Craig – Minecraft: Ace Craft #11 – Mesa Biome! Plus SCARY WITCH!

Hey what’s going on everyone tennis jason welcome back to our acecraft survival let’s play so episode 2 of the new world but like 11th episode in total so that’s cool i hope you guys are enjoying this series today i found a new spot that we were going to build our

House i just went off camera and found a cool spot as you can see they were in like a savannah but it’s like extreme hill savannah i guess you would call it i don’t even know what you’d call it but uh it’s very cool area i just went off

Camera and found it i’m probably not gonna do anything else off camera besides traveling different biomes and stuff maybe walking around but really i’m not going to do any mining or anything else like that so yeah this is a very very cool area i’m going to reload the world really

Quickly because it’s not loading for some reason yeah here’s this more savannah there’s a nice little like outcropping of like kind of extreme hills type savannah mountains around here it’s a very very big uh ravine over there as well so i was like might as well restart

Or not restart but like might as well change up our house do it in a biome that is kind of different so yep that’s why we’re here so also there is a um i’m pretty sure there’s a mesa biome closed here i was looking at the map and yeah there it is

Okay i was gonna say um i was looking at the map just just a second ago i just printed it out and like have it like close to my computer and yeah there’s the mesa biome so if you guys haven’t been to a mesa biome that’s what it looks like we’ll

Definitely go check it out i heard it’s also sometimes called disco mountain biomes um just because it looks like a disco ball it’s like a mountain i guess but we’re gonna build our house like right on here i like this spot so i got everything from my old house um and just

Kind of just walked straight here i kind of used the map and looked around i wanted to build it close to like a mesa so i could show you guys because i’ve never been in one and also savannah because i have not been in one either

So i think we’re going to build it on the top here let’s go about chicken we’re going to build it like on this top of this little mountain because it’s a pretty big area and it’s really flat i like that a lot of the area around here

Is very mountainous and the terrain is not very very flat so this is probably the best area to do it and then maybe we can use these other big uh just other big mountains and kind of outcroppings over over there and over here kind of connected to our house or

Something cool like that but there’s the new one it’s not new it’s like new in 1.7 i guess you could say i’ve never had it um acacia would i guess you’d call it um but i kind of like it actually it’s like a dark kind of grayish type or it

Might be red when you actually turn it into like uh planks and stuff i don’t know i’ve never used this wood so that’s cool i might build a house out of that or something else i don’t know yet um but i’m gonna try to build a pretty cool looking house

Uh i’m gonna do some cool builds on here it’s not gonna be like um it’s not gonna be only survival i’m gonna do cool builds and stuff like that too eventually a long way away we’re gonna eventually fight the ender boss or the ender dragon uh the wither boss lots of

Stuff like that so you guys are excited about that um but probably not close um but you never know so let’s keep going after this acacia wood and if i’m pronouncing it wrong definitely tell me in the comments i’d because i’ve never seen this one so i have no idea

Uh but it’s very very cool i like the savannah biome it’s kind of an interesting air area and also eventually want to get a horse as well it’ll be easy to travel in and out of just everywhere so might as well try to find one um eventually too

But i guess to start we’ll build it kind of right here where these rose roses are so let’s just clear these out with the clear the tall grass too be nice if we had a water bucket we could get that done much faster and just drop some water and it all disappear but

Sadly we don’t have one mean what’s good about the tall grass is if we need some seeds which we eventually will to make a farm um getting that out of the way so that’s good let’s keep going another chicken over there hopefully no mobs spawn on here i

Cuz i mean i have a sword i guess but i don’t really want to have to worry about them for right now keep going a little bit a little bit bigger i gotta clear all these trees out out of this area too just so we can um i don’t

Even have my what am i doing i don’t have my resource pack on faithful there we go i don’t know why i didn’t have it on uh but usually most of the time always seven minutes i don’t know why but i i like a lot texture pack or research back

I should say it’s very very good it’s kind of like simple it doesn’t really change how it looks that much um but i like that it uh reduces lag at least for me let’s keep going do all right that’s probably a big enough area for right now um but obviously we’re gonna

Make our house bigger uh down the road but right now this is probably fine so let’s make it uh let’s just make out of out of i kind of want to use wood but also cobblestone and we’re going to change it up a ton just the first design initial design so

It probably won’t be that big either but we can go and use some cobblestone to start off i’m like that’s probably fine for right now yeah that’s probably good and we gotta make sure we sleep so we reset our spawn correctly and all that stuff um because we don’t want to be like

We do not want to be having to go back way where the other spawn was because it was a pretty long hike i’m not gonna lie it’s pretty freaking long to get here so yeah let’s try that acacia wood i just want to see what it looks like

So let’s just make some planks of that oh i like that wow it’s like an orange nice oranges color i like that it stands out i’ve never seen that i’m not going to use it all um let me make it a little bit more but i don’t want to use that

