Minecrafts most popular maps have never looked this good with the recent ray tracing beta that released on the Windows 10 version of Minecraft we can now see our worlds in a whole new light and well I could just show off the special Nvidia commissioned maps that they have for this demo that Wasn’t all that interesting to me and plus I figured that since this is going to be the future of Minecraft why don’t we commit all the way and that’s why I decided to convert ten of the Java versions most famous maps and see how they look with that realistic Lighting engine and hey YouTube let me know that only windows 10 of you watching or subscribed so if you want to upgrade that number then illuminate the subscribe button down below it ups out a lot plus it’s free alright let me just say this map still holds up from when it Was first released and clearly it was a looker back then too because it won the planet minecraft Island Resort contest almost eight years ago but we need to switch on the RT X features it’s hard to believe that this map was made in 2012 it just looks that good from the Beautiful bloom lighting down to the shoreline so even the reflection that makes up the different attractions it’s pretty easy to get lost staring at my new details on the map although for a real side-by-side comparison nothing compares to the roller-coaster ride around the park the difference here is night and day And while the differences between bedrock and Java do tend to break some of the redstone mechanics that are going on here it’s easy to overlook that when the visuals are just this good also worth noting is just how much ambience this adds to certain locations like the VIP club it all comes together to make a Minecraft vacation I get stuck in for hours and I probably will after this when you first see this build with ray-tracing it’s kind of crazy to see how far we’ve come since 1.8 much like the island we just talked about there’s Plenty of auxiliary attractions to see here like a waterslide beautifully designed trees and even a neighbor and pyramid although as the name suggests the main attraction here might just have to be the hillside Manor starting off who knew something as simple as a glass block could look so pretty but with the different Reflections that render dragon adds in there’s so much more detail that you can see on display here than just a simple transparent block and let me tell you the inside holds up just as well with plenty of warm lighting to make the house feel like well my home so maybe It’s just the way that I converted the world but my version also had villagers camping out on the windowsill which I still can’t tell if that’s a good thing or a bad thing maybe it’s a feature and well it could sound like I’m over hyping this map nothing quite compares to Taking that water slide around the park and watching the sunset it’s a thing of beauty folks while they are great the last you are pretty grown in reality so what is r-tx mean for intergalactic builds now if you’re a minecraft veteran that’s been around the block you might Remember this Star Wars themed map from hypixel yeah that’s right that hypixel and before the server hit 100,000 concurrent players and hightail was announced that name used to be synonymous with some really compelling adventure maps and this one’s no exception well unfortunately the translation to bedrock does happen to Break some of the actual mechanics working in the map the strength of the builds makes up for the map not running anymore I mean just take a look at how the at-at walkers look during night time and that’s worth a download alone and while you’re looking at the Walker you Actually get to see something that we’re not gonna find in any of the other builds which is when you see the fires on this damaged one you truly get to experience some of the drama that just doesn’t get showcased when you’re playing it in vanilla don’t get me wrong It’s a fun map but somehow seeing it with a lot more realism has a lot more gravity this situation so whether or not you’re pleased without disney’s treating the franchise these days I think we can all agree that seeing this map is a pretty solid experience and one you Gotta check out or if space conflict isn’t your style then this one actually lets you join a fight right down here on earth that is the fight for information while I already covered the in censored library in a past video a brief overview of the project is that the reporters Without borders and block works collaborated to make a Minecraft map that’s filled to the brim with different banned texts from oppressed countries let me just say that alone is already awesome but witnessing the architecture with this new lighting takes the whole thing to a different level I mean you can tell as much from the time that you walk up the stairs and see the sunbeams hit that statue it’s a thing of art and for me personally I already knew that this map looked great with normal shaders on Java but here I Think the new level of realism brings a whole different reverence to what block works is created off the bat this engine makes any natural biome look good just boot up a single-player world and you’ll see as much it’s that obvious but with the 50 custom biomes that are Showcased in this map it’s on a whole other level these Skyrim inspired islands are already so much fun to explore in the base game but when you turn on the extra details then you really get to feel like any question having here is that much more adventurous and out of all the maps That I’ve covered and will cover in this video this is gonna be the one that I recommend the most for survival I mean who among us wouldn’t want to build a base next two gigantic God trees and