EPIC Medieval Minecraft Modpack Testing!

Hello decided i’d go live tonight like i said i wanted to start uh adding some minecraft mod pack testing into this it’s a little unstable so hopefully it’ll stay up this pack is a habit of crashing when i try to alt tab out but we’ll see

Let me just uh send out my little promotions twitter and you and discord and all that stuff and then i’ll jump into the pack so to so so so man sometimes it can take a little while because each one needs to be a little more personalized right but you use out on uh

Twitter isn’t quite what you want to post in discord and depending on which discord you’re posting to you need to phrase it a little differently or say certain things that are important to people or whatever i think that covers everything yeah that should be all of them see oh yeah one last thing

Bunch of different mod packs to see which ones feel like they’d be the most fun to play with friends all right i don’t really care about giving this world a name or a seed or anything like that right now it’s just test stream this one’s a pretty like

Standard normal world pack not a sky block or anything weird like that it’s a medieval style so it uses like resource pack and texture and all that sort of stuff to make it look a little fancier and more medieval or whatever it’s got a decent number of mods

And then it’s got one that i’m you’re really good at those emotes those all those owl ones mccree oh man all right let’s drop in hope i don’t die horribly hope it doesn’t crash on me again come on there it is ah it started in a village

You know i think that might actually be a part of this pack because i think the first time i was trying this pack out i started in a village as well come on load in the chunks let’s go oh do i have a i have a no

I don’t seem to have a vein miner in this pack still gonna steal all your guys hay oh this is one of those packs where you have to crouch or click on things in order to pick them up kill all the villagers i have no way to kill all the villagers

Right now not with these uh golems walking around and me only having a stone sword and stone shield to start the game at but i can steal everything from them like turns pretty good books might be good but i’m not really all right let’s get into the basics

First and foremost do we have a backpack yes but it’s the traveler’s backpack not my ideal let’s turn fly it uh advanced she no no no no no no no uh is it that no is it that that usually there’s a okay fine sorting search blah blah blah give mode no no no

No no supposed to be in the server cheat mode there it is off or no for creative sure for op no whatever uh arcs no idea what those are yet i’ve seen them in a couple packs sweat sweat okay the traveler’s backpack isn’t terrible it’s not the best backpack mod but it

Works pretty well i’m gonna need glass iron leather wool gold i need a decent number of things okay so i’m not gonna steal everything from the village just yet but i am taking as much of their hay as i can because i’m gonna need me some bread

And it’s much easier than starting my own farm to just steal it all from them plus hey if they’re not gonna whine then look coal chests awesome uh no no no no more wheat and bread uh all the rest of this stuff i can find later and more bread bushes onions

No i’ve already got so much bread i’m not gonna need the onions regeneration scroll wouldn’t come in handy right now they just spawn they literally spawned ore in the side of someone’s house oops oh there we go boom full stack of bread and then some see pickles don’t care about

I’ll set my spawn point take their beds i’d take up a lot of inventory space i might take one though i think i’ve got enough hay because i’ve got a full stack of bread now so i’m good excuse me trying to come through string string can be useful in early game

Backpack mod we have requires a decent number of resources i should probably start mining what tool mod do we have anyway uh tetra yes we have tetra that’s pretty good how about tinkers no no tinkers do we have the dungeons ones no kill them all just aggressively want me to murder the

Whole village spare nun pulls everyone also yes kill them oh god guys okay so it looks like the only tool let me try basic pickaxe what do we have uh aquaculture blaze gear remastered forbidden and arcanus stuff uh no no no no no no no do we have any multi-tools

No how about paxils nope all-in-one tools no looks like tetra is the tool mod that we have to work with here it’s easy enough to do but i need a tree how much money to force you to play rl craft there’s something you need to understand about how i play mod packs

Which means rl craft would be somewhat useless to watch me play and that’s i tend to do this with every modpack which may be like sacrilege to other people but i just don’t care so what those mod what those uh rules do in case you don’t know is that when i

Die i don’t lose my inventory i despise the run back i despise the whole run back to get your inventory thing in minecraft right and so i turn keep inventory on in like every mod pack i’m able to every game of minecraft that i’m able to i put to keep

Inventory on which some people may hate me for but i i hate that feature of having to run back to get your inventory when you die which would make rl craft much less aggravating it’d still be difficult i’d still die plenty and that’d be aggravating enough but it

Would be much less aggravating because i wouldn’t even bother to go back to my death point after i died first spawn bag huh oak logs apples torches let’s find these i can get started with tetra in secondly do we have a crafting table that’s portable uh ours nouveau does but that’ll take a

While to get into don’t get eaten by a dragon yeah i was the kidnap does a guy who played on a super flat world on creative and made a huge mansion made a diamond 20 dogs but yeah yeah that’s a very good way to have fun with it though do we have

Me i don’t want to fill my inventory with beds but oh well i think i’m gonna stick pretty close to the uh village for now so shouldn’t be a big problem at least till i get uh enough resources to probably get myself the first backpack so i can store a

