Vampirism Showcase. Minecraft. Become a Vampire.

Hello everyone my name is law thorne and welcome to minecraft vampirism a showcase minecraft version 1.17.1 8.3 alpha of vampirism showing off what’s new and grooving in the old game of vampirism this mod is by maxinar and with it being the spooky season i thought it’d be a good time to showcase

Vampirism all that’s new in it and all that’s going on other mods that i am using include wildfire’s gender mod the waystone mod and guidebook api this is not a how-to this is not a guide but rather a showcase and well here’s one of the features already is villages get raided

And taken over without your involvement fun internal politics with not the effort required so what’s the mod vampirism about well if you couldn’t guess from everything that’s going on is a mod about being and becoming a vampire or if you’re of a different persuasion being and becoming vampire hunters the vampire hunter

Building is a rather popular building in this village and it is the perfect place to start your vampire journey or vampire hunter journey this guy trains you how to become a vampire hunter more details about that in the guidebook or in my guide you can go check out or

If you want to get started in different measures then you sneak up to this building and you happen to steal the vampire fangs with these fangs you simply prick yourself in the arms they’ll intoxicate you poison you and affect you with sanguine air vampirism this will eventually turn you into a

Vampire alternatively you can get infected with sangria near vampirism by getting bitten by a vampire in a vampire forest or just finding him out and about although they do tend to congregate within the vampire forest oh my goodness just look at all them now turning into a

Vampire does take time around i think 15 minutes so you’ll have to wait for a bit and you’ll be in this state until then milk will clear the stairs effects so if you don’t want to be a vampire suck on a cow and now you are a vampire and once

You’ve become a vampire you may notice a few changes you may have grown a mustache you may have an aversion to sunlight you will find that the foods you once ate are no longer appealing water makes you feel weak you have hair growing places that didn’t grow before and much much more well

All these things have their reasons and can be addressed in their own ways see vampires do not like sunlight and so you have to hide from the sun they do not like water so stay out of the water in fact if you are a vampire the best

Thing to do is to go lie down in a coffin like a sew these can be crafted you’ll figure it out if not you go check out the how-to vampirism video if you don’t like your appearance being that of a mustachioed mischievo you can go click over on the fangs

And there’s an appearance menu and oh wow there’s so many options in the appearance menu and there there’s a lot of them and then there’s a tom mouse so this is meant to be a mouth it’s meant to be like fang so someone has like big wide

Minecraft mouth there’s a mouth there as they have that little red thing sure why not they can have a giant bloody gaping hole you can have nothing and there we look normal besides the glowy eyeballs then you may have noticed that there’s these two other buttons here there’s the

Action editor which we um can combine keys to but we don’t have any keys right now and there is the skill screen menu which oh has all the leveling up skills very exciting and well we’re going to go through all these skills and take looks at them and

See just what is going on with these exciting menus but before we get to that we have to get to how you level up with this l it’s very straightforward to level up you just do a little bit of blood magic what you do to start off with

Is you gather yourself some glass bottles and then you quietly go off into the night to find the victim you will find there’s a bit of competition out here but hey that doesn’t really matter biting is performed with the v key as a base v for vampire v for vampirism and

If you are full which is what your hunger bar is being replaced with little blood droplets down here then the bottles that you have will instead get filled with the blood which is a very nice feature you can sort of store it for later i like to think that

The vampires have some sort of magic involved but it’s probably just your um sucking spitting into a bottle let’s be real here now any creature when bitten any animal any creature in the game has a chance once you get down to the final bit of becoming a ghoul or a zombie or a

Vampiric whatever so we got ourselves a vampiric hog here and he’ll actually go bike other hogs and it doesn’t work on chickens of course you just you you bite a chicken and well they just don’t have enough blood for some reason also vampires have another really nice perk which is zombies

And skeletons are both kind of like fell on dead so you got sort of nice oh no truce of the undead going on there anyways with these bottles of blood well you can drink them on the go if you’re a little bit thirsty or you can take them and put them into

This altar here this altar is your level up thing it’s a believe called the altar of inspiration and when you have fulfilled this end up it’ll strike with lightning and level you up and then you get access to oh the lovely up tree leveling up is very nice level one

