As most of us know new Villages were added in the 1.14 Minecraft update and in a previous video I showed you what I thought a swamp Village would look like if made in a Minecraft style and added to the game today I want to theorize another Village that wasn’t added the Jungle the jungle is a pretty unique biome in Minecraft as it’s probably the most densely packed biome in the entire game this presents an issue for us if we want to create a vanilla style Village there are trees everywhere and bushes all over the floor which makes it pretty Difficult for the pillagers to pathfind to the villagers they can get all kinds of stuck in this biome but let’s ignore that and start building the concept now in order to set up our village the first thing we’re gonna have to do is take care of the Jungle there’s no way that We will be able to make a vanilla style village with all of the leaves everywhere especially all of bushes that are scattered along the floor there’s basically no grass blocks so I figure the best thing to do is to take out all of the logs in a specific area kind of Like you would see in a real life jungle Village and clear out the entire area now this is no easy thing it takes absolutely ages to get rid of all of the logs by hand fortunately you don’t have to sit here and watch me do it there’s Going to be a bit of a time lapse where you can just see all of the leaves Decay but that took a really long time so thankfully that is sped up once we have an area cleared and if you are going to be making something like this I Recommend making it way bigger than you think it should be that would be my advice so now that it’s clear we can start by making the actual house style so we need to have a little think about this I think that we should go with the Jungle log as the base and the frame of it and then the jungle planks as the decorating obviously we do want it to feel like it fits in with the Minecraft jungle and therefore use the same wooden palette the question is what should we use for the roof of this building and Subsequently the rest of the village now the one that jumps to my mind is the hay block now that’s because it’s the closest thing to Like Straw or grass or it’s a very natural product something that you might expect in real life the problem is that’s a very expensive block To be throwing out in a village and likely if this was a real Mojang Village the player would just go and steal all of it because he could turn that into valuable food very very cheaply however we will use hay because I do think it is The most suitable block and I think it will fit in very very nicely to decorate this particular house and to kind of cement this style I think I’m going to keep it quite open and Airy I don’t want to cement everything off with a bunch of Solid walls instead I’m going to have a baseline of logs or planks and then decorate it with a bit of fencing around it so it still feels nice and open and Airy but we still have a pretty nice looking Hut that looks like it with would withstand some of the elements now That we’ve got the base design down it’s time to start setting out exactly what this Village is going to look like and of course setting a town center with the Bell is very important so I made a quick kind of campfire surrounded by rocks and A bit of pod saw mixed in there I think it works really well and I put that bang in the Center of this and then I took my shovel to the dirt and tried to make lots of straight lines around it to try and emulate what a village would look Like this takes a lot longer than you would think however it does work quite well and this gives me some indication where I’m going to paste the other buildings in speaking of the other buildings I need to show you them so just as I did all of the different Designs for the swamp Village and I’ve you know I’ve lined all of these up so they’re all kind of on the same wavelength I have done the same for all of the Jungle houses all handmade and all of them present and accounted for that way I can just paste these into the Jungle and we can create the village very very quickly so this is the house that I made originally this is the design that everything is set after so let’s continue along we’ve got the medium house and some of these are actually part of trees I thought in a Jungle Village why not actually have it integrated into the jungle especially as a lot of the area has been cleared I thought it would be excellent to integrate it in some capacity now this design may be a little more on the complex side especially as it kind of Goes up a notch but overall I think it’s really cool the important thing is to have this so that the pillages and the villagers can actually get inside I thought about having these houses really fire up the tree but then the villagers couldn’t operate in them at least this Way they can still pathfind inside there’s still some space for them to work in and the pillagers can get in as well so that’s the second house design let’s move on to some of the more specialized things like the animal pen this is just a smaller version of that One in a jungly style I’m not gonna put too many of these in the village because they take up a lot of unnecessary space I’m going to stick mainly to the houses another one is the small farm that we’ve got here got a couple of composters and Basically I just did didn’t put any barriers around this one because I thought in the jungle they’re probably just going to sort of use patches and then there’s a bit of water there as well moving on there are a lot to get through so I’m going to zip through These as quickly as possible we have the fisherman Hut now in the jungle I’m not sure about fishing unless there’s a river but I have to make every single one so here it is it’s basically the first house with this little balcony on the side this little area here and then There’s obviously some water in the barrels for it moving on we’ve got the butcher’s Hut now a lot of these buildings in all of the villages they all look fantastic but a lot of the time they are just buildings with the specific block inside so for this one I Follow sort of followed suit so it’s just a another straw Hut slightly different shape and size and then we’ve got the smoker inside for that particular job moving on again this time I’ve gone for another tree one this is the Cartographer Hut now one of the Things that I’ve tried to do is like mimic the the height of this one especially when I did the swamp one I made sure that the cartographers because they make maps they can go up a level and they have a slightly taller house sort of like they they’re looking over The land to see it so this one has a slightly different design and it is again attached to a tree and it’s on stilts