Bunch of their stuff and steal a bunch of their stuff And some building tools don’t need that there this burn their crops not going to burn their crops that’s a waste i’m going to steal their crops and then use them to bribe them for emeralds i don’t need there’s some stone but i don’t want to try and mine it while i’m swimming

That’s just nightmarish okay i get my hands on a chunk of stone here so i can get started with all these tetra tools all right this will give me a decent start now this is how tetra works you could basically set up all your tools your own way

Uh pickaxe head on both sides sleep in the nether uh-huh yep sure it’ll totally make you invincible thanks guys good to know you’re always watching my back and have my best interests at heart guys uh axe turn that into an adzy that’ll give me an axe and shovel together basically

So that i only need the one tool by the way you’re writing your paper now yep figured as much and then i can start with the hammer heads to upgrade them because you’re gonna need to upgrade your hammers to upgrade everything else then this is already a stone sword

Should i do a shield should i do a dagger yeah Yeah uh hey no not like that because i’m just gonna change the head anyway so slot that in change the wood blade to a short blade so that way i have a dagger a knife basically to cut things your mom came in and saw you so great

Nice and cozy yep totally cozy to sleep in the nether no trouble whatsoever oh i could uh guard fuller no guard that’s a socket okay so the guards will socket and emerald do i have two levels yes i have two levels okay that gives me increased crit chance and a little more

Durability so that’s always nice i could probably do that on my dagger as well benefits of getting emeralds early i guess and that should be as much as i can do with my tools for now or as much as i need to do with my tools

For now i have my basic startups tools going rather sleeping than ever than right this to be honest so this one also does have another mod in it which is survive yeah drinking stagnant water doesn’t help too much but it means you have to deal with like thirst and temperature and things

Like that too not a big deal play minecraft normally i just have to cheat so let’s see i’m going to want to get a backpack so i’m going to want these these and this all eventually jobs plus oh yeah this one has the jobs in it

Right yeah this one has the jobs in it let’s see um builder just isn’t all that useful right now because i’m still exploring even though it gives backpacks which are nice we’ll see excavators a hoe that does multiple crops no fisherman’s rod for multiple fish at a time no

Crafting upgrade bottles when chanting curse breaker xpg no not really hunter sword and hunter’s bow no i’ve already got tetra in the pack so i don’t really need those lumberjack acts to chop an entire tree down at once yes and miner hammer to mine multiple blocks at once yes

But i’m not going to have those just yet because i’m pretty sure i have to level up first in these jobs which is a little annoying but whatever oh well don’t mind at night pretty sure you can get every single one of the jobs and all the benefits that

Come with them but you need coins of some kind and i’m not sure where to get the coins from villages or doing your jobs or whatever else could use some more stone although just in general i need to go mining and gather up some resources a little bit of iron nice

I already know that village but apparently there’s something about 400 blocks that way oops also i do love that uh that advancement title this is the way see if there’s another village oh dust devils oh they definitely seem aggressive whatever they are get out of there

Oh wait something i need to do and hopefully it doesn’t crash the game god i hope it doesn’t crash the game i completely forgot i need to actually capture the audio of the game there we go not just like randomly capturing my own desktop audio i need to actually capture

Also you guys have never actually seen my he’s missing his uh cat ears but otherwise he’s basically the same as my character in 14 or that i use pretty much anywhere else honestly Better get to the church reading house list the devil you’re a brand new burn down your village nice cactus don’t need that hitting hard Nothing too amazing from the villages so far something i might be able to find a blacksmith in one of these maybe even get some iron or gold that way so i don’t have to go mining for it myself but i guess we’ll see Some emeralds don’t need any of the seeds oh well taking this fries tastes like oh well that’s how it goes with mcdonald’s this one even have a farm okay there he is okay let’s see if we got some uh caves yeah cool i have some caves built into it here nope not interested

That is a steep drop let’s see we got down here nothing there but we do have some more stone which could be useful for my tools and stuff there we go and then oh full underground biome that’s great if i had more lights right now it’s just a monster haven yeah

Underneath me oh wow diamond leggings with unbreaking seven holy crap and diamonds and iron magma cream rabbits but lots of useful stuff uh blistering melons not bad saddle do we have the Yes we do have the cutting board all right i’m taking that saddle i can get some leather out of that in here depth strider don’t really need right now saddle golden boots could be useful in the nether at some point but i probably won’t get there during this playthrough

And these of course oh there’s the ladder leading down to a bunch of witches i’m sure All right here we go oh no no no no no no i thought you know one or two witches but nope that’s like 30. forget that That’s okay i’ll just steal everything from their house and run away they even have an enchanting table thank you Made some popcorn for this I told you it’s like yes yes you did you definitely told me don’t worry i’m not going downstairs anymore they can all fight each other down there which it sounds like they are it sounds like they poisoned each other take the books uh sugar fermented no some sugar cane

Why not i’ve already got some rabbits foot sometimes it’s useful sometimes not not really there’s nothing in this mod pack that makes good use of it magma cream might be burn the witches rims blaze gear i’m a paste magma paste i think that’s used for temperature regulation and survive the feist is smithing