Gives you night vision very nice to have on the old skeletry being able to see stuff very nice and we’ll just quickly go through the base game levels as the leveling up actually does change as you go along and you can use this alter all

The way up to level 4 taking more blood each time that will bring you to the end of the basic level up and to the point right before you get to the options for whole now powers are achieved by holding down the hotkey you’ve predetermined and set mine is set to r

And so i can toggle to a bat i can activate regeneration this will give me vampire regen and also make me awfully thirsty i can also turn into a tiny little bat and it appears now it keeps you with all your health as before it used to drop your health through absolutely nothing

And it wasn’t a very good time let me tell you and if we go into our options here we can actually set hotkeys to these so we can go alt one for regeneration and we can go alt two for vampire bat and then bam we can just set to a hotkey

Which is really useful especially for some of these powers which require a little bit more aiming and you can also rebind them to whatever you might like on your keyboard or mouse now as you become more powerful as a vampire the sun and the water will both

Have more effects on your purse and hood or undeadness the sun will burn more than it used to and the water will weaken you more than it did you also have access to more hearts and more options of eating and you get a passive armor which just goes up so even

If you’re not wearing gear you get armor as a vampire the night vision is actually tolerable its base set is n and so we’re just going to turn up there and now sunlight is making us weak nauseous and actually starting to hurt us and so very soon we should

Be disintegrated by the sun golems have a dislike for the undead and will try to kill you and these uh vampire hunters that happen to own this village will also dislike you and i think that’s a good point to talk about the stinking vampire hunters

Yes so out in a boat in the world you will encounter camps filled with these guys these suckers these vampire hunters they wear different outfits that guy’s wearing his baby blues this guy’s got pointy stick that guy there’s a professional have all these tents around campfire this is actually a particular big camp

And these suckers will attempt to slay you as you are a vile vampire and they hate you and well it’s their job to hunt and kill you but they they have juicy bits inside if you can kill them which are necessary for a vampire to do his leveling up but before that

Let’s talk about leveling up to the next step so to level up now you require this silly structure here you’ll need the ultra infusion and you’ll need these pillars to start off with you only need four of them you don’t need these ones here and they also don’t need to be

Filled with gold in fact instead of filling them with gold you can put both iron and stone in them however gold is the best material to put into them as it is the late game lovely amp see if we look at the book and we talked about leveling

It’ll now show us the pillars required and so to start off with its four pillars empty then four pillars cobblestone four pillars iron four pillars gold and then six pillars gold however if you wish to start off with all of them it doesn’t impact you it’ll

Just take the max level and go yeah sure why not then you need to put stuff into here and while remember us killing those vampire hunters well that’s because from them we need hearts and hearts are gotten through killing villagers killing vampire hunters or trading with villagers uh particularly the

Villager butcher especially if he’s a vampiric one that’s where a different feature comes into play villages are rather important resource to you and if they haven’t be occupied by the wrong sort of people well then it’s not great for you so but you can train this sort of people into

The right sword people and you can make a village get attacked by undead so these little pillars here control who controls the village and you can basically activate and mount raids against villages and have sort of like attacks and good amounts of fun now i believe there’s vampire hunters fighting

Vampires here and we’re most likely going to lose us there’s not many vampires involved in this raid although the numbers are increasing it has to come down just who wins this sucker of a battle the vampire um battle will go under advantage now appears to be have a

Little conflict of interest that guy really didn’t appreciate him getting shot by the crosstalk oh and there’s one of those hearts excellent excellent timing also sometimes villagers will disagree to the takeover of their village you will happen to find and they will very pointedly tell you to start off with pitchforks

There we go there’s the villager with the pitchfork so he’s one of the rebellion factors so you have to get rid of all those guys this one’s also resisting a little pitchfork there we go and now the village belongs to vampires and has gone all foggy as a vampire village and now

Anyway so you build this structure you collect your hearts you trade for them if you can you find them and you put the hearts in here you’ll also need bottles but you will need hearts and you’ll need vampire books oh what are vampire books well vampire

