SB737 – Minecraft Xbox: Subway [318]

Hey guys this is espy and welcome back today to another video inside of my awesome world here we are down in the waiting room good morning sean he’s asleep i know he’s awake good morning did i wake you up i’m sorry he’s always got a smile on his face there wasn’t him

There we’re gonna go across into fred’s uh office to see what today’s challenge is going to be good morning fred and today’s challenge is bake me a pumpkin pie you want me to bake your pumpkin pie fred that i can do for you for my reward fish and let’s see what today’s assigned

Dog is going to be who’s it going to be where’s the sign get your own dog for a change what what’s that all about fred get my own dog fine i guess i will you want a pumpkin pie here if there wasn’t a fish in it i

Don’t think i’d be making that pumpkin by now he wants me to get my own dog i guess i will i guess i’ll i’ll go and do that as soon as i’ve done this challenge then so we’re gonna go and grab ourselves a few uh a few things so pumpkin pie we need

Pumpkin of course that’s that’s a given i think and i think everyone knows that we’re gonna need sugar we only need one piece of sugar and i think we need an egg as i think yeah an egg now then we can get an egg i think uh well i i

Assume the chickens are laying eggs i hope they’re laying eggs i also have like an actual like egg farm kind of a thing where i have like millions of eggs so i might go get one from there it might make a nice change should we go in to see that sometimes

The chickens aren’t alive and everything once that noslope getting into it it killed all the chickens here they are they’re all here look at that just literally like double chest full of eggs on both sides i have more eggs there no dude look at it it’s the hoppers after hoppers it’s

Crazy we can also go like this and uh yeah they get fed some wheat seeds as well they’ll enjoy that right so i want to get one egg but i don’t want to like i don’t know i know what’s going to happen look at that it’s just going to fill the chest

Back okay i have two eggs they’ll smash one and see what happens we got a baby chicken what’s the chances oh and he wants to go see someone oh now they’re just part by glass i can’t i can’t do that oh no he’s all right now i

I think pumpkin pie in return for a fish is a pretty pretty good swap so i’ll probably take that to be honest yeah let’s go and then uh yeah go and drop this off in the sugar box where my fish should hopefully be here it is there we

Go we’ll drop i’ll swap those and next we’re gonna go and pick up a dog as soon as fred wouldn’t give me an assigned dog he said get my own dog so i’ve gotta just follow what he says i’m gonna go and get my own dog so here we have it

The little doghouse mostly i don’t go to dog guys that often so it’s nice to it’s nice too for a change you know come to the doghouse and get a dog out okay it’s pretty sparse down here where are the are they all upstairs think maybe they

Got a kfc i know you know i’ve just got to get some weight you know subways they get everywhere as well and i honestly i suppose i built the mcdonald’s and the kfc i didn’t really like subway i’d never really eaten there properly but i kind of like subways now so they’re up

They’re back on the menu they can get a place here so you can see i’ve got the mcdonald’s right here i actually think this is a really well i really like the build um my kfc is miles away i don’t think we’ll see it from here actually it might be like we’ll be

Able to see it i don’t know what we’ll be able to get a good look though i suppose you can kind of there it is that red building right there there’s my kfc okay so there’s my kfc so we’re gonna make a subway all right that’s the the

Plan for today build a subway so i’m gonna build it right over this way in this set this area i’m gonna build it right on this very spot here where i’ve laid out the groundwork i’ve also made uh some banners now that i’m not gonna actually

Do these in the video but you can find on youtube how to make these very easily it’s just yeah uh they’re just very complicated to make so i just use a tutorial subway with banners so i’m gonna be placing those on as well so that’s that’s part of that as well so

Let’s go and yeah get some building done then let’s let’s do this so do not do this lily you know what maybe i should have taken snowy maybe maybe i should have if you’re gonna get in the way every every block i place i think she’s

Alright i think she i think it was a mistake i think she’s she’s acknowledged she made a mistake and now she’s gonna behave i’m sure she will uh so yeah i’m gonna bring this up to here so we’re doing like the bottom layer with these bricks let’s go and get that across to

That i think it needs to be like six of these bricks along so one two three four five six and then the same along here so two three four five six and then okay apparently we’re quite close to the aquarium yeah we are actually i’ve got minor fatigue

That’s great it’s the only problem with having the aquarium in this world it’s it’s not great for your uh your minor fatigue times is it but our we’ll get over it all right so we’re gonna do something like that all right we’re gonna go and get the uh

The corners in so he’s gonna be built up uh one two three four five we’re then going to bring this along like so uh so let’s go i think we need to be bringing this one up next i think yeah that this is the next one oh can we do that thank you

Very much i see yeah this is the next one and then we’re also going to do this right the way along here and then we’re going to be bringing out the dark prismarine now the dark prismarine is something that i have never never built with before so it actually

