what okay so I got it to work but you know what really pisses me off I downloaded the wrong version of the plug-in because they had the oldest version at the top of the list I needed 48.9 not

4.7.2 this was definitely a result of my own stupidity but maybe I should just read things before I click them anyways now that we got that situated we can actually model our mob and since you guys had to sit through that little rant you can finally learn what my mob is going to

Be but before any of that we got to download blockbench open it up make a brand new project and I don’t know how to use blockbench you know I’m starting to notice a trend throughout this video and just not knowing how these softwares work but don’t worry I figured this one

Out and of course it wasn’t without failures okay so what what should we name this guy I want to name it froglet cuz I kind of want to make froglet from Castle Crashers yeah there’s the big reveal don’t judge me this is my first time I didn’t want anything too complex

That a lot I don’t think I did this right and you’d be completely right you did none of that the way you’re supposed to you’re not really able to delete space you’ve already created and I wanted to make an open mouth like froglet had which meant I had to go

About creating this model in a different way looks like a tongue right that’s a a good looking tongue I think I hope and not good going to lie I was able to figure everything out you’re kind of in the presence of a pro modeler right now

The lips model the body modeled the eyes and you guessed it modeled the tongue the throat the legs even the fing tail every single one of them absolutely modeled I was modeling so hard people were starting to think I designed the Burge Khalifa I got a call from God

Asking me to create the next species dude this is looking so good look it but then I had to make the antlers that which admittedly might have been a bit harder to make okay you’re telling me that doesn’t look like that guy you are some weirdo because look at he looks so

Similar now I just got to add some epic antlers and I think we’re going to be good ooh you could paint oh wait how do I go back uh wait what I then came up with the idea to just make the antlers separately which was definitely the right solution and

With that said I got to work so if we take this move it up 45 just delete that that up boom antler one done I’m not going to lie looks pretty good I think it’s a little tinier than I want but that that’s okay that’s fine so I just

Had to make this last antler and oh my gosh oh I think I’m done I think I finished oh look at my little baby frog lit it’s so good looking so this means the model is done right right wrong I still had to make the texture for the

Model and little did I know how absolutely awful this process would be okay now we just got to like color it and texture it but I have a I kind of have no clue how to do that uh I did find this thing if I press B there’s

This brush I don’t I don’t know how it works though so I think I think we’re just going to have figure it out as we go oh that’s just weird I don’t like that uh what do how does this work and and since that clearly wasn’t working I

Tried painting directly on the texture but that didn’t really work out either at this point it was really late at night and since I was working on this model for almost a straight hour I decided to call it quits because I kind of need to sleep but while I was in my

Bed I came to the realization my skin texture is very similar to froglets color scheme and I mean it makes sense just look at my skin it’s literally the same exact thing I even got the antlers I got the Frog tongue I got everything but to test this Theory I just had to

Wait till the next Morning n just kidding that was a joke if that happened I would have actually killed myself anyways my theory worked kind of I mean at first it looked like complete dog so I had to make a ton of changes to the texture which I forgot to record it’s okay deep

Breaths there was probably a much easier way to go about making this texture but I’m too lazy to learn how to do that and plus it worked after so long all right there we go man look at that that looks exactly like froglet dud I’m actually so

Happy but in the process I totally obliterated my skin texture so I had to spend 10 minutes getting my old skin back after that was situated I needed to make some animations for my mob kind of like the Sheep right now you see how it like walks around and moves its head up

And down and stuff like that that’s what I need to do so we got little froglet guy right here and I made this animation for when he’s walking and it’s the funniest thing ever if you think this is bad trust me it could have been a whole lot worse oh

My God god what have I created this is this is awful oh no now it’s time to actually get our mob and animations I made into M Creator so we got to we got to figure out how to do that this was actually a fairly simple process that

Definitely didn’t take me forever to figure out so it turns out I was doing a lot wrong and what I had to do was just look up here at this little Gecko and just press him and then import the gecko Li models through here oh my God this

This is so hard see simple and then you would just import the files you got from blockbench and then it was as simple as creating a living entity naming your entity and setting up all the basic stuff for the mob and I’m just going to

Not pretend like I know what any of this stuff even means but the following things were really easy to set up like the animations and the behavior of the mob and with that being said our mob was basically done at least for now entity death rotation no clue what that

Means uh let’s just save it yeah okay so does that mean it works I have no clue if it does if this works I’m going to be the happiest boy alive so if I do give me UK mod froglet spawn oh what if I oh

Happier hold on I want to add some features to it though what is this feature you may be asking well this is what I meant when I wanted to incorporate the mob with the items I wanted froglet in some way to drop the items that I want to create but uh this

Might have been a bit harder than I expected so for my item I want to add a couple of items but hold on let me just let me look at something real quick I want to add three items and I want them to be from Castle Crashers cuz if you

Don’t get where I’m going so basically this guy right here if you go into him he sells a ton of weapons like they’re just displayed in his mouth and I want to make it so when you right click him he like drops a weapon from the game so

I just got to figure out which ones I should add o the chicken stick yes that’s definitely going to be one ooh let’s get the lollipop the new grounds lollipop yes that that one’s going to be good how about we just get the basic thin sword yeah let’s let’s do that I