Books are a special book that can be found around the world in various different dungeons and chess however there’s also a chance that you can find a vampire book inside the building a vampire hunter expert now it’s one of the best places to look for them so in this lovely little village here

We can tramps about inside and we can recover the book of my prince and usually they’ll actually have a small little story about vampires in them which can be pretty nifty and you just scope out every single vampire hunting expert so you can become the very best

So with the new books in hand you then go back to your crazy altar thing you have set up here you put one of the books inside and you get shot with a laser i think this is a very cool level up it just looks so cool so each

Segment you go up the laser just gets more more so the first one is shoot one laser to the center and then it shoots into you’re like oh getting lasered and you’ll see that it will increase our stats so it gives us saturation gives us blood call achievement or slightly more powerful

Vampire that can now select new abilities and so that power can be from a whole list of options so we could go down a bunch of different routes and we’re going a couple of them all so first we’re going to go look at the left side and that gives you blood range that’s

Another one of these little wheel powers and that makes you angry hit hard faster and i’m really annoyed about these stupid spiders so puts me into a blood rage strength haste and speed all are now yours command you’re like okay let’s level up again i’ll put this

In here all right let me do the ritual wait i need blood purity one and this is when this gets a little cannibalistic as you need to go murder vampire barons or slay kill whatever you fancy uh term wise and get their enriched and powerful blood to increase your own power so our

Vampire power is not in a vacuum and to be a more powerful vampire you have to take down other powerful vampires so sort of like highlander it’s a king of the hill the strongest ruins supreme overall and the vampire barons can be found in vampire force this is their

Home the place they hang the spot that they chill however i’m not going to wait around to find them so let’s bring them to you and not waste any more time they got their own egg and there’s both male and female vampire variants they’re very hostile very territorial so territorial that there’s

Other vampire bearings around they will fight in a duel and there’s the lady one she’s got a big poofy bottom they all get their wings out they all fight and great frack ass and upon slaying one of them and achieving regicide you will get that purity blood

Thing that we are looking for oh fancy anyways you got their blood it doesn’t matter as long as there’s purity at or above the level you need and so you put that blood in and you can level up again and then just keep scaling like that

This mod also has a very nice command level you just go slash vampirism and that gives you all the different options you can change your appearance if you like you can do level up you can do lord level ups and so we’re about to level up to the next level of vampirism

But we can also level up lower thorn and then that will give me another level of vampirism and we can just keep level boosting each level makes you slightly passively stronger and level 14 is the max level you can get to and well then you select all your skills so going

Down this side we’ve got the very combative side so blood rage advanced biter finisher dark blood projectiles blood charge and freezing a whole bunch of skills a whole bunch of fighting going on here and part of the finisher and blood charging is the vampiric sword so there’s a whole bunch of these suckers

They’re really cool all right so vampiric swords heart seeker and a heart striker both incredibly powerful artifacts for a vampire to wield one of them is a giant freaking jumper the other is a much finer swingy slash the sword these swords are crafted with blood-infused ingots now you get blood-infused ingots

By combining vampire blood with iron and you can get enchanted blood-infused ingots by using pure blood of prt5 with ingots now i’ll give you better ingots anyways these swords have secondary properties to them which is their damage is based on charge so these swords have no charge so their damage is rather pitiful

You’ll also see that their attack speed is absolutely miserable but that is unrelated to anything else so we charge these swords it’s kind of an interesting concept these swords strength is actually based on how much blood they have infused in them so i can charge them by simply putting them on that

Thing but i can also charge them by sneaking and right clicking and pouring my own blood into this sword as i am a vampire skilled in charging blood artifacts and once they are fully charged it amplifies the damage and also lets you name them they give you pre-ordaining so this one

Can be called convergence as this one’s fully charged we could call it narcoleptic the names are random they can be cool they can be lame and you’ll see they do way more damage now that they are fully charged their attack speeds are still abysmal and how we

Modify the attack speed is we kill things with them so it currently has a training of zero which makes it so when i swing this thing the re-swing is going to be really really slow but now it has seven percent training and it is already slightly faster speed of 4.9

