All The Mods 9 Ep. 14 Bossing With Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks!

Hello everyone welcome back to all the mods nine so it has been a few days since I last played and that’s all I need perfect yeah it’s been a couple of days so you know what that means tons of different updates have happened

Um first of all oh also I did a few bits between episodes so the first thing that I did was I now have the backed pack I believe so that gives me night vision like all the time so I found one of these uh what

I am going to do I’ve bound it to a different key so I can take that off there’s the backpack we’re not going to use the backpack we’re going to use the Blaze travel pack I just went to tap how to get some more blaze rods

To put that on and then we can open this up it doesn’t have an activate button maybe maybe you have to have it on to activate it aha there we go this is awesome because of this how cool is that we don’t take full damage anymore

It does look like we’ve got the particle effects though when we’re in the air like that which is kind of annoying but I mean it’s still good it’s still really good that we’ve got no full damage so I can’t remember who exactly said that the The Blaze backpack has uh full damage

Immunity I must have just missed that when I was looking at all the backpacks in that that first like little episode I did on backpacks but immune to fall damage and small Fireballs sent by Blazers so that would be really useful if we’re farming some blaze rods right

Very happy that that’s that’s a thing because I I keep hurting myself um another thing is I I was just I was waiting for my my jet pack to do a little bit of charging and I was flying around and then you can see already there’s some some experience over here

I got attacked by one of the creepers from creeper overhaul and I realized I can use my spell book to oh if if I can hit him I’m back to kill things in here underwater which is funny because I’m using fire spells but anyway um oh we don’t have to be like gentle

With how I land now useful so let’s uh let me get situated and then I will go over all the changes that have been made but I’m going to do it really briefly so give me a sec okay to begin with we’ve got let me despawn not sure

What that one does but sounds good twigs login protection fast Leaf Decay instead of um whatever the fast Leaf Decay mod we had was before we’ve got fast Leaf Decay now next up we’ve got power so power’s been added which is really useful because we’re struggling we’re absolutely struggling right now for

Power I think at least I’m not used to having this little power I must admit uh we’ve got all of the integrated Dynamics as you can see right here I’ve already made a squeezer and why is there a zombie out there it’s my my thingy still up there my mega torch

Nope it’s gone brilliant it’s good to know that means that that’s been removed but that’s fine I can put a proper Mega torch up there so anyway all of the integrated Dynamics mods have been added so that’s Dynamics tunnels terminals crafting you know all of those things

And simple lights has been added and I love simple lights because they give you the nice little strip lights that you can use in in places and finally platforms has been added I don’t actually know what platforms does I think it might be one of those mods

That’s like a library for another set of mods uh Ender tanks and the storage they’ve been added as well I don’t know if that’s the the the one that atm8 uses and uh it is yeah so it’s this this different type of like ender chest and Ender tank

Instead of the old version where you you could have like an auto output which is fine uh the evil craft has been added I love evil craft I’m actually going to do some of this relatively soon because you can get yourself fortune five and it it doesn’t take too much of an

Effort to get Fortune 5. so we gotta do that and then finally a bit of a bummer for me because I literally just made a bunch more 1ks for my uh yeah my applied and Logistics system refined stories got added so yeah what do we do I’m gonna leave it on applied energistics

For this episode and next episode and what I’ll be doing is when this episode comes out I’m gonna put a little poll up on YouTube saying should I stay with applied energistics or should I move over to refined storage in my opinion I will use applied energistics when I’m

In a server setting because it’s actually at least it used to be I’m not sure if they’ve done any changes for refined storage it doesn’t look like it’s refined storage 2.0 so I’m not sure what’s going on there if they just update refined storage and then yeah but anyway

It used to be the refined storage add a little bit of an issue on servers uh especially if everyone’s got like tons of refined storage things happening and it uses like lots and lots of like ticks so it if you use refined storage it kind

Of breaks it not breaks it it kind of like uh hurts the experience that others might be uh might be having if you know what I mean and so I would usually well now at least now I would usually use Applied Energy sticks on servers this is single player

That I’m playing right now and refined storage is technically easier in my opinion and it’s easier to follow in videos so I may I may swap to the refined storage but again I’m going to leave it up to you guys if we continue on with the uh applied energistics

Or we go to refined storage in my all the mods eight let’s play that I did in single player uh the same situation happened where there was no refined storage at the start of the pack and then it got added later and what I did was I I completely

