Collecting Deadly mobs for my Castle Dungeon in Hardcore Minecraft 1.17 Survival

Hey folks whip here and welcome back to the hardcore minecraft world i have an absolutely amazing episode of playing today we’re going to be tackling the castle dungeons and i have some absolutely awesome plans in mind for that so please be sure to click that like button down below and subscribe

If you’re brand new now in the last episode we did a lot of work on the interior of the castle from developing the entire castle kitchen area to then working on the entire just farming area outside for a little herb garden and just so many other things for our barracks so

If you missed that be sure to check out the last episode it was absolutely amazing then up here my friends we have this very very cool tree that we added in oh i love it so much it’s just really inspiring me to get a lot of work done around here now

You might have noticed by now i changed the enchanting glint on the tools over here and i think it looks absolutely amazing and that was completely distract you all from the fact that um i have a new skin for the next month or two i just felt like moving into a purple

Sweater over here nope nope nope uh twitch chat made me do this we did a subathon last friday over on twitch and y’all are absolutely insane for that but this this is my new skin fully equipped with cyan hair so we’re just gonna leave that nice helmet on there for the entire

Month yeah it’s great you know what the purple sweatshirt though kind of digging it kind of digging it i feel like i got like a twitch partner sweatshirt on over here or something like that and i’m i’m okay with that i’m okay with that i think it works with the netherite pretty

Well not gonna lie now one thing i thought would be really cool in the castle dungeons that we’re building is we have the triple layer creeper farm down there already and i wanted to use tinted glass so we can see inside the creeper farm so that brings us all the way over here

Into 1.17 land of the mines where we can head on into the amethyst geode and hopefully there’s a little bit of this stuff growing all the way up oh man i love this place we haven’t been back here for quite a while look at them look how beautiful they are

Oh this is going to be amazing all we got gotta do is mine up a bunch of these with the fortune and we should be able to make a bunch of glass now as we’re over here gathering up some of this amethyst and pillowing around with our blocks of iron

Because uh we’re kind of that rich right now i’ve been looking for some new ideas of challenges to take on inside this world a lot of you have left some amazing suggestions that i have for new builds and things like that to do but i’m trying to make sure that this

World doesn’t just turn into a let’s build world so if you have any ideas for challenges we can take on inside of this world whereas in the last episode a lot of people are like when we’re flying in the dragon they’re like hey flip you know there’s an advancement

For looking at the dragon with a spy glass so i was thinking we could start tackling off some of the advancements but any other weird or wacky challenges you all have please be sure to let me know and i believe we have another amethyst geode

All the way back here that i had mined out i think i left the little crystals at it please please please please please please and none of them are grown up and i probably broke more than half of them this will be able to at least get us

Started on today’s project if we need more we can come back and grab it but for now we got a few things to tackle at the castle which i gotta say is starting to look really cool from the backside definitely needs some terrain to connect it to the ground

But it’s get in there now i’ll be honest i have um absolutely no idea where the creeper farm is in relation to everything else we built in the castle i think it’s kind of down around this area but we need to find an entrance to get into the dungeon i

Was originally thinking this spot but it’s very narrow in here we basically have to turn and go right back down and i think the creeper farm is right through here so at this point i don’t believe that would be giving us enough space to be able to make

Anything cool happen inside of there now just using some temporary blocks right over here to give ourselves a bit of an entrance point i think this could work out pretty well and then we just take a spiral staircase kind of going down that’ll dip underneath this tower oh that’s not stripped fixed it

Was a really rough idea of something like this coming all the way back around here and then maybe we have this section coming upwards and i don’t know when it should be pretty good should be pretty good really not used to the purple sweatshirt for the hand right there

But that is uh a-okay with me i guess now the only mandatory things we need to actually be doing with this entire area is we need to get a way to access the creeper farm storage system underneath so you know we can actually use those drops that’d be pretty nice

You know that is without actually uh climbing into a cave and going through spooky creeper territory to get to our creeper drops and then i really want to be able to see into the creeper farm and i really want to be able to also add a few prisoners i guess into the

