Minecraft Bedrock Edition players dealing with crashes, connection problems and weird UI behavior now have an official fix. Mojang dropped the full 26.31 hotfix changelog today spelling out exactly what changed.
Key Fixes Rolling Out
- Fixed bug where players could not join Experiences if Screen Animations setting was turned off causing infinite loading
- Resolved ID collision for split screen guests on Nintendo Switch
- Projectiles now properly launch from upward facing dispensers (MCPE-239709)
- Improved server connectivity speeds (MCPE-239705)
- Multiple gameplay crash fixes including main menu crash on Switch (MCPE-238647)
The hotfix is deploying platform by platform. If you have not received it yet check for updates on your device. The changes directly tackle issues that started appearing after the 26.31 rollout last week.