Converted all of the AE that I had into refined storage and I did it off camera and I did it really cheekily and I didn’t mention it whatsoever so um I’m quite happy to do that again again well if you guys think that’s okay so as

I said there’ll be a poll also on the channel I’m gonna try and release it at the exact same time as this video so maybe you guys will see that already but yeah let’s get on with the video I think today I think the plan I’ve got oh yeah I took

This out because I needed the the glass for something the plan that I have is I want to go and go to wherever this Wayward Compass thing is telling us to go and we’re gonna see if we can find anything over there that’s probably a good idea in it before

I do I’m gonna make a mega torch and just stick it somewhere make a torch it looks like that mod got got removed the the mod that had like its own Mega torches and stuff like specific ones so now we’re just using the torch Mastery one which is fine

I’m I’m okay with that this has got infini or Infinity infinite on it this um this bow so I don’t need arrays with me which I didn’t realize is there anything over here I just saw yellow dots oh maybe that’s the experience that it’s like

I don’t have to be careful with where I land anymore I can just land love it right anyway let’s go over to whatever this Compass tells us to go well I’m glad that I cut that because that was a bit awkward I um uh yeah I I just flew straight here and

None of this was loading for me when I was doing it so I just flew straight here and I don’t want to waste the the jet pack if you know what I mean the power on the jet pack as it were well these magic logs oh they look nice bit of blue

What’s this taking us to I actually don’t really understand where I’m going with this oh it says it’s around here so let’s let’s do like a diggy down um by the way I do I do know that last episode we had a roguelike and I was gonna do a roguelike

Uh but I think this is this is probably more relevant right now please don’t say that just takes us okay where the heck am I supposed to go then this direction at all dimensional or oh it is okay I’m not sure what this is telling me to do if I’m honest

Uh trap Soul points towards his home okay so if I’m here it’s telling me to go this way so to this spot if I’m here it’s also telling me to go to the spot and if I’m here it’s telling me to go to this spot and then when I’m in this spot

It’s just telling me to go this way or maybe maybe there is a little area interesting maybe I’ll just dig around this entire area then let’s do a large tunnel I’ll just do this oh hello silverfish it’s really nice not having full damage I must admit oh

Hey there we go that looks like something okay where let’s go shapeless foreign this looks like what we’re looking for right oh my goodness no no okay I need to clear this out I suppose it says spawners dragon is that oh yeah there’s a spawner right there iron spell books oh okay now

I’m trapped I don’t have my Spellbook on me either okay I managed to get out that was a lot of zombies um oh and I got a load of crap uh what do I do here probably just bend these off I forgot to bring a waste stone with me

Oh that’s really nice I I got myself uh an essence of undeath you can actually get one of these just by um like setting stuff up can’t remember which button I put it on I did put on this one nice if you go into compendium is it compendium oh okay

Configuration that’s the badger and then you set up your grave so I will go for a normal grave there we go and let’s put it as light and then hit save I believe in this reward thing you get you get in essence of undeath we should definitely use that at some

Point I’m not going to use it quite yet um I did do a slash home so I’m going to do a slash back I will try my hardest not to use that it’s just I I couldn’t be bothered to fly all the way back to my house just to

Pick this up and then fly all the way back done be great I’m gonna try and keep this rotten Spa work on me whoa there’s an ally or Ali or whatever you call it that’s pretty decent oh is that because we’re in a Magic Forest that’s pretty cool

Right anyway whereabouts are we I think we’re here and I am just going to start looting everything in here Thank you Foreign Comes in comes in clutch like you’re on fire except that one apparently that’s what is this one Necromancer oh that sounds like something we should definitely explore I really like these spells it’s really fun does this set me on fire doesn’t actually really useful do this as well

Yeah it gets um gets um no go away oh my God I’m so bad at aiming with this though oh my goodness oh I used all my Mana I just want to kill this one please my God you’re tanky got backpack on he does um okay maybe we just speed run through

Here and then uh try and find that base where is it that area with the boss oh blood vials and I’ll take a skeleton skull can’t see a thing I feel like these are supposed to be like you know um loot rooms but the loot is actually pretty pretty crappy

Oh I think I found it this looks like the big room out yeah if we fly up here I’m gonna land right here that it that looks like the skeleton boss dude right do we try and attack him yeah why not I want to see if I can get

