Welcome back everybody emcee here with another video and today i am going to discuss with you how to get from 20 to 30 viewers on twitch we have already discussed how to get from 0 to 10 viewers on twitch and how to get from 10 to 20 viewers on Twitch now if you have followed my other videos and you have still not succeeded you just need to give them a little bit more time you just have to give yourself more time you probably could also use this video to kind of know what to do when you actually do get Your goal of say 0 to 10 and then 10 to 20 viewers but now we’re gonna go from 20 to 30 viewers this is where i spent a lot of my time this is where i settled for mediocrity when it comes to my own stream and My own expectations so a lot of people who get above 20 and are stuck between 20 and 30 they actually accept where they are and they say hey this is pretty good let’s stay here it’s nice and relaxing but if you want to get to that 30 mark Or if you want to get in the high 20s you definitely need to follow some of the instructions i’m going to give you right now and it’s pretty much things that i have used as well to get me out of that 20 to 30 viewer zone and more so the 20 to 26 Viewer zone i find i spent a lot of time on 26 viewers and here’s how i got out of it the first thing i did was make sure that you have more than one main game at this stage if you only have one main game that you are playing For your viewers you’re always gonna end up literally being stuck exactly where you are and you’re still gonna have a successful stream don’t get me wrong a lot of people would love to be above 20 viewers on twitch as an average but if you want to take it to the next Level you definitely need to get another main game into your rotations so you’re keeping things fresh keeping things fresh is what it’s all about when you get to this level you have a lot of people who are expecting good content from your stream and they’re they want good content from You and if you’re playing the same thing all the time they’re not really going to enjoy it all the time they’re going to want to have a little bit of freshness and variety that’s why you should have two main games at this stage and just so you know what i did I used to play rocket league all the time and pretty much what ended up happening was i was settled into a situation where i was happy but then i kind of wanted a little bit more so i started playing rocket league and and that’s where the end came in i Started playing rocket league and another main game and i went through a lot of different main games alongside rocket league over the last couple of years and every time i play a new main game and keep switching it in and out i enjoy the freshness and the variety and the The new people that are coming in that the fresh mindset because of course rocket league players have a style and then they tend to be one way and then you have viewers who play rpgs for example and they definitely have a different mentality than rocket league players So i highly recommend getting a second main game so the second thing that i would recommend and this is kind of similar to the force first point or it connects to the first point and that is make sure that you give a game long enough to make a difference there’s no point in Playing a game for two days and automatically saying oh this doesn’t work you need to give games time so that people can realize that you’re actually playing them so that they can come in and watch you can’t just turn on a game and then automatically a bunch of people are Going to commit because oh wow you’re actually playing this game for the first time and that will happen amongst your regular community they will see you playing a game and they’ll be hyped to see your opinion on it but i’m talking about people from that community or from that game They’re not they’re not going to want to watch you as a new player just because you turned on the stream for the first time with that game so the next thing and the next part that’s very important for me is make sure that you don’t let games Go stale still happens to me all the time it’s just because i can’t really think what to play next sometimes it’s one of those situations where you have to kind of judge it yourself if you play a game for too long it’s going to end up being a little bit stale after hundreds And hundreds of hours so you can’t you definitely gotta give a game long enough to get established and to be enjoyable but don’t drag it out make sure you realize when something is becoming stale so that you can move on to the next thing and it’ll keep it fresh for you too if You move on pretty regularly when it comes to your video games you’ll have a lot more fun because you’re playing a lot more games and we are gamers at the end of the day and then finally when it comes to the points connected to each other finish your playthroughs there’s nothing Worse on twitch than seeing a play shoe that’s half finished and then the streamer goes off and does something else one of my top tips is to finish your playthroughs if you’re doing a story game for example don’t stop halfway and then start a new one and then go back and finish the First one finish your playthroughs one at a time one game at a time and then don’t move on to the next story game until you’ve finished the one that you’re playing however that doesn’t mean you have to force yourself to finish plate shoes you’re not enjoying if you’re not enjoying it just literally Say to your audience i’m not enjoying this anymore i don’t want to play it anymore and then stop and then don’t go back to it later like literally you don’t have to force yourself to finish play shoes if you’re not enjoying the game but if you are enjoying the game don’t Stop halfway through and play something else so my next point when it comes to how to grow from 20 to 30 viewers is share ideas with other streamers this one is interesting because not only will it get you a little bit closer to other streamers and you’ll be able to Maybe make a few friends but you will also be able to share some ideas and get ideas for future updates to your stream sometimes people who have their own stream they have ideas that would be perfect for your stream but they don’t implement it on theirs because it doesn’t suit their style And i definitely would recommend kind of sharing styles with other streamers and getting to know what they do or what their thought process is and then maybe using it on your stream i mean at the end of the day you’re not stealing ideas especially if you say to The person oh i’m going to take that idea if you don’t mind so i mean you can ask first but i mean every almost every idea that’s been done on twitch has already been done so even if you do copy someone else’s idea and as long as it’s completely above board Obviously um then i mean what’s the problem i personally let people know if i’m going to take their idea because i like to be friendly with people but if you don’t want to have to approach people to tell them i’m going to take your idea then Just use it as long as it’s completely legal it’s not copyrighted all that kind of stuff as long as it’s above board you’re perfectly fine to maybe even improve on an idea that you see in another stream so honestly guys the 20 to 30 viewer mark is where people Tend to get a little bit lazy and they’ll get a little bit settled in and they enjoy themselves a little bit too much it can also be the one that takes the longest to get out of in my experience anyway and it’s mostly because you’re actually enjoying success On twitch that people all over the platform would love to have but you’re kind of comfortable with what you’re doing and you’re not improving and i always recommend trying to improve at all times and trying to come up with new ideas so if you use these ideas that i gave You in this video you’ll definitely have a better chance of getting above the 26 to 30 viewer mark and keeping an average of a of a good viewer count next two videos that we’ll be making about this series will be how to get from 30 to 40 viewers Which will be a lot of fun for you guys especially if you’re ever going to be able to make it there if you use these tips that if you give yourself enough time you will and then the 40s to 50s and that’s where things become a bit more fun And a bit more spicy for you everything is going to start picking up in intensity and in energy and in in just pure busyness you’re just going to be a lot busier once you get to the 40 to 50 mark honestly so uh hopefully you all get There and hopefully you’ll be able to get there with my tips on the next two videos but thank you very much for watching today’s videos make sure you check out our other videos in the series how to get from zero pretty much to 30 viewers now thank you very much for watching i’ll See you again soon Video Information