Makes a nice change to uh to use it in a builder yeah so dark prismarine is going to be happening it’s gonna be uh happening uh in a bit okay after i’ve done the concrete i think that’s the next thing because the the window frames are made of dark prismarine and also the

Roof is gonna be dark prism moon so it makes it’s different i like it i think it makes a nice change okay do i to be i think i want to be up one more okay i i if i run out of stuff i’ve got like a a

Shulker box full of extra resources so not a problem we’re not gonna be running out of resources i’m sure today i brought plenty of stuff let’s let’s go and get this all the way up and connect up the final bit do i need to build a

Pit i do okay let’s build up here there we go that connects up nicely we’re gonna do the same thing right here and then all right use the old pick block thing if people be asking how you actually get pick block you have to go into your

Controls so if i go here help and options controls you have to just assign it right here so you see i’ve got it to write on the d-pad because people have asked me that those i thought i thought i’d address them for you all there you go

That’s how you do uh that’s how you do pick block on the console version of minecraft right so let’s go and bring this down like this so here’s the dark prismarine window frames we’re going to be going forward and have a nice window frame so you know it’s a subway you want

A lot of light in there i think i think light is an important thing so that’s what i’m going for it’s going to do the same here i’ve also got a uh a bunch of glass now and this one’s a little bit different so i’m going to bring this all the way across

Like so and then if we go uh one two three blocks across and then from here we’re gonna go down like that and then we’ll do the same in this part so two three and then here as well there we go we just have this little

Like three by three area and then we’re going to go and fill in this bit right here with um with blocks there we go so that’s that side let’s go and grab ourselves some glass so we’ll put one two and am i getting pushed around by a certain dog

I thought something was pushing me off course a little bit right so yeah we’re gonna film these uh back windows there we go can we place that we can okay we’re gonna do the same thing over here the bonus here as well is we’re not

Going to need to mine out the floor so i’m going to be putting slabs over the top of the snow so you know it’s less work it’s less work is this one which is always oh it’s a nice little bonus isn’t it so we’ll go and bring this

Oh i hope we don’t make a mistake but if i do i only just brought enough uh stained glass but if i do make a mistake i have a silk touch pick so it’s not the end of the world okay right there is definitely a dog at my feet out every time

It now okay so i need to use my touch pickaxe otherwise it’s all over for me okay we’ve been saved i have 24 left i think i need 24 to finish as well so uh yeah this goes uh along like no way i don’t know let me get this right

Yeah i think i’ve got this right i should just look at the other side actually it would be the easiest way to do it wouldn’t it so that goes like that and we’ll just mine away this and then yeah we’ve just got to fill in this

Window and then the one right next to it now i think i’m happy with the uh the window situation then we’ll go to bed i think that that’ll be the best way now then do we need more dark prismarine there we go pick blocks into his

Inventory and goes on to the next bit there we go so let’s go and fill in all of this now uh there we go and then i’ve just got to be steady i’m gonna i’m gonna crouch there we go this is what a smart person does he takes his time and

This needs to go as high as the window frames there we go we’re bringing this all the way across all right this is where i die i died tonight because of this because of my my greediness to get more done um i’m asking for doom and destruction sorry i think i’m okay put

This in here no i’ve messed it up i’ve messed it up it’s a panic a panic moment i don’t know which bed i’m gonna go in i think i might go in the emergency bed which is like by the lighthouse let’s have a little look i think yeah there’s

One right up here an emergency bed for just such an emergency i can see a spider over there there’s probably gonna be things spawning all around where i was as well yeah it’s an emergency get into bed up straight in dive straight into bed there didn’t i okay so

Hopefully i spawn in a reasonable place there we go that’s all right i’ll take that close that up and uh yeah back to work we go back to work we uh we go on the subway which i’m gonna be honest it doesn’t look look a lot like a subway

Right now i can acknowledge that there’s room for improvement that i can see okay that i can see oh my goodness will you just stop anybody that comes to the subway is gonna get like the minor fatigue by the older the old thing all right let’s let’s go and build up

With this thing so this is going to come up to uh to here and i’m going to go up i think i’m going to go up two i’m trying to just work this out yeah up two like this okay yeah two like this okay and then this is going to come across

Like so all the way to the pillar right here so we’ll build this up okay and then what we’re doing is we’re going to put the banners on the front of that bit and there’s gonna be this across like that okay so there we have it uh these are gonna

Be uh like this as well so yeah i’m starting to put someone together now as regards the roof okay this is gonna be the roof the reason i did this is because i kind of want a green brick for subway like a brickie kind of a block

But and this is kind of the dark prisma is kind of the nearest to that you know unless you had a texture back or something that’s why i’m kind of using the blocks that i’m using because obviously i’m in vanilla minecraft now i don’t i’m gonna have enough blocks from