This all the way over there actually quite a bad spell actually this is a low level now that is a horde right there and this is perfect for the magma bomb look at that uh that is a lot oh interesting let’s try and grab all the crap that’s

Landed over here without getting hit wow okay this should be quite a lot of experience as well which I’m I’m 100 down for I should have my pickaxe out for this armor stands that’s so cool wait should we wake him up there we go woking him up running away now

Okay that did absolutely subtle oh the dead King out that was a not a nice uh that was uh weather thingy right probably you shouldn’t do this with a jet pack but still oh you know what I should do Oh I’m so close oh and he’s dead I think there it is he’s dead oh oh okay he’s got second form classic oh and he can fly now that’s that’s not a good sign foreign I died classic right I’m in the end so I can look at yeah oh it does not works I mean ghostly form how do I do this then I know I run over here and then he can’t get to me this is really cheaty but safe spotted

Uh I just killed like four Enderman and did not get a single ender pearl out of it and they killed me again I’ve got two now that’s fine I can go back here go to the end Double death episode flipping act which one is it is it this one or this one

All right okay cool get my revenge oh actually he’s gonna get his revenge again give me an ender pearl for God’s sake that’s five Enderman hey go on ender pearl flipping out that took ages right let’s go back home what I can do now is I can just combine

This key with an ender pearl and it should take me all the way back to my grave and I Chuck everything away grab some food before we go uh what kind of foods have we got oh okay that’s not in the pack yet fine take some honey bottles with us what can

We do with honey I know this is me procrastinating at this point but yeah what can we do with honey kiwi sorbet oh that’s actually really good we could definitely do with making those there’s a b exchanger interesting um thank you Mr Cool okay nothing really let’s just grab like

I don’t know a few of these just to get our health all the way back up chop these away hold this down it’ll do a little teleport for us yeah oh flip an egg I probably need better armor than this and also it turned my backpack off which is super annoying

Uh what key is it I think it’s this key oh no it didn’t even put my backpack on so my backpack’s down there somewhere there it is has he gone back to sleep or is he still here I don’t see him on okay cool ability is on so now I don’t

Take full damage cool where’s he gone then is he just is he gone Foreign foreign Foreign Did he die oh as she said waiting for Server then okay he did die I’ve got a loads of crap in my uh inventory okay let me uh oh that’d be the day oh my goodness give me all the stuff before we leave Did you shut off I hate bexes so much ow wait sod off so much damage all right okay what do we get from that we’ll have a look in a sec I just want to mine this block because this is my now out and we’re out

Uh where do we come in not this way oh no sort of yeah there we go and we’re out there’s probably more stuff for us to find in there I must admit but at least we got home oh that was brutal what do we get so oh we got the blood staff

Unique spell book five spells interesting is there anything in it oh there is and then we can swap okay I need to read up on what all of these do in fact can I put it in the table and we can have a look Okay so we’ve got Wither skull

Doesn’t really tell you much about it right now these are all locked as well so we can’t take these out and put them in our like this spell book Ray of siphoning interesting this has got a block range as well bloodstep instant cast okay blood slash that’s the

One that he kept throwing at me right and then Blaze storm oh okay let’s have a go at all of these uh have a quick sleep all right here we go that’s how I got one of these so this one is I can’t remember but I know this one foreign

Does it do um block damage I didn’t think about that okay all of this is uh claimed let’s go over here oh it doesn’t seem to and we got the the blood siphon let’s go find a willing participant oh it’s got a cool down okay what about this one oh

Oh okay that’s just a a blink oh that’s kind of cool can I go through walls that’ll be interesting so we can get into our base ow no you can’t you take damage instead fair enough and we got the blood slash and then what does this one do oh it’s like a blaze

So we can do like oh it’s still on on cooldown no oh I missed okay all of these have got does that does that give me Health back as well oh that’s interesting we also got some other stuff so before I forget Let’s uh let’s go and have a look

At the other stuff that we got so well we got the emerald block of emerald I don’t know if I found this in in one of the the crates or not I think we might have got that from him but that’s an epic spell wait Fang strike not firefang Fang

Strike that’s also Epic and we got a magma bomb legendary yes that can’t actually go in our spell book unfortunately uh leg end so we are going to need an ancient codex or a dragon skin spell book which means we need one of these ruined books first

