Hello youtube i’m matt video productions and welcome back to another video today’s tutorial is how to find villages the fastest and best way possible for both bedrock and java versions of minecraft i am making this tutorial because i was looking back at my old tutorials and some other people’s Tutorials and i just thought there were some things that i could change to make this tutorial even better for you guys starting off this video has two sections the bedrock section for bedrock edition and the java section for java edition so the time displayed on screen right now Is for the java tutorial so you can skip to that if you want but for right now we are starting on the bedrock version of minecraft i have a few different strategies for finding villages in minecraft this first one is the least unique solution so you’re just in your Survival minecraft world with your uh house right here with very good building taste of course so yes i woke up one day and i need to find a village the first thing i need to do is find a high point in minecraft thankfully with this spawn We have a lot of high points to choose from we could go over there we could go over here and once i get up to this area where i can see a lot of the world what i can do is go into my settings of minecraft go down to video turn my fov Down so i can see the things that are farther away closer up kind of acts like a telescope and i can scroll down and if my device is fast enough i can turn up my render distance so i can see more chunks of the world so i’ll go back to Resume game as you can see it sort of has a telescope view here and we can see far into the distance around our world and oh it turns out we didn’t actually really need to go very far to find a village and looking off the distance oh there there actually is another village As well right over here but yeah this is uh sort of the least interesting method it still works very well but i have some very cool methods that i think you guys are going to like a lot better okay for my second method we’re going to be using An outside world to find the villages so basically i start at my base here i hit the pause button go to settings and under the game tab i’m just going to scroll down until i see the seed right here now what i can do is either Screenshot the seed so i can save the number take a picture of it with my phone or i could just write it down on a piece of paper and then i’m going to save and quit this world go to create new and then create new world set that World to a creative world and when i scroll down under game and go to seed i can go ahead and type that seed in so once the seed is typed in i can go and create this new world and since it has the exact same generation as the Previous world i can fly around and look around for a village as you can see by the previous method we already found this one that was right under our noses and then you know the village over there and any other villages that might be around maybe you’re looking for a Village in a specific area and again the same thing applies you can go ahead video settings you can crank up your render dist and turn your fov down and you can hunt around your world but in you know any area you basically want flying around to find your villages and Once you have found a village a bonus tip here you can go into settings and you can scroll down under the game tab and under world options right here you can see an option that says show coordinates and when you turn this on you’ll be able to see your coordinates In the top left hand corner as you can see this is 73 178 negative 239 so i can go back into the old world with coordinates on as well and go to the exact same position if i need to locate this village specifically so this final Method here the most cool in my opinion is going to use the link down in the description below it’s going to take you to this website called trunk base which has something called a village finder so as you can see there’s different stuff here we can enter the seed of our world We can go ahead and just find right here and we can also make sure we switch it to a bedrock 1.18 here and what i’ll do is up in the seed i’ll type it in and once that’s fully typed in we can see some little dots have appeared on the Screen we’ll go back into our game here our specific coordinates are negative 20 124 negative 153 the middle coordinate is our height in the world which we don’t need for this so we’ll just go for the first coordinate and the last coordinate so i’ll type in negative 20 And negative 150 down here and when i click the go button right here it’s going to show me a red dot and this is where i’m located so this is obviously this first village right here that i’m looking at but as you can see there’s a village over here there’s a village Right behind me over here villages over here over here over here when you zoom out you can see a bunch of villages all throughout the world there are plenty and of course when you hover over specific villages it’s gonna show you you know the type of village down in the Corner in the x and z coordinates of said village so this is extremely useful probably for more experienced worlds too that maybe your villagers are all dead or burned down whatever the case might be i’m not judging but anyways yes definitely my favorite method link in the description alright everyone i’m Going to go ahead and move on to the java tutorial i have three different types of village finding strategies for you for java edition the first two aren’t really the most exciting for me but the last one i really like so we’ve got my beautiful house with again more Beautiful house design just like in bedrock edition and the first thing i’m going to do if i want to find a village is find a high point to look out from and scan for villages so the only real high point i can see is up here near These big glaciers i’m gonna go ahead and climb up one of these and we will see if there’s anything we can spot all right so i have successfully climbed to the top of this glacier we can see my little house over there and right now i Can’t really see anything but if i hit escape and go to my options we can see there’s some options we could change to maybe help us spot things a little bit better so the first thing i can adjust is fov as you can see when i turn my fov Down everything in minecraft gets a lot closer as you can see my house is much more visible now the next setting we’re going to change is in options and then in video settings i know mine looks different from yours most likely because i am using optifine but the only setting We’re using is render distance right up here and this one is in the same place as normal so i’m going to do is turn my render distance up a little bit depending on how fast your computer this might give you some lag and once i escape everything’s gonna reload and i Should be able to see more of the world oh oh there’s actually a village right over there well there you go there was actually a village super close to my house and i just didn’t notice it because of the rendered distance so yeah that’s the first method to climb to a High place turn up your render distance lower your fov and see if you can find any villages now we’re going to move on to some more interesting methods alright so back at my beautiful house here what i’m actually going to want to do is hit t and then type slash sedan this is Gonna bring up my seed for my world so i’ve clicked that and there’s the seed right there if i click t again it’s gonna bring up the chat and i can actually hover over with my mouse and it says click to copy the keyboard so i’ll Click and now the seed has actually been copied to my clipboard so i can do is save and exit this world go to create a new world set it to creative mode go down to more world options and in the seed i’ll just hold down the control Button on my keyboard and then press v and it will paste the seed that i copied from my other world into this one so when i generate this world it’s going to be exactly the same as the other world and as you guys can see it’s exactly the Same wow i missed this as well but there’s the village over there but the the difference with this one is i can fly around this world go wherever i want find villages wherever i want and for example if i needed to know the coordinates of this world what i can do Is hit f3 on my keyboard and it’s going to bring up all this data and right there next to x y and z it’s going to show us our coordinates so i can go back in the other world hit f3 and run to those coordinates i can just take a Picture or write them down when i’m on this screen so that’s the second method now we’re gonna be moving on to my favorite method the third method so the third method uses the link down in the description below which will take you to this website right here Chunk base and as you can see we have a village finder right here and we can enter the seat of the world which we just copied of course and as you can see there’s a bunch of little dots on this map each one of these dots is a village And it even shows you the coordinates of each village and what type of village it is as well and if we want to locate this specific village that might be close to us what we want to do of course is hit f3 and it’ll bring up our coordinates Here in minecraft so our x coordinate for example is pretty much just zero and our z coordinate here is a negative 130 so when i type that in and then click go on the website right here it’s gonna bring us to our location in this world On this red dot as you can see this is the village that we saw initially right here and then there is a bunch more out here that you can find of course so you can you know pinpoint which direction they are and lead yourself to the Villages in a minecraft which i think is super great and super interesting so yeah link to this website down in the description this is definitely my favorite method so yeah everyone thank you so much for watching this video if this video helped you guys out i would Really appreciate a like and a subscribe and
