How to Build a Compact Mansion for Survival in Minecraft
In the world of Minecraft, building houses is an essential part of survival. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, having a cozy and functional home is crucial. Today, we’ll be exploring how to build a compact mansion using tuff and diorite, perfect for surviving in the wild.
Getting Started
Before we dive into the building process, let’s gather the necessary materials. For this project, you’ll need Java Editions (PC) 1.20.1 of Minecraft, BSL Shader ver 8.2.04 for shaderpacks, and Prime’s HD Textures for the resource pack. These will enhance your gaming experience and make your mansion even more visually appealing.
Building the Exterior
To start, stack 8 tuff blocks to create a pillar in the light blue area. Make sure to stack them only in this specific area. On the left side, stack 9 blocks instead. This will serve as the foundation for your mansion. Next, change the base of the window to tuff, giving it a unique touch.
Now, let’s move on to the white wool section. Stack them in 8 equal layers, and then stack nine more blocks on top. This will create a pillar-like structure. To complete the exterior, build a glass wall using gray glass panes. If you find it challenging to place the panes, you can use glass blocks instead.
Adding the Details
With the exterior complete, it’s time to focus on the details. Start by making the ceiling using tuff blocks. For a more stylish touch, use andesite slabs for the front part of the ceiling. Additionally, build a thin ceiling in the front using iron attic blocks. Lay a white carpet on the floor and cover the remaining area with diorite slabs.
To finish off the glass wall, plant some dripleaves and bamboo in the back area. This will add a touch of nature to your mansion. Next, create a veranda floor using diorite slabs and add a railing using gray glass. To make the entrance more inviting, plant some flowering azaleas and bamboo in front of it.
Designing the Interior
Now that the exterior is complete, let’s move inside. Change the floor to spruce planks for a warm and cozy feel. Build a second floor using spruce slabs and add a staircase for easy access. Hang a chain and lantern from the ceiling to brighten up the space.
On the first floor, create a long table using oak stairs and decorate it with various items. Utilize the space under the floor to set up furnaces, a crafting table, and a smithing table. Place barrels in the floor for storage and decorate the area with paintings and anvils.
To add some flair to the floor, create an LED carpet. This will give your mansion a modern touch. Moving on to the second floor, build a railing using spruce hanging signs and place armor stands. Create a bed and a big pot using ceramics and azalea leaves. Add lanterns for a cozy atmosphere.
Lastly, spruce up any empty spaces with azaleas and azalea leaves. This will add a touch of greenery and complete the overall look of your compact mansion.
Final Thoughts
And there you have it! Your compact mansion is complete. This small and cute house is perfect for solo survival gameplay. It provides just enough space for one person to live comfortably. Remember, in the world of Minecraft, the possibilities are endless. Feel free to customize and expand upon this design to make it your own.
So, grab your tools and start building your dream home in Minecraft. Happy crafting!