Think that’ll be good and then we got to start making the textures for our actual item so let’s see first one let’s make just let’s just do the thin sword okay create new tool okay yeah I need a texture hold on let me make that real

Quick I’m not going to lie the way I made these textures was kind of Genius you see I just took the images I had and just scaled them down to the required texture size and then I just re outlined them and then use the colors they

Already were and it was so easy I was able to get the textures done in less than 10 minutes all right now we’re good there we go we got a texture for each sword that I want to add now we just got to export them I know you need to be

Pretty smart to be able to come up with this stuff and you know I kind of am creating these swords in M Creator was super simple as well and took me no less than 5 minutes the thin sword a very thin sword perfect game item type it is a

Sword attack speed let’s make it faster since it’s a little thinner that’s good triggers uh we don’t need any there we go we got a thin sword and then we could add the others yummy yeah and then lastly the chicken sword which is obviously going to be the

Strongest one out of all them because why not yes the ultimate chicken so it’s the best sword out of all them and then can we just save it okay so we got those things but there’s one thing I want to do so I think I just got to add a

Procedure or something okay when you right click it I want to add a procedure yes uh let’s see and this is where things started to go downhill you see I’m by no means a coding genius sure I was able to get this far but this was

Definitely a huge wall for me to cross over and let me remind you I only have 24 hours to make this mod I’m not going to try spending the next few hours just trying to figure out how this program works so I winged it all right I got this let’s see um wo

That’s a lot of categories what the heck black data what does any of this even mean why are they different colors why is this one red why is this one blue and what’s up with this log what’s he doing here energy and fluid tanks huh oh this

Is too much I am not going through all of this wait we got a gecko lib area what is what is this for you know what let’s try uh let’s try throwing some stuff in there let’s like Bop why doesn’t it connect connect what does this mean there so much how do I

How do I even I can’t and just like that I gave up I couldn’t do it it was just too hard to figure out what any of this stuff meant so I had to compromise and that’s when I found this YouTube tutorial that taught me how to use the

Program to make the mobs drop certain items now this was not my original goal but this this will work for now okay TR trust me trust me but but even then this tutorial was not up to date which meant I had to try figuring out some of the

Stuff that was out of date myself oh my God this was painful but I got it done in the end and that’s really all that matters there we go look at that I finally did the thing where if you kill it it drops all through the swords I

Could not figure figure out how to make it random and my brain is absolutely fried and I don’t feel like doing this anymore I don’t know if you could tell by my voice but I was exhausted I was basically living off the three brain cells I had at the beginning of this

Video and I lost every single one but you know I think it all worked out I was able to get everything done I had the block I had the items I had the mob but you know there’s one single thing that stuck with us the entire way through

That’s right I’m talking about Joey he’s been my support he’s been the one I looked up to I was happy but what about Joey so there’s just one more thing that I had to do to make things right that’s right I commenced operation Josephine my plan to materialize a brand

New block and have that block to become Joey’s fiance this plan was absolutely foolproof we are about to make Joey the happiest block alive and it all started with a single smiley face she is going to be the savior of our boy Joey so we

Just got to draw a new face smiley face this time we got to we got to add a little bow to show that she’s all for Joey and Joey only there we go look at Josephine special information’s wife and I think it’s safe to say the

Plan worked I mean look at these wedding pictures Joey is looking the happiest he’s ever anyways our mod was done right well kind of you see I had one more thing I wanted to do the way I was running this mod before was just testing it in M Creator

I wanted to make it an actual mod that I could use in curse Forge now this was supposed to be simple but uh I made it hard on myself Obviously it is 4:05 so that means I was able to do it in less than 24 hours but first let’s just see if it works cuz I have I have no clue if it does so we could just export poer mod there we go all right let’s see if this works I

Really hope it does yeah yeah me too man that actually took forever I’m not going to lie man I’m actually kind of nervous dude this actually took forever I mean the amount of time I was looking at the same just a torial oh it’s awful okay

That didn’t seem to help at all but you know I’ve been working on this mod for so long I decided to take a break and just figure everything out after that this might have been a mistake sometime later okay we might have a problem you

And now it’s 7:33 p.m. I have just over an hour to get this done and fix a bug I don’t even know how it works I what what does this bug mean it was only this jar file that wasn’t working as a mod I tried three separate times using

Different exports from M Creator and then the soltion dawned on me okay let’s let’s use my uh big brain of mine and see if I could figure out what this means what does this stuff mean oh wait maybe I need gecko Li downloaded oh my God maybe that maybe

That’s a big problem of this hold on I swear to God this is the solution and I’ve been suffering so what if I just download gecko Li now will it work wow man I keep forgetting about that Geib has kind of been like the little sneaky

Rat in the corner that I keep forgetting to feed and now it’s coming back to bite my ass what was was I talking about anyways it fing worked and we actually did it in 24 hours look it it’s 8:10 p.m. oh we had 20 minutes to spare it’s

Immediately decimated two hits get over here yeah I wonder if we can enchant this let’s let’s test it out I don’t know if I had to make that an actual thing but an enchanted chicken sword no way it actually works it’s glowing I got a glowing chicken look at

This thing it’s Beauty now I have a sharpness one chicken sword bam instantly annihilated all right so we have the de that froglet works the swords also work maybe the drop is a little too overpowered but you know that’s fine it’s my first time what did
