EPIC FIRE FIGHT! Ignis vs Ignited – Minecraft 1.20+ Pt 6

Welcome to the Mischief I’m Valen and this is L Ender cataclysm today I’m going to be taking you through just about everything that I can think of in order to try and help you accomplish conquering this mod today we’re going to be finishing this series and that is

With what I deem the most difficult to Kill Boss of them all there’s going to be a lot of preparation for this one but it’s not as intense as you might think it involves killing a number of any of the other bosses yes you can feasibly take this

Boss out uh with a shield and preferably an axe with sharpness on it uh otherwise netherite sword with sharpness would work but it’ll make things uh a little more challenging and that’s mostly because of the mini bosses before it but still having some kind of nether axe uh

Or or an axe along with you whether it has sharpness on it or not will help you on this track because there are many bosses before the big boss uh that will require that or at least in my mind they do alternately you can have some piercing preferably Quick Charge

Crossbows with you especially fitted with a bunch of arrows uh you could even use those explosive tip ones that you may have gotten from uh fighting the Ender guardians but um that will help you as well those aside you’re probably going to want to get as usual golden

Apples now in this case you can’t have enough I recommend a lot of them especially if you’ve never fought bought this boss before uh it takes a bit of getting used to and it may involve multiple deaths uh there may also be uh a use for an invisibility potion at some

Point which I’ll get into in a little bit but the preferred weapons that I recommend for the battle in this case is going to be a void Forge if you’re not familiar with this it is a combination of the infernal Forge and the void core uh on your mechanical Fusion Anvil this

This one is really important uh at least in my mind for a default weapon you can do just fine with this as the attacks can get around a lot of the uh The Shield that this guy may be holding up quite often and it gives you a little

Bit of distance and range for you to use this you’re really going to be doing like uh attack and run away and try and heal and not die tactics most important for survivability in my mind is going to be tital claws putting sharpness a high level of sharp Ness on these is just

Going to help you out a bit but it’s not so much for this attack that you can like use from a good range for very minimal damage I mean that that’s not really anything to worry about cuz it’s not going to be doing very much hopefully you’re not too close to this

Guy but you will mostly be using it for Mobility just using the right click option to jump around in different areas quickly because you need to get out of the way of just about everything because this guy attacks way too fast for you to survive a lot of those attacks otherwise

You can do without it but it is an even harder battle overall again I’m showing you the ways that are probably going to make it easiest for you and then last but definitely not least and probably my most favorite is the Wither assault shoulder weapon now just uh using it

With a a right click and holding it down like a bow shoots a homing missile that does some damage and it like has a little bit of a Wither effect that is not what you’re going to be using it for I mean you could but the guy has a

Massive Shield so you’re going to want to get this for the cluster bomb uh which will then leave an area of effect where it hits uh to be a little bit more clear let me drop it here you can see this is a Wither area and any spot that

That’s in it will then start doing additional damage and this is going to constantly help you out in this battle because again he’s got a massive Shield that pretty much prevents you from doing a lot of damage alternate things is going to be uh one or two potions of

Poison I mean yes you can actually poison uh the boss here or at least the the big boss not the mini bosses you’re going to want a bunch of potions of fire resistance this battle may take some time to get through and uh what will

Also help you out is going to be your Sandstorm in a bottle if you already have that as well because there are going to be spots where you might get stuck in the ground and you might need to get up and out of those areas and in

Order to do so you’ll either need tital claws to grab things to get out or the option to turn into a sandstorm and fly around briefly to get out of these areas and then most importantly in order to find this Boss Arena you’re going to need the eye of flame it does require

Some Soul Sand netherite scrap Eye of Ender and some blaze powder so it’s not too bad in order to make this it’s just the surviving of fighting the boss itself that is going to be the most difficult and this is the burning Arena that you’re going to be fighting in this

