Other tricks of the trade so I’ve been trying to focus on my base for a bit but I just don’t know what to do until I came up here and I realized there’s a whole world to play with up here look at this area we can do something with this

We can make this base look really cool I did add this down here which is a nice little area for vegetation now I did come up here for a reason because I’m going to do a quick little plan now that sounds a bit weird but we’re actually gonna go and take a

Rough now I am terrible at drawing as many of you know so the plan here is to make this space usable now I have one big idea and I’m going to mark it in red so you guys can understand I’ve got this big giant space here and I was thinking

I could create a cylinder that sort of sits in the center floating now this is gonna look awful floating like so so that it’s a massive mob spawner now when it’s complete there’s a hole in the bottom and mobs will fall down and hit the floor right

Here leaving their mob drops but how do I make this giant mob spawner look good maybe it will even be shifted up up here somewhere rather than down there so my idea at the moment is to take this area let’s increase the size here and expand

It expand it round in a big way so it almost goes like all the way round here and connects over there and cover cousin or that and then what I would do from here is create another set of pillars like so all the way around and we could even create like

A little building we’ll connect that up again and we could connect this up to the mob spawner so like it could have let me just change it to a slightly darker color we could change it up so like it’s supported by by these pillars in some way like they’re all connected

Up to the the mob spawner to make it seem like it’s floating could even potentially have a building so another another set of pillars that go around like this and then there’s like a roof that goes all the way so all of that is then covered in roof so it’s like a

Proper structure and it makes its way all the way around and it connects up and supports what I’ve now just erased there’s the mob spawner up here now if you don’t understand what I’ve drawn here I completely understand because it’s a mess but the concept is to have a

Flying mob spawner sort of in the middle of this area perhaps more up here and then have a structure that goes all the way around looks good and supports it with some sort of beam or something but either way this means I need thousands literally thousands of bits of snow and

This project is going to take weeks but once it’s done the mob spawner here will produce lots of drops for us to supply our tea and tea habits because the other mob spawner is now going to be decommissioned all right let’s go back and game hopefully that made sense so

We’re going to decommission that over there which means we got to take a look under a little hood let’s go and have a look shall we so as you can see down there I’ve got little areas where the grass is spread that was this little bit here was so that the grass

Could spread from block to block up to this lay up to that lay out to that layer you can see it’s kind of just the way that works but I can’t put any vegetation in there because I don’t have shears I want to like put custom leaves

And trees and all sorts of things in there but there’s just not quite there yet so I’m kind of preparing for it now this hasn’t been working for a long time if I press f3 okay there doesn’t seem to be any mobs in there so we could go down

And take a look right now but this is this hasn’t changed for a long time since we updated basically and I’ve already run out of gunpowder and stuff so I did say I was never going to unearth this again but it looks like I’ve got two we’re gonna disable that

Mob spawner and decommission it for now the thing is my base is shifted over there and this area is too far away for mobs to spawn effectively and it’s basically not producing enough of anything so that really sucks ok let’s go and take a look under the hood