Oh cool you can create your own enchantments uh no no oh bangor cream can make slime balls oh crap someone made it up only one so far though you’re dead lady Okay close that and uh seal it Let’s just wait till the poison wears off before i bother constant witch’s playing game yeah actually having a constant supply of witches could be useful but not in the early game like this but if there are spawners down there i’m definitely not gonna break them because this might be useful silly toothpaste Oh yeah i forgot there’s a basement full of monsters okay do we have any other versions of shears no iron venti no can’t do anything to uh fancy with the shears just have to use what i got all right slap that down uh grab myself some iron like some shears grab myself

Some sticks wait no we already have enough sticks So this is payback for earlier And then we slap the no not my shield game that wasn’t what i meant to do thank you slept there god there we go now i finally get myself some leather i need saddles a little bit of leather could come in handy okay so i’ve got enough

Iron i’ve got the gold i’ve got the leather i need i need sand and i’ve got enough cobblestone so sand oh yeah Can iron doors be broken down in any way no then they’re useless to me And get rid of these apples that are cluttering up my inventory first i suppose sand oh at night oh look there’s a sign that says keep clear easy way to sleep here with the basement full like that but there’s monsters outside now so that’s not ideal either well

Grab one of these so i can hopefully regenerate a little more i can’t read confirm yeah well which noises you’re making see if there’s any way to get away from these monsters far enough without spawning more down here is probably the best i’ll get yes sleep sleep faster catboy sleep faster

Did it now they can all just burn in the sunlight bye Huh and that’s why mob griefing is off dropped my shield earlier when i was messing around with the cutting board forgot to put it back on there it is holy crap what do we got bag be useful gun powder practice don’t really need that stuff right now [Laughter]

What that wolf looking one that came after me that’s another one from a different mod i think that one’s from ours maybe oh wait the reason i went out there wasn’t just to sleep so is that one this one has a messed up way that it works

If i get close enough to them them see they go bat and then come after me yeah there are new bow mods mobs okay fourteen See pretty much out of uh wood and logs and all that stuff Okay let me let’s see what do we have that we don’t need all these books are kind of annoying i really don’t need them but arrows i don’t care about right now this stick i don’t really care about right now That buys me a couple of spaces uh iron nuggets i don’t care about that’ll buy me enough room to at least get this stuff and get out of here i need some more wood in order to finish off what i’m trying to do here and unfortunately i’m in the middle of a desert

Oh do we have oh yeah we have one of those uh tree chopper mods in so actually using the lumberjack job is almost useless to me because i don’t need the uh lumberjacks uh that i don’t need i don’t need sticks either game thank you this logs all right

About use that pillar back out then just cover that hole up and get rid of that don’t need it uh actually i’m good for now i have a chunk of charcoal okay no yes that way and then oh forgot there’s one other thing i need actually no these melons you know what

Can find some sheep around there it doesn’t look like it did i oh yeah i got rid of the apples they were taking up space ooh no if kangaroos were gonna have anything it’d probably be leather i need wool emus will most likely have whatever chickens drop so feathers and eggs and stuff

Stay away from those snakes terra cotta terracotta but this is the temple so light it up a bit so i don’t get jumped from behind ah app freaking husk hey we good is there spawner around here somewhere or he just happened to spawn because of light levels well hello ow

Oh there’s the first death all the way back to the spawn point luckily keep inventories on so i don’t have to do the run back yay god i hate that so now instead i can just turn around where there’s a forest and probably some uh sheep in it jungle maybe cocoa beans

Oh here’s a poppy i will need that if i find some wool come on what’s that leaf cutter and oh it’s an anthill oh that’s definitely new uh nope these deer would have leather probably come on man need a couple of sheep that’s all i need actually honestly i only need one

Because i’ve got shears so what is that kill it and find out up bears raccoons huh a well of some kind dead tube coral an anvil even is all that it’s like this giant dead mushroom thing has an anvil in it for some reason hmm oh there’s butterflies ants bunch of stuff but

I’m literally just looking for a vanilla mob here game well hello there oh i forgot this one has a mod that lets you like move through the leaves obsidian heather oh yeah yep yep i have the survival mod on which means i shouldn’t be standing next to all this fiery stuff i’m overheating

But i definitely want this container golden apple golden helmet with life mending no thanks flint and steel could be useful but not right now oh the wilden that one turns into bone meal i don’t need that right now describe spell miners fervor nah don’t need that stuff all right let’s

Get away from all that heat oh oh crap boars this one’s pissed you want to keep playing with me boy ow yes he does want to keep playing with me jesus pork chopped really game impaled by a wild boar bacon has had its revenge oh my god oh god that name oh

You know actually now that i have a bunch of iron i should be bacon got hands yes it does a basic blade oh diamond actually yeah no i need a level three tool okay i can upgrade this one i can get this one to three hammerhead iron hammerhead iron

