Hey everyone how you doing blue here back of our minecraft medieval castle tutorial so guys how are you all doing i hope you guys are all doing well now before we get started i just wanted to say a huge thank you for the unbelievable support in the last episode

You guys it gave me so much amazing feedback so thank you so much guys i really do appreciate it now today we’re going to move on and we’re going to start working on the feast hall and we’re going to go with a similar kind of style like we did with

The foam room i want to keep that kind of same style kind of through most of the castle if we can so i’ve got a bunch of really cool ideas and a couple of other things i just wanted to quickly show you before we get started okay guys we’re gonna dive straight in

Here and before we get started i’m gonna quickly just show you guys how to make the banner i know a lot of you guys are asking how to do the banner design and it’s actually really simple so for this one all you’re gonna need is

A loom free red dye one black dye and a white banner so what we’re gonna do is start with the banner we’re gonna place it inside our loom grab your red dye and place it in here and first of all scroll down to the bottom and you wanna go to this zigzaggy

Shape on each side here grab your banner place it back up here then we’re going to go ahead and get the red dot in the center just like this again we’re going to grab the banner and put it back up here this time we want a red triangle just

Down at the bottom half like this this kind of gives a bit of a silhouette of a person sitting here and behind it the white kind of looks like the shape of a front which i thought worked pretty well for the throne room so we’re gonna grab this one place it in here

This time we’re gonna get the black dye and just to add a little bit of style to this one a little bit of a change we’re gonna put three little black sort of humps at the bottom here just as a little bit of an extra decoration and i think that’s good

Now if we go ahead and place it down you can see there’s the design and it’s a simple design there’s nothing too crazy about it but i don’t know i just felt like it was fit in for the castle it just kind of looked right so that’s the design for the banner there

Guys nice and simple now one other thing i wanted to quickly show you was an idea that i came up with for the phone at the end here and i thought this is actually really good i know a lot of you guys he going on about

A secret room and how we can make it secret some said put it in the floor some said make a hole in the wall now i’m gonna go ahead and cover this hole in the wall up for the moment because i think we can do something better here let’s place a trapdoor here

Here and at the top here close these top two and then the bottom one here we’re gonna actually break that wall and then break the two blocks underneath which i’ve already done as you can see so now what we could do is if we wanted to run into the secret

Room we could have a secret room underneath stand here open this one and then into our gap down into a secret room down here now we could have this go down further you know write down files we want into a little um like a little water pot or something so that we can

Land safely and then go into another room or something we’ll work that out a little bit later but i thought this was a really cool way of kind of getting out into the um out of the throne room in an emergency okay now that we got that all done let’s

Go ahead and start working on the feast hall now the feast tour is going to be here just on the left so let’s go into this room and as you can see this room is pretty huge we’ve got a lot of room here to play with

Now if we take a look we can actually come through into this area at the back here and we do also have have access to the tower inside here so what i think i’m gonna do is i’m gonna just break some of this point away here

So we’re going up from the ground one two three four five let’s just break it six blocks high actually let’s make it a seven there we go just to there for a moment just so we know the space that we’ve got over here to work with okay now we’ve got that all cleared

Let’s go over to this wall here so this is where the tower is in the corner which is going to have a stairway going up to the next floor i think so what we’ll do is from this bit of the wall here let’s break this all the way down like this okay

We’re also going to break this piece out all the way to the ceiling these ones here and then these ones here all the way i think to this one here okay so take it all out we want to make sure we leave this corner here because behind

There is the outside so let’s go ahead and get rid of those okay guys once you’re done you should have a big bit of space like this on the inside here which i think is probably going to be the barracks um i’m not sure where the entrance way

Is gonna be on here where the doorway is gonna be we’ll work that out at some point but for now what we’re gonna do is break the edges here okay go ahead and put some of your spruce planks in here fill this and then all the way around on

The same level here let’s just go ahead and fill in the flooring uh go ahead and use whichever flooring you want i’m gonna stick with the spruce wood because we’ve used it through the rest of the castle so we’re gonna go ahead and just fill this all in on the same level

Covering all of the ground okay okay now that we’ve got all of our flooring in place let’s go ahead and we’re gonna head back through into here now and we’re going to start working on some of the walls so for the walls here first of all over