Dungeon area i think could be absolutely hilarious and then if we use the cats maybe as the dungeon wardens that could be hilarious because they’re already working in the creeper farm i am hearing a bunch of spiders right now which is really scaring me for what we’re gonna be digging into so uh

That’s not gonna be good but we’ve got the beacon set up now and it’s just time to mine out a bunch of this area over on the empire’s smp server i recently finished up an entire mountain build that was part of the subathon that turned me into this mess right over here

But it turned out to be absolutely amazing and i love it so very much so it got me thinking of i want to work towards a mountain build inside of this world here as well something that can be a bit of a backdrop for ourselves behind the castle

So that leads me to uh we need a lot of stone and a lot of dirt to be able to make this thing happen not gonna be quite as big as the insane mountain range i built back in building with flip but you know something pretty substantial i don’t have too much in

Mind for that guy quite yet all i know is i need a lot of blocks to be able to make it happen and we’ve got a lot of digging to do here and uh hopefully do okay that’s not where we want to go we are above the creeper farm right now

Is this that that is creeper farm okay so we uh we need to be very careful of that point thankfully i was fairly intelligent when i built this thing the first time of we have stone brick going around the entire place so hopefully i’ll be able to

Dig it out almost like an archaeological dig down here we just gotta unveil the entire thing This hole turned out to be a lot bigger than i thought it would be but unfortunately on that grounds is um we’re really tight over here to the water line so if we want to use this too much more we might not be a little careful about where we’re bringing that

Terraforming in around this point but you know that’s something we can figure out later for now i just want to focus on build on the dang thing i really gotta fix this storage room over here but that’s that’s fine oh we already got some tinted glass though so that’s gonna

Be good how much can we make off of what i have so far all right four stacks probably not okay we’re good we can definitely make this happen today maybe that didn’t go quite as far as i thought it would now giving the creepers a brief moment over here to remove

Themselves from the environment we should be able to fill up yep there they go i hear the burning toesies anything in here nope looks all clear that is good okay nothing can spawn well we’re this close i hope oh that’s looking really really cool on this corner oh i can’t wait okay i’ve

Just got to get the rest of these in here and that should be absolutely awesome and terrifying at the exact same time to do all of this you can really tell i had no intention of ever showing this place off originally because on one layer i have

Birch trap doors the next layer we have spruce trap doors and then the final layer below we again have birch trap doors and i think i’m missing a trapdoor right there and it’s a spider how are spiders spawning in here wait what is going on random issues aside we really are

Missing a trap door right there wow okay um i gotta get that fixed because that is ruining the farm a little bit but all of the carpets are in on this layer here all they’re in on this layer is there a different layout you’re supposed to do for the carpets to stop spiders

I’m so confused but this does look really really cool we have a creeper terrarium terrarium aquarium i probably feel like a terrarium for creepers it’s update time i’ve been working over here getting a lot of stuff done actually for the base floor we got a cobblestone in all the way down here

Because i want to add in some moss and actually adding in a bunch of just other random things around here probably mossy stone and we’ll see where it goes from there but then we’re starting to work on the second floor up here and i thought a way that we could have a

Really cool and simple ceiling design is actually just to do this little system right in here and with that polished granite underneath i think it’s gonna look really cool yeah you know what i do like that i think that works out really well what we could do is turn those guys into

Slabs there in the center too to give it a little bit more depth and then what i’m thinking right back in here is i think i have a little bit on me i have two just kidding i i don’t have much at all let’s see our other shulker boxes over here

Deep slate tile block i’ve got to figure out how i can recess this a bit because i think it’ll look a lot better when it’s it’s just a block back behind this brick it’s an amazing block that i use a lot for roof designs and i haven’t really figured a

Way to use it on interiors quite yet but i thought something like this could be super cool and oh my god i love that what if we just take some brick right up here too oh that looks amazing okay i need more deep slate blocks to do this but we’ve got it