Now i’ve got a hammer that’s level three so now i should be able to get myself a diamond blade about the fuller Iron fuller uh grip loop Stability better durability even better durability it’s gonna use up all my iron though i can’t remember if i need it for something else so not right now this should be good enough for now and then i guess i can get the short blade as well Let’s go bard music yep Yeah diamond short blade So the short blade actually has another benefit to it if you specifically make a short one which is like stick it in the off hand if i really want to and you can actually attack with it So you can dual wield but only if you’re using a short weapon Whack If you’re completely crazy you can use it in the offhand to dual wield but honestly i think i still need a shield till i get some better armor mod pack had instruments that you could play play shanties like it’s starbound or sea of thieves some mod packs do actually i don’t

Remember if this is one of them supplementaries flew what what was that i heard a what sounded like a monster oh oh well that was really well done Sick My Okay let’s see if we can find a place where i can put this down that won’t cause a cave in Need to find a more foresty area i think it’s impossible to find sheep in the desert but i don’t think it’s very common either are you oh yeah i was also looking at um to create the flute i don’t remember if the supplementaries flute lets you do that or not

I remember i saw a mod pack recently that had a mod in it that had like instruments in it and you would like click and then tell it what what music you wanted to play but it was only ones that were like in the game or part of the mod that added it

That’s what i mean i love that stuff i think it was one of these medieval ones this one reek fantasy i think might have been the mod that did it mods yeah this one doesn’t have that one in it i think that’s the mod that added it

To one of the packs i was looking at i’ll play sea of thieves again yeah given your uh 14 name i’m not surprised that you would love to play a mod like that mhm uh i don’t quite have enough string to do this either just remembered i had a bunch of string

But not enough for what i need it was greek or i might have told you i don’t know uh you might have told me but i there’s no way i could have looked at a name like ajian and not been like yep that’s a greek thing i studied greek mythology and all that

Stuff too plus i have a uh had a grandfather step bran no actually he wasn’t technically related to us at all but the the guy that i grew up thinking of as my grandfather he was a greek man he says it right finally a man of culture uh this way probably maybe

There’s a little bit of cherokee indian in there and then everything else is um it’s like all of the usual suspects right from like western europe so it’s you know like english and irish and scottish and italian and a bunch of just everything it’s you in true bunny form

We all got the european mix don’t we yeah pretty much too bad is um the uh the cherokee that i have is from the uh the eastern band so like north carolina and stuff that area and i was i was born they use they use blood quantum if you

Know what that is to determine tribe membership and i was born literally one generation too late so i i’ve never been recognized as part of the tribe which isn’t a big deal because i live on the other side of the country but still great great great grandmother was a native american

Yeah it would have been my it would have been my great great great great great great grandparent definitely way too young and far removed for that yeah uh we’re 1 64th i believe my brother and i like to joke around that we have as much native blood in us

As our about our big toe so many greats well that was because i was i’ve never really stopped to count it out so instead what i did was started at 1 64th and every time i said great i uh halved it i don’t know if i was exactly right there

But yeah it was a while back i’m only a 64th lookie what i found using math like that your power grows mortal okay i need one white oh yeah that’s unfortunate i actually need a second red i’ll just grab your white wool since i don’t have space for sheep

I found sheep once i find another red flower i’ll be able to uh finally pick up some more stuff and i have to keep juggling my inventory and but immortal to be smited and i should assumes come and take me away oh no oh god

I sure hope no asians come and try and take me away as you shake your butt enticingly oh no there we go okay i need another chest just gecko now i should have yep everything i need there we go oh there’s quests in this pack oops yay finally

Get rid of all those books i don’t need any of that junk uh i can toss that definitely that most thirdly this has a crafting bench built into it that’s one nice feature of the adventurers uh pack finally all right now let’s get i’d like to upgrade some of this stuff

But how much can i oh wait let’s actually stick that on my back so i can use my key to open it i have one more piece of iron i have some diamonds that could be useful i could just turn them into diamond i suppose but adzy head diamond and then

My pickaxe heads there we go now no some jungle wood let’s make a real handle then bindings uh do you have any more no i’m out of diamond diamond would be the best binding for these tools put that there and everything else should be okay for right now all right

There we go finally i have some inventory space now then did i happen to pass by any no that was a death point so i think that’s yeah that’s the temple and the thing oh was there a village near there oh we do have yes we do

This is one of the big mods that i was trying to figure out if we’d actually want to even play with or not because it’s it’s the type of mod that sort of takes over your game right it like kind of defines the game you’re playing in a lot of ways so

I need to find a big open space where i want to do it this isn’t ideal i guess it doesn’t matter too much i’m only planning to test this mod for today really good damn you stupid boar what the you circled around behind me to hit me are you kidding me

Cam to start wait i need to get rid of this shield acacia no asian style birch caledonian that’s a flying ship dark oak forest incan style maybe jungle medieval birch dark oak oak spruce mesa style possibly nordic style sandstone type space wars star wars stuff now sandstone maybe let’s do incan style

Not solid so they need to be solid blocks in order for it to work okay how about here nope bunch of solid blocks missing from there as well that’s too bad fine let’s do it down here need air above all right that’s much better now i can actually just mine out some