Where the doorway is here i want to keep with the same pattern that we had on the other side so we’re going to put in a strip spruce wood here and also one here okay this is where we’re gonna have some pillars that come up to the halfway

Point where this beam is gonna be on this side then we’re gonna go from here we’re gonna go one two three four five six seven on the eighth block here we’re gonna go ahead and place a block just there and then diagonally from that one we’re gonna place one here

That way when we bring this pillar up here we’ve got one block space behind it where we can go ahead and get in some of the um the whites bone blocks if we want to now of course guys the white blood blocks ain’t got to be bone blocks

There’s many blocks you can choose but we’ll go over that when we start using them now let’s just bring this down again for the moment from here we’re going to leave a three block gap place one here a three block gap again another three block gap to here and then one more

Three block gap and one to here okay now from this point here i think we’re gonna go to where the windows are we’re gonna place a spruce log here here here here and here leaving a one block gap between all of them okay right that’s looking pretty good

And then i think what we might do is actually just place one right in the center there like that and we can make a nice little cove there between them so first of all let’s go ahead and bring these ones all the way up to the ceiling

Just like this okay and we’re gonna do that for all of these logs that we’ve placed we want to bring them all the way up to the ceiling okay like this and also remember guys you haven’t got to use the stripped spruce wood like i’m using you can use any

Other woods of your choice you could go with the strip dark coke you could go with dark oak wood oak logs just whatever wood you want to do for door interior it’s entirely up to you guys but i’m going to go ahead and get this all in place right now

Okay once you’ve got them all in place we’re gonna actually put one more just over here guys we’ve got these three blocks here we just want to put one here and bring this one all the way up to the ceiling as well so let’s go ahead and do that

Now at this point you have a couple of options you can one go ahead and get your your torches and behind the backs of areas like this where you can’t see you can go ahead put some torches put some torches behind the backs of these

Or when we fill it in you can just go ahead and just fill some empty blocks behind the back some dirt or some blocks of your choice it’s entirely up to you but i’m just going to go ahead and just put torches in there so it just lights

Up the area so mobs don’t spawn and then that way we can just go ahead and just fill in the gaps without blocks rather than having to use unnecessary blocks in these areas now with the stripped logs again i’m gonna come up to here okay which is one

Two three four five it’s on the sixth block up from the ground and we’re just going to connect a pillar all the way down this one side here all the way down like this and we’re going to do the same over this side for these ones as well so let’s bring this over

All the way till we connect with this one then of course right in the middle here let’s go ahead and just connect these up like this leaving a one block a gap do that all the way down and then down this side here we’re going

To do the same again but we’re going to put one in the middle of these ones and the larger one will have two like this so we continue our one block gap and then one on this one as well and of course we’re just going to raise those to the ceiling

Okay once that’s all in place we’re going to go ahead and inside those gaps we’re going to go ahead and fill it up with our bone block or the white block of your choice like i said guys this can be a white wall this could be the white concrete white concrete powder

Any block of your choice and it doesn’t have to be a white block if you’ve got another block that you prefer the look of color wise then go ahead and use that you know it’s all about making the castle design your own one other block that would actually work quite well here

As well guys is the stripped birch log um it’s actually not far off of the bone block so that might also be another option okay once that’s all in place we should have something like this going around the edge of the room here over here for the windows we’re to do

Something a little bit different we’re going to put a spruce stair underneath the windows like this upside down spruce stair at the top make sure you don’t have no torches and then just some spruce planks in the gaps okay just like this and the same down the bottom here just spruce planks

And that just gives it a nice little change between the sort of colors and textures there now over in this corner here i really want to kind of just make kind of um a little empty kind of section for a maybe like a closet so i think what we’ll do is we’ll go

One two three across here okay and then we should better get one right here and we’re going to just bring this one all the way up just to the ceiling for the moment like this and again in that gap let’s go ahead and put a pillar like

This and then our bone block in between just like so Okay and then we’re gonna get our strip spruce wood again and then behind here we’re gonna put a row of it here a row of it here and then let’s just place one there for the minute one here and then we can break that one and underneath here we can place one

Coming down with an upside down stair and we’ll put a doorway in there a little bit later in the gaps we’re going to go ahead with an upside down spruce there like this making sure that it sits into the corner like this and we’re going to do that all