Is the structure that you’ll be looking for it’s quite large very spherical well not really spherical conical is more appropriate and it has multiple levels to it first you’ll be most likely coming in around ground level uh if not uh I recommend it it’s not a bad idea you can

Actually put like a respawn anchor somewhere down here and then hopefully use that because you’re probably going to need it keep yourself a chest of Glowstone nearby as well once you’re ready you just head up these stairs and at the top you’re going to find a couple

Of these one at each end so don’t think that they’re just both going to be at the same spot they’re called ignited remnants these have 40 hit points 12 armor and well yeah you’re going to need to defeat them in order to summon the big boss ignis now these guys you’re not

Going to have much luck with shooting them with any kind of ranged attacks unless you’re extremely accurate and Get Lucky with some RNG on the hitbox you basically have to avoid these shields that they have spinning around it which tend to pick up speed when I’m in survival mode and not in Creative

Getting allowing you a closer look at these guys this is where I recommend you actually have yourself an axe handy one is because you still want to be able to use a shield for when they attack you but you can also start breaking their Shields they have four and you can do

Critical jump attacks to break theirs now these guys do have special attacks they have a blindness breath they also do some kind of scattershot effect where they shoot out a whole bunch of spikes like those ones that are on the shields there and they’ll Spin and constantly do

Damage to you which is another good reason to have your Shield though they can start grinding through your Shields durability rather quickly but rather it than you this is why I also recommend having a second Shield or more just in case because this battle and the next

One may end up uh taking a heavy toll on those items now I did say that having an axe with some kind of sharpness or something like that would be useful but in this battle for these little mini bosses it’s best if you have something

With Smite on it if you already have a really good weapon with spite especially if it’s an axe this is a really good use of it because they are Undead and weak to that now another strategy for fighting these guys I mentioned earlier bringing a piercing Quick Charge

Crossbow with some am ammunition would be potentially helpful that’s because it will pierce the shields of these guys and you can just constantly shoot them down thus kind of running away loading shooting running away loading shooting and probably never even getting hit once uh if you’re fortunate enough but in

This case I’m going to give you a demonstration of how fearsome these guys can get there’s that scattershot effect and you can see that they end up doing a little bit of a spinning attack they have their blindness breath and then that scatter shot and their

Shields are gone so now you pretty much just have the option of just trying to kill them without hopefully dying first and you just kind of attack them until they’re done they will drop burning ashes now that was only one of them the other one I’m not

Close enough for it to aggro but you should be able to get two of them and each of these will allow you to summon an ignis boss I recommend not using both at the same time because then you’ll summon two ignis bosses you only want to

Summon one folks uh and then come back to it and summon another there are plenty of other uh overpowered mods out there that you can use to uh potentially um like kill the the ignis boss very easily as well as any other boss for that matter in this mod but if you are

Going about it in a more vanilla manner then you’ll probably want to have uh been prepared for it just in case once you’ve defeated those little mini bosses you’re going to want to go up to the major event this Grand Arena first you should be made aware that if you really

Need to or want some underneath here is a chest and a bunch of gold you can mine this out and get some of this the the loot underneath um which can be very useful if you don’t already have Maximum Armor yes you need to have uh everything

As maxed out as possible in my mind uh having mending is not going to hurt but in this battle obviously you’re not going to be getting XP in the middle of it there are no small mobs being spawned in in the middle uh but protection 4 if

You have the Monstrous Helm that is highly recommended to have uh especially because it will help you out if your health gets a bit low now just to give you an idea this is a bird’s eyee view of the Arena from straight above and this is a view of the Arena after the

Boss has been started or the boss fight has been started the ground will crack in the area where you see the glowstone that will actually be deep crevices of lava this is going to cause you no end of difficulty you’re going to need ways of getting out of this lava or else this

M this this boss is just going to trounce you immediately coming back to this Arena and bringing up this view you can now see that there’s going to be some problems uh you’re going to constantly need need to be on the Move uh probably with title claw if you’ve

