04AM – How To Get MODS For Minecraft Dungeons (Windows 7/8/10 Launcher Edition)

Hey what’s up guys this is 4yam again back with a new minecraft dungeons tutorial and oh boy am i excited about this one guys if you haven’t already realized you’re gonna do that in three two one yes look at my textures right now these are not the regular minecraft dungeons textures

This is actually the goku craft light texture pack from the regular minecraft and actually very popular texture pack that was boarded from the game to minecraft dungeons as a mod so guys you have guessed it today i will show you guys how to install mods for minecraft dungeons

With money there are literally no limitations to your minecraft game every time somebody events a new mod creates something new then it will be added to the game for example this right here is a little arena mod we’re gonna have to fight against every single boss in the game and not

Just once but there are three spawns so we’re gonna have to fight against three of focus first but afterwards you’re gonna have to fight against three times the skeleton balls or the arc illager so this can become super chaotic but it’s a hell of a challenge guys i assure you that

Then of course we have the texture packs and first off i showed you guys the goku craft light but right now i’m gonna show you something else as well so this is the regular texture pack of minecraft dungeons but then we also have the faithful texture pack and this one might be even

More popular because it also came from the regular minecraft guys i will show you how to install this one but there are also more things that you can do for example when i equip my baby chicken right here look at that i’m actually getting a slime so i

Got my hands on a slime pet mod and this bad boy follows me everywhere which is really really nice guys what are we waiting for let’s install those mods before we get started you have to know that this is currently only possible to do on the pc version of minecraft it will

Work for both the regular version and also the microsoft store or windows 10 version so what you’re gonna do first is search for your minecraft dungeons launcher mine is actually attached to my regular minecraft launcher so if i go to that one i can select minecraft dungeons right here and open the launcher

Of course after installing minecraft dungeons this one can probably be found on your desktop as well as a shortcut but what you’re gonna do right here is go to the bottom left and you’re gonna select settings of course guys currently we have this repair button which doesn’t allow us to play minecraft

Dungeons but don’t worry about that there is a workaround because right now if we click this repair we will actually destroy all the mods that we have installed so that is definitely not something that you want to do definitely be careful with that one so you’re going to go to settings and

Then you’re going to search for your minecraft dungeons installation folder this is uh right here users and then your name app data local mojang products sometimes it will be elsewhere but just go to that folder okay so i am currently on my app data local folder and i’m gonna select mojang right here

Go to products dungeons click dungeons once again and here we will find everything we’re gonna need first off very important you’re gonna right click your regular dungeons right here and then you’re gonna go to send to desktop create a shortcut so now that you have created this little

Shortcut guys you will be able to launch minecraft dungeons straight away you don’t have to use the launcher which also prevents you from removing the mods with that repair button now you’re gonna click on the dungeons folder go to content then packs and this is actually the place where we will be able

To install our mods you’re gonna create a folder right here and this one has to be called exactly like this so you’re gonna use these uh things and look at that right now we have our own mods folder i already have my docu craft dungeons texture pack installed right

Here as well as the baby slime but right now guys we’re gonna add some extra mods to this folder right now we’re gonna add two different mods the first one is going to be a texture pack just like i said i think the faithful dungeons texture pack is gonna be

Really awesome you’ll be able to find it on planetmycraft.com i will also add the link in the description but what you’re going to do right here is just click on the download here button then it will say you’re going to a third-party website just press continue and afterwards download next up you’re

Going to go to nexusmods.com minecraft dungeons and this is actually a place where you will be able to get your hands on all the different mods that are currently released for the game or well most of them so we’re just gonna scroll down a little bit and check out

Something that we would like to see for example the strider pad it is actually really nice i will add a direct link to this one um in the description as well so you don’t have to scroll there all the way and wow this one is actually looking pretty funky strider steve maybe we

Should go for him straight away because damn so this guy looks pretty badass so we’re gonna go to files and we’re gonna go to strider steve pat manuel download and we’re gonna press slow download also be noted that you actually have to get your hands on an account right here if you don’t

Have an account you won’t be able to download it okay so right now i have my downloads folder and then also my mods folder and what we’re going to do right now is delete all the content in my mods folder because yeah i just want to show you guys how this

Exactly works we’re gonna just drag and drop the faithful pack inside our mods folder so this is pretty much everything you have to do and for this straighter steep pad i’m just gonna have to extract this one right here and this will also make a little pac file

Always make sure these are pack files if you have a zip folder or a rar file this is definitely not going to work so guys right now we are pretty much set and we can launch minecraft dungeons alright so i’m currently booting up the game and let’s see look at that this

Is strider steve guys but right now you can tell that we have successfully installed both mods because straighter steve is right there and then we also have this funky uh font of the faithful texture pack so if we go to the camp guys you will be

Able to see that both mods are working just fine look at that that is strider steve joining us and um we also have the faithful texture pack uh looks right here they are looking just like the regular minecraft dungeons but just a little bit more minimal in my opinion they look really

Cute if you like a minimal style of this game then you should definitely get your hands on them only one downside though for this mod in my opinion is that your text is looking a little bit funky sometimes look at my level right there as well as the description of my items

But in overall in my opinion this is a super awesome mod to get your hands on if you like things basic then yeah strider steve i actually want to make some videos with him because he looks super awesome alright so guys that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to

Get your hands on those mods and of course also install them in the correct way make sure you don’t click that repair button because they will all go away if you like this video definitely make sure you hit that like button and of course if you are new to the channel
