Besides having the ability to change settings in a world in Minecraft education edition you also have the ability to use a command-line interface which we usually call slash commands you access this interface by hitting the slash key on your keyboard you can see on mine screen a partial list of the Commands that are available to you and we also provide you additional documentation and links that you can use to learn more about these throughout the course one example of a command you might want to use is the give command after typing the slash key you can type In give hit the spacebar and you can target this command at yourself at a random player at the player nearest to you at all players or all entities in this case let’s say I wanted to give everybody in the game myself and all of my students a set of items so I’ll give Them a diamond pickaxe okay and I also want to make sure they have some torches one of the handy things about slash commands is if I type in slash and the up key on the keyboard I’ll see my previously entered command so I don’t need to retype the whole Thing I just want to backspace out diamond pickaxe change this to torch and instead of just one torch maybe I want to give each player thirty torches you can add on to this command by putting in the number of the item that you want so now here if I look in my Inventory I have one diamond pickaxe and I have thirty torches as would everyone else that’s currently playing in the game Video Information

In Minecraft: Education Edition, you have the ability to use a command-line interface, called slash commands. Type the slash key (/) on your keyboard to pull up a partial list of the commands that are available to you.
One example of a command you might want to use is the Give command, which can immediately provide you with resources. Type /give, and hit the space bar to see your options. You can target this command at yourself, at a random player, the player nearest to you or at all players. A teacher may want to give all of their students structure blocks!