Defeated that boss if not it’s going to be very challenging in order to just try and get around anywhere um most of these edges around here except where the entrances are will have a line of lava along it as well so it’s it’s not going to be very easy to maneuver what I’m

Actually recommending if you don’t mind doing it is dying first after you activate this then coming back naked with an invisibility potion filling in all the crevices and then refighting the boss it makes it a lot easier but the boss shouldn’t attack you while you’re naked and invisible uh you

Still can place blocks with no problem just don’t attack it or put on any kind of armor or uh anything that will make you visible like uh you know Etc that being said I’m taking my burning ashes that I got from the mini boss ignited

REM an I’m going to click it here on the altar of fire this will summon the ignis boss now as per normal these bosses will come with their own music track and so on so yeah that it’s always really impressive and very intimidating turned it off for that purpose uh because of

Well I don’t like being intimidated but uh more so I don’t want to get uh you know strikes on the channel so this guy here has 225 Health there are no hidden health bars or anything like that but he’s got this big Shield that is all

About keeping you at Bay and a lot of the damage that you might normally do off of him it has three stages this is probably the easiest stage at the beginning uh and it is the most armored as you can see it’s got 10 armor but that’s just itself The Shield will block

A lot of attacks just straight up and you can’t really just carve through it like you could with the uh the little ignited remnants before um The Shield is pretty much there to stay at least for the first two versions of this guy on the second stage once you’ve brought the

Health down past you’ll see the little marks at the top of the screen uh they represent about where the stages will change stage two it gets a bit more offense uh and also has a rune area of effect attack including upon with all the other attacks that this guy has the

Stage three they drop the shield making them very vulnerable but uh as well as uh very open to ranged attacks you can hit them with ranged attacks but it’s very difficult to do and your piercing crossbow is not really going to be quite as useful unless you can really get

Around that Shield but they’ll hold it up quite frequently so it’s not really going to be that practical but during stage three then just about any kind of ranged attack will work work now here’s the thing this boss will heal but only by stabbing you this is a big catch and

Probably the reason why most people will die to this boss is because of one specific attack that it does does a really big windup attack with this arm It’ll like pull it back in the air and then stab directly at you probably reaching you as far away as here uh so

You’re going to want to be very aware of this using your title clause to constantly go in a bit of a circle pattern around him will help with that but more importantly if you have something in your hand or not at all with your Shield then you can actually

Block that one attack it will break your Shield uh like like uh temporarily but this will allow you to survive that what happens is it will skew you with this with his sword and then hold you in the air and drain your your armor to heal itself

This this is a fire imbued Living Armor Set so yeah now this is not a permanent thing it will take some time for your own armor to come back up so what I recommend you do is if you do get hit by that to constantly Retreat and just try

And Escape getting around the battlefield until the effects have worn off if you watch up here in the top right corner while I’ve got this battle going you’ll see that the effects will start to start uh slowly a fade away and you’ll have different stages of armor

Loss that will restore on your person that one aside it’s just a bunch of big showy attacks that where it will uh try jumping in the air and landing on you it will then uh also do like sword stab into the ground it will do a ground

Pound all of which you’ve seen before on previous ones where they do damage to you maybe even push you around a bit in the process this can be very detrimental if you’ve got large open cracks in the floor if you do fall into one I recommend you kind of try aiming for one

Of these locations here uh to just try and get yourself out it’s one of the easier areas to see because if you fall into one of these crevices and you you aim for something that isn’t a doorway if you using tial claws then you may end up pulling yourself out and landing in

The lava pit that then forms around the edge of this that is not at the entrances so that is uh something to think about there but if you don’t have if you don’t have those you could always try just mining your way out with a void

Forge it’s always good to have one with you anyway it’s a good default weapon uh and if you do get stabbed you can always fight back you can damage them at the same time and it’s something that I I have often done in return it’s like well

If I’m going to get hit I might as well you know do a big hit back in return now of course this guy being a fiery piece of armor is immune to all fire attacks so having any kind of fire attacks on your Weaponry is going to be useless

