Hey guys Prophet Pablo here Spanish teacher turns Minecraft engineer forgive my voice during this video I’m a little under the weather here let me try something real quick nope still under the weather guys thank you for your patience as I’ve been sick had a cold been dealing with baby I’m Trying to get back on schedule I feel like I’m doing a pretty good job but today we are going to do something super important a video that I haven’t updated in a long time and that is how to find another Fortress if you stick around to The end I’ll also show you how to find an in-city no pun intended enough Chit Chat let’s get going but before we get going I’d like to give a shout out to dark meteor YT he did the supply list for our no Redstone kelp Farm which happens to be right over there thanks Dark meteor thanks Stark meteor for helping out with the channel I really really appreciate it everybody go check out his channel alright now let’s get going so before we go explore the nether we need to talk about Minecraft maps just a little bit before I do that I need to Show my coordinates because otherwise this system will not work there we go show coordinates good in Minecraft you have three coordinates your X your Y and your Z the first coordinate X means that you’re going either East or West it depends if you’re going east you’re actually going In a more positive direction if you go west you’re making your number smaller or taking it more negative the Y number is pretty easy to follow that’s vertical so the higher you go that number goes up and as you go down it drops down and this all may seem good And well and easy to follow so far after all it kind of feels like a coordinate plane in math so let’s pretend that I have a coordinate plane here so if you’ve taken any kind of middle school math and Beyond you’ve probably seen the coordinate plane you can kind of look at This cross as that this point here would be zero zero and if we go more this way obviously our number gets more positive more this way it gets more negative but where it gets confusing is when we head north now on a normal plane when we head north Our last number should be getting bigger but it doesn’t in Minecraft it actually gets smaller that’s because video games run on kind of a different system and if you’re looking at a 2d window of a video game which I’m going to make real quick there we go if you’re looking at a 2d Window of a video game let’s pretend that this is zero zero on our cross the X number actually gets more positive as you go further down the window so that’s why in Minecraft when you go north you’re actually going negative now that shouldn’t matter in the nether but the Only reason that gets confusing is sometimes you’ll be turning a certain direction thinking that you’re going positive when actually you’re going negative that’s because Minecraft coordinates are extremely confusing so just be aware of that as we go to the nether all right let’s go watch this be one of the seeds where I Just like pop in and uh automatically go to the Nether and there’s like another Fortress right there okay so we’re gonna go inside the nether the first thing we want to do is find the coordinates 0 32 and 0. that means we’re going 32 so I’m going to have to travel hold On there we go this way there’s zero there we go so right here oh it’s right on a tree and I want to go all the way down oh and you got to be careful the reason we chose 32 is because it’s right where lava lake spawn so if you Fall in we’re going to be building bridges and we can easily get back up you want to go ahead and take your settings of your game and as much as your console or PC or phone will manage you want to go over to the video section and you want to turn up The render distance as high as it will go because you want to make sure that you can see as far away as possible now I’m on my phone right now I like to play mobile and uh yeah you can’t see that far if I were on a PC I could see much Much further and then what I like to do is if I have plenty of cobblestone I’ll build bridges of cobblestone going in different directions and we are going to systematically explore the nether while we do this we’re going to be able to find quite a few different biomes and Eventually we will definitely did you guys see that and eventually we will definitely find another Fortress now inevitably I usually don’t have enough Cobblestone so I usually start with Netherrack because I have plenty of that from exploring a little bit the Nether and then I go back and I change These Bridges to be bigger and I change them to Cobblestone so the gas don’t destroy them okay I am in Creative so that this tutorial goes a little faster uh what we’re going to do let’s take our first number and we’re going to make it more positive And we’re going to go to positive and you can pick a number we’re just going to go to positive 100. I used to do it in increments of 250. there’s no magic number there it’s just whatever you want but we’ll do 100 so we’re going to make This first number go up to positive 100. again you’re going to be building a bridge so that you can get back to the middle whenever you want and then when you get to a wall you simply oh uh don’t die you have to be careful with the lava pockets Uh but you simply dig staying on that middle coordinate of 32. okay and every time you come to an open space be sure and look around I don’t see anything yet and I’m already on coordinate 100 now what I’m going to do take a right that’s going to take me into more Positive direction and I’m going to go all the way to coordinate 100 again again every time you get to an open area you want to come up kind of look around