Spots that i need to instead of having to add something i can just take away some things there is that enough i am getting into a mod that is kind of the big one of the big mods of this pack really kind of defines the way you play

The pack and so i really wanted you to be able to take a look at it because depending on which pack we go with uh this is gonna be sort of a big time sink for us the whole time right now it’s just the supply cam mine colonies

I don’t know if you’ve heard of this one before it’s all about setting up your own colony and it’s pretty slow and you have to rely on uh npcs that spawn in to like build the buildings for you and you could put like builders and miners and people to trap down trees and

You could build like a university and do a bunch of research and stuff to build even more things right but like i said this is very aggressively like oh you want to have mine colonies in your pack well then it’s going to be a mine colonies game

Kind of thing if we get into this we can kind of like build our own city with a bunch of uh npcs in it to populate it and work there and do a bunch of stuff but it’s the kind of thing that we would uh need to spend a lot of time doing

Need to be willing to dedicate a lot of your time to this because everything takes forever so here’s the town hall and there’s the build tool uh no game not that okay remove the oh my god what is this horde of monsters that spawned what the heck game ah

There’s so many of them it’s like lag spiking my game out or something oof jeez all right you know what i’m going in uh aggressive style but first now that i’m far enough away let’s go ahead and sleep and hopefully they’ll burn in the sunlight while i’m killing them too

Also the guards and the uh golem should be killing a lot of them as well i think they got him mostly good okay there we go okay now we can start getting into this more uh no not a supply camp or a ship no we need the uh where is it game

There’s the town hall so why aren’t you bringing up the oh yeah there it is town hall duh keisha i’ll do this incan style as well see so only the first couple of buildings are gonna let me do this where i just like spawn them in

Only the first couple can be spawned in after that you need to actually have like villagers building the stuff right there no there maybe yeah there game’s probably going to yell at me nope not yet because it spawned it in see so now that the town hall’s down villagers will start spawning

Create a new colony yay uh rename it this is onctopia there we go so soon the first villagers will start spawning in but they set the colony uh build option no not build uh not citizen settings worker hiring mode to manual housing assignment to manual kids will be born edit colony flag not

Right now work orders happiness cease you have to like build things to keep your villagers happy and hire them to different jobs oh look there’s our first colonist uh let me take my knife out of my right hand on my off hand for a second don’t like staying out in the rain my

Clothes are gonna blah blah blah okay number one very first thing we’re gonna need builder’s hut a door some logs build tool a door and some logs for the builder’s hut then we take the build tool back out and see so that’s the that’s the uh area of my colony basically

And this little fence here is telling me that that’s all taken up by like the the town hall i’ll put builder’s hut it doesn’t matter i don’t need to be super accurate with all this stuff right now since this is just a test one builder uh

The incan style again just for the heck of it and then move it back a bit that’ll work yay builder’s hut place now quick guide yeah make sure to check out the building pages overview the combined building inventory some buildings have extra help pages i already know how this stuff works

First and foremost we have a couple of people already here this one’s got better athletics but not as good adaptability this one’s got better adaptability but not as good athletics i think adaptability might determine how well they i don’t know i’ll hire that one and then build options build the building

Now the problem is ansel it build look at all the stuff i need to get because i need to supply them with everything they need to build so that’s the other reason why i could take a long you have to gather a bunch of different resources

And then supply them and then wait on them because often times these npcs will like take a long time to build stuff right they don’t just like get straight into it it takes them a couple seconds to mine each block basically i need the Is it clipboard yeah leather how would i have any leather left yeah i don’t have any leather left okay i’m gonna need sticks that there that there does this have one of the ones that lets me just like cook yes it does good it’ll let me just cook some rotten flesh

To make leather oh i think my uh town hall is overriding some of the supply camp oh well don’t care i’d worry more about that when we actually play the game the board no colony oh yeah set it to this colony no open requests oh yeah i know why they haven’t started

Because they hate the rain yeah oh well are you gonna shoot at me yes you are okay get my shield out wow it tosses me too great wonderful i have the storm We done okay good i got it counter a guster during a stormy day in the desert oh that’s a number of things that all just sort of worked out for me oh i think this yeah i think this modpack also has the seasons mod in it which is why it’s like

Winter even though we’re in the desert it actually changes the seasons on you from time to time Start breaking down some trees Come on break already there we go oh that’s why it took so long to break it was a giant tree It’s also not one that i really need i don’t think It’s mahogany i don’t really need that let me grab some of this dirt though so i can start planting some trees since we’re in the desert Okay do we have just normal trees around here there’s jungle Oak Is that acacia waystone nope that’s mahogany definitely taking this way stone that’ll be nice Some more oak Is that a bamboo creeper no idea what that is Let’s oh i see it’s cold out here and i’m freezing bam beeper yep pretty much i may head back for the desert i keep forgetting that i have the the mod is in here that makes you deal with like temperature and uh hydration and stuff like that