The way around all of these ones as well now before we do it down on this side over here we’re going to go ahead and put some walls behind which is going to be our our bone block but like i say guys any white block of your choice so first of all get

Rid of your torches and where your pillars are make sure you put a torch behind these pillars here okay even up high as well something like that just to make sure because otherwise you’re gonna get mob spawn up there then in the gaps here we just want to

Place a free block wall and we want to bring it up by five blocks to cover in the gaps like this i’m gonna leave this one here open for a doorway but the rest of them which is these three across here we’re gonna just cover them up

And then once you’re done guys go ahead and put an upside down stair at each side like this and also in this gap here now for this gap inside here we’re gonna go ahead and break these blocks across here okay and then i think for the inside here i don’t know what

I’m going to be doing here josh here so we’re going to get our planks let’s bring them over one into that gap like that and then get your spruce slabs place three of them in here like this and then two full blocks over here and then cover that one there up as well

And then we can break that one there and leave it like that this gap over here i think this is gonna get covered up at some point but for the moment i’m just gonna go ahead and bring the planks out to about there can we break that one we can there we go

We’re gonna just make it some spruce planks in there like that and i think that will be all good okay just to make a little bit of shape as you come in here we’re gonna have some walls and stuff on the inside here but we work on that layer because i

Think that’s gonna be where we’re gonna have the kitchens and we’ve got quite a big bit of room here for the kitchens and as you can see it can stretch through into this area here so we’ve got plenty of room for kitchens okay just so that we can quickly lighten

It up in here a little bit we’re gonna go ahead in these gaps and place a lantern like this also gonna put two of them just over here as well over here i did miss my upside down stairs so let’s go ahead and put them in that gap there

And then i think in this very corner here i think what we might do is put our bone block all the way up to the ceiling Just like that for a little bit of detail and if you really wanted to you could also do it with these spruce i’m not sure which one would look better yeah the spruce looks better i would go with the spruce i think okay and then over here lantern there and a lantern there

That gives us a bit more lightness we can also go ahead at the very bottom down here we’re gonna go ahead put in a couple of fences like this and then we’re gonna go ahead and put a torch on top as well just like that okay now let’s go back to our stripped

Spruce logs and over here on the corner where the tower is okay so the doorway entrance is over there we’re gonna come to this corner here from this one here at the side i’m gonna leave a three block gap so one two three place one here

Then we’re going to leave a seven block gap so one two three four five six seven on the eighth block here we’re going to put another pillar take this one all the way to the ceiling and take this one over here all the way to the ceiling as well just like so

Where the beam is across here let’s connect it across here and then all the way over to here This is now going to be a little stage area behind this sort of area in here in the gap here one two three here one here let’s extend that one to the ceiling uh the stone here we’re gonna just get rid of that and i’ll tell you what this

Has come behind here let’s just get rid of these ones here just for the moment we can always change it a little bit later i’m just going to clear it out the way so we’ve got some room to work and then we’re just going to extend the

Rest of these spruce logs all the way up and then of course in the gaps we’re gonna go ahead with our bone blocks in the corner here i think for the moment i’m gonna just put some upside down stairs like this and then again on here and on here

Okay now this is looking pretty good we’ve got a nice big bit of room here the windows we’ve got a nice sort of opening here we need to fix this little corner up over here make this look a little bit more nicer so i think what we’ll do is

Kind of like the way we got this corner so what we’ll do is we’re going to go a log here and a log here leave a free block gap and a log here so let’s go ahead and get rid of those for the moment and take these logs all

The way up to the ceiling Make sure you remove any torches along your way there in the way you want to make sure that you get them all the way up to the ceiling like this same for this one over here just like that then at the back here we’re going to go one layer of bone blocks two

Three four and five and then on the sixth one here we’re going to put a beam coming across like this put a torch against your wall at the back here okay and then put a pillar in the center and then we can go ahead and do something like that

Okay now over in the corner here we’re gonna do something a little bit different so what we’re gonna do is where this pillar here is we’re gonna put one diagonally here another diagonally one over here leave a one block gap and place another one here put a spruce plank in the center and

Then we’re gonna raise these strips bruce logs all the way to the ceiling Then once you’re done go ahead and where this pillar comes across here we just want to put another one going across right in that gap there and at the very top we’re going to just bring down a single row of the bone block like so underneath that gap we’re going to put a