see if you missed anything no nothing yet it’s pretty safe this way too because nothing can attack you from behind if They do you just throw down a block and then they can’t get to you the only dangerous part is when you’re building over Lava Lakes sometimes the gas knock you off but as long as you have food with you you’re usually fine to just hop back on your platform foreign So now we’re going to take a right again we’re heading back this way okay now I’ve actually made it back to coordinate zero So what I like to do is connect back to my original point and I’m going to head back towards zero zero now okay I made it back to my point zero zero now I have a whole quadrant of my first 100 blocks in the nether explored And now I get to pick another one so now we’re gonna go this way this is actually more North okay emitted to negative 100 we’re looking around I don’t see much okay and we’re gonna head up this way explore this quadrant okay made it to 100 I’m turning right And going to connect this back to the other path made it back to my original path exploring another quadrant of the nether I got two more quadrants to go just come back to my middle and start exploring those I will see you guys in just a second I’m Going to explore I’ll let you know if anything interesting comes up now we haven’t found our nether fortress yet but I will show you this we have found a warped Forest we found a Crimson Forest already so we’re already finding all the resources that we need over here In the nether you need all these biomes for different reasons so it’s really important to explore the nether this way okay that was another quadrant one more to go now we’ve actually already explored the four quadrants uh within 100 blocks of our middle zero zero and we haven’t Found anything and that’s okay that’s usually how it goes and if I’m being honest guys I mean I’ve done this where I’ve done it in increments of 250 and found one pretty quickly or I’ve been in Worlds where I’ve gone thousands of blocks and haven’t found anything those Are really unlucky Worlds by the way but this system usually works really really well so we’re going to stick with it with this world I haven’t pre-mapped this world I’m not using the locate structure code which is a cheaters way of doing it so what you do now is you Take your cross and we’re going to continue to expand our cross so we’ll expand it going further south this way and we’re going to go until 250 this time I like going in increments of 250 after the initial 100. so that means going 250 then 500 750 you get the point Okay once you reach to 250 same thing start connecting the different quadrants we’ve got our Basalt and Delta going on my least favorite biome okay once you get to like at 250 250 Mark or negative 250 250 you need to start making your way back to zero zero always checking your surroundings making Sure you’re not missing anything oh another hint is turn up the brightness uh that helps you see in another without even having to use torches okay and this is why it’s always important to look at your surroundings wait for things to load take your time because if you can see in the distance We have another Fortress so then you just kind of come off your axis your paths build all the way over and there you go we have another Fortress and then the question will be will this another Fortress have Nether Warts which we want or a blaze spawner all that good stuff If not we’ll start our search again and look for another one all right and as promised let’s go look for in cities now that we found another Fortress all right since I don’t want to go looking for it let’s build our end portal you guys already know how to find these Using the eyes of injure I’m assuming and to find an in City obviously the first thing that you need to do is defeat the Ender Dragon let’s do that real quick so easy to defeat then we go over to our little portal thingy come on through And usually there’s not a city right out of the gate but we got lucky in the wrist and that’s okay we’re actually going to look for another one even though this city looks awesome so what I like to do to find a city is Right Out of My Portal I’ll build up Using Netherrack remember all that Netherrack you just got 100 blocks and that gives you a good view of your surroundings you could go higher to 150. doesn’t seem to make a difference and you’ll want to leave like some water down at the bottom so that you can jump Down from the top without dying because you want to leave this as a landmark to where you’ve been what you do is you kind of explore a little bit stick to One Direction one coordinate that you are changing there’s plenty of Interpol so you throw an injured Pearl to the next Island and Once you’ve hopped over to this island you go ahead and build up your pillar again I’m gonna build up to coordinate 125. take a look around again we’re trying to stay on the relative same direction throw a pearl to your next Island And build up again and you’re still looking around and again I find this best way is just stay in One Direction and you can put a pillar on every island if you want you don’t have to as long as you can see your pillar that you’ve already been on you’re good once that’s Out of sight you kind of lose direction so you don’t want to lose sight of that pillar when that one’s starting to go out of view go ahead and build another one after coming so far we eventually have a city with the ship and once you have your elytra you can Just look for your towers and follow them all the way back home well I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial I’m profe Pablo and as always thanks for watching Video Information