Much because i won’t actually use the wood itself instead of the planks um so yeah let’s go with this for right now oh that’s not what i wanted to do oh come on there we go okay so let’s go this do this side i don’t know what else i’m going to do

On this episode maybe i want to show you guys the mesa bottom a little bit oh just i hear a baby zombie not good once you get in the house we’ll be okay i don’t want that baby zombie to come and attack me they were so annoying to uh

Kind of defend fend off against i guess but uh i don’t want that to happen so let’s put our doors right here make uh make our doors right here i guess it’s fine let’s chop that up check that up at least for now and then maybe we’ll

Change it up obviously but for now we’ll have like this let’s get our pick out got lots of coal it’s awesome there’s that and then put it right there and right there okay i don’t i don’t know why the doors did that bad doors come on doors

Hello oh whoa hey hey no i don’t wanna i don’t want to face you today it’s okay all right there we go my doors are kind of messed up but we can fix those later uh next let’s do a just some normal planks just to do the

Roof a little bit i don’t want to do like overdo this house much right now since it’s our just initial design uh we’ll probably go okay yeah boom boom boom there’s a lot of wood around here so i’m not not like too upset with using a lot of wood right here

All right that’s fine doesn’t even matter let’s do this right there that right there that right there oh it’s not that was not what i wanted to do and then we’ll make it one one higher and then i think we’re set and then yeah hopefully don’t get shot

Off by a skeleton that would be bad let’s fill that in i’m liking that we got a lot of resources on the first episode so we have to worry about like wood and that stuff right for right now at least all right so then let’s just cap it off

With let’s keep it also with some acacia wood i think that i’m probably able to do it all but maybe some of it oh yeah we really didn’t get much at all all right whatever we will we’ll do one row of acacia wood and then we’ll have we’ll finish it off with

Maybe just the rest of the orange acacia wood if we have enough of that we might not even have enough of that yeah we probably don’t that’s okay though but yeah tell me if you guys know of any of the other other uh no i don’t know if

There’s really any other ores but any of the other like dirt blocks i heard there’s a new kind of dirt i forgot what it’s called uh and i also covered i heard there’s another kind of wood and um besides acacia so i do want to see what those are i think um

I guess you want to get those and stuff to go to those biomes but i don’t know which biomes they’re in i don’t even know what they’re called so definitely got to figure all that out like i’m a noob in 1.7 um but i’m pretty

Good with all the rest of the stuff so there and okay we’re good i’m just going to make some torches and then we are set for our initial design guys if you guys like it it’s kind of interesting stands out i guess you could say and uh yeah let’s go let’s get our

Crafting table out just put it in our chest that’s just right here crafting table right there i put a bunch of our stuff in here gotta sleep too can’t forget to sleep on this episode then our spawn would be wrecked all right um let’s just fill it up with one block of that

And then we should okay now we’re definitely safe all right we’re getting some light in from the moon that’s nice all right so sorry about that my phone just went off i don’t even know if you guys heard that all right oh the monsters nearby no

Monsters all right we might have to go and fight him guys are you ready this is very very risky i don’t know if it even should but i think i’m going to let’s go monsters do not want to okay yeah there he is just jumped right on me

Let’s go hey let me get back in there right now let’s try to sleep okay wow they’re still monsters what the heck that’s annoying monsters where are you oh here you go oh yes here’s some oh wow you have some uh some seeds thank you sir i will definitely gladly take your seeds

I don’t want that creepy to come here because that would be bad all right let’s go there we go all right guys setting up our new spawn that’s sick i’m ready to start off the series now doing a different world or a different way yeah different world new

Biomes and stuff it’s gonna be a lot of fun so let’s fix our door first on a bad door we definitely don’t want a bad door um so let’s fix that should be a quick fix okay there we go all right doors are working correctly now let’s make another

Chest and also we want to make a furnace as well just so we have that out of the way because we’ve got to get rid of gotta get done with some of the easy stuff and then okay so there’s that boom double chest let’s go and then i

Don’t even know i don’t think we’ll be able to make two i think we need um i know we should actually be able to make two exactly with the cobblestone that we have left so that’s awesome um i thought it was 18 but it’s really um

16. so there we go got our furnaces make a couple furnaces get those going as well we don’t have any iron to smelt right now but do have some coals we’ve got to make some gotta make some what are they called sticks so let’s just do that

And we’ll make we’ll make a six we’ll make a 24 i mean then we’ll put that there i need a lot of torches so i’m just going to get a lot of those out of the way now and then we can light up our house a bit also we can

Go explore caves if we want to this episode if i can find a good one i know there’s a big ravine um and i know the general area where that is i also need to kill some mobs and stuff too and i might want to get some wood as well just so

