Hello my name is hector and in today’s tutorial we’re going to learn how to build this little japanese house so let’s get straight into it now and to build the house these are the materials that you will need and not that many and you want to start off with a 15 by 15 Kind of plot that’s the kind of main plot then what you want to do is place a block there gap of two place another block gap of two another block gap of one block gap of two block gap off two block now this is going to be The entrance here okay then on the sides on the back the pattern changes slightly so again um a gap of two then a gap of three another gap of three and a gap of two and that’s the same on the back and on the side so Get that done and then once you’ve done that you’re gonna put upside down stairs pretty much everywhere except except in this one block gap and you’re gonna have some stairs there that’s just so you can get up there and but everywhere else upside down stairs all the way around Now once you have done that you want to come in two blocks basically so one two like that on each side and basically just fill all of that in okay so just two blocks all the way around fill it in and then once you have that you should get something like this so Now this is three wide now we’re gonna start putting the um kind of basic house shape up okay so what we’re gonna do is oh well i’m just gonna put a temporary block there but from here you go up three like that on this side so All the way around you wanna go into the corner and go up a three like that so that’s three high from there and then on this side here what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna have uh like a gap of two again and then a gap Of one for the door and then another gap of two on the side and the back we’re gonna go right in the middle and do that so we’ll have two gaps of three okay so go ahead and do that and then once you’re done with that you Can pick the block that you’re using for your walls now a lot of japanese house they kind of had you know the paper wall and this is why i’m using the new kind of bone block in 1.10 of course if you’re not using 1.10 you’re on console or windows or You’re still on a lower edition of java minecraft then you can use i would use either white wall or chiseled quartz i think those would work the best any kind of white material even if it was uh the white clay which is slightly pinkish and but that would work fine but go ahead And fill all of this in now and when you’re done you should get something like this very very kind of simple now you could change the walls up a little bit if you wanted kind of up to you on the sides i kind of decided to do something a little bit different and Just put a kind of log going horizontal across so you can do that as well um japanese again japanese homes were often kind of done with their kind of paper walls and that’s what the bone blockers represented here you could of course also use trapdoors um and actually another thing that kind Of works quite nicely and if we do just that quickly is logs and logs like this if you don’t do them kind of horizontal like that it kind of creates you know that kind of effect of having the kind of framed border type thing which looks quite nice as well so these Are all options to you should you not like the white walls or want to do something a little bit different and i want what i’m doing here so now what we’re going to do is we’re going to add the fences so put a fence all the way around except for this one Here and then on the corners you want to go up a further three more fences okay now we get to doing the roof i’ve used stone brick stairs so what you want to do is place a temporary block there then come around the corner and do that then here we do the same In the middle we just put three three like that and then on the corner again we do the same so do that bit all the way around and once you’ve done that you will get something that looks a little bit like this which looks a little strange right now and but we’re Gonna start filling it out so get your slabs and just fill out these bits here like that okay so nice nice and simple there and what you’re gonna do now is on the corner just put a temporary block there like that so you can see that’s just one up There and then you’re gonna come across two like that so do the same on this corner as well and then come across again like so and now here is kind of up to you and what i do is i put another two blocks there and then i add another one there Like that okay you can see that there and then just to finish off that bit i put two on there now on the in the middle bit here i just put one kind of slab there okay which obviously you don’t want to do here because this is our entrance and Actually i’m just going to add another bone block there just like that just to finish that little bit off now i’m going to move on to this section i’m going to move on to this section here and this is the kind of curved part of the roof which is a real kind of Marker of kind of japanese architecture and i think it it looks really quite cool so i’m gonna start with a slab on there and then you’re gonna start with a slab on the top part of the stair uh like that okay and i’m gonna come down one And then put another one there and then from the middle slab here so we’ve got three slabs here now from the middle one you wanna come out on both sides like that okay both sides like that yeah that makes sense and then on the fence here you can kind of add one there And add one there on that side like this and then i believe all that we need to do is do that as well and that is the kind of that’s how you do this particular corner okay so now you should be able to do this on all sides so Remember on on the backs i just put one bit there but the rest is exactly the same so go ahead and do that and then once you’ve done that you should get something that looks like this which is looking pretty good now so on the inside now on the inside if you Want a floor here i’ve just used dark oak so let’s fill that in quickly like so and then on these bits here so just to hide these bits i put a border of upside down dark oak stairs and now we’re going to start building the upstairs bit so we’re Gonna on the corners put three up like this on each of the corners and then in the middle we do one of three as well then once you’ve done that uh bring up well it depends what you want to do here i’ve added uh those fences Just as kind of windows on the upstairs but you don’t have to so let’s just to begin with let’s bring up three like this on all sides all the way around like that and then if you did want the fences as windows you want to put it on the middle block okay The middle one not the top one which it looks like there but that’s because some of the roof will kind of go on that block there so that’s what you want to do if you want the windows and then once you’ve done that we can start putting The roof on here so you want to start by just putting a line of stairs all the way around ignoring the very corners then once you’ve done that what you want to do is come to this block here and go up with the fences once more just three High and put another slab on the top like that i’m gonna do a very similar thing as we did with that one so i’m going to start off by putting a slab just one down next to it and then go all the way around like that okay And then very simply we’re going to put one there and one there okay and that should pretty much do it so that’s a very simple one so do that on all sides and then once you’ve done that you want to get your slabs out again and you want to do a pattern Of just slabs on this bit and it wants to go just like that okay so one inside there and then all the way along the sides like that and we’ll put a stair there stair there and the same on the other side like that and then just fill that up with either a Block or slabs like i am there now and then once you have done that you want to put a stair there a stair there i’m here we’re gonna come around so these slabs should join up with those just stairs that in like that and then what we need To do is just put a stair there just a temporary block and another row there so you should have two bits of stairs like that so let’s do it on the other side like that and then you will notice that you have gaps here so Just put a slab on the top part there and on the other side as well and then once you’ve done that what you want to do put one slab there like that and then we’re gonna again temporary blocks temporary blocks put one stair on that side One stair on this side there we go uh fill this one in with a block or two slabs like so come here put an upside down stair and another upside down stair and then i kind of finish this off with a stair there and they stay there and that That is it that is the japanese house finished okay so let’s go have a little look-see um inside and see what i’ve done so i’ve added a roof there so you can see this is where we put the stairs i’ve just added a roof of slabs and i’ve extended this Back log down all the way down here okay so this is now one off the wall and down here but you can see there’s a little bit of space this obviously could go down into a mine as well and then up here we have a small little space Uh where we have some window space so it’s a little small house but of course as ever with my build you could easily make this bigger if you so wish the hardest things to get right are these corner bits but these corners will work pretty much on any corner that you make Okay as long as these dimensions are the same uh from where you put the fence to the corner so that should still work so it can easily be made larger but i hope you did like this little house if you did a like or comment is always very much Appreciated and of course make sure you subscribe for more awesome tutorials and