mountains that even stretch up to build limit no no I want to hang out with That’s for sure and what I will say is that especially when multiplayer gets released and easier to do probably one the full versions out for this update then I can’t recommend enough doing an SP with this that way you can snowboard down the frozen biome with your friends and That’s kind of what it’s all about clearly we’ve seen plenty of examples where the engine can make natural things look beauty I’m gonna make sense organic lighting makes organic builds look better but that’s not to say that it doesn’t also pretty up cities in Greenfield shows as much as the Self-proclaimed largest city in Minecraft there is already plenty here to do and you can see as much if you want from the overhead views but all that will fade away as soon as you walk down the streets of the town at night and honestly that’s my favorite part of The map it’s just cruising through the block city city blocks and seeing all of the different lights and shadows casted by the different buildings and folks I’d be remiss not to say that I’m only showing off a fraction of what this thing has to offer there’s let me tell you the limited Render distance of this r-tx does not do justice to the scope of the build but when you do want to focus in on the little parts of town and get some of that slice of life this is the best way to do it hands down this is one of the Most downloaded minecraft maps in history and for good reason it’s a great concept with an even better execution you see the way that this worked in the past is that you would walk up to this so-called well of destiny and you drop an offering when you did the doors would Open up and then you would go to the no joke all holy knotch and he would judge you based off that so sometimes you luck out and you’d get plenty of riches and others would be a one-way trip to hell for 2011 it was a super cool concept and the fact that it Still works today says something about discos redstone prowess that is only if you play it in the job edition though because in the conversion to bedrock the inner mechanism stopped working for me frankly folks it’s not a clean process to transition your world from one version To the other so I can see where it would go wrong but it is unfortunate that stopped working entirely I mean look even not just sad about it but what we do have here is a pretty solid bust of markus persson which has never looked better than in RTX they had more importantly now you can finally give him that reflective gold grille that you’ve always dreamed of that’s the one in my book if you’ve been through the youtube circuit you’ve probably seen this map once or twice made famous by the likes of skydoesminecraft and team crafted back In the day this map is a classic through and through and honestly I was surprised to see it’s still getting updated to this day good Impala crash for that dedication and while I’m sure you can guess that the mechanics of it don’t work so well in Windows 10 a good build Is a good build in any version of Minecraft and this is no exception for that sure the redone lighting does make certain parts of the building very dark and in some cases it’s just pitch black but in my opinion that just makes the cells look so much better the overhead Glowstone lighting gives the room kind of a noir style intensity all it needs now is to be put in black and white tech on just how pretty the outside world looks with art CX and folks this gives all the details you need for that perfect prison escape story all you got To do now is just hop in that helicopter and make your way across the ocean blue now when you search this on planet minecraft it’s labeled as a quote complex map and that under sells it let me tell you featuring perfectly sculpted buildings in a canal system that just Screams Venice Italy and this whole Imperial City is an architectural giant that goes unmatched so when you take all of that building prowess and the technical skills to boot then it goes without saying that this whole map is gonna look beautiful with artsy acts on for that matter I don’t even have much To add here the image speaks for itself if I do say anything on this though it’s a you gotta play this map with rainy weather there’s no debate here if you got the graphics card for it then seeing those raindrops fall with this crazy graphical fidelity is one of the Prettiest things I’ve done in the game and all I can recommend it’s just for you to try yourself by multiple different accounts this is the most popular map in Minecraft history and it fully deserves that title The Dropper buy bakery has some of the best fan made gameplay minecraft has to offer And it’s such a novel concept that you just have to play it for yourself if you want to see what’s so special about it well I will say that the mind-bending drops on display here do look a lot nicer with artsy acts that feature forces your render distance down a Substantial amount making some of these bits a lot tougher than they used to be in the original but even if you just hop into creative mode and fly through that can be worth it in its own doing that’s a nice thing in its own right because there’s so much work put into these Builds that goes unnoticed I mean it’s tough to stop and smell the roses when you’re barreling down at Mach 1 so if this feature allows us to see just how much love and care was put into the map I think that’s a plus in its own right For sure and with that folks if you want to learn more about the uncensored library then torch this one in the top left or make this one glow in the top right for another video if you want to support the channel subscribing is free And it means a ton to me so shine a light on