I’m kind of set with that because we don’t have any food right now i mean a little bit but not really enough to matter i’ll eventually clear all these trees fill up that hole and do a lot of stuff but we’re going to go in the base to buy on that general direction

And uh yeah i’m going to start it off so if you guys like what we’re doing we got a got a really really cool area i’m loving this world this world like my friend looked at it again i showed him again uh yesterday after i finished uh the other episode of

Our acecraft and he was saying that wow you’ve been you’re really lucky with the world you got so uh that’s awesome he said there was even an ice spike biome and he was like those are very very very hard to find so that’s cool that we got one of those i don’t even

Know what an ice spike biome really looks like i might i should probably just google i don’t know why i haven’t googled the app but i need to see what those look like because i will eventually want to travel there or maybe make like a a separate

House there or something maybe we can do something cool i don’t know what it is yet but you guys could help me out in the comments and uh yeah that’s cool let’s get some cows a little cow getting some nice xp as well it’s always good to get that xp even though we

Probably don’t won’t need it for a while all right we need some just gonna eat the chicken right now just so we can run a little bit and i’m gonna kill the slash sheep and now we’re gonna go over to the mesa bomb

I don’t i don’t know if mobs or i mean i think mobs do i don’t know if like cows and sheep and stuff spawn in there and uh that stuff but we will definitely see i kind of wanted i should have made a shovel because i want to collect some of that sand

But maybe i can try to collect it by hand you’re not that creepy as you can see there are a lot of little caves and stuff around here so here’s the mesa biome aka disco mountain biome um so as you can see you’re going to f3 it says mesa

And it says a bryce so i don’t know what that that means but mesa biome this is very very cool very interesting biome it’s like there’s a very tall kind of kind of like a mesa spike biome it’s bryce so i guess that means make it mesa spike i don’t know

What that means but um very very interesting let’s try to see if we can mine this okay so i think you just might yeah you do have to use a pick okay that’s good then uh i was hoping it was not a shovel and it’s a pick so what is this orange

Stained clay okay so all this is just stained clay i’m not very familiar with stain clay that much i mean a little bit but not really that much i’m going to just get a little bit of each color but when we start doing some cool builds this is definitely the place where we’re

Going to go to get our clay and our stain our um clay in our different colored blocks and there’s lots of bridges a huge birch forest over there when i get into this area i had to go through that birch horse but i went on on the outside part

Over there and so i didn’t really see this too well this mesa bomb but this is very very nice that area i like it a lot guys i see it a little bit more kind of wasting i should have cooked them but it’s fine what is this

What the heck is this this is red sand interesting well i’ve never seen red sand either so that’s cool um it’s not really a red it’s more of an orangish color but i don’t know i guess it’s red so let’s get a lot of this too

Maybe we can make a cool house with some of this stuff i don’t even know what i’m gonna like officially make my real house out of yet hopefully something interesting um this is massive wow yeah we can we’ll definitely go like chop down some of these mountains and get a ton of stained

Clay this is just huge geez this is very very big so i guess first time i’ve ever been this this bottom life-changing minecraft event guys first time ever been in a mesa biome so yeah they’re very i don’t know how rare they are i don’t know if they’re really that rare

But maybe they are i’m gonna try to get some sand just in case i i don’t think you can use red sand as um a way to make glass but if you can you can that’s cool but i’m gonna try to just get i’m just saying just in case

That you can’t get glass by using red sand so let’s go get some more wood wood’s always nice but i want to also kind of snake my way back around because i do want to show you guys the big ravine that i did find um initially when i was over there kind

Of i don’t think it’s too much by the birch i think it’s more in the middle of this kind of open savannah type area but if we build like our house or like over there on that outcropping somewhere and then we could build our house to

Connect it over here maybe connect it to the mesa bond we’re gonna do something um we’re gonna do really cool stuff on here so just gotta start off getting all the resources uh kind of exploring the area soon what we have to work with because gotta get that all those that

Type of stuff done all right getting more of this wood i don’t want to like destroy all the trees because like i want to have some cool looking savannah savannah type trees um but i think i need to get some some uh some wood so might as well do a

Little bit got a lot of leather make some armor and stuff we might already have enough to make armor i’m not too sure about our hunger bars just like getting wrecked though i’m used to uh pixelmon and all like the the fast running shoes and stuff and it

Seems like running normally now seems so slow to me so that’s kind of bad but yeah oh oh shoot i was hoping it was not okay is this deep all right so cool we got this iron right there i’ll eventually go back and collect that

Um but i want to show you guys the ravine because that is very very interesting and it’s okay it’s gonna say hopefully it’s not right there because i was just about to jump there this might be it okay here it is guys and what even is crazier about this ravine i’ll go into

This is um wait you might have to go on the other side to actually see it it might be over here where is it i wanted to show you guys oh no i see i see all right so what’s crazier about this ravine this is the first time in my whole experience of