Full block and our upside down stair there so we can have a doorway in there and then where these three blocks here are we’re just going to extend three of our spruce planks and we’re going to extend it all the way over like this until we’re one block from this corner

Pillar here okay then from this corner here we want to put an upside down stair there and then run them all the way down at this side here all the way until we join to the wall over here then on this side here we’re gonna go

Ahead put in a couple of stairs just there okay now this is where the king and queen are going to be eating so what we’re going to do is right on the front here we’re going to just go in one just put a temporary stair there and then

Upside down one just here then we can break that one we’re going to go one two three four five six seven of our slabs and then upside down steer this is the dark oak so make sure you’re using a dark road stair and dark oak

Slabs and as you can see you should have a little table that looks a bit like this now from the corner here right next to the table right so where the stairs here right here we want to go one two three and four being a one block apart

And then behind them you just want to place a dark oak trap door and then jump and place another one and then you can open them so you get two like this okay so one and two open them up one and two open them up and then the same right here

And there we go we’ve got some nice chairs across the back here so this is going to be where the royal family are basically going to be sitting to eat now we’re going to make two big long tables that come all the way down here

And at the back here we want a stage because being the king’s hall for eating i imagine that sometimes he’d maybe have musicians or something planned here just to while everyone’s eating just to keep everyone relaxed and stuff play some nice music maybe i don’t know but it’s

Just an idea so i think for this bit what we’re gonna do is let’s just get our stone blocks first of all we’re gonna fill this little pillar in here only up to where this pillar comes across here okay just for now and then i think

What do we have yeah i think what we do we’ll fill these three up here as well and again we can go ahead and texture this if you want to for the moment i’m just going to leave it as stone there’s only a few blocks there

And then i think we’ll bring the wall across here like this and then this wall here we’re going to just bring it down here okay bring it up until it’s the same height as this pillar here okay so just to here bring it round and then just basically

Fill it in just for now and like i said later on we can go ahead and change this up or fill it with a different block for now i’m just going to go ahead and use the stone um i didn’t plan to but i think we’re

Just going to bring it across to there yeah i think we bring it down we’re going to leave it there um because we might be able to make a little extension for this room up here to have uh maybe to come in here for a stairway or something so we’ll see what happens

There but this section here i think i’m gonna just take that actually all the way up and then that bit there as well just to even out that wall it just makes it feel better Okay and then we’re just gonna go ahead fill this one here as well so when you’re done from the inside here so if we come out outside here you can see we’ve got all of this we can just go ahead and just do something like this

I mean i’m probably gonna just go around and just texture it all up with random textures but if you wanted to keep it all the stone you could go ahead and do something like that with all stone if you wanted entirely up to you guys Now on the inside here what i’m probably going to just do for the moment is just cover this piece here with some spruce planks and then once you’ve got that all in place guys we’re just going to bring some planks down we’ll just bring it all the way across

There we go and then just fill this piece behind here so we’ve got a little raised area for any musicians or that playing their music and being the stage we could just have two upside down stairs there two upside down stairs there and maybe some normal

Stairs in the center just like that just to make it a little bit more of a stage and then underneath here we’re gonna just put a lantern there and a lantern there just for now and i think that will do okay now for the ceiling we’re going to

Start getting some of the lighting in place so what we want to do at the very top here we just want to bring a beam on all of these ones across here we want to bring that all the way across to this side over here okay so here’s

Our door make sure you want to come across from the right hand to the left hand side okay so let’s go ahead bring these all the way across until they touch the walls on the other side Okay once your beams are all in place on the right hand side over here what we’re going to do is a simple pattern on all of them so we’re going to just go two of our spruce planks upside down stair there and a slab there

Again two planks a stair and then a slab okay i’m just gonna do that all the way across okay now that we’ve got that all in place we’re going to go ahead and do something similar on this side so for this side here we’re going to actually count the stairs by the window

Here as the upside down stairs over there so we’re just going to go another four block in front like this and then a slab on top like that then we’re gonna try and match the rest up as we can so we’re gonna go to here

One two three on this one and one two three on this one put your slabs across the front like this a stair underneath this one a stair underneath this one and a stair underneath that one there but as you can see we have a one block gap behind these two

