Build a Halloween Pumpkin Underground Base in Minecraft
Get ready for Halloween with a spooky underground base in Minecraft! In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a Halloween-themed pumpkin house. Let’s get started!
Breaking Ground
To begin, dig a 16×16 hole in the ground, going down 4 blocks. This will serve as the foundation for your underground base.
Decorating the Walls
Start by changing the floor to white wool or white concrete, depending on your preference. Then, decorate the front and back walls with a pattern of pumpkins and orange wool. Repeat this pattern to cover the entire wall. Next, add jack o’ lanterns and carved pumpkins randomly into the walls for added spooky vibes. Don’t forget to change the borders of the walls to pumpkins and the rest of the walls to orange wool.
Creating the Ceiling
Construct a 16×16 ceiling using orange concrete. This will complete the structure of your underground base.
Carving the Pumpkin’s Face
Now it’s time to give your pumpkin house a face! Place a yellow froglight block in the center of the pumpkin’s face. Use gray terracotta to create the mouth, following the design shown in the tutorial. To add a finishing touch, place black carpet on top of the froglight to create the eyes.
Creating Entrances
Make entrances on both sides of the pumpkin house by changing the wall to a ladder and acacia trapdoor combination. Cover the top of the wall with an orange carpet to hide any exposed areas.
Interior Decoration
Now it’s time to decorate the inside of your pumpkin house! Create a bed using orange and white concrete powder and add a striped banner as a pillow. Place lamps on both sides of the bed using end rods and acacia pressure plates. For storage, use four orange shulker boxes to create a storage cabinet and add pots for decoration. Lay dead coral around the bed to create a carpet and use checkered carpet on the rest of the floor to add some color.
Adding Extra Details
Make a TV in the front part of the pumpkin house by placing an azalea pot, flowered azalea leaf, azalea leaf, diorite wall, and black concrete. On the other side, add a picture and decorate both sides with item frames and maps. Create a potting shelf using smooth red sandstone slabs and replace the floor with grass blocks. Plant bamboo and grass to add some greenery to the shelf. Lastly, create an in-ground aquarium by planting seaweed and summoning tropical fish. Decorate the walls with monster heads and armor stands for an extra spooky touch.
Final Touches
With all the decorations in place, your Halloween pumpkin underground base is complete! Enjoy the eerie atmosphere both during the day and at night. You can also customize and add your own unique touches to make it even more festive. Happy Halloween and happy building!
