Throughout the history of minecraft content there have been plenty of players that have pulled off insane ideas and proved to be of superior intelligence this got me thinking there are so many smart minecraft content creators but what about the average player yes what about you who is

Watching this video right now could you actually be the smartest minecraft player these questions kept nagging at my brain and i just had to do something about it i decided to run an experiment consisting of multiple challenges that would only have one winner where anyone

And i mean anyone with a java version of minecraft could participate welcome to the search for the smartest minecraft player It all started on the 11th of february 2022 when i posted a video on the baldsfor channel this video reached out to absolutely everyone and stated that a server would open on sunday the 13th of february all that server had was a puzzle that you needed to solve in order

To continue the next phase of the trial it was really simple or was it on the 13th of february at 2 pm eastern standard time the server opened and people started flooding in there was an insane amount of people trying to join the server and it filled up instantly so

A huge thanks to dedicated mc for providing such a solid server the goal of this puzzle was to filter out the people who were smart enough for challenges yet to come but the entire community on my discord came together to try and solve it it wasn’t my intention

But it was damn cool to see an entire community work together towards the same goal and this is what everyone was trying to solve when you joined the server you spawned in a box that was half black half white there was a weird structure in the

Middle of the room that looked like a tall stem of a fallen tree on top of that stem were four flowers that seemed random with no further connection to the rest of the puzzle the four bottom corners of the room had a different block each a gold block an emerald block

Another eye block and an obsidian block if you looked closely you could see four different blocks at the bottom of the stem right behind the fences a composter an iron block a glass block and an ancient debris they all had a connection to the blocks in the outer corners the

Main attraction of the puzzle was the riddle you could read it on the birch sign and it went like this you could bring me home to your place but i’m not sure there’d be enough space what am i at first glance this might seem like a vague riddle that could have multiple

Alternative answers however i wouldn’t make it that simple on the black side of the box were some warped signs this is where most people got confused and started overthinking the entire puzzle this is what the signs said sometimes the question is not what you think sometimes the question is not even a

Question at all it might be just a distraction look at the flower for instance is it part of the puzzle or is it just a ruse you can never know for certain this is all the information the room presented that was useful to the puzzle using it people had to type one

Word in chat as their answer and would instantly get banned with the message thank you for submitting your answer which means everyone had only one try if you didn’t get a chance to participate and would like to try to solve the puzzle pause the video and feel free to

Leave a comment on what your answer would have been now as for the solution let’s start with the warped signs i know they might look confusing but trust me these warped signs are here to help and if you pay attention to detail they actually do

More good than harm if we take a look at sign number 3 and 4 the first sentence states flower singular when there are four flowers in the room the sentence right after has the wrong punctuation at the end it should have a question mark since it is formulated as a question but

Instead it has a period this grammar mistake was indeed on purpose and indicates that the flowers are 100 a part of the puzzle if we examinate the flowers you would notice that only one of them has the word flower in their name which would fit the warped signs

That flower would be the cornflower from here we need to think how can this flower help us well there are four flowers in the room each covering a quadrant of it that splits the room into four sections each section has two blocks that stand out the one in the

Corner and the one under the stem the flower is growing on top of the cornflower has glass and obsidian these two materials are used to craft a beacon the other corners also have ingot blocks that could be used to activate a beacon which was an unintentional hint now

Going back to the riddle on the birch sign how could the answer to it be beacon in order to understand that we need to combine two hints one of them is the first and second warped signs the second one is more complex before logging on the server you can see the

Message of the day for that server in your server list this puzzle had that message state think outside the box which was meant literally there was a sign outside the main room of the puzzle that said read between the lines of the question and that was also meant literally once you combine this

Statement with the warped signs indicating that the main question might not be a question at all you would start examining the riddle if you read it closely you can notice bring me home statement which is a direct indication towards the achievement called bring home the beacon which indicates that the

Same height as the player there were a lot of different stuff hanging from the ceilings and at this point everything seemed extremely random on the walls you could see fences with buttons and chains placed behind them on top of all this there were two signs and a furnace encased in tinted glass the

Question on the crimson sign stated what’s in the furnace which was the question people had to answer to solve the puzzle the other sign had a bunch of random words all starting with the letter c there was nothing hidden outside the puzzle room so this is actually all the information people

Received comment your answers down below to see if you are smarter than you think as for the solution let’s start with the buttons and the chains behind the fences to the regular person it might seem random but it is indeed morse code using an online morse code translator you

Would get the word skewer on one side of the wall and s plus one on the other if you focused on the word skewer and used it to make sense of absolutely anything in the room there is one specific block that would make the most sense on the

Ceiling there was pointed drip stone when one of those falls and kills you the death message in chat would be player was skewered by a falling stalactite which would indicate that you must be standing under the drip stone to continue the puzzle the second phrase s

Couldn’t be as easy as the first one because i didn’t want 100 finalists so i decided to keep it simple but vague here is puzzle number three room is 5×5 and there isn’t much in it all you have to do is answer the riddle displayed on the signs this is how it

Goes i’m a reflection of anger and fear i can hurt those who hold dear sometimes i can be absurd but sometimes i am simply a word what am i this puzzle seems extremely vague but in reality there isn’t much that can fit as an answer at least when i tried i couldn’t

Come up with any other alternatives than the one i had so in spirit of wanting people to solve it i felt generous and put three clues in the room number one was a dirt block number two was an armor stand with a piece of enchanted diamond armor standing above lava and number

Three was a pumpkin pie using all these three obvious hints you should easily be able to find the answer right well maybe it’s a little bit more complex than that if we first take a look at the dirt and the pumpkin pie they don’t actually have a direct

Power and even though each contestant showed a unique set of skills there can only be one winner and here are the results in the fourth place with a solid time of 55 minutes and 5 seconds we have tnt noob insane performance but sadly got too distracted by the lime room

Which cost a lot of time in the third place with a strong time of 48 minutes and 15 seconds we have cyberstar super good performance but the pink room was just not being cooperative in the second place with a sturdy time of 44 minutes and 2 seconds we have gopro david smooth

Performance but the pink room was just not disliking in the first place with only an 18 second difference from the second place we have party knowledge with a popping time of 43 minutes and 44 seconds this was an inspiring performance and she actually received the least amount of hints as well so