We’re going to put in a full block underneath that and then a slab underneath that one okay to kind of even out the shape of it so that it kind of blends with this side still okay now they’re all in place let’s go ahead and get in some lighting

So for this one guys what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna start i think from here so as you can see we’ve got one beam here one here one here on this one here leave a two block gap this side and then we’re gonna stick a fence just there

This side here we’re gonna leave these two and then put a fence on that one there so leave two blocks in and on the third one then on that same beam we got that one we want to do the same on this side so leave a two block gap put a fence there

One two three and is it this one yeah this one two block gap one there now we’re gonna do the same thing on all four of these for a light which is a very simple light okay so what we’re gonna do is put an iron bar

Then we’re gonna go one two of your spruce fences a spruce fence on each side of the top one just like this then we’re gonna go ahead and put lanterns underneath against each of these okay once they’re all in place guys you should have something that looks a bit

Like this and it’s starting to shape up really nice in here now now we want to get ourselves two long tables in here for everybody to be eating at so for this i think the best way to do this is going to be where the king and queen are going to be seen

You want to leave a one block gap in front and then we’re going to put in a slab on the next row which is going to be i think this one so i think we’re gonna go one in so from the stage you want a one two three block gap and

Then a one block gap here behind where the um where the king and queen are going to eat then go and not cross towards the door we want to place one on every other block coming across to about here which would be one two three four blocks before the post okay

And i think that will do leave a two block gap over to this side and do the same over here just like this then from this one here leave a two block gap place one here and a two block gap and do the same again

Two blue gap two block gap from that one there one over two block gap two block gap and just do it all the way across just like this now at this point here we’re gonna go ahead and put a normal stair here in here for a second and an upside down

Ones on this end break those two let’s do the same over here two like this upside down ones there and break those two then we’re simply going to get our slabs make sure they’re dark oak bring it all the way down until you’re in line with

This last uh slab on the floor do the same on this side and then at the end two upside down stairs do exactly the same on here and then add a variant two stairs okay now behind every single chair here you want to place a dark oak trapdoor

And then crouch and place another one on top and then open them up place one crouch and jump place one and just do that behind these chairs here like this Once you’ve done the ones on this side you want to do exactly the same down here and there we go there’s one table let’s now repeat it on this side over here so now we’re gonna crouch place them facing this way and then once you’ve done that guys go

Ahead and you want to do it this way so we might have to jump and then crouch in place there we go guys we’ve got two nice big tables here for all of the soldiers or all of the king’s men and then the royal family can sit at the top up here

Okay this is looking really good now what i’m gonna quickly do here is go ahead put a lantern in that gap there and then i think we need a lantern in that gap there as well just to brighten that up a little bit and now it’s just time for a little bit

Of decorating okay so first of all guys let’s start making a few little sort of tables in these gaps so where we have the wall gaps here let’s put an upside down stair at each side like this so the dark oak and then a slab in the center let’s do the same

In all of these gaps here um we’ve got another gap down this end here let’s do the same And then i think we’re gonna head over to these ones just in here and we’re gonna do the same thing so upside down stairs in all of these gaps and on both sides and then slabs in the center over here on this corner i’m gonna put a couple of barrels like this

Uh maybe a couple of barrels on this side and we’ll crouch and place some tripwire hooks on those for some little kegs for drinking maybe we can put a little um a little flower pot to look like a cup next to them like that on the table here for people that are

Eating let’s start with the king of course let’s give each of these a cup so put two like that and then maybe over this side two like so and then we can put a a item frame in front of them like so and yeah maybe uh maybe a cake in the middle

Something like that on the tables here i just want to make it look a bit random so we’re gonna randomly place some maybe some cups like this place in a few of the mats like this um we could put a cake there maybe some sea pickles on the table as well

Again we don’t want to over pack the table something kind of along those lines maybe just one there like that yeah that looks pretty good i might just put a flower in a couple of those just like that just so it looks like a decoration on the table

Down this side let’s do exactly the same thing again so we want to place a cake somewhere maybe in the middle about there um a few few of our flower pots like that some item frames And then some sea pickles like that i think and then again i’m gonna just go ahead and put a flower in a couple of these just to make it look like a bit of a decoration on the table okay for the kings table over here we’re