And now the sword is fully trained it has a speed of almost 1.8 so something else that being this kind of vampire that i am right now on this side is that i have the move finisher which i instantly kill any non-vampire target that has a health below 25 percent of

Its max i can shoot blood protectors i can do the blood targeting and i can freeze things okay so i’m cool then we can use our blood projectile power with zed just to launch it so we can attack them with that and my targets go down fairly easily something else is enemies

Drop goodies and these goodies give you well modifiers new school items that you can get off basically anything you kill with these swords but they are related to what you have so i have an amulet invulnerability it makes my damage limiter better i have a ring which um increases

My armor and we can equip these items on this little screen here so we got a whole bunch of them so we got finisher skill threshold increased by one and yeah just a whole bunch of random rings and ambulance stuff and speaking of little toys and little items on the body

There’s a whole load of new stuff for vampires to wear and use and ooh they do looks pretty so come with me and do my little home my wee abode here and we can look inside all the stone you see before you is from the vampires the mod made there are

Various different means and all these items also come with vampirism there is now vampire boots a vampire hat vampire pants and for the classy king of vampire crown as well as an umbrella and a feeder adapter the hat crashes my game and i believe that world is now lost forever

Ah fixed it so if you’re using the beta don’t wear the little hat all right then next all the other items though are perfectly fine we got a pair of pants oh lovely pants we got a pair of classy boots we got crown oh don’t i look fly with that crown on

Very lovely oh what a good crown i like it a lot and a fancy little umbrella for going outside with umbrella has to be in your main hand to actually work and not get you burned to a crisp there’s also a cape oh you can wear the cape on your main body

It does really really weird things with one of the mods i happen to have but it’s like a nice vampire cloak on your vap on your back and all these armor items do not reduce the movement speed because normal armor items do however these ones leave you at your normal

Armor and speed as being a higher level vampire increases your speed so sort of a nice little things they’re not as good as good armor could be but you can still wear them and oh boy they are expensive my goodness don’t go buying one of those blood containers

Yes blood container so you can get these containers filled with blood there’s several ways to fill a container filled with blood one of them is to have blood in a blood bottle and you walk up to the container you go fill up with blood another way is you take meat a heart

Will do something like raw beef and go ahead and you put on this blood grinder and then i’ll grind it all up and i’ll push it through this sieve make a lovely meat to juice mmm all right now you got the gear you got the bed

You got the looks but maybe you want to go out on the town and you don’t want the townsfolk and the golems to hate you or the other players because like oh you got glowy eyes or some freakish vampire face well there’s another path of leveling up

Which is the midway path but we only got four skill points left and that oh that’s a problem only four skill points left i i want to do more well there is a new potion for the vampire vampires which can change your skill set for you if

You’d rather go one way than another you decide you don’t like the skills you have and that is the potion of oblivion which uh can be attained through rewards with a faction we’ll cover what those are but you go no no no no you drink this potion and you’re now affected by oblivion

And oblivion resets your skills and now you can choose a different path to go down and so we’ll go back down the path we’ll get to some of the bat swarm instead of freezing this time you can get tough skin or water resistant tuscan reduces damage water resistant makes water

Weaken you less there’s also this little side path of hissy nearby so you can disorient other entities then frugal vampire you don’t need to drink as much disguise dammit lynch murder and invisibility so this is for the sneaky snakey vampire that wants to be inco special damage limiter gives you

Slowness and you become a tank the next power is invisibility and this mod actually gives you true invisibility so you leave footprints but you don’t have the shell you don’t have any of your items showing up it’s very good invisibility it’s the true right proper invisibility where nobody can see a

Sucker and you can also disguise yourself and you notice my eyes are normal again i’m not a vampire and gollums won’t treat you as undead and you can go about society hello my good sir i’m not a vampire don’t mind me oh yes well he knows anyways and so then you go

Hiss you’re disoriented and you run away cackling the path of i think i’ll call it the path of the hunter or the revenant or something anyways you can get sunscreen give you a movie you can choose if you want permanent taxpayer move speed i mean attack speed is cool but new speeds

Like hey i’m faster and then you can get blood vision you can garlic vision then you can get current damage boosts or apparent jump boosts then you can choose if you want fast recovery or swift regeneration so it decreases the reservation timer or decreases the time in your knowledgeable form so go down