but again close enough to the ground so that the pillages and villagers can access it not everything needs to be an actual house with walls And stuff this one is more of just a Shack or sort of like a pillars it it doesn’t have any uh front wall here it’s just an accessible area with a little bit of shelter and then of course got a bit of lava here got to be careful with This because it can cause some pretty heavy fires learn that one the hard way moving on again this is possibly my favorite design out of the whole thing this is the tool Smith house and the reason I like this one so much is because it’s the only circular one that I made or as circular as it gets and I I just absolutely love the ones this one is definitely making it into the jungle Village and it feels really nice inside as well again not everything needs to be a house for the armorer we’ve got just another sort of stand where they can Work and having the the diversity in the different kinds we’ve got circular one we’ve got a few square ones different heights and stuff this is what’s going to make the village feel more realistic if you’ve just got loads of the same house it just doesn’t feel quite right And the same goes for the Mason it’s not really it’s I I’ve written Mason house here it’s not really a house at all it’s more like a straw on a stick so we’ve got the the stone cutter here and I thought it’d be fun to sort of hang a Bit of stone there to actually make like make it look like it’s being cut along with like some actual cut stone next to it so I think that works really really well we’ve got the Fletcher Hut and I kind of used some of the other ones for Inspiration on this one this is a slightly larger house with a different shape and again it’s just gone for the hay bales as roof because it does look like you know dried leaves or something like that I think it fits the jungle really really well well we got the Shepherd’s house got the area for the Sheep this is very similar to our first house but the uh the roof here is different it just Slants over the top as with a lot of them so you see there’s a lot of consistency but each individual One is unique in some way just like with every single building in The Villages and they all look fantastic right this is the Tannery Hut this is another one that’s connected to a tree so I’m hoping that there will be a couple of trees in the jungle Village and I think this one May make the cut simply because it does look really really nice and we’re coming to the last two now the f one of the final ones is the library now the library is always really distinct in my opinion especially that one they tend to Be a little bit on the bigger side and I thought I would continue that and this one definitely stands out because it is Big A-frame and it’s the only building that I’ve included that has cobblestone as a foundation I figured because it is a library it’s holding knowledge it Should have slightly more Foundation it’s quite an important communal build thing and then it’s got a bell on the top as well obviously the villagers can’t reach that on the inside you’ve got like a seller bit here where the the Cobblestone is but if you go up here There’s plenty of books to read and uh plenty of space as well and then finally we have the temple which is a bit of a favorite because they are very distinct you know out of all of the buildings these do look quite similar as you scroll through them but then when you Hit the temple there’s always like a little bit more uniqueness with like the tower so I’ve made that consistent throughout my designs and the jungle one is no different it’s slightly larger but you know this is kind of a fan design it’s not real but I am trying to make These as mojangi as possible so that they look like they would actually be in the game if jungle villagers were to be added but at the same time I do want them to look really really cool so I’ve got this little Tower here and then an Air area over here as well and for some reason they have Brewing stands in them not a lot of detail on the inside but overall I think each of these houses are very very nice now I’m not going to put all of these in the village itself But I will be putting my favorites along with some of the sort more decorative stuff and hopefully with all of these pasted in we can take a tour around it so let’s paste them in now this shouldn’t take too long because I’ve already got all of the buildings set out I just need to place them in an area which I think works out and I very quickly learned that this was a lot easier said than done it took a little while but this is the complete Village so now we’ve got most of the village buildings pasted into this area and I Quickly realized that the area that I cleared out is not nearly big enough or organic enough for a naturally generated Village however it does look really cool with all of these buildings put together so I think the last thing to do is to actually spawn in some villagers and see If we can make this look legit so these are the the leopard print uh villagers here he should yep he’s taken on his role so if I just walk around to each of the buildings that we’ve already seen and I just place a villager nearby they Should then take on the role of said one so if I Pace loads of these guys around the center they should all go off in different directions to pick up a job which seems to be working um although all of them seem to be trying to get in this one bed yep Literally all of them oh the villagers can be so stupid right let’s get out of bed I’ve set the time to noon so maybe they’ll actually go to work instead of trying to go to bed in the middle of the day it looks like the villagers are pretty much behaving as Intended they’re going to work they’re doing their thing it all seems to work perfectly So in theory you could clear out a large area of Jungle which will take you absolutely ages you can then build all of these buildings which you will need a lot of wheat for and then Decorate it with all of the campfires and lanterns and everything else that you would need add the bell for the town center and you can make a completely functioning Village in the jungle and the best part of this is that I think that this looks pretty much as Mojang Might have made this if they were to make a jungle Village so the final thing to say is thank you very much for watching and you need to let me know what you think of this Village do you think this looks pretty accurate do you think this fits in the village would you Love to see a genuine jungle Village in and future update and would you like to see more theoretical villages in future videos please let me know in the comments down below thank you very much for watching and good bye Video Information