They will also shoot Fireballs at you uh some of which are orange other ones might be purple purple ones can actually be deflected back at them and you might think oh well this is the the strategy I need to do is hit these these purple Fireballs back at them and it does

Massive Buco damage no no it it does the most minimal of minimal damage there is and quite often while that purple Fireball is coming at you so is this boss because it’s often the last Fireball so I don’t recommend bouncing those back at all I mean you can if you

Absolutely need to or it’s convenient for you to do so but that’s so rare and as before if you really want to you can always be cheeky and as soon as they spawn in toss a poison potion at them and and uh run away and that’ll get you

A little bit of free damage in there but just remember that anytime that it takes damage from the poison um you can’t be hitting it at that moment because it will then end up uh like off it’s got damage immunity at the moment that it takes that like when it whenever it’s

Red you can’t do any damage to it unless of course you’re using a meat grinder weapon or something like that so that being said um I’m going to drink my fire resistance potion eat my first Apple that I would normally have spawned in here with and we’re going to start this

Battle and I usually started off with a cluster bomb and running around uh it’s pretty much just going to be standard he’s going to try and bring me close to him and I’m going to try and get away from him while he shoots Fireballs at me

And and if you see the arm go up like that it’s best to just kind of Escape now the ground hasn’t actually broken yet that usually happens after you’ve uh taken the boss down a level or two but you can see he’s landed once or twice and the ground is already cracked over

Here so just as he lands more area will be destroyed just remember to aim upwards when you launch your uh Howitzer missiles and don’t aim too high when you use your uh claws or else you’ll your windup will take too long uh to get to that location just go with the small

Quick Speedy grabs that you can and don’t try and overstay you’re welcome if you see him coming at you just get the heck out of there oh here we go he’s hit me so I’m just running I’ve lost all my armor so this is a good time to just

Constantly keep running around the arena watching at the top there you see the effects slowly wearing off and my armor will start to come back and I’ve fallen in one of those little pits so I can grab pull myself out having feather falling on my armor

Is definitely going to help me out with just trying to survive that yes there is a lot of running in this but sometimes it is just better to run and survive than it is not to another strategy of course is to land your uh howitzers where he’s Landing if you’re being

Stomped on you might as well take advantage of that when the Fireballs are coming at you that’s usually a really good time to uh start eating your apples um as you take some damage from it but at least he’s not coming at you and you know he’s not stabbing you with his

Sword it also doesn’t hurt to aim a little bit to the left so that you can make sure that if you do end up hitting the guy and getting around his shield oh he hit me again with it that you can at least do something uh

To to get around the shield see that Shield it just blocked the attack entirely and you can see every time he hits me like that he’s regained his health so I’ve paused the so you can see that the areas he’s been Landing they will start breaking up and leaving large

Cracks in the ground this is the area that I recommend if you die come back with an invisibility potion while naked and fill in these cracks so that you can make your battle that much easier he’ll ignore you as long as you don’t do damage to him or have any kind of armor

On so another strategy that you might want to use is actually using the title claws offensively so while you can use these like this you can also attack him now it doesn’t do very much damage at all but sometimes doing a little bit of damage when you’re just

Nearby can be helpful but if you notice when I’m over here I’m not doing any damage to it there are certain circumstances and distances that you’ll have to respect before you’ll actually be able to do any damage to this guy so yeah now the primary strategy is actually going to be

Involved using your shield and watching your opponent as much as possible and remember try not to block unless you see that then you can get your own attack in he’ll break your he’ll give you a shield break but at least you won’t be uh using losing your armor to uh benefit him like

That and then you just need to try and Escape of course your claws can very much help you with that just be aware he’s going to then just follow you and there we have it just by doing a little bit of extra damage you can see

He went down to a low enough level to drop to the next level which means he gets more attacks and is actually more dangerous in this one the second stage is probably the one that you don’t want the most um as much as it is beneficial