Right how do we get a ruin book that is a question yeah because we need that one as well we actually have the blood vials we don’t have a bottle of lightning use an empty bottle on a charge creeper to obtain interesting it’s difficult uh okay

We’ll have to try and figure out how to make one of those but we did get some legendary ink and some epic ink and that can make us like epic spells by the looks of it which is really good uh we went through how to make spells

Last episode but we’ve got legendary ink I think what I’ll make is um you know this one because we already have the legendary where is it the legendary magma bomb which by the way is awesome that was so useful during that fight but I might make this one

You know the low-cost attack spell that we’ve got right here might make this into a legendary one and then we can have another epic somewhere I just watched an entire thing done by I think it’s Russian correct me if I’m wrong if that’s Russian or not but there’s a a video on

Iron spells and spell books that’s in Russian I don’t speak Russian but I try to gleam a little bit from it and uh then I found on the curse 4 page that the ruined Spellbook a skulk infested book that can be found in ancient cities used to craft powerful spellbooks okay

We need to find an ancient city next cool I’m glad we got this so that was kind of fun I I kind of enjoyed that I was mental as well uh the last thing that I will say for this episode is uh the ancient debris you stick it in

Like this and then if I take my jet pack off for now you get double out of it thank you to uh integrated Dynamics is actually not double if you look at it right here uh you get 75 chance of getting a second one and I got 27 out of the 15.

Is that right 27 uh nether writes crap I did convert a few of them into these so what’s six times four twenty four seven yeah I got 27 out of 15. now the right scrap so pretty good pretty good I missed out on three if it doubled every single time

Uh but that’s not bad we got some leather right now and I’m not entirely sure how we do stuff now because I know that there’s like the upgrade kits that we have to get like these things and we have to find those in the nether

So I need to go do that at some point uh also I’ve changed back to using the uh the gold backpack because this I think is supposed to charge quicker in this thing although saying that it does drain the absolute heck out of this obsidian furnace

To get this one going I will also mention that yeah I can probably go make the seed for this so we can do the infusion crafting and make the seed we will need to go find some Essence to do that I would rather just find more netherite and then make a b because

I’m not a big fan of mystical agriculture I will admit so apologies to everybody that really likes it I find it uh not fun to play that’s just my opinion uh I know a lot of people love the mod so I’m not going to rag on it too much but

Yeah I’m probably not going to use mystical but what I will use is bees because I well if you couldn’t tell I love bees so I need two netherrite blocks basically before I can make the ancient B and ancient B I can just use a bath B upgrade to like duplicate that one

Ancient B yeah that didn’t actually fill up too much right there which is a bit annoying the power out of this doing right I think I need two uh oh in fact let’s just yeah we just need some Arcane clop I made some fire runes because they’re

Actually really easy to make with blaze blaze rods right there so I’ve got a few more blaze rods in my backpack so I can make the final firing that we needed because we found a bunch of blank runes I probably should have done this beforehand before we went and fought the

Boss but ah oh well so I can use these fire runes with the arcane cloth but I don’t know how many Arcane cloth I can make okay is it just I’m out of wool because if that is the case that’s actually really good for us yeah we can make the boots sweet and

Then after that we just need five more and then we can make the Hat awesome did I I put that on right yeah I’m gonna go put mending on it and everything um there’s one thing I wanted to try before we uh before we end the episode which is packing tape

Now I don’t know if this is going to work but I saw someone mention it in uh the ATM Discord actually it might have been on my Discord I’m not sure requires paper to work oh okay let’s go home grab some paper basically what I’m thinking is can we pick those up

A bunch of paper why not and we’ll go back to the blazes because if we can pick one of these up I might NAB The Necromancer spawner that we found oh it doesn’t work oh that’s fine we could do the thing from a play played energistics when we do the this

Facial spatial spatial whatever you want to call it oh and this reminds me we can put this through the salvager that I made so I made a big salvager so we could uh oh by the way salvager right there salvager right now it costs Crimson iron ingots block of iron and a piston

So if you are going to make this try make it now like sooner rather than later otherwise they’ll update the recipe and uh uh make it require like all the modium and and unobtainium and stuff because that’s what they did in the previous in all the mods eight

Because this thing is op op is heck so I’m gonna convert all of my chest plates that I’ve got unless it’s got something good on there like the enchant I’m gonna use a block to get rid of that anyway I’m gonna end the episode here so thank you for watching thanks for joining