The inventory to do the entire roof i might do i might do but i have got a sugar uh box with more if if it comes down to it okay then from here we’re gonna go one two three i don’t know how many i’m going to

Go to because i’m just i don’t know why i’m counting too i know it’s just gonna be three from there so uh one more here one more all right and there we go so this just creates a little bit of a like a square shape it’s

Just to make it have a bit more a bit more going on on the roof i think really it just makes yeah a little bit more you know a bit of detail to the roof i think if it was all flat i think it wouldn’t

Be it wouldn’t look as good so we’ll go and bring that across like so all the way to there perfect and then this is all going to get filled in so can we reach that we can there we go let’s fill in all of this and uh yeah let’s go and get

All of this put together nicely okay job done right so yeah i’ve got the rest of the roof to do i think i’ll i’ll do that quickly now i think it’s it’s not too big a project is it’s really it’s not not the biggest of roofs i think that’s

What helps a lot uh we’ve got another there we go i think i’ll do i’ll just keep going until i run out and then and then maybe i’ll jump down and do some i’ll work on the interior a little bit see i’ve got a lot of them things to do obviously we’re

Gonna do the counter we’ve got to do the drinks machine and the seating area they’re the the three main things that i’m um i’m going to be doing in a moment i have another stack so i might have enough you know i might just have enough okay i

Can’t even reach that there we go can reach it now and we’ll bring that to there okay just this last little section i’ve definitely got enough to do this roof i’m i’m quite proud of myself for bringing so much there we go things i always like to bring more because

Whatever you don’t use you just put away and then you can use it in the next build that’s kind of my my way my look at it so yeah if you’re wondering how you um you make dark prismarine bricks like i’ve got here what you do is you go

And uh you get uh eight prismarine shards and then you do and then you use an ink sack so that’s what you need to do uh for uh to make these blocks so because you get brisbane shells when you kill guardians they’re not too hard to get uh really because guardians keep

Respawning and stuff so you know i mean it needed a lot it took a bit of time but it’s it’s doable they’re renewable they’re unlimited which is a good thing i think right i’m just getting this this bit filled in and uh okay that was not right there’s always one block that i

Get wrong right there we go just a few more left oh hey i’ve got to time it just right it doesn’t just happen okay there we go perfect and got that one as well all right nice so yeah let me have a little a little see i think i want to put the

Subway sign on now you’ve got to haven’t you it’s one of the it’s the highlight of the build i would say subway sign i’m just putting my inventory backwards right we’ll just use some bricks to pile up up here there we go right so we’re going to have the s right here

Followed by the u in fact if we stand on here it’s probably going to be easier isn’t it the b the w the a and the y like i said if you just look on youtube you’ll find you’ll easily find tutorials on how to make letters in minecraft banners also i’m

Finished this pathway i need to make it wider but i just wanted a bit to mark out the area that was my uh my thinking behind it let’s go and breathe i’ve got minor fatigue i forgot about that mining takes a long time okay i better not place

Anything wrong otherwise yeah it’s gonna take me a while there you go subway now it’s time to look like a subway it’s getting there isn’t it it is getting there for sure um right i have some materials so i’m gonna need some birch wood

What am i doing here i was not in the right place i’m gonna need some uh dark oak as well i was gonna need a crafting table uh so let’s go and put one let’s just put it there right now it doesn’t matter uh we’re gonna make some slabs so

I need quite a few of these i’m also gonna need some burst lives the bird slabs around here somewhere around it there we go we’ll take that and i also going to need some dark oak stairs so i’ll see we should have enough now to to make a few of them

I’m not sure how many i’m going to need i think i think 12 will be enough though i think 12 will get me through so we’re going to go like this we’re then going to bring this all the way along to about here we’ve got the the counter to do

So we’ll go and get this all here as well uh let’s let’s do the counter as the next thing i think that’ll be a good idea won’t it so uh yeah the counter consists of bricks and slabs so oh let me do this let me give you some stuff

Here so brick slabs also a furnace uh well a few furnaces so let’s let’s do so uh coming from here we’re gonna go one two i’m gonna put like a nice little slab here and then we’re gonna go oh wait hold on i need to sort that slab

Out and that slab’s not quite right i don’t think i think i need to put a slab it needs to be up one does that slab okay we can saw that in a moment that’s not an issue uh so then the same here let’s go and uh yeah

I want to mine away at it first before doing anything else just because i’ve only just brought i think i’ve only brought just enough slabs so if i don’t things are going to get a little bit messy basically so that goes there and then these go on here and you’ll see

Because the slabs that bring the the flooring up a bit it actually makes it like i’ve got like mixed slabs like yeah it’s like like i put two two blocks together which i think isn’t it it’s a nice little effect to be honest so let’s go and put that there okay