Cuz if he stabs you as well uh he just becomes more aggressive still keeps the shield has more abilities and can heal himself back up to full at this stage as well just keep up with your previous strategies of trying to avoid falling into pits doing damage as often as

Possible uh avoiding his attacks where you can and trying to do damage if at all possible and as always trying to face back around just in time to avoid being stabbed and having your armor drained to refill his health and there we have it he loses his

Shield which makes him prone to attacks from range so you can do all manner of different ranged attacks at this point but he also picks up the frequency with which he attacks you so it’s going to be a catch 22 on this one and this is his

Special attack the you really want to avoid uh it will consist of setting up a huge area of fire and yeah you don’t want to be caught in that it will do massive amounts of damage and if you can get a direct hit with one of your uh

Howitzers and then have him sit there in that wither field for a while it’s especially effective and can do a lot of damage like now is a really good opportunity to launch down one of those and have him just take a bunch of damage while he’s sitting there in that that wither

Field and there we go sometimes you just need a good combo of some damage and you’ll have completed the mission your reward in this case is going to be three ignitium ingots I haven’t been able to get more from that but it is really nice

Uh in this case I also got myself a music disc that’s always a possibility for just about any of these bosses of getting a music disc as an additional drop for their battle music and with that done you get access to a whole bunch of ignitium gear that you can wear

As well as uh well attack with if you decide to go for this ignitium boss uh before the last one as I was recommending or suggesting then you will have access to a ton of stuff that will make you extremely powerful uh to give you an example the Monstrous Helm gives

You three armor three toughness and one knockback resistance this gives you 5 four and 1 and A2 the rest of the armor is incredibly powerful as well so let’s switch this out thus giving you a ton of armor and armor toughness this can then make the rest of the bosses if you

Decide to go for them after fighting this guy a lot easier to face uh it also gives you some special abilities the ignitium chest plate can be combined with an elytra uh thus making it a much prettier effect as you can see here with with a little bit of an elytra

Action on there it’s also kind of like themed in the same way the ignitium boots give you lava Walker allowing you to just kind of run across lava as before and you can see with the helmet that Vision that you now have so you can actually see through the lava uh as if

It were just kind of like a nice translucent water and last but not least the uh flame Reflex on your leggings will ignite enemies that attack you let’s not forget you also come with a shield that you could potentially make each of these will require idum you’ll

Probably have to face the boss multiple times so good luck with that just make sure to use some burning ashes on that alter and you can always fight another one but the bullwark of flame if you well as it says here release while sneaking to charge forward and damage

Entities in front if the target hits a wall it will receive extra damage and be temporarily stunned I can sneak hold this and charge forward now if I’m actually aiming at an enemy when I do that and it’s not on a cool down I can then hit an enemy and knock them asunder

On top of that it can be combined in the mechanical Fusion Anvil with the gauntlet of guard to make the gauntlet of bullbar which can also be pretty useful as well that one there of course it is a fist type weapon and if you hold right click you will then start giving

The burning brand effect on enemies where you had it before kind of uh uh giving them an armor reduction but also you’ll charge forward when you release it and doing similar stuff as before okay yeah so just be a little bit more careful lava is still really hot and

You’re not going to be able to actually dive into it without a fire resistance and last but not least not the shield but the sword this thing is quite effective it besides being absolutely mosive and very large uh you then gain some new special abilities it’s also

Very damaging with 14 attack speed and 1 point or 1 point2 attack speed and 14 damage as it says here holding right click for 3 seconds to charge and when released it summons a flame strike in the direction you’re facing warning items may be lost when the flame strike

Explodes so you do have to use this with caution don’t use it in your base and you may end up using it to great effect and once you hear that flame sound you can then release your Tower of flame I don’t know wall of flame

Whatever you want to call it and do a bit of damage in a a line effect there is quite a cool down on it when compared to some of the other weapons but it is really fun to use something like this nonetheless just be aware that it only
