Gaming On Caffeine – FTB Mage Quest – First Look – New FTB 1.7.10 Mod Pack!!!

Hello everybody and welcome back to given on caffeine my name is Isaac and today is a very exciting day indeed today is the day that I’ve been waiting for for such a long time this is the very first day that feed the beast have started to release their feed the beast

1.7.10 modpack starting with feed the beast mage quest the one that we’re playing right now there’s also feed the beast I believe light is the other one they’ve released as well both of these are kind of pseudo sequels to magic well to and feed the beast like on 1.6.4 for now

This one is a pretty core pack and all of the it’s in alpha I’m gonna put that out there straight away it’s in outfits in early alpha not everything’s in yet not everything’s solid and everything I do in the series from now until they actually bring it out of alpha mega

Deleted make it change made disappear into the wilderness but but it looks pretty cool you may have noticed from the name that it is a quest it said mage quest and you guessed right it does have the hardcore questing mod in it or should I say it’s planned to have the

Hardcore questing mode in it if you follow Jade cat on Twitter you’d notice that and they are intending to put the hardcore questing mod into most of the feed the beast mod packs I don’t think that they’re all going to be majorly quest driven like packs like crash-landing and agrarian skies I think

The more just to kind of help you out with the mods if you don’t know what you’re doing or to introduce you to sort of the mods that you maybe haven’t played with before so yeah they haven’t got the question just yet like Satan alpha they’ll be coming I believe in

Bitter the quests were to be yeah this is the magic pack there’s absolutely no tech in this pack nurses for the the majors inside of all of you and that it’s the first one released I believe the tech pack will hopefully released be released sometime soon and the light

Packer said is already out and I’m assuming there will be a crash there we go no I’m fine no fear another flagship pack like feed beasts monster or something like feed the beast Horizons hopefully coming at some time in the near future as well sure I think without further ado we should probably

Get started so we’ll go ourselves a crafting table because it’s just you know it’s minecraft here we go and do we have tinker’s we do not of course it’s it’s magic we forget tech we have magic and apparently plants as well we have all these beautiful

To run at the the all the mods by the the cough car team which a thermal expansion manufacturer we loaded etc etc but we don’t have thermal expansion we have thaumcraft of course we’ve got farming tinkerer we’ve gear flipping blood magic we’ve got all sorts of Mobius called green

Thumb so yeah a little bit of farming in here as well and brewing betánia as we said earlier we’ve got a lot of stuff there’ll be a full weather willow as well and we’ll a harvest ability will there be a full list in the in the

Start this off as you would any other series and just a dig straight down that’s a little bit too loud gonna bum that down just a wee bit and we are going to go ahead and find mine some stuffs so I think sort of early on we’re

Gonna kind of want to focus I think on some farm craft some blood magic and quite possibly what else do we have I’m just trying to find the big ones your necromancy from that was in attack of the beating that was really fun you can sort of put together your own mobs I

Think it’s the same the same one if I go to necromancy yeah it is look at that this is really funny you can sort of stitch together your own custom like minion almost it’s like a mixture of all the different odds it that’s really cool

Actually let me I’m gonna see if we can find anything I’m gonna have a look around actually before I start going and just digging straight down for for gems and rubies and stuff and I want to go see what we can find if you want to be able to get into em

Farm craft anytime soon we’re gonna want to get a thumb nomicon which means we’re kind of going to need some paper and some leather and some iron not that hard actually we might build you up fairly easily however blood-magic would be a little bit harder to get into because

Blood-magic would require us to grab some diamonds we need a diamond to make the altar so but Magic’s a little further although I do really like blood magic it’s probably something we should look into pumpkins always nice we make some pumpkin pie and then that’s even made pumpkin pie I’m gonna be honest

Looking at blood adventure tweaks as always jabo is nice just in the barrel attempt is a it’s always a good one to have I do like Jabba at talismans okay super Chuck super crafting trim alright I guess so why not and brain calm spot brain toys baggies back what Baggins

Bagginses that I’m not quite sure that says it I thought it’s a bagginess but it doesn’t we got Archmage’s Magus make out Ark may just Archmage just I’m not too sure there were a lot of mods on here that I have never seen before so I am completely out of my element with

What set wants to come with this thing and in all honesty I’m not really a huge magic person I usually play most of the tech stuff most of the tech mods focus on some of the techy stuff in most of the big mod packs so I felt like a nice

Little change of pace play with some place for magic for a change this is this is the best the best place to start basis it’s not a couple so it looks a bit off might be me you can go away did he flip an eagle being useless these Eagles actually

Really nice I think because I usually something that we use quite a lot there usually for ink and quills of stuff in thorn packed but I never never ever seem to be able to find an hours well I could be quite useful yeah these here these scribing tools

Of thaumcraft because what we gonna need we’re getting a bookshelf which i believe is some wood and three books yeah so we’re gonna need yeah at least nine piece of paper and three leather so prob about three cows and and what’s that nine pieces of sugar cave as well

So quite a lot of sugarcane actually might start a little bit of a sugarcane farm i wonder actually real quick let’s check if there is the the rotten flesh to leather model something equivalent we can change some be brains into leather but we have to do it through and through

Blood magic so that could be a bit of a challenge especially right now so what i think i’m gonna do guys is I’m gonna go with I’m gonna go try and find myself some some sugarcane I think I might find a bit more look somewhere near the I

What I’ll probably do between episodes guys is go ahead and mind some stuff up so you have to watch your mind for like the next episode entirely and yeah we’re getting to some couple of magical changes we call farm craft and some call everything else in feed the beast a mage