So this now uh is going to go around like this okay you get this this nice little effect here right up to the corner i think it’s going to come across here as well there we go i think that’s that’s about right i think this actually comes all

The way around as well right we need more more of these okay it’s just a dark oak and birch slab uh floor if you like that’s basically the the effect of this i think this goes all the way around the outside here as well okay that’s not

Right that’s it and i’ve got minor fatigue two weeks later he finally breaks the bar i feel like i should understand lily to be honest but now we’ll worry about that in a moment so that comes around like that and then here it’s here right let’s get back to

Doing this counter anyway so we’ve got this bit but what we also want to do is add uh one two three four five six furnaces we’re then gonna grab ourselves some stone brick stairs and we’re gonna go like this all the way across i just

Wanna do these these side ones i think i want to do these at a better angle there we go that looks a little bit better doesn’t it let’s go and get rid of that there we go and let’s go and do something we’ll do the same thing

Underneath them as well so we’ve got that and then we’re going to go and do this as well so one two three four and then yeah just in the corners go for that sideways angle looking very nice job done uh just in here we’re gonna be having

Slabs i can’t get out i’m just realizing until i place these slabs on forever doom behind the counter to work at subway not my dream uh yeah so we’re gonna go and put all of i put all this across like so nice got a minor way of this i’ve got an

Axe in the shulker box actually i didn’t bring my ax i just didn’t have enough space to straight up put it in the inventory so you know it’s it’s doable right let’s go and do this so yeah i think next thing the next master plan is

Going to be to do the drinks machine i think that’s that’s a good idea so i have the uh a bunch of stuff for this let’s go and grab a load of it i also want to grab the uh what do i want the pillar quartz as

Well and also some slabs yeah so we’ll put those like that okay so right here we’re gonna have uh one two three pillar quartz then the same thing here so one two three these are gonna come all the way along the bottom we’re then gonna i

Think the block right here is gonna have two more like that perfect and then on top of here i’m gonna put a slab and those slabs are gonna go all the way along here all right perfect i’m gonna also have some along here and like this so this is the drinks machine

Starting to come to life so right here did i bring some i did i brought that block of ice so yeah right in here we’re going to have the ice we’re going to have the water or milk whatever you whatever your preferences will also put some cups underneath there we go so yeah

You can choose your different your different beverages there’s a little uh water machine i’d probably get some torches down here as well i don’t think anything can really spawn in here because um because the fact that it’s slabs mobs can’t spawn on slabs that’s a bonus isn’t it a little little bonus there’ll

Be no mob spawning in here but uh yeah it’s still good to make sure i say good to just double check these things i will maybe put some i’ll do the block down actually i feel like i don’t want these ones to be randomly higher than everything else really

This looks a little bit strange put that there and we’ll put that there nicely done okay so yeah i think that just leaves us to do the uh the seating area now okay so let me go and grab this in fact i just want the straight up

Birch slabs uh birch planks so let’s go and do this i’m gonna go and sit lily as well i feel bad for her i feel like she’s just been sat there for ages i feel like look at it she’s got a head in the wall she’s trying to watch but she couldn’t

But i think right so yeah i also will need slabs of course so this is gonna come across like this um yeah i feel like i might have done this a little strange i don’t know if um i think maybe these pillars shouldn’t be

In here i feel like i might get rid of these uh and just have these as like slabs i feel like it might look a little bit better uh so let’s go and do that yeah i think yeah yeah i agree with that okay so yeah i’m gonna do a slab there

And then this can be a uh a birch slab like that yeah i think i actually prefer the way that that looks so this would be a birch slab as well and we’re going to do the exact same thing so that get rid of that that

Get rid of that and both of them go all right nice and then we’ll go and put that there okay and then i’m going to put the torches on here instead yeah that looks better pleased with that okay now we’ll go and bring these along here

We’ll then go and get birch blocks the reason for this is because i need to put stairs down um for the seats so that’s why i’m doing on blocks because obviously on slabs it doesn’t doesn’t quite work out as well so we’ll go and put this slice this is where creeper

Just walks in here i just i just know i’m assuming you’re on guard you’re uh lily because i i’m not if it blows it up i’m gonna be so upset wouldn’t be the first time wouldn’t be the first time i had to rebuild every the whole creeper farm last time uh i

Blow big explosives incorporated from a creeper but here we have my finished subway okay i have completely done the uh all the building now there’s nothing more to add that i can i can see now i think we’re good we’ve got it’s well lit you can yeah come in you can buy your

Sandwiches and stuff it’s i think it’s i think it looks quite nice and you can have a little look at it from the front i think i’ll be replacing these blocks probably with sandstone eventually but i’ll just put them as as this for now don’t fall down no i’m sorry uh yeah