Because they seem it seems like they have the settings turned down a bit so it’s not quite as aggressive at like overheating or hyper or hypothermia as it is in some others But back into the desert Freaking zombies oh no skeleton oh shabby crusader boots better than nothing okay actually now that i have this place i should probably set my spawn point here so i’ll actually spawn back at my village if and more importantly when i die because i will okay slap down some dirt

There we go now he’s getting started on the builder’s hut now that it’s finally not raining i guess uh oak and jungle and mahogany i don’t really care about because he’s not gonna want that anyway okay he’s gonna need a shovel and need a pickaxe a shovel and possibly an axe

He’s already started mining up some sand i think you ready to work now or do you want me to do the work nope he’s working where’s he starting though oh there he is just taking his sweet time okay get to work see so when he actually needs me to give

Him something it’ll show up on the request page but he’s gonna need a bunch of stuff and more people respond in when you get the village first going four people will spawn in just four people and if any of them die another one will spawn in but beyond the initial

Four people you need to like set down taverns which will have beds in them or houses that have beds in them and then like get children basically oh yeah the way stone there we go now if i find any other way stones i’ll be able to teleport around the world

You should be getting all of these too right yeah he’s getting all the sand he picks up that’s the whole reason why you have things like um lumberjacks and miners and stuff like that that you can hire them as is so that they can start gathering their own

Resources that they need to sort of build up other parts of the village i’ll take care of it kind of a jackass move of me i guess to put my village right next to this village oh well there lost my gain sure what parts he’s uh

Taking him that long to mine each block or is he binding the ones under it or something too i don’t know i know that at one point when i was playing with a mine colonies pack on my own i ended up going into the configs and like upping how quickly the npcs do

Everything right so where it takes a person a few seconds five or six seconds to mine a block normally i went and i messed with the configs and then they were just like they’re just like pop pop pop pop pop just mining every block with like one hit

None of that when we play though yeah honestly i don’t want to be messing with a pack where i have to go in and screw with a bunch of different configs anyway i have never done like multiple person server play through before i’m going to have enough trouble trying to

Figure out all of the basics that i don’t want to try and use some modified mod pack and try and figure out how to make that work too right like i’m all down for trying to learn what i need to learn to help us set up a

Pack that we could play together but i don’t want to be trying to make my own pack or mess with the configs at all all right well he’s busy with that does half a fourth page count as four pages uh i’m willing to say yes

I’m willing to say yes on that not so sure if your teacher will say yes but what’s this one azalea yeah i don’t need that either i only really need the uh snow just as long as you finish it before it’s due that’s all i need right now

I only need the actual like default vanilla logs and stuff i don’t need a bunch of modded ones for the mine colonies okay what have we got here really are there no like chests hidden around here or anything anywhere usually that’s what you’ll find in these like weird ruined areas some terracotta

And maybe i have to mine underneath some of these bricks and things eh oh don’t want to mess with that snake it’s okay she’ll cave gotten full marks on every single essay i’ve turned in if you think she’ll cave then that sounds like it’s enough

Plus i’m the kind of person that used to use like larger fonts and longer line spacing and stuff like that whenever i had to write papers oh needs another shovel i’m gonna need something a little more aggressive than a wooden one to survive this i think

Uh do we have anything that lets me use no okay then i’ll give him a no not an iron one he’s too low level he may not even be able to use an iron shovel right now okay take that oh you can’t be doing that play eight times

I suggest the white text to make the word count longer go there i’ve had actual classmates try that stuff they just type lines of garbled nonsense in white text so that it doesn’t show up but it counts for the word count that’s pretty good i’ve been picking up

No i don’t have more rotten flesh there’s another mod i really wanted to um have in the pack that we could play with the problem is the way mod loaders work these days like there’s actually two separate um mod pack styles these days that use like

A pro a pro no not a program a code that allows you to like modify the game right and so for the longest time the only one that we were able to use in mod packs was uh forge is what they call it and so all the mod packs would be

Running on forge code basically and um but more recently not super recently but since the last time i played so probably within like a year two years ago there was a new mod loader that went out which or like code that went out which was called fabric and the problem is yeah fabric

The problem is they don’t really work together or they don’t work well together or only in some of the older versions of the game can you get them working together and so there’s a bunch of like forge and fabric uh unique mods that you just can’t put in the same pack together right

So there’s another mod series not one mod but a whole like set of mods known as origins which i really wanted to play with but they’re fabric type they’re fabric mods and there isn’t a version of 118 that lets you play with forge and fabric together as far as i know

But the origins mods was all about like starting with different origins for your characters right so when you would start the game it would ask you what you want to be like what race do you want to be or what class do you want to be and each one

Would have unique like bonuses and weaknesses things like that right so you could be like oh normal human or just like i want to be someone who’s naturally like part enderman or part you know blaze or a part iron golem or and you’d have these like benefits and uh drawbacks for

Each like race or class kind of yeah so there’s one that i really i don’t love because of the drawback to it but i really do like because one of the ones you can start as is known as uh merlin like mermaid or merman kind of right merlin

And it literally causes you to breathe water but not air so you’ll start on land like you always do in minecraft and you’ll be currently have your like breath bubbles out and they’ll be going down and you have to like run and try and find water and jump in basically