Going to go ahead and make these chairs a little bit more posture so let’s go ahead and just put in a red banner against the top trap door okay you’re going to need to crouch to place it low just like so and i should just make their chairs look a little bit more

Richer than these ones over here now on this wall here in the gaps i’m gonna put an armor stand in the center and then i’m gonna put a full bit of gold armor on here same on this one there we go and that one as well Now that’s pretty good i’m happy with that i think what we’ll do is we’ll get the flower pots again and maybe just randomly on the sides something like this we’ll get some flower pots like that and those ones i don’t want to put in anything overly detailed maybe just we

Get a white one the azure azure blur and we’re just going to go ahead and put a flower in there like so i think here we’re gonna have a table so let’s put an upside down stair there and there okay so with one block from each corner and then we get this slab

And we’ll join that across here for the lanterns here i’m gonna put one more in the corners here but we’re one block from each corner okay so we’ve got four lights And then again for the back here we’re just gonna just add a couple of details so just get some flower pots so we’re putting a couple of flowers maybe something like that for the stage um we could put a couple of barrels up there just as um like a little bit of

Storage so it might just make it look like it’s uh used a little bit more something like that i think that might just make it a little bit more kind of uh just feel like there’s a little bit more use there where the king sitting here i’m gonna

Put one just one block higher than where he’s head is there so the king is gonna be here and the queen here let’s put one that side there okay so there’s just two banners there I think maybe up here we’ll put some just as we come in there and maybe boom right there right on those ones up near the stage and i don’t think we really need more than that i think if we start putting in too much more it’s gonna start feeling a

Bit cramped um and start looking like there’s too much here um again we could get some of our flower pots put a couple of flower pots over this side a couple of flowers in it And in some of the iron frames on here we can go ahead maybe put some food Chicken Maybe even some beetroot soup and then just kind of mix it up guys just so it looks like there’s um a few plates of food going on something along these lines and guys i think that is probably just about it for this room when it comes to

The details like that one last thing actually before we do finish up one thing we definitely need to add which i nearly forgot is a little bit of our bushes we never never never forget the bushes so let’s go ahead and right over here in this corner let’s

Put one there we’re gonna put in a fence post two of our our leaves on top and then we can just use the leaves fill that up to the top not one nice one there Anywhere else we could fit a little bit maybe on stage at the back here something like that i think that works good maybe even one in here just there There we go that looks better actually i think this one underneath here just one just one block tall maybe even like that yeah like that that looks better let’s go ahead actually let’s break these i think put another one over here as well something like that so it’s a little bit

More even and then we can maybe just put a barrel over there like that we could just use a little bit of red carpet you know just a little bit broken maybe there we go a little bit of red carpet on the stage just something a bit like

That and then of course just get yourself a couple of doors of your choice i’m gonna just try the dark oak doors here because we’ve used a bit of dark oak in this room and from the inside here we’re going to place that there in here i’m honestly not sure what i’m

Going to do with this just yet let’s get these spruce i’m just going to just extend this to the ceiling so that it all kind of blends in this will probably just be a little storage room could even make a little secret walkway actually across here because we’ve got a big gap

And it can lead us down into here so we could possibly get a little secret walkway up here well i have to see about that Maybe a secret walkway for the king um yeah so yeah that’s all looking good over in this corner here we’re gonna end up making a stairwell so we’re gonna come in here but i want to have a doorway about here i think um so that we can come into this area

Here so let’s break those two out okay it’s the two in the middle of this we’ve got this one here but that’s going to be seen from the outside so we don’t want to change that so what we’ll do is we will break this one actually and then what we’ll do is

We’ll break this one down here and then we’ll break that and make a frame bring it across on here break those three there and then just make sure you change that one in the floor there there we go so we can actually walk through into this area we are gonna have

To get something in up here uh like a walkway like a spiral staircase um but i’m not certain what places we’re gonna have flaws here so let’s work out first what we’re gonna end up doing with everything else i think in this gap here i’m going to go ahead and do something

Like that i’ll tell you what this little because this this will quite comes all the way through let’s go ahead leave that one there let’s go ahead and just put in some spruce planks along this wall okay so from this little closet that we was in a minute ago

I might have to put a ladder in here might have to be like um like a kind of secret walkway so let’s just leave that one open and then down here again we’re also going to do it as well and also while i’m thinking about it really we could just leave that one
