This is one of the first Minecraft speed runs ever it was performed by Sido sorcerer on March 28 2012 and for a while it was verified on the leaderboards however on July 21st 2018 that was no more as it was rejected for utilizing a texture pack that buffed the Use of pumpkins in the end but it may not be that simple you see this run was lucky so lucky that some have even questioned his legitimacy a small detail that probably went unnoticed by many was the fact that 11 out of 12 blazes dropped blaze rods and 13 out of 14 Enderman dropped ender pearls that is a ridiculously rare occurrence and when asked if you faked the run his reply raised more questions than answers however the run is so old that the truth will likely forever remain a mystery there are however tens of thousands more submissions to the Minecraft Leaderboards that have been rejected so let’s dive into the most interesting ones starting with the friend French Revolution well the entire Wikipedia definition of it as the rejection message for a Minecraft speed run the user behind the Run claims to have gotten the world record but there’s no Way of knowing since the video was deleted that however didn’t stop me because with my ability to see into the past I could just about make out what this submission once contained and of course its gameplay for Macarena the sponsor of this video for legal reasons I have to say that meccarina is not associated with the French Revolution but it is a fast-paced PVP game where you can play as a Mech blow up other mechs and if you happen to run into me lose because you stand no chance think you can defeat me I’d like to see you Try but first you’ll need to prepare by simply playing the game at the start you’ll have the Paragon in the Lancer the Paragon being my Mech of choice since it’s a very well-rounded option but if you enjoy getting those jumping Kos maybe the Lancer is for you Personally my favorite part of the game is the progression coupled with fun gameplay to begin your Mech will be weak and pathetic but after a few exhilarating battles you’ll start unlocking upgrades and new weapons and finally acquire some of those tasty match MVPs you can even unlock new items By participating in events like solar Survivor which introduced a new Mech new weapon three new maps and a ton of awesome goodies Macarena is completely free to play on Android iOS and PC and by using my personal link or scanning the QR code you’ll unlock a free starter Pack worth 30 dollars you can even add me as a friend via my Mech ID and join me on the battlefield but only if you act fast so what are you waiting for download Macarena today and with that out of the way let’s look at some rejected runs that you were never meant To see starting with the confusing case of Quasi tea he was a prominent runner for the pre 1.8 setsi gulshos category in early 2015 having submitted nine runs and improving his personal best from 2045 all the way to 10 20. eventually though the grind slowed down after Achieving a third place time and his PB progression lays stagnant for two years on April 8 2017 quay’s DT Rose from the Shadows with two new runs one barely missing out on sub 10 and the other jumping all the way down to 903 but this is when things started to get weird two Days later Those runs were verified but on the same day every previous run from Quay ziti was rejected all with the same message and all by the same person alumina might just be the greatest Minecraft speedrunner ever but what in the world was he doing on April 10 2017 That’s what I asked him with slightly different wording and as it turned out he had no clue because it was six years ago but eventually the truth revealed itself on that exact day alumina posted a message stating that a speedrun.com glitch had caused quay’s DT’s old runs To keep showing up despite the fact that the runner had a faster time and little did Illumina know the decision to reject Those runs would end up putting him in a video from which channel that you should definitely subscribe to Illumina clearly subscribe to the idea of an organized Leaderboard but five years later that policy would be threatened by one of the most insane World Records ever on June 10th 2020 dream completed a 22 minute four second run and submitted it to 80 percent glitchless where it was verified but the Run was so ahead of its time That it was still the fastest run regardless of glitch usage lucky typhilosion a mod at the time thought this was pretty funny so decided to submit and verify the same run to the any percent leaderboard making it stand atop both this joke wouldn’t last for very long since the meteoric rise of Minecraft speedrunning they came with the 1.16 update caused the mods to reconsider this decision more often though if a run is rejected it was likely never verified to begin with and there have been some bizarre ways that runs have been invalidated one strategy that Minecraft speedrunners use is playing with multiple instances of Minecraft it’s something that drastically speeds up the pace of resetting runs but it could be a bit tricky to set up just ask unrevoked who completed an entire speed run that looked like this credit words do though all four visible pixels that contain the gameplay show a pretty textbook one Cycle so congratulations I’d also like to congratulate father voids on getting the world record in the dream nether Challenge unfortunately the dream nether Challenge is not a category nor is the crafting table speed run the fine gold fast with creative mode speedrun the brake diamond shovel speed run the 100 Real speed run the diamond block speed run or the enchanted golden apple speedrunner but you want to know what should be a category the treadmill speedrun now I’m gonna be honest I’m not entirely sure what I’m looking at but I like what I see this as potential unlike The vast majority of submissions that are rejected fun fact a staggeringly high percentage of rejected runs fall in the category of spam someone sent in a video that didn’t display a legitimate speedrun but more often didn’t even contain a speed run it’s not uncommon to find Rick rolls this video this video This video and basically anything you can imagine in a submission to the Java Edition leaderboards of course none of these spam submissions have been verified but it’s pretty clear that the mods aren’t having any of it there is nothing correct about the submission it’s someone who submitted someone Else’s speed run with the wrong time the wrong version the wrong difficulty and lastly to the wrong category some other classic rejection messages include low effort spam Your Meme is bad and you should feel bad a link to this screenshot see a doctor Iraq Lobster it Is with the utmost regret that I inform you that you are not funny uh okay you get the point the average projection message isn’t nearly this creative probably because the average rejection is for spam but every so often I stumble across a rejected run that sticks out Like a sore thumb the case of Sky Fidel is like a needle in a haystack because there aren’t many people who are clever enough to invent a way to get a world record it all began after naming a world wr3 the Run starts out in creative mode Where a bunch of items are brought into the game and placed in a chest that chest is then converted into an inventory slot and placed down about 110 times across a few hundred blocks with task manager Sky Fidel crashes the game and then goes into file explorer and Deletes these three files after loading into Minecraft again a new survival world is created that is named wr3 and after some rather aimless wandering around an area with many corrupted chunks is located near spawn and in it is a chest after that the Finish Line was well within sight foreign It should go without saying that this run is absolutely brilliant but unfortunately not verifiable in the slightest it’s not very often you see a verifier that is sad that they had to reject a run now up to this point I’ve shown you many types of rejected runs But there is one category I’ve yet to cover the cheaters this submission right here is the one that got dream exposed the rejection message links to a Twitter post that contains a 14 minute video accompanied by a 29-page document explaining why he cheated unfortunately almost all of his other runs are gone Because he deleted them this was dream submission for his iconic 1.15 world record that currently has 33 million views on YouTube and the only reason I’m able to show it to you right now is because he’s notable enough for this to have been archived on the way back Machine in other words many cheaters delete their submissions in order to wipe the evidence and usually they’re gone for good that said on the other end of the spectrum there’s Minecraft Avenger who hasn’t deleted any of his runs but who knows if that’s actually what he wanted since the mods being well Aware of how cheaters often react to being exposed archive them before he got the chance it’s honestly quite bizarre seeing so many rejected runs from one person out of 51 submissions 50 of them were rejected because quote the Run was performed by a known cheater the one Outlier was the run that got him caught which was a world record but there is nobody with even remotely as many rejected runs and it’s a record that will likely never be broken Video Information