But like it lets you move around really well in the water and you can mine in the water without uh it being slow and all that sort of stuff but then you kind of have to uh if you want to like play with other people and play above

Above water on the land and do all the stuff you normally do in minecraft you have to find a method for like water breathing so that you can breathe on land instead which is a little annoying but there’s a lot of weird kind of fun ones like that which is why i really

Love uh that whole set of mods you wouldn’t you wouldn’t really be able to do anything on land because when i would start the game as a merlin i’d have to be in the water at the very beginning when you need to like punch a tree i’d have to swim around find trees

That are close to the water and then like jump out and go punch one or two logs and then jump back in the water so i don’t like suffocate right so you have to find methods of water breathing because water breathing basically becomes oxygen breathing if you’re playing that way right

Because what it does is it inverts your breath mechanic so that it works under water but not above water so if you find potions of water breathing they let you breathe above land or any method of water breathing so there’s a lot of ones like that it’s

Really interesting and so i really do like the uh the origins mods because there’s a bunch of them there’s a base one that has like this base one that has like eight or ten different origins you can start as and then there’s a bunch of additional ones

That people have done which are like add-ons to it with other origins and then one that does classes that’ll give you benefits based on what class you choose and all that and that whole set of mods is actually like really interesting but they’re all fabric so i there isn’t

A version of 118.1 that i uh have found yet that lets you do fabric and forge together i think so if all of your friends win it too and you all have to try and do together yeah i did do one pack at one point where i

Had origins and i was playing merling and uh i also had a mod called prefab in that pack which has all these like prefab structures you like you craft some things together and it gives you like oh here’s your starter house right that’s something you can just place

And it would just create a structure for you and then i created one like underwater that was designed as a submerged structure with like glass and a moon pool and everything and then right because it could be fun but the thing is if if we’re in a situation where we need to

Like choose between fabric or forge i think forge is the way to go because i feel like there’s there’s more stuff on forge than there is on fabric and more of the like big mods that a lot of people like to play with are on forge why are we not

Is he i know oh cause it’s raining again there’s more on forge and it’s been around yeah yeah forge has been around longer so when it comes to it most of the like established mod creators tend to build their stuff for forge and then also build like a fabric version maybe

The other types of mod packs that i’ve been looking at because this is like this sort of fantasy one it’s got a handful of mods there’s not a ton of stuff it’s got mine colonies it’s got a bunch of stuff that could keep us like entertained for a while

Some of the other types of packs i’ve been looking at are like a kitchen sink pack which just has a bunch of like all the well-known mods and you just sort of slap them together and it’s like here do whatever you want kind of thing which would be good if you guys just

Want to see like a bunch of different mods and how they work and learn a bunch how a bunch of different mods function and what all kinds of stuff you can do with them and then i’ve also been looking at some skybox packs you just start on like one block or a

Tree or something and you have to build it all out is it finally getting dark so i can actually sleep now no still not great he still doesn’t need anything yet let me look through the mods again i played on a world with both twilight

Forest and ether i swear to god i went to the ether and it was awful well yeah if you went to the ether unprepared uh it could be tough lagging so bad that you move a single frame like every five minutes oh yeah the game wouldn’t close see what all we’ve got

Authiosis aquaculture i could get into some fishing if i really want to our’s nouveau no i’d need more iron to get started on that animals mons third person blah blah blaze gear loose guys is new i haven’t played much of blue skies so i don’t really know about that

Fishing for julie yeah aquaculture’s got a ton of stuff companion trolley convenient curios to store your trinkets oh so it’s probably like britannia probably adds a box that you can store trinkets in wood cutter craft tweaker ornamental stuff booze placeable beer mug and drink it easy magic chanting tables as they always should

Have been item stay after closing and easy re-rolls huh it’s pretty nice i’ve played with that one before oh and remastered probably i’ve never remastered in here too then knights armor a bunch of the ftb stuff oh yeah i forgot we have ftp quests in the pack i

Haven’t even bothered to look at them yet farmer’s delight so that’ll be all the farming and cooking stuff oral fair forbidden in arcanus has only a few things not a big goblin traders hoppers guard villagers hex array magic exploration and storage but played with hexaray yet inventory high item filters

Jobs journey map uh lava sponge legendary tool tips loot beams cause bridges axolotls multi-piston is a nature’s compass that’s always nice to have passable foliage yeah it’s easy enough Revamped wolf huh salem this one doesn’t even have a description probably a magic mod of some kind but who knows oh no actually i think salem is a is an enemy mob mod i remember oh simple storage networks oh that’d be nice stone home that’s underground villages soaring structures that’s all the ones

In the sky survive of course tetra bumble zone that’s the b dimension i believe yeah the b bass dimension functional and useful vanilla plus blocks uh graveyard toast control trading posts travelers backpacks treasure bags there is vein mining it’s probably that one that requires you to enchant your tool with vein mining

Just to get it to work that’s always annoying visual workbench void totem dungeons arise so i think that’s adding more dungeons to the game medieval music mode bottle just fell off a shelf and nearly bonked me on the head jesus careful jj okay now it’s getting to night time to

