Minecraft Spooky Build | 🪦 Haunted Graveyard Tutorial
Introduction
In this Minecraft tutorial, Max will show you how to build a haunted graveyard. Before we begin, make sure to like and subscribe to Max’s channel and follow him on Patreon for access to the world download. Let’s get started!
Building the Mausoleum
To start, we’ll create a circle layout for the mausoleum. Dig a hole 6 blocks deep in the circle, leaving one side for the entrance stairway. Replace the corners with stone bricks and add an arch shape. Replace the dirt with normal stone and create an arch for the ceiling. Next, replace the floor with stone bricks and add stairs in some places to make it look broken. Add mossy and cracked stones for more detail. Engrave tombstones in the walls and place one in the middle of the chamber. Finish the ceiling with cobblestone slabs and cover the chamber with grass blocks. Add stone walls for more texture and cobwebs for a spooky touch. Tidy up the stairway with stone bricks and add more textures.
Building the Mausoleum Exterior
Start with the entrance of the mausoleum. Use 5×5 stone bricks for the base structure, replace the top with stairs, and add texture. Create a building arch using polished andesite and a stair for the door frame. Add a middle arch that wraps over the structure and another arch on the back. Cover the back with a wall. Replace some andesite with normal stone and round the arch shape with a stair. Add a cross on the top of the entrance and spruce stairs for the roof. Use fences for wood accents and add patches of foliage. Create a dirt path to the front entrance and place a door. Tidy up any holes and close them with trapdoors.
Building the Rest of the Graveyard
For the rest of the graveyard, design your own layout depending on the terrain. Use different types of gravestones, such as normal stone and ones with crosses. Add gravel around the gravestones and create a path using coarse dirt or a dirt path. Place flower pots, flowers, fungi, unlit candles, carved pumpkins, and jack o’lanterns for decoration. Add soul sands in the ground and steps using spruce slabs and trapdoors. Finish off the graveyard with a broken wooden fence, iron bars, and soul lanterns.