That’s the plan that right there oh i love that so good so good okay working time So i started etching out a few of the cells that we’re going to be having here in the dungeons which i think would be really cool my goal is to have six of them and i have got four things in mind that i want to use

The cells for but the last two i want to know from the comments so whatever the top two comments are on this video by the time i get to working on the next video those would be the two things that i trap in cells no

It cannot be an ender dragon and no it cannot be a wither that is the only requirement it has to be something that can feasibly stand inside of a cell and not get out of it and not kill me from the inside big plus i will say this build is looking pretty

Disgusting from the outside but that we’ll fix later we’ll fix later with some terraforming action i’ve got the staircase ready to go for us to build to get ourselves out the front here which we’ll get to why why are you in here i’m just gonna put spiders everywhere we’re just gonna

Put spiders in everything because they just won’t stop spawning why how how can they spawn right there i thought they needed a three wide space to spawn but maybe not maybe i do need to double the amount of carpet we have in here huh panic aside we’ve got some cool

Things down here like this big old cell which i think would be very awesome to fill in and then i was thinking we could have another one right back over in here and it’s a cave perfect that’d be super easy to dig this out we’re not super close to getting to the

Outside at all nope that grass block definitely is not the boy outside nope not at all this is totally safe i figured we could have an underwater jail cell over here which could be kind of fun i still gotta turn the top into something other than dirt which will be

Uh i’ll figure that out here soon but so far i’m really liking this i’m really loving everything we have around here let me just get a lot of stuff done and there we have it my friends i think pretty much everything is about as decorated as it can be until we get the

Lighting sources figured out and actually getting some things behind the bars in here because that is what we’re going to be moving on to next but down here on this floor it is looking super awesome as well i spent a lot more time getting some extra stuff around here since we’re

Going to be using this for the gunpowder storage i figured i might be using some of that to store some paper and whatnot if we do need it we’ve got the little tank over in there and everything else and oh it’s looking so so good i’m really

Really happy with what we’ve been able to do so far today now very important for what we’re doing next is we’re going to require a few name tags here so that we can make sure the things that we’re putting in there are not despawning on us now for this i’m

Thinking we start with the easy but annoying one first and foremost is i wanted to get a panda on top of that i’m on the lookout right now for a pillager patrol because i think trapping a pilgrim’s out of there since they keep harassing us inside this field could be a pretty good

Way to go so i’m gonna keep my eyes peeled on those dudes as we’re flying around here but first and foremost we gotta get one of those big old panda boys speaking of keeping our eyes peeled right here my friends were getting an advancement it is a bird it is

It very much is a bird i’m getting very worried that there are no pandas in this jungle and i don’t know where another jungle is this is the only jungle we found so far and i have yet to see a panda another bird though two birds on a tree

Oh we’ll leave them alone no pandas yet but there is a village i can steal a bunch of hay bales from these pandas won’t be able to evade me forever my friends we will find them we will find them and bring them to justice or something god i don’t really know what

They did but they did something they did something to belong in the dungeon yeah oh my gosh there he is there he is okay the ferocious predator himself the panda look at it look at it look how deadly it is oh we have to go walk this away right away in the castle

Nope i didn’t have that back please oh he took he even stole my bamboo look at him his thief a thief definitely wanted for crimes against the emperor or something like that yep where are the you look at this look at that ferocious face right there we’re almost already back it’s

Pretty good i’m just saying i have to find a way to get the panda to actually go up a few blocks that’s gonna be rough oh yeah you enjoy that piece of bamboo it’s the last one you’re ever gonna get i’m just kidding i can’t not give you

Up here oh you’re so quick look at you oh my gosh you’re flying wow look how fast you are five hours later the last block come on buddy you could do it all the way up here and there we have it tiny is now inside the dungeon you stand there my bud

You’re standing right in there yep my hope is we can get a creeper inside of this room right here so i put in the trapdoor so only creepers can spot and spiders can spawn in there right now i’m really hoping we just get lucky as we’re working on the