Then you get teleportation so this is all the fancy magic vampire stuff so it’s like i’m super fast or you could hit really hard or something and you’re like i can teleport teleportation activate and also if you happen to get oofed so vindicator with his axe he’s gonna get me

And then i can give up or i can resurrect i’m back baby just like disco you can’t catch me i can teleport you’re not in a good state when you’re in this um no lit form it doesn’t seem to change your appearance at all it’s really not good for you to be like

This and now let’s talk about the garlic vision and the night vision they don’t work in this beta but when they do work they’re pretty cool let’s go see an older version now anyway um so blood vision unless you see all of the antis so red things will be

Represented with blood uh things you can’t suck will be represented with gray and if you have garlic vision then things that will be set represented with green that garlic in them and so you basically do a little scan forms like blood yes let’s go let’s get some blood flowing

This little thing here gives a villager a job this um or this object is called gives a villager job out and that new job is this guy right here the vampire expert he’ll trade you stuff for vampire shenanigans and stuff and there’s a more important villager

That can be found in villages i haven’t found him in the newer version but if we go back to the older version yet again we will come across a new job villager very important villager helps you progress after you reach level 14 and that is the vampire representative he’s

Fancy like this and he gives you quests to do upon completing the quest you get things so lower levels he’ll just give you kind of lame quests like i’ll give you money if you infect people this but we have this are you worthy and he’ll give you vampire lord success and

So he gives you a whole bunch of things to do raid villages or defend them infect mobs get gold bring me five purity blood five and then you go oh i accept and i’m a worthy vampire law and then we complete those quests they’ll give you a vampire lordship

Title vampirism lord level one lawathon now i’m a vampire lord level one and there’s a new threshold has been reached we are a new level of superiority and we are a baron five levels of vampire lord i don’t think give you any new skills to play around with however that traitor guy

Will give you new quests for levels of lord and your level of lord determines how many minions you can have so let’s take a look at these new items the feeder adapter the rings and amulets you can get to enhance yourself with and i believe the vampire minion upgrades and binding items

So these vampire minions binding items are very interesting first we’re going to cover the feeder adapters the feeder adapter lets you have a blood bucket in your backpack now you can take the adapter and you can just sip on and suck up the blood from the container in your

Backpack that carrying around so sort of like one of those uh pack camels that you use in adventure racing and biking all right the minion binding oh the vampire is you find yourself a wimpy little vampire and you say to him i’m boss now he becomes your minion and

Shrinks him it’s kind of adorable then you got yourself a vampire minion it’s like hello minion and your minion has a bunch of orders you can tell them to stay fall collect blood defend the lord you can change his appearance so he has a slight ton of skins to go through

Um we’re going to go with a minion sebastian and we can name him bastion there we go and our friend sebastian here we can equipped with all sorts of armor so we can give him a vampire cloak and then he’s got a fancy cloak on him here have

A vampire sword and he’s like what no have it in your hands like oh okay so he can give him the sword in his hand and then we can improve his stats but to do that we have to level them up and that’s where the vampire scrolls of leveling go so which

One become better and we give them the gray one then we give them the yellow one then we give them the light blue one and then we can go all right minion i want you to have a bigger inventory spies once you have way more max health

I want you to be fast i want you to have attack damage then that’s this minions job now you can say and now go and collect blood for me it’s like okay boston it’ll disappear and then there’s a hotkey and options energy control so you can go uh minion i mean sebastian

I require your assistant so uh come to me now minion Defend your lord and there’s a whole bunch of commands you can mess with and you can get up to five minions as a vampire prince all right then what’s next after this because i michaels i actually messed around with this for so long but we’re just going to cut all that

And then once you are done being a vampire you can go to a church and find jesus and i’m not kidding about this this is what you actually do stop being a vampire you go to one of these little book things here you’re craftable but you don’t have to

Revert back to normal human you just go i want to stop being a vampire please jesus make me normal again and then what bam you’re killed by magic you’re no longer a vampire and then you can go out to become a vampire hunter for some inane reason but we will look at that