Know how to find him though let’s just slap that down somewhere basically that torch will keep mobs from spawning within a certain radius is always nice i can see why they give it to you on the same one that rewards you with the supply camp to get started on mine colonies right

So you just slap that down in your colony and have a big wide radius where mobs aren’t going to spawn and mess with you what do you need yep another shovel instead of opening his inventory come on tree what the heck was that is that a creeper

It just went off on him while he was building or something spruce that okay cool that’ll let me get more pieces upgraded i’ll take care of it stick some of this stuff down here so i can keep track of where it all is stuff that i’ll actually use okay efficiency durability dig efficiency

Speed durability definitely durability uh tool but we’ll upgrade that to iron and we’ll upgrade the handle choose some oh yeah because that is my axe so i can’t be messing with that part oh well and then rip loop that one is increases reach yeah that’s the one i want man let’s see

Crate and kill a warped moscow feed a warped mosquito among us you okay okay i can’t even like be in the nether because of survive maybe that’s what the rest of the uh over world uh quests were was to build up to like building yourself a cooling unit you survive you mind game

Apparently you do couldn’t stand the heat uh whatever humongous dump a bunch of this stuff in that too got lucky blue journal walden camara no doesn’t seem like it i’m going to survive okay definitely i can’t team but i need more leather ice cubes wool no where’s the regulators heat resistance dragon’s breath

No splash potion no okay so you can’t make potions of cold resistance that’s wonderful ice ice cubes ice frozen no nope nope nope frost stalker nope none of that’s it there’s supposed to be like lining and stuff you could use i just have to find a way to uh deal

With the heat in the nether i guess stiffened honey no that’s armor but it doesn’t provide cool this wool will bring up your heat or does it because it is ice and honey maybe that’s how you’re supposed to do it stiffened honey ice and honey together let’s see if that chills oh

Looks like a winter has passed that’s gonna go mine it there but now that it’s not winter getting ice is gonna be much more difficult oh well let me see and the conjurer name source category no no source maybe what is the conjurer even added from the conjurer mod okay so is there

Is there an actual area added by the conjurer mod or does he just spawn wherever x-ray minecraft bumble zone terralith it’s just a a biome generation one terra lith stuff let’s get past terra lith okay yeah i didn’t expect it would so i’m not sure where the conjurer would spawn maybe

Probably some place where you’d find uh illagers and like the no because that’s not a biome you need to find a map to lead you to like the illager uh building or whatever okay 25 dirt turn these into normal dirt game no okay there grass blocks normal dirt osmosis moss grass

Am i doing yeah that should be enough thank you wanted 24 blocks there it is yep 25. what’s that oh yeah there’s ice still here i mean it’s not much but it’s definitely not enough at least there’s some there you go 24 blocks of dirt 25 blocks of dirt now get to work

What would make my job easier if i had a furnace hey there’s a furnace right over here dude actually i still have one yes i do still have one right there there you go furnace uh these trees are connected it’s gonna be a big clearing out not too much

The jungle wait really oh cause i took out all of the yeah it took out all the leaves above so it doesn’t recognize it as a tree you mind you’re standing right in my face dude so all right coming up it’s your goal okay skip that much easier if i had cobblestone slabs

Okay that i can work on or did you want me to actually like hand it to you slabs cobblestone crafting table rack okay bunch of stuff slabs cobble let me grab one of these racks for you because i don’t care about keeping them here why was everything in that one that’s good enough

There we go guys finally finishing it up or hopefully finishing it up see jj that’s what i’m talking about how this will basically take up the this will basically become like the focal point of the playthrough if we play with it and it can be tedious at some points but

It can also be a lot of fun sort of building up the entire city these guys are so demanding yes yes they are so it becomes a whole system right i’m building the builder now and there’s the town hall and then i can put down like a lumberjack and okay well the

Lumberjack will start providing the wood that these people need right and put down a miner well they’re gonna first need to dig out the whole area in order to get deep enough so you’re gonna get a lot of garbage from a miner first and foremost like i’d get a bunch

Of sand and cobble and stuff like that but eventually they’ll get down to where they’re able to get like iron and diamonds and all that sort of stuff eventually but you need to upgrade them a bit first before they can even mine that stuff and they’ll start providing resources

But you need to have like a warehouse and delivery men which will run around sort of gathering the resources from the various huts and then delivering it to the other ones that need it right so it’s a very long process but can be a

Lot of fun to just sort of build a city out of nothing and just sort of decide where you want to put things and then put down taverns and watch people sort of growing and then having kids and the kids grow up and then they can work at different jobs and stuff tada

Build a builder building so now he’s got his level one builder hut and then if i really wanted to i can upgrade it like every single building 800 episode long 2012 mc let’s plays exactly uh like every single building in mine colonies has like five levels as well

So i can upgrade the builder and that’ll give him like more recipes he can learn and more structures he can build and stuff like that right but all right i have been going for three hours though tonight so i’m probably gonna go ahead and stop it here oh wow
