Hello and welcome everyone my name is QB in today’s video we’re taking a look at how to build a fully hidden fireplace secrets entrance let’s take a look at how it works we are currently in a demo room that I’ve quickly whipped up we can obviously see a fireplace sitting here In front of us there are no visible levers or switches that indicate a secret entrance but there is one nonetheless firstly being the creator of this house we know that there’s a secret entrance behind the fireplace to begin with and how to operate it the opening mechanism Is triggered by a key in our case being a redstone torch placing the torch on one of these blocks on the ground will trigger the entrance to initiate our open sesame’ the redstone machine will immediately give us back our key and we can now walk on through at our own Leisure inside the hall a a button is provided so we have the choice to close the entrance up again which will reignite the fireplace so the other side is completely normal again we can of course design any room or series of rooms that we like behind the secret Entrance and have it serve whichever purpose we wish whether it be a storage room for valuable items a secret bedroom or underground hideout it’s completely your choice exiting the room is just as easy we simply press the button again near the entrance and the wall will open up for our exit To conceal the fireplace entrance once again we simply place our K down on the secret spot again and it reverts back to becoming a normal fireplace alternatively if you wish the close the fireplace entrance with the button instead it’s well within reach for you if you prefer that method and if you’d Like your key to be a piece of redstone instead then that works perfectly fine as well so without any further ado let’s build one of these for ourselves if you’re planning to build this contraption initially its ground level then I suggest making a hole in the ground ten blocks wide 15 blocks long And six blocks deep this should give you enough room to maneuver around and build a machine for the sake of them instruction I’ll be building everything clearly above ground our first job is to lay out the foundations for our redstone I’ll be using four different colors of Wool for the purpose of clarity but you can choose whichever blocks you please as I place in the foundations watch carefully and follow along this red wall block here will be where our hallways filter button will go make sure you include this now with our foundations complete it’s now time to Build the course structure for the fireplace follow along as I make a start on the floor I highly recommend using slabs for your flooring this gap is the position where LK trigger will be leave this open for now now to make a start on the wall of our fireplace remember you can substitute These blocks for a different texture if you wish the wall is finished and time for the hallway again watch closely and follow along finish off with some more flooring for the hallway now it’s time for the redstone starts off by placing down these redstone repeaters making sure you face in the Same direction as I do if each of these repeaters a full delay clicking H 3 times do the exact same for this side to throw in these 2 redstone lamps as displayed down here place a single block of redstone and follow where I run the redstone circuitry the mechanism cants operates without the Use of pistons and sticky pistons what’s very carefully where I placed the men and the direction I faced them now for the last portion of our mechanism observers and dispensers again watch very carefully where and how I place each block you can double check which direction the observers face by Checking the arrow on the sides of the observer almost done we now just need some finishing touches start by filling up both dispensers with as many fire charges as you can this will be your fuel for the fireplace so make sure you refill these when they’re running low on Top of each dispenser place down some netherrack or any block that holds a persistent fire then simply light the fireplace manually to put it into it’s ready state once you’ve memorized where your secret trigger position is go ahead and fill it in you’ll notice this triggers your fireplace to open up the Entrance go ahead and add in the final two floor blocks for your hallway and test the seat of the machine works from the button make sure to run some final tests to ensure the machine is working as intended if you’re experiencing any problems please refer to the steps Correctly performed in this tutorial you may also switch up the red wall block which holds the button with any block you’d prefer doing this waiting to activate the machine your secret fireplace entrance is now ready for you to boost its visual appeal the dimensions I’ve left for you allows you To expand and create a design and theme that suits your likings so feel free to make a start on this at any time so your rooms and fireplace is unique and made to your preferences a huge thanks to one of my very talented team members lysis for helping design this wonderful Contraption if you’re keen to see more redstone tutorials like this my channel holds a pretty large variety including house tutorials too so I welcome any newcomers with open arms to come visit but for now we’re at the end of this video until next time guys goodbye you Video Information