Rest of these that could be they could be very nice to not have to manually lure one in here now to capture the next victim i don’t want you but i will take that trident if i could have it no no oh that’s a bummer i will most definitely be distracted by

A buried treasure map over here on the hunt but that is a okay i think it’s gonna be right out here oh nice so good the true treasure is a good night’s sleep just kidding it’s the heart of the sea and four diamonds there it is you’re under the rest for

Being too adorable i’ve tracked down the next two my friends here we have menacing mike and terrible tim where they’re gonna be living right inside of here yeah that that makes a lot of sense for those two absolutely terrible terribly cute little axolotls oh they’re adorable

I think we need to get some coral in there for him eventually so he can have a nice place to live this is turning more into a zoo than a dungeon but that’s okay the dungeon is in the middle the zoo is on the outside it’s perfect i see you tiny

I see you my friends i’ve come across a beautiful sight out here a witch a witch that we can ease so you want to come inside do you want to come inside you look like you want to come inside come on buddy come on into the castle dungeon

All i have to build with right now is coal ore so hopefully we can use that to block him inside oh this is not going to be good all right where’d you go buddy where did he go why i don’t know where the creeper went this is not

Gonna be good oh there he is there he is okay i see him i see him i see him let’s uh fly around him this way and see if we can’t lure him inside please please please use yes yes this way i’m not name tagging him until he’s actually in there come on

Down here buddy come on come on come on come on come on yes yes yes yes oh i think it’s inside oh that was terrifying hi you can be the lad you’re the lad no no no no no no no he’s so stressful okay place that down okay he’s in there

That’s beautiful oh i think we did it oh i think we did it through the power of coal ore we made it happen oh i didn’t light those will he explode if i get close no okay well that was a great thing to face test right there but yeah we did it

We got to get those candles left because otherwise other things will spawn in there constantly oh boy yes that would be fantastic okay i got the block being very careful to not right click him the candles are lit i’m trying to give you some ambiance there little laddie boy

Oh my gosh it’s beautiful i think it’s only fair as we have the creeper in the dungeon now and i can’t seem to get a pilgrim patrol to spawn so that might not be able to happen today but i wanted to come over here and be able to get i believe yes perfect

We can open that chest that is a regular stair up there so we can just open into it but it still looks like a full block from this angle we’ve got eight double chests to ourselves which should be more than enough that we’re gonna need i

Hope or that means we need to make a lot of tnt explosions now we just need to redirect the hoppers right over here to this little corner we’ve got and send them all the way up there to the top so if we take a dropper

Right like this when you get a piece of soul sand sitting right down in there and we said a little bit of a contraption of this dude where we take a comparator taking a symbol off of that block scene if anything is inside of it then we send that all the way back

Around using a little repeater guy right in there and redirect that signal come right back through here into the block again anytime that something is inside of here it should be shot out perfect yes we’re good to go oh i perfectly lined the number of hoppers up there we’ve got one left

Okay perfect so that is completely set up i just need to get the soul sand and the water in there we’re actually all done hi little creepers you guys hang out right up there thank you so very much you’re absolutely amazing we have to be extremely careful the

Creeper is sitting right above there and i almost just tunneled into that hole my god and there we go it should be all done my friends all i gotta do is uh figure out a way to transport all of this junk up top and hopefully not blow myself up

From that creeper cause that that got scary oh i full on panic there i got all the gunpowder moved up over there and i think i’m kind of done working on the depths of the dungeons for right now so look at this my friends a transition to give ourselves a break

Here and get really back into the building mindset i think we uh we need to go kill the other dragon these pillager banners normally i hate them but right now i’m sad i’m sad because i want a pillager patrol for once the only time i think i’ve ever wanted

One need it right now that being said first and foremost we need to find a go you are very armored how about that gas thing where can we find one of those dudes oh there he is there he is look it’s a guest it is a balloon

Or is it a marshmallow nobody really knows oh oh not good not good i forgot gold armor forgot gold armor very not good very not good holy cow those guys do a lot of damage that got very close there i killed the gas i just need the gas tears

