So when i start a build i’ll normally create a basic floor plan like you see here i’m using diamond emerald right now just to act as filler blocks but i’ll texture them later with some brushes and in this case the diamond is going to be the walls and emerald’s going to be The trim and once i’m done with the floor plan i’ll use the slash stack command to copy the floor plan upwards a few times and that’ll create the first level of the structure and then i’ll just add a little bit more trim and then i’ll move on to the roof shape When i build the roof i’ll begin by creating the frame i like to start at the end to create the little tp that the roof makes and then i’ll select the line that i created stand on the roof’s center point and then i’ll do slash slash copy and slash Flip while looking in the direction that i want it to flip to and then i’ll do slash paste minus a to make a mirror image after i have the tp i make the main bridge of the roof I’ll get a little creative here and give it a little character by making a curved shape and once i’m happy with it i’ll copy it down to the lower edge i’ll change it up a little bit to make it a little more unique but once i’m happy with that shape i’ll Make a mid line in between the roof peak in the lower edge and you’ll see why in a minute to fill in the roof i’ll use a command called loft and that’s from archeon it’s a bit too complicated to get into on this video but i’ll put a link in the Description if you want to learn more about it basically what loft allows me to do is connect three lapis lines that i made together and make a very organic shape so once i have the three lines selected i’ll use the command slash slash loft set lapis block and there it is And then i’ll do some last minute edits and flip it to the other side And using those same strategies to create the main shape i’ll finish off the center in the side portions of the house it’s pretty redundant so i’m going to skip through most of it The main structure is pretty much done it’s not detailed yet but before we do that we need to texture it i think a lot of this is pretty self-explanatory if you’ve watched my brush tutorials so i will speed through this as well giving you the block palettes as i progress If you haven’t watched my world of tutorials on brushes and brush gradients i’d recommend checking them out before you watch this section i will put a link in the description Detailing is the most time intensive part of the build especially for me i go super detailed on most of my builds so it probably takes the longest on this build i have a few window and trim motifs that are pretty consistent throughout and this design that i’m Building on the front will be my stencil and then i can copy it with commands to the rest of the structure And some of the final details are the smoke stacks so here i’m using the loft tool that we use on the roof to create a ribbon and it’s a slightly different method but the mechanics are the same and then i set the initial blocks as filler blocks in this case diamond block And then i’ll texture with a mix of red stained glass and redstone blocks And that is pretty much it for this tutorial i hope it was a little bit more in depth and thanks for watching let me know if you want to see more of these it’s a lot of work to do them but i really do enjoy it have a good day bye You Video Information
