Perhaps your pc isn’t the newest maybe you’re playing on a laptop whatever the reasons sometimes you just need a lighter mod pack recently i did a video recommending some mod packs and a repeated request was for some recommendations of a lighter mod pack so here we are i won’t be repeating Any of the mop packs from that video here although there were four that could easily fit into this video as well breakout ultimate alchemy life in the village and peace of mind watch the link video for more on those i tested all these mod packs using four Gigabytes of ram as the maximum and all worked remarkably well all of these mock packs are for version 1.12 and like the last video i split up the recommendations into categories so let’s get to the list chicken kitchen sink packs contain a little bit of everything all the mod 3 lite is a Light version of all the mods 3 which as the name suggests is a pack which focuses on packing a wide variety of mods in a pack it features a lot of the common tech and magic mods and would be good for people who prefer a sandbox experience over a quest driven one Will also be good for relative newcomers because well it’s a small pack and it won’t be as overwhelming you can see only eight pages of creative tabs and 88 pages of jei a sky block pack is a pack where traditionally the player starts on an island in a void world and gathers Resources using different means than the usual vanilla or modded way skyblock packs are a very good choice for older or less beefy computers as there is a lot less to load as there’s no land so make sure to have a look for others if you don’t like the one i’m about to recommend Not the bees is a pack wherein you gather resources via bees there is no extra high lows so you’ll have to learn your way around the hive this is a good mod pack if you’ve always wanted to learn how to be but never got around to It it’s not a very long mod pack so bear that in mind and if you prefer there is also a non-skyblock version of the pack using the excellent hex lens mod quest based packs are packs where progression is outlined in quests whereby on completion you usually receive a reward you might prefer this Type of pack if you like the focus of having clearly defined goals to aim for if you’ve ever wanted to build a huge factory then automaton is the pack for you the focus is on building large multi-block factories using immersive engineering and mechanism the quest book Will guide you through the use of the mods which means it would work well from newcomers to the modded world and look at that lovely stuff the pack also makes use of popular building modes so you can beautify your factories should you choose if you prefer an adventure to Building factories then i would take a look at roguelike adventures dungeons there is very little tech in roguelike adventures dungeons but there are plenty of dimensions to explore and conquer and it also has a unique reward system where you can do tasks get coin and then use That to upgrade your equipment or buy spells it’s a very cool uh looking mod pack if you want to explore and battle monsters the pack also uses the biome bundle which i think is a rather lovely biomod an expert pack is a pack designed for veteran modded players it usually Features modified recipes and a brutally expensive end game if you want a challenge then greg block could be for you it is a very small skyblock based around greg tech it only requires about two gigabytes of ram to run so it’s an amazingly light pack this is an expert pack though so it’s Not for the faint-hearted it’s designed to be a very long-term pack if you don’t know anything about greg tech well generally it is hard it requires a lot of resources and a lot of automation to get things going and the quest book i think is very well laid out and It should offer plenty of things to keep you busy and that is there the end game vanilla plus is a type of pack that seeks to enhance the vanilla experience it usually features minimal tech and or magic alongside mods like quark chisel and harvest craft that aim to complement The vanilla game nature’s beauty is a pack that takes its cue from life in the woods it features the best building mod along with some great nature mods so there’s more food to farm and animals to care for what’s this oh is that a magpie i think that’s a magpie Yeah it’s a magpie and it’s stolen something uh amazing um it it also comes with the custom biomod uh which is again the buying bundle which i’m very fond of if what you love about vanilla is the relaxing building and making your own homestead then do yourself a favor and Have a look at this pack it also features a custom mod made especially for this pack in potion fingers allowing you to take beacon effects with you and it is also a kitchen sink pack with no quest so just bear that in mind if you really enjoyed The start of seth tech but weren’t fond of the rest then take a look at bounds it’s a lightweight pack that focuses on the early game grind for survival it is quest based as you can see here and it primitive tech and weapons are the name of the game along with some Tougher mobs uh than usual so if you sort of like you know really the survival aspect of vanilla then this could well be the thing for you so if some of these packs still aren’t working for you then i’d suggest dropping down a version or two and taking a look at some 1.10.2 or 1.7.10 packs like project ozone light or agrarian skies too as modded minecraft has grown so have the ram requirements the older packs are much better in this regard and there’s also a small light mod pack section on the curse forge website for you to peruse at your own leisure if nothing Here what’s your appetite so there we go hopefully you find the right light mod pack that best suits you let me know which one you ended up choosing alternatively let me know which mod pack i left off the list i’ve been active this has been recommended like Mod packs and i will hopefully see you in the next one bye [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] foreign Video Information