Playing minecraft that i’ve ever seen this there is diamonds and plain view that is insane there’s four diamonds at least right there maybe more but there’s like a ravine and then like a minute mini ravine cutting it in half so it makes kind of like an x shape so x

Marks the spot with that diamond that’s awesome it’s insane that there’s diamonds that are right there like we’ll be able to get that maybe next episode if i get some iron um for the rest of this episode or do something like that there’s tons of resources down here i’m eventually

Definitely gonna explore this um and all that stuff so that’s oh pardon me that’s gonna be awesome um i can’t believe there’s diamonds that’s insane i’ve never seen diamonds like plain view through a ravine or just any deep cave like that so first time experience with that so let’s go maybe this way

Um i don’t think there’s really much else i wanted to show you other than that stuff i mean there is some extreme hills and normal normal type of normal types of biomes and stuff so also that’s cool but look how big this mountain is you can’t really get a

Good size like good uh perspective on the size to go way out here um because when i was first approaching this area i saw this i was like whoa i didn’t know if it rendered and like improperly because it looked really weird with all the all the clouds and stuff but it’s just

That’s how it normally looks so it’s crazy it looks sick though man that that mountain is one of the first like i’ve seen that’s uh ever looked like that without having like um what’s it called the uh it’s like a setting you can have on a seed or on anything when you create

A new world and it’s called um i forget what it’s called but it makes like the mountains and stuff crazy looking like really really tall and i didn’t turn that on at all for this one i just made a random world and bam we got a crazy looking mountain area so that’s awesome

Seed is very very cool then we’ve got some nice little ocean and stuff over here um good that’s good when we go like i’ll make a dock and stuff in our boats but i actually do want to go down back down here sorry i first forgot i already had a pick i

Thought i thought i needed to make a pick at first but we already have one let’s get a little bit of iron and hopefully this cave isn’t deep oh wait that’s not the case where’s the cave why are we not at the cave okay there’s the ravine where’s the cave

At guys i just was i was just by it like no jokes it probably is over here because i came from the mesa biome when i saw it and okay there’s a cave but i saw one that had iron like easily okay here it is this is it here’s the iron

And i might go a little bit down and i hear a skeleton or something but i do have some torches so maybe we can go a little bit but if we start getting mob attacked then probably not hopefully okay this is goes pretty deep actually i don’t want to go

All the way down there maybe we can find there’s some coal right here maybe there might be iron up there or something let’s check it out there are skeletons close by here somewhere though this might also connect to that big ravine i wouldn’t be surprised if it does i’m so massive that thing

All right let’s check over here hm oh not not my wall not my wood all right this is this just might be just connecting one of these other mini caves around here i don’t know um oh it’s night oh oh that’s not good it is night outside guys i did not know it

Was night that is not good okay but uh hopefully this guy okay we’re gonna go after this guy actually i’m gonna like try to try to go after all right let’s go let’s go let’s go hey hey there we go get out of here skeleton bam let’s go

I’m getting hyped over a skeleton kill that’s what i’m talking about all right um hmm not much iron i’m gonna look over here just in case there’s any over here why am i glitching out okay anything i’m not gonna go for the cold right now because i have so much

I’m gonna put a torch here just to make sure i know i’ve been down here that’s kind of my thing with caves unless like i don’t know i put a sign outside saying that i’ve like mined everything um i might i’m gonna probably have to come down here since i’m not gonna get

All the coal right now but this might be longer than what i think so far it’s pretty small though but this might change it maybe this stuff is just gravel it might look weird to you guys but that’s just the texture pack i’m on so this is all just

Gravel all right i like actually like the how it looks with this uh resource pack there’s another skeleton so we’re gonna wait for him to come up a little bit gonna eat some food okay here he is okay let’s go let’s go yes get out of here man all right uh

Let’s go a little bit deeper okay nope nope not going deeper not going deeper okay that was bad um maybe we can fight him off so we can’t get up here i kind of want him to explode maybe it’ll expose some iron or something but do need gunpowder so that’ll always

We’re gonna mine this really quickly just we can at least make an iron pick but jeez that scared me oh my god whoo that was bad feels like i’m playing one of those horror maps so that’s scary i’ve never seen a witch like not by

Her hut or like a swamp biome so that is very very strange i do not want her to kill me but i don’t okay let’s get out of here hey oh geez she withered me that’s not good okay well i think we knocked her off though that’s that which is good but i

Don’t want any mobs to sneak up behind me we got to fill up our hunger bar all the way so we will we will start uh gaining our health back because we don’t want to die under here that would be bad okay so there we go all right so let’s go up here

And uh let’s get out of here before we take any more damage that would be bad um but i want this wither effect to go off before i go outside just in case i do counter encounter any mobs but um yeah i’m gonna cut it here hope you