Advancements here we’re doing it where are you where are you oh is it a plane i don’t know but shoot your fiery ball down here please thank you definitely need a breath man definitely need a brush man oh no no no no no no

But now we can repair the pickaxe i hope maybe a little maybe a touch worth it best experience farm we could ever have looks like the only advancement we have left in the end is the shulker one which i’ve actually never gotten that in my entire time playing minecraft

But out here look at that we’re completely done with the spyglass at this point time tridents and everything else yeah we still gotta do those haven’t even shot a crossbow wow i have so many of those advancement get moving on to the last two final things for today my friends is i wanted

To do a few tiny builds that i had heard through the comments that i thought were very very cool first one we got coming in here is to build a dead tree looking like it was struck by lightning which i thought was very cool so looking over here

Is the only lightning rod we have in the entire area so i was thinking maybe that was set up on top of the building due to a tree right back here being struck by lightning and they didn’t want the granary to be hit as well

We got to get rid of a few leaves back here so we can actually build the dang thing but you know it should be looking pretty good now i really love the idea of adding in more tall spruce trees in the area we got the little guys all the way around here

Which i think are really cool so i was thinking as we work our way into the jungle we start incorporating even taller trees into the area so we can start out here with our first one being this dead tree i guess now to make it look like it’s

Been struck by lightning we’re gonna be going all the way up here we’ve got a little bit of the branch system down there which i do want to make a little bit larger but i was thinking we could come all the way up here and start stripping down some of these logs as

If the bark on the outside was just blown to pieces all the way around this because the lightning’s striking it now my favorite part about building trees is that it doesn’t matter what they look like no matter what you’re doing for a tree it’s going to look like a tree in the end

Yeah everybody gets in their head in minecraft building particularly about trees and it’s just like you know what this this looks terrible it looks awful it doesn’t look like a tree when in reality minecraft trees look like this who says that that’s a treat that’s a box that’s

A box with a little bit of a lollipop stem at the bottom of it you can make your trees look like whatever the heck you want them to look like if it looks weird and out of place it means it’s adding a little bit of story and interest into the world if

Somebody’s gonna want to walk over here and be like what the heck is that like why is there a random broken down tree over here okay on top of that though can we talk about how cool this wheat field looks right here emerging into the castle oh i love this view

That i don’t think i’ve ever looked at the castle from right over here before that looks amazing now the last one which is going to be another little quick build here is to add a sweet berry field in to everything else that we have going along around here a

Lot of people are saying that i should be should be building a winery near the field that we built in the last episode seeing as it was kind of a vineyard type field this is actually going to be so nice because this is the way that i’ve been gathering sweet berries any

Time that i want to build a new field and add them as the bordering point is i run along the pathways and just collect them on my way over there so now uh we’ll have a designated point to get our sweet berries from which is going to be

Very nice sweet berries have been acquired my friends and now we’re just trying to figure out a place to put the field and my eye keeps coming all the way back over here stretching off towards this new village i really want to start adding some more stuff

Over there but i think we need to do some actual crops instead of the flowers because everything on the far side near where that town is is kind of this lined pattern like that and i don’t think it’s gonna be all that great so it is time for us to build up a

Nice little sweet very field right back here And there we have it my friends a tiny little sweet berry field for ourselves and i would love to see if we can get that slap back because oh that kind of hurt my face there but those are a little hard to get but that’s going to be really cool watching

This guy growing up i’m really loving how these fields are flowing right now because the angle is slowly getting more and more straight and moving towards the other side and i just thought it was a really cool accidental thing that i didn’t even mean to do that being said my friends that’s gonna

Have to do it for today’s episode we were able to completely transform our creeper form that we have underneath and i still gotta add that extra layer on top of it i think i can squeeze one in there but we were able to turn it into a really cool dungeon area where we

Trapped in a bunch of mobs that uh are very scary and i don’t want to touch the creepers anymore but i am absolutely loving everything we’re doing here on castle sorry there wasn’t as much building and everything like that in this episode here my birthday’s